Astoria was the perfect venue for our wedding! Food was phenomenal, staff was incredibly friendly, and the venue itself was beautiful on the inside. We especially loved the attached courtyard! The abundance of available parking was a perk too. Max was super responsive and very clear about pricing and expectations, and the planning forms took a lot of the pressure off of us. He helped us plan every detail and did it with a smile! Would highly recommend!

We loved our wedding at Astoria Banquets. I chose the venue because my sister had her wedding there and I knew how beautiful it was and how easy they make it. I had my ceremony and reception there and both were perfect. They were able to accommodate my small wedding of 55 guests and I loved that everything was included. The service was amazing, everyone was so helpful and just went out of their way to make our day special and worry free.

BRIDES AND GROOMS, please please please book your wedding here. We got married on 9.23.23. All inclusive venue that required minimal set up and Max is super accommodating and helpful. Max lets you pick and choose what we can cut out and keep in for the all inclusive wedding package. The food is stellar and our guests were raving about all the food. Do yourself a favor if you don’t want to have to worry about a single thing, Astoria Banquets has your covered. Breathtaking venue with even better staff. Our wedding was everything we dreamed it would be and more! This is all thanks to the people we had around us and Max and his team at Astoria Banquets and Events. Our wedding was on February 4, 2023. They catered to our every need, not only did they shovel snow for us to take outdoor pictures in the middle of winter, they turned down the heat when I was too HOT! (clearly why I’m a winter bride) Everything from the soup to the chicken was AMAZING! And by the end of the night the staff at Astoria becomes like your family! Max and his team, the bartenders, waitstaff, and security, everyone is so amazing and so happy for you and YOUR big day. Like they don’t do this every single night. And a big thank you to Leo who was there for us whenever we needed him! Thanks for an amazing night, I would 110% recommend Astoria Banquets and Events! And take them up on their recommended DJs and Hotels. It takes the hassle out of everything. We had James Mastrino, DJUj Mobile Music Lights & Entertainment. He was outstanding at his job!

We got married 10/22/2022!!!! My experience was amazing! From the time I booked the venue until I said farewells at my wedding! Max and his team were patient, kind and extremely helpful! Going in I had no idea what to expect, but they certainly paved the way and made my day even more special! I can't thank them enough for all the help and support!

This venue is so beautiful. Firstly, we loved the separate "Bar" room area they have. It just creates a whole different environment where people can have conversation and be away from the music if they wanted. We love the different packages offered and how customizable everything is. Staff were professional and friendly. Max was great to work with and made sure everything we wanted, they delivered and understood. Max was also very helpful during rehearsal and helping me (the bride) make sure everyone understood process, walking order and little details. Food and tasting process was great, the attention the Chef gave us to make sure we understood everything was really great. All around very pleased with Max and Astoria and wish we could re-live it all again!

We are so happy that we had our wedding at Astoria!! Max was always very responsive to emails and made sure we didn’t have to worry about anything. The venue is breathtaking and so elegant! It’s everything I always wanted for my wedding day. We had no issues the day of. Everything was put out exactly as I requested it be. Our guests has the best time! We got married 1-15-22 and to say everything was perfect would be an understatement. We had the stress of the Cook County vaccine mandates come out 2 weeks before our wedding, but Max helped us handle it with ease... just like everything else that had to be planned for this venue. Max took literally all of my stress away every time I talked with him, he was extremely easy to work and communicate with and like I said our day was perfect. I couldn't have imagined anything different. I recommend Astoria to EVERYONE I know that's getting married or holding an event. The food was AMAZING... everyone still talks about it to this day. The venue was gorgeous, we got so many compliments about everything from this day. This day would not have been possible without Max and everything he did to help us get to that point. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Isabel! She made sure things ran smoothly and even accommodated some guests that were delayed getting to the reception and made sure they got their food. The staff- FABULOUS. I have worked in catering, waitressing, bartending, etc and they exceeded my expectations. I truly could not be more impressed with how everything turned out. Thank you to everyone at Astoria for giving us the best day of our lives!!

Max is amazing and the venue was beautiful! I recommend using Astoria to any couple that wants a host that will work with you to make your special day the way you want.

