They were also so accomodating with things I asked for, they let me use the lobby to take pictures for as long as I needed before setting up. I would definitely recommend getting married here. The one I would say is if you want to be able to take pictures all over (lobby, aquarium, outside) just make sure there's not another event in one of the other places (example in the Aquarium if you're getting married in the Sea Star) just because I didn't know until last minute and its good to know for planning for your photographer. But the staff, food, experience 10/10 if you are considering getting married there I would do it!

My only gripe was the bridal attendant. She was fantastic in the beginning and as the night went on, she disappeared. But it wasn’t a big deal because all of the other workers were helpful! If I could do that day all over again, I would in a heartbeat!. Atlantis Banquets & Events is 1 of a kind!

latively smooth and much less chaotic than I was expecting. Joan LaRosa, our sales manager, was with us every step of the way to make sure our vision came to life. She fulfilled every request we had, including making sure I had vegan and non-dairy food options. Every detail was considered. Our ceremony was in the Sea Star Ballroom lobby which was enchanting and gorgeous. I made an unforgettable entrance down their grand staircase (didn't fall!). Our reception was in the aquarium itself and it could not have been more beautiful. The set up was great, the ambiance was calm but cheerful. We also got to take photos with the cutest penguin named Dwayne (I recommend him). Our bridal attendant, Christina, was really the star of the show. Anything we needed, she was there. While waiting for the ceremony to start, I was nervously sitting at the top of the stairs and Christina brought me about three glasses of champagne at my request and I love her for that. During our cocktail hour I was busy greeting guests but desperately wanted a plate of coconut shrimp but by the time I could sit down to have it, it was all gone. Christina was on it and got the kitchen to make me my own plate of shrimp. At the end of the night she packed up all our things and walked us next door to our hotel room and made sure we were all taken care of before bidding us adieu. I made sure to tell her I loved her and that she was an angel. For our vendors, we chose a three vendor package through Atlantis. This included a DJ, florist, and photographer. I have nothing but good things to say about the florist (Dalsimer, Spitz and Peck) and DJ (Absolute DJs). I really wanted a cascade bouquet for myself and what the florist made for me exceeded my expectations and I got so many compliments on it. The DJ was used for ceremony and reception and both went so smooth. The vibe created by the DJ has stuck out as a main memory from that day. The only complaint at all that I have for the whole wedding experience is with the photographer (Marco Photography). The experience taking the photos as well as the photos themselves were stressful and frankly unprofessional. We felt we were rushed the whole time taking photos and were uncomfortable with some of the awkward poses we were put in despite protesting. Some of the photo locations were weird, like a photo of my mom and I taken in front of the air conditioner in the hotel room, a photo of me that was taken next to the ice machine in the hotel, and our first look being done with a bunch of chairs in the background. The photos that were sent to us were really unattractive and in my opinion unacceptable. Over exposed, excessive flash and backlighting, very poor editing. There was nothing soft or elegant or romantic about them. They felt harsh and garish. I made my feelings known and thus began 7 months of back and forth with them to get the photos re-edited, design our thank you cards, and get the album and all prints back. I've left out a lot of details for brevity but the experience was absolutely terrible and overall I do not recommend this vendor to anyone. I highly recommend Atlantis Banquets and Events if you want a really unique wedding experience that you and your loved ones will remember forever.

with Joan and she was wonderful !!! Great advice and helpful. The venue transforms into an amazing place. It is so beautiful. Our guests were blown away!!! The food was absolutely delicious!!! Lots of amazing dishes to choose from. We did the ceremony in the boat house, the cocktail hour around the coy fish pond and inside the tent and the reception in the room with all the tanks. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. They made the wedding work like a well oiled machine !! They worked very hard and were always smiling and attentive to our guests. We took a vendor package which was available. It included a baker , photographer, DJ and Florist. We had a few of each to choose from. Every single vendor we chose was fabulous. The florist created beautiful arrangements to enhance the ambiance of the room. The dj kept the party fun and exciting and the photographer was awesome!! The cake was delicious and beautiful. We did add to our vendor package We also did add ons to the menu but all worth it!! This venue is pure magic. The staff are ultimate professionals and I’m sure people are still talking about this wedding !! Guests were impressed with everything!!! We thank the staff, Joan , Bryan and all the vendors for giving our daughter and son in law a wedding you can only dream about !!

