Not only is the food delicious (we had crab cakes, raw bar, tenderloin carving station, premium bar, etc!), but Kristin is one of the most amazing coordinators to work with. I felt like I was her daughter throughout the planning process- that is how much love and dedication Kristin puts into her work. She was able to schedule different meetings with my mom and I, as well as catering to our schedules so my husband could also be involved. Kristin had everything covered and was able to answer all of our questions. It greatly helped that she has worked countless events at The Cloisters, as well as with our florist- Alison with Rutland Beard. Kristin took note of everything we asked and said. She was available at anytime and able to ease stress (if any was felt at all!). On our wedding day, I had tears in my eyes as we arrived at The Cloisters because she had transformed our vision into a reality. Long story short- Kristin is absolutely wonderful, organized, and wise- very easy to work with. The food is out of this world in taste and presentation.

ed to go with Atlantic Caterers. One of the most creative things they offer is a salad bar where guests get to pick thier toppings and their sailad dressing. The salad is mixed together in a shaker and then served in a martini glass. We basically had an open bar with two specialty drinks...Strawberry Daquiri and Bailey's (mud slide). Heidi handled all the rentals for the extra tables we needed for the reception and ceremony. She handled the flowers for the food tables, sweetheart table, and cake table. She helped us with our wedding cake. We only needed to pick what we wanted. She handled all the napkins and table cloths. She made it so we didn't have to worry about anything. For appetizers, we had crab balls, shrimp, and little chicken cordon bleu. We had the salad bar. We also had a large table with a cheese and fruit display. Atlantic Caterers puts on a big event they call a tasting where you get to taste a majority of their food. It is all free. For our main food, we gave our guests a choice of Flounder stuffed with Crab Meat, 6 oz. new york strip, and linguine with meatballs in marinara sauce. There was so much food on everyone's plates that some couldn't finish. Some said they had no room left for cake. My groom was given the steak and the fish. The food was a big success. It was only around $70 a person plus all the extras you have to pay. When we arrived at our reception, Heidi was waiting for us with our specialty drinks, shrimp, and crab balls. We were able to take a break before going into the reception. That felt like heaven. During the reception, Heidi kept checking on us and refilling our drinks. She was very attentive and really wanted to make sure we were happy. When it was time for the cake cutting, she came and got us. She also supervised the cake cutting and did everything she could to make that perfect. She even handed me a napkin to wipe the frosting off of my fingers. There was nothing she could have done to make our day more special. If you want a quality caterer who cares about the food and the quality of the food as much as they care about you then you want to go with Atlantic Caterers.

During all of our meeting it seemed it was going to be the perfect day. We also had our friends reception with them just this past weekend at the same location. It was amazing from start to end. Make sure who you plan ur event with who is really going to be there that day.

on how good the food was, especially the crab cakes. I am from Maryland and I've never seen so much lump crabmeat in a crab cake anywhere else. They were fantastic! They are also extremely affordable. I would use them again for a catered occasion.

eedless to say there was a lot that went wrong that day, and Raoul went above and beyond to make my day the best it could possibly be. From the beginning when we met Raoul and picked out the menu he was awesome, helping us choose the menu and linens and giving us advice, and the prices were great especially for the kind of/amount of food we were getting. A few days before the wedding when we realized the hurricane was going to hit he worked with me and kept me calm with what our plan B would be...On the wedding day Raoul and Atlantic's staff were more than I could of ever expected. The food was amazing and all our guests are still talking about it. Our reception room looked amazing and Raoul had set it up perfectly. During our pictures he was right there with us making sure everyone was ok and was checking to see if anyone needed anything. I could honestly go on for a long time telling you how great my experience was with Atlantic Caterers! I will use Atlantic for any function I have in the future and I recommend you do as well. Having a hurricane hit the day of our wedding caused A LOT of bumps in the road for our day and Raoul kept me calm through it all, Atlantic was the best vendor during this whole process, by far! I had been to weddings where Atlantic catered-so I knew they were great, but I had no idea they were THIS great...Use them- you will not be sorry!