We had our wedding here recently and while it was beautiful it was too many hiccups that are unforgivable. We spent over 11K for this all inclusive venue and didn't realize that it isn't "all inclusive" During our final walkthrough we realized we would have to pay extra for ceremony decorations (something that I wish would have been told to us at signing). We were told we wouldn't really need a wedding coordinator as the venue will be able to be there for us. Thank God we chose to get a Month-of-coordinator. The owners of the venue did not come and assist with the wedding and did not tell me, my husband, or my coordinator of this change. So when we arrived we had no clue who to talk to. An the people there did not speak English fluently so it was a big language barrier. My Ceremony Dress was ruined before the ceremony in their get-ready suite. When me and planner expressed our concerns about my dress we were met with little to no help. All they did was replace the chair. But the venue did not have any products to get the big stain out and I legit CRIED. Ceremony went beautiful. However the cocktail hour, they had our guests wait in a long line to receive their appetizers and ultimately ran out of food before everyone could eat. We had 11 guests not show up and again spent over 11K on this venue and to run out of food was ridiculous. The open bar did not have our signature drinks until 9pm. Ceremony started at 5pm. During Reception time we requested for an upgraded sweetheart table and did not receive it. Additionally, I had a totally different layout from what was discussed during the final walk through. We ended up having guests being bunched up on each other and during COVID I didn't think this was the safest Idea and you could barely walk through tables. It got HOT and QUICK. The food during dinner, while delicious my husband and I chicken was cold. An the wait staff kept coming up to try to take our plates. We were not finished. Our coordinator had to let them know to stop walking up on us and wait for us to finish. The waitstaff was just plain rude. the hiccups we experienced were unforgivable and while Astoria did pay for dress to be cleaned, I feel that these issues would have not risen if Max or Lora was there to assist. It was definitely a learning experience for this Venue. I'm sure if the owners are there, your wedding will go off without a hitch (I have a friend who was married here and the owners showed and she had zero issues). I will never be able to get this day back and I was never able to take pictures in my Ceremony dress. It still hurts one month later. I hope that my experience would not happen to anyone else

I had my wedding in July 2021 and I'm so glad that I booked Astoria. I love how their packages include a lot of choices and you can always modify, add and personalized it to your style. I felt like I didn't have to do much. Max was very communicative and helped us through the process. He explained everything in great details, including the price and payments. There were no surprised charges at all. The food turned out really good. All my guests couldn't stop talking about it. My wedding couldn't be anymore perfect and effortless, thanks to the amazing team at the Astoria.

Max helped us plan out our wedding and was amazing. He was very communicative and answered all our questions. He has great customer service and he exceeded our expectations! The venue was to die for! Very well decorated. It was beautiful!! They truly made my “dream” wedding come true. The only thing I had noticed though was that our seating chart and set-up was wrong. The numbering wasn’t correct.. Unfortunately, all weddings don’t go as planned though..My grandmother also suffered a stroke during our ceremony and because of this reason, many people missed our wedding night due to them being in the hospital. The banquet hall manager we had was a little rude at first and had told me everyone was all over the place and that many people were missing. I had explained to him what had happened earlier and he was a bit more understanding after that. Also, because of my family emergency, things at my wedding were running a bit late. My husband ended up taking over as well and made things go quicker so we were able to still dance towards the end. Overall, I know this wasn’t anyone’s fault and we can’t always have control. I was just in love with this venue the minute we stepped foot inside!! Max was amazing with everything and walked us through all the details. I was not once overwhelmed or stressed about anything!! don't get me started on the food, my guest have not stopped talking about it!! we got the combo plate of filet and chicken champagne and the fish plate (salmon) everything was cooked to perfection and I'm pretty sure no plate went back empty!! I will recommend Astoria to anyone who is looking for a venue!!!

From beginning to end they were the best … I know max was tired of all my emails but he kept his cools and was always professional. Our wedding day itself was magical and everything I planned it to be … thanks again see ya soon

Had my wedding at Astoria on 6/11/21 and it was EVERYTHING! The food was just as good as it was at the tasting, the decor and the ceremony space was amazing! The wait staff and coordinator were great as well.