Their professionalism and amiability put me at ease, and I can honestly say — as the bride — I was never all that stressed during the planning process. I'd also like to give a shout-out to all the staff members who worked our wedding the night-of. My bridal assistant was fantastic, always checking in and asking if my husband or I needed anything. She even got us some extra entrees to take back to the hotel room. Also, towards the end of the night, I noticed my pearl bracelet (an old family heirloom) had broken. My bridesmaids worked with some staff to search the floor, and we ended up finding 5/6 of the missing pearls! The care and conscientiousness of each and every staff member did not go unnoticed, and I definitely recommend Atlantis to anyone getting married on Long Island. Many guests came up to my husband and I to compliment Atlantis as well — in terms of the pure uniqueness of the venue, how delicious the food was, and how great the staff members were. Thanks to this venue and its very caring staff, my husband and I had a truly wonderful and unforgettable wedding.

Scott was our captain the day of and he absolutely killed it, everything ran so smoothly (at least as far as we could tell)! We had a REALLY big wedding, and Scott and the rest of his team were able to coordinate the timing down to the minute, and stick to it! Shout out to Liz, the best bridal attendant ever- we always had a full glass, food in front of us, and she was willing to do anything we asked. The food, both during cocktail hour, and the plated entrees were to DIE for. We are still having people reach out weeks after telling us how great the food was, and how great the bartenders, and wait staff were at each table. We are soooo grateful for all of the time and energy that Atlantis Banquets and Events put into our special day. Can't recommend this venue enough!

e weren't any hidden costs and their staff helped us with everything so much from the day we booked to the actual day of the wedding - we did not have to do ANY work on the day of the wedding which was amazing! We had our cocktail hour (actually cocktail hour & a half) in the actual aquarium and our reception in the Seastar ballroom - highly recommend doing your wedding day this way! The cocktail hour (and a half) was amazing - food was great and setting was beautiful! The reception was amazing - it looked beautiful and the staff was awesome! All of the staff were so great but our bridal attendant Johanna went ABOVE and BEYOND - she was so attentive and helpful, I can't say enough wonderful things about her! Highly recommend this venue!

d. I could not be happier with my experience as an Aquarium bride. My guests will be raving for years to come. Craig was so friendly from the start and we felt he genuinely had our best interest at heart. Dan the owner was absolutely incredible. Him and my dad became besties at the Seaside grill the night before my wedding. Bryan our details coordinator was great. My bridal attendant was an absolute gem and so helpful through the whole day. My captain was great too. Even the servers said congratulations and kind words to me. Staff was on point! Suzanne at the Hyatt was very accommodating and helpful. Having a room block connected was so great as I had a ton of out of town guests coming from Rhode Island. The hotel indoor pool, outdoor pool, a gym, breakfast til 11!!!! I had breakfast with my guests both mornings which was so fun and it was so nice not to have to plan a brunch for out of towners. The staff was sweet and helpful. They even asked how everything went the next day. Where do I even begin? My guests were greeted with strawberries and champagne, led out to the pavilion for a beautiful sunset ceremony, then our cocktail hour was an awesome indoor outdoor near the koi pond. The food was incredible and I highly recommend adding the seafood boat. We did photos before the ceremony which was great so we could enjoy the cocktail hour. They even made sure we got a little plate with h’orderves which was thoughtful. We also had champagne and wine in the bridal suite. Walking through the Aquarium just before closing I felt like a literal Disney princess with all their patrons young and old stopping to say how beautiful I looked. They made everything so easy to plan and I kept thinking I was forgetting something because it was such a stress free experience. I got to take photos with the Penguin and the Sea Lion as an add on. Soooo magical. We did the buffet and it was amazing!!!! The food was so good. We had a band, Dj, and a photo booth. They put out our centerpieces and votives and the shark room looked stunning. Our tables were next to the exhibits which was so cool! We added on the ice cream bar which I highly suggest. My guests loved it! We had so much fun. Truly a perfect evening. We ended up at the Seaside bar at the hotel after the reception for an after party. There was another bar inside too. The staff was so great! If I could do it all again I would in a heartbeat. The bakery they used for the cake was rolling pin. They order it for you which makes it so easy. It looked pretty and was actually delicious! We did cannoli cream. I will also say that being a bride during Covid was stressful but they made rescheduling so seamless and easy. No wild fees or anything. They really care about their brides. You could have your wedding at a regular venue our you could have your wedding at a venue that’s truly unforgettable. Look no further!!!! Have your wedding here, you will not regret it!!!