e polite, professional, and extremely helpful. I can not say enough about their Sales Manager Kristin Olsson. My son and DIL said she was wonderful to interact with and addressed every item of concern, answered their questions, and was always there to help. I couldn't agree more. Her attention to detail is remarkable and I'm a detailed person! She worked very hard to make the wedding perfect. When we were looking at venues, I asked of one of the venue wedding coordinators if they had a preference of caterers, she said Atlantic Caterers because with Kristin you get a wedding coordinator too. I put that remark in the back of my mind. As we continued to review caterers, Atlantic Caterers came out on top every time. You can get an excellent idea about the quality they will bring to your wedding by attending one of their tastings. They are amazing too! I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed. From the bottom of my heart I say thank you!

he day of. I went with an animal theme since it was the zoo and Kristin helped me pull off a classy beautiful wedding. The food was fabulous and everyone can't stop talking about how good it was. Atlantic went as far as to cut the cheese on the cheese trays into little hearts. Not one detail was overlooked. The staff of Atlantic was great and they made sure everyone was happy and satisfied.

ing sure that I was not thristy all night. The food was beautiful. Yes it really was beautiful and delicious. Guests are still talking about the food and the servers. Very reasonably priced. They have a wide menu for you to chose from, however if what you want is not on that the menu already they will work with you to get you exactly want you want and need on your day. they set up, they break down and they are extremely friendly. If we had chosen anyone else it would not have been the same at all. I will more than likely use them for any future event that I may have.

I loved that they were not pretentious and diligently worked to perfect our menu within our price range. You should stop searching for a caterer right now, call Kristin, and set up an appointment to meet with her. It will be one of the best decisions you make in planning your wedding!

ing into their old-looking office, Kristin noted that they've not updated the decor in years because they put their money right back into the food and the service- and it shows. Working with Kristin was fantastic- she answered all questions, was very responsive, and we never had second thoughts about working with them. We did not "shop around" for our caterer, but Atlantic were recommended by just about everyone we talked to, for being a very professional caterer with great food at mid-level prices- in other words, a real value for the money! We met with Kristin several times in person, and discussed a lot via email- any changes we wanted to make were easily made. The tasting was wonderful- they did not have any problems with us including my brother, who happened to be with us, and gave us enormous amounts of delicious food- so much so that there were tons of left-overs which they happily packed up for us to take to our family for dinner that night! The wedding went off without a hitch- even with a sudden change in location for the cocktail hour due to the weather. The staff were kind and professional, and our guests were very impressed. My dad even mentioned that when cocktail hour began, he and his brothers swarmed the shrimp cocktail, practically eating right through it, but by the time they had blinked, the shrimp was refilled! My new husband continues to rave about the beef empanadas, and was thrilled that they had the pigs-in-a-blanket that were his only requirement for cocktail hour. The food was abundant and delicious. Dinner also went beautifully. My only requirement, being a native Marylander, was crab cakes for dinner- and they were great! People continue to rave about them, there were even notes in our guest book about how delicious the crab cakes were. We also had the stuffed chicken and ravioli, with asparagus and roasted potatoes. Our only tiny, minor, nit-picky problem was that some of the potatoes were cut larger, so didn't cook as well as the smaller potatoes. This was the only "problem" we had with our entire experience with Atlantic- they were fantastic. I myself had a nervous stomach during our wedding, and didn't really eat much, sadly- but our wonderful day-of-coordinator (Entertain Me De- Heidi Kern) and the staff at Atlantic made us a huge plate (really, a big foil pan's worth) of food, which I was able to eat later that night and the next day. Overall, great food, good prices (definitely worth the cost!), fantastic staff. We would absolutely recommend Atlantic and Kristin, and if we are able to throw a big party in the future in the Baltimore area, we will have no reservations about using them again!

She never made me feel rushed or hurried to make a decision. She listened to what I wanted and made great suggestions. Not only did almost every vendor I hired come at the recommendation of Kristin via her preferred vendor list, but she also took care of organizing all of our vendors and rentals from the cake to the linens and the chavari chairs. I will be forever grateful to Kristin for introducing me to the delights of, Oh My Chocolate... (See Separate review) On the day of the wedding everything look gorgeous. It was even better then I imagined. The food was excellent. The service was amazing. I have gotten SO many compliments. A year later I still have people telling me how great the food was and that it was the best "wedding food" they have ever tasted. Since our wedding, 2 couples who were guests at our wedding have booked Atlantic for their own event, and there isn’t higher praise than that!