I absolutely loved Astoria, they were very professional and very helpful, they made my fairy tale wedding come true and I’m forever grateful, everything was perfect from the decor to the food and helpful staff, they have my 5 stars hands down 🥰

If you are considering getting married or renewing your vows this is the place to do it at. They go above and beyond to make your day perfect!! Despite having to change my date a few times due to the pandemic they worked with me through it all I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. I love this place so much! They work so well with me and help so much to make sure I get the wedding of my dreams. I appreciated them so much because I was able to get married during pandemic. I had to cut down my guest list but I was still had my dances with my husband and family. I would definitely come back to celebrate my wedding anniversary here.

In the midst of a pandemic, we were still able to have our beautiful royal wedding to commemorate 10 years together. It was truly one for the books. I am especially grateful for how closely Lora and Max worked with me and my husband to personalize every single detail to make the day truly remarkable and memorable. From handpicking the decor for each of the guest tables to dancing on a cloud, we had such a beautiful ceremony and reception. Lora and Max really worked overtime to bring our vision to life. More importantly, they worked to ensure that our wedding was safe for all people attending. They have truly incorporated CDC guidelines for gatherings and I felt comfortable having a wedding in the midst of a national health pandemic because of it. Despite having to cut our guest list in half, we had a ball and the room was filled with love, positive energy, and joy and happiness and I am so grateful that Astoria hosted our special day. Other notes: the food was amazing, especially for "wedding food" that I have had at other weddings, which unfortunately, is usually subpar. It was way above average and flavorful, which was important to us and our guests. We were able to have signature drinks to reflect the theme of our wedding, which was so fun. Astoria has a great relationship with the Baking Institute, so the cake included in our package was absolutely beautiful and decorated so elegantly with our wedding colors and accents. 10/10 would highly recommend Astoria for your wedding venue.

Astoria Banquets was my wedding venue from the start. I actually never looked at many other places because the decor was amazing during my first visit. I booked shortly after and had my wedding here in October. Everyone was so nice and patient. I sent multiple emails etc. and every time they responded with urgency. They got everything my husband and I wanted for our special day. We will forever remember this day. :)

Everything about Astoria is absolutely wonderful. From the moment we set foot in Astoria, we instantly knew that this is the place that we wanted to get married in. We wanted an elegant and beautiful ballroom wedding that served a family style dinner. Astoria did not disappoint. We booked our wedding date, 9/21/19, less than two weeks after our first visit back in January 2018. The owners, Lora and Max were so accommodating with our questions and requests throughout the entire wedding planning process. They helped ease our stress about little details, allowed us to bring in our bins of supplies a few days before the wedding, and even set up all of our decorations,favors, place cards,etc. Our wedding turned out better than we could have imagined! Our guests loved the passed appetizers during cocktail hour, loved the drinks, and raved about the dinner! Our DJ told us, our wedding will be one that our friends and family will talk about for years to come because it was absolutely perfect! We even had a number of our guests say that they never have been to a more beautiful, elegant, and organized wedding than ours! Thank you again Lora and Max for all of your help during the wedding planning process! We couldn't have had our dream wedding without you!

We are beyond pleased with Astoria. Beautiful venue and it was a pleasure working with Max. He was extremely helpful; we didn’t know what we wanted and he made great suggestions. He made the insanity of planning our reception so smooth and easy! When we walked into our reception, we were so pleased with the elegance of the room, decorations, and lights. Loved everything! My niece had her wedding here 9/21/19. I had seen the venue one other time while they hosted a poker tournament. When we walked in early for family photos, I was was amazed at how beautifully the area was transformed for the wedding ceremony. It was absolutley breathtaking. Everything from the way the chairs were arranged, the lighting, the backdrop, the decor was like something out of a fairytale. The passed appetizers during cocktail hour were delicious & plentiful. The room was transformed again during cocktail hour to a beautiful welcoming dinner/reception area. Plenty of room, good food presentation & an abundance of delicious food. The entire experience was wonderful. The owners were there to make any adjustments needed and plenty of staff to help the entire evening run smoothly. 5 stars does not seem like enough.

My daughter had her wedding at Astoria this last weekend and it was perfect . Max and Lora and their staff made sure everything was perfect . The venue is beautiful . The appetizers and dinner was delicious and they set up the venue exactly how we wanted it with all of the personal decor we brought in. More than 5 star . All of our guest commented on how beautiful it was . The owners made their wedding dreams come true . Highly recommend

The process was so smooth in choosing all our decor to our menu. Most venues we check out the ceremony did not even feel special with Astoria you get everything you dreamed of. Everyone was very nice. Max did a great job making my wedding magical. I felt like a Queen. My guests absolutely loved it, and thought it was so elegant. There wasn’t too much and wasn’t too little. Of course I loved how everything was inclusive and the looks on our guests faces when they found out it was an open bar—priceless. The staff were very nice. I pretty much hugged every server and staff member before I left. Very impressed and very happy! Thank you Max and Astoria crew!

I had my wedding this past Easter 04/21/19 and when I say it was everything and More is an understatement. Max and the team did an excellent job. The food was amazing and the sunrise drinks! I literally don’t have one complaint!

I can't even put into words how amazing Astoria is. When pulling into the parking lot for our tour we were not sure how we would like Astoria given that it is in a strip mall but once we walked inside we were blown away. The venue has beautiful lighting, decor, and furnishings. We were greeted and given information by Lora. She is AMAZING. She gave us all of the information we needed and was very upfront about all of the costs of items and made us feel very comfortable with our budget. After only an hour at Astoria we decided over dinner that evening to book. Our reception on March 2nd was an absolute dream. The decor was perfect, food was incredible, and the service was impeccable. The staff made us feel like true royalty that night and we wished the evening would never end. I would recommend Astoria to anyone looking for an all in one venue with incredible service, food, decorations, and staff!

Just recently had our wedding at Astoria on October 19, 2018. It was such a pleasure working with Max. He guided us through the entire process. The venue was beautiful and our guests had so much fun! It was one of the best days of our lives!

As many brides know, the day of your big wedding is just exhausting. Unfortunately there were a lot of things that went very wrong on my wedding day, and when I arrived at Astoria for cocktail hour after taking pictures, I just started crying. I think the owners, Lora & Max, thought I hated how everything looked, but that could not be further from the truth. I was very overwhelmed, in pain, and sweating... but Lora & Max were on it to make sure I was enjoying myself. Once I finally calmed down and stopped sweating and crying (thank you, bridesmaids!), I took a step back and looked at how BEAUTIFUL the reception hall looked. I did a lot of little DIY touches to personalize my wedding, and those DIY details in combination with the beautiful reception hall, decorations, and lighting provided by Astoria made this such a stunning wedding. Lora & Max responded super quickly to every single one of my emails and phone calls during the planning process (and there were a lot). The food was delicious, late night snacks were a hit, staff was super kind, lighting was beautiful, and everything was set up according to my instructions. We had so many guests tell us "This is the best wedding I have ever been to...including my kids' weddings!" How amazing is that compliment? You can just tell that Lora & Max really want you to have the best day ever, so they genuinely care and put a lot of effort into your wedding. Also, the prices are super reasonable. I looked at a lot of other wedding venues, and nothing topped Astoria. Of course there were a little hiccups here and there, but overall, it was incredible. Use their recommended vendors, do the sweetheart table (you won't regret it), and let Lora & Max help you plan the most memorable, beautiful wedding. :D

My wedding was 8/27/18 I looked at many venues and was stressing out! I set an appointment to view Astoria and when me and my husband walked in we instantly fell in love! Then when we started talking about prices and what came with we were sold. The venue looked so magical I felt like I was one of Disney’s princess. I wish I can go and do it all over again exactly the same way. The staff was great especially with me calling a thousand times asking questions like us brides do, they never got frustrated with me. There arent enough words to describe how amazing Astoria and all their staff were on our wedding September 22, 2018. They made our wedding day all we ever wished for. They were so caring, professional, helpful, kind overall wonderful. From beginning to the end we didnt encounter any problems and they worked so well. The managment was great throughout all the planning and the waiter's, bartenders all staff the day off were all we could ever ask for. That day i didnt have to worry about anything at all the staff worked so well with my coordinator and they knew exactly what to do. Not to mention how beautiful everything turned out the place is beautiful but once i walked in the day of and saw everything set up i couldnt believe how beautiful it all was. I will never forget every moment of this very special day and everyone at Astoria because they made it an unforgettable night for us. Thank you so much for being so wonderful!!♡

I just got married on March 10, 2018 and had my wedding ceremony and celebration at Astoria Banquets. From beginning to end when I met with Max before we signed our contract he was so easy to work with . My wedding was a Love Story and the staff was wonderful, food was beautiful and tasty and my wedding cake was beautiful. This was my Dream Come True Wedding. I highly recommend having your Dream Come True Wedding here with Astoria. Please ask for Max.

Astoria went above and beyond of what we imaged for our wedding. First of all, I searched for places for a long time before I found them and they are the most affordable place without a doubt and many options to choose from. That being said, even though it is affordable it does not skip on what makes it beautiful. Inside the building is breathtaking when you walk in and everyone is very nice and courteous. We worked with Max and the process from payments, planning and not to mention he answered all my emails and there was quite a bit. The day of they set everything up and broke everything down so we didn't have to worry about that at all. All our guests said that the Astoria did a beautiful job and the food was so delicious. Make sure you take time to see this place! Thank you Max and crew!

Our wedding at Astoria Banquets on June 24, 2017 was one of the best moments of our life. Amairani was the staff member in attendance and she was very professional and kind throughout the entire day. The décor was everything that I wanted and more. We would like to just say thank you helping us celebrate our special day!

Fantastic experience. The food was delicious and there was an endless amount! Open bar was awesome and bartender was quick at serving drinks! Staff were great in making sure the whole night went smoothly and asking us anytime they had questions. The decorations were beautiful and everyone had a great time. We keep getting complemented on how great our reception was and none of it could have been possible with out Max and the staff at Astoria. Anytime we had a question, they were always there to help! We really loved this venue and would recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful reception hall!

We had our Wedding here in Aug. 2017 and Astoria Banquets is beyond AMAZING!!! The service alone is one of the best I've experienced at a banquet - Max goes above and beyond to make your vision become a reality (and he's super patient too which means so much to a mind changer like myself :)). The food was delicious and the venue itself is so beautiful and well taken care of - two of the most important things to us as we had a Polish/European wedding. All of our guests were wowed as they entered the ballroom and throughout the night - I kept hearing how everything exceeded their expectations as it did mine :). I highly recommend them, they're reasonably priced and definitely know what they're doing to ensure everything goes perfectly!

Getting married for the second time, but planning for THIS to be the perfect wedding was very important. I found Astoria Banquets through these reviews and from the very first tour and meeting, we knew this was the perfect place to have our wedding. Every bride fears forgetting something in the planning and I can assure you, Lora never let that happen. Lora worked with us every step of the way and we had organizers, timelines and friendly reminders all the way til wedding day. Her valuable insight was so much appreciated and no matter what the question she was always happy to help. If Lora was out, Max was there "lock step" to be sure we had what we needed. There were so many choices to have our own look and Lora was great to help us keep in our budget. Wedding day left me speechless, everything was BEAUTIFUL and EXACTLY how we requested it to be. To this day my guests are still raving about the beautiful location for ceremony and reception, the delicious food, and the wonderful staff. Our banquet captain was fantastic. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Thank you to all..especially Lora for the most memorable day ever.

The first time I walked into Astoria I knew right then that this was the place where my dream wedding needed to be. Lora was absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with. Astoria truly made my day more than I could have possibly imagined. Every little detail was more than perfect. When I walked in to Astoria on my wedding day it screamed my name, pink and bling every where. Everyone one at our wedding couldn't believe how truly beautiful it was. We had an absolutely great wedding at Astoria! We had 90 guests and everyone raved about the food and a good time was had by all!!! This is the only place we found in Chicagoland that was within a reasonable budget and it was perfect from beginning to end!! ❤️❤️