This was a time of uncertainty however the Atlantis Banquets & Events team made us feel supported and certain throughout the process. The team made us feel like we were the priority and whatever we wanted and felt comfortable with was the priority. Initially I met with Joan who was wonderful; such a kind, patient and sweet woman to work with in the beginning of wedding planning. Next we worked with Bryan who was great as well! I had a lot of questions and changes, literally leading up to the night before the wedding (due to last minute RSVP changes) and he was always responsive, kind and patient with me! Due to COVID they did not host their bridal showcase however we trusted that everything would go well. We did not have the opportunity to try any of the food before selecting anything and everything was delicious! Our guests all raved about the cocktail hour menu and the options to choose from at dinner - which were all so tasty! Our bridal attendant, Liz, was a meant to be fit for our wedding. I couldn’t imagine someone filling that position better than she did, she was a friend throughout the night and truly went above and beyond my expectations for a bridal attendant. She was so kind, attentive, caring and observant. Always one step ahead of everything else (in a good way!). I couldn’t have asked for a better bridal attendant by my side. The whole team at the venue that night out together a great event and ensured everything went smoothly for our special day! Everyone was constantly thinking and trying to do the best for us, including Christina when she thought outside the box for a cake “topper” which I loved her idea and appreciated the thought! I would definitely recommend Atlantis Banquets and Events for your next event, you won’t be disappointed.

I am giving them such a high ranking because although I was frustrated at the start of the postponement process, which was out of their control, when things began to reopen again and we decided to move forward, they could not have been more understanding and accommodating. They offered us every possible option when we decided to move forward, and any combination from a sit down dinner for 50 people in the ballroom to a cocktail party in the marina. Danny was incredible about making sure that we had anything we needed. The staff the night of was also on top of things the entire time. Again, I cannot say enough nice things about the staff here and how accommodating they were. Elizabeth was my attendant and she was remarkable. Our captain was on top of everything. They made sure that everything ran smoothly for us as well as for our guests. The food was phenomenal. We ended up doing a buffet style dinner instead of our originally planned sit down, and I am so happy we did. Their presentation was great, and everything they did was perfect. I am forever grateful to the great job they did for our special day. They made it even more memorable.

We have heard nothing but good feedback. The two bars were a hit, never a long wait. The staff the day of was friendly and made the day perfect. Would highly recommend on all fronts!

It's been about a month since the wedding and we are still getting compliments from our family and friends saying how kind the staff was, on the beautiful atmosphere and of course the food! We cannot thank Atlantis Banquets and Events enough to help in making our special day so magical. The backdrop of the ceremony, held on their lovely outdoor pavilion, was a stunning view of the Peconic river. The aquarium for the cocktail hour was amazing. The service was impeccable and the food was artfully prepared and simply delicious! The backdrop of gorgeous tanks of beautiful fish and exquisite architecture made it a such a unique and memorable evening. The reception space was absolutely gorgeous and the plated dinner, just delicious. From start to finish, everything was done to perfection. It was a most lovely and unforgettable evening.

ur reception in the sea star ballroom. This made the wedding a touch more expensive but it was absolutely worth it. We had full run of the entire place and did not have to worry about another wedding starting or finishing during ours. The guests at my wedding had a wonderful time and were blown away by the beautiful and unique venue. Everyone told us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to, we could not be more pleased. The staff building up to the day were absolutely wonderful. If you are looking to book your wedding at Atlantis Banquets and events ask for Joan. She was such a joy and really worked with us to put together a wonderful wedding. She was patient with me and answered all of my incessant questions and she was truly happy for Me and my husband. Joan feels like part of the family now ( I miss you, girl! ) Even the staff who were not involved with us directly were very helpful and accommodating. Sue and her assistant (?) Alicia worked with us to get the room block were super accommodating and helped me get more rooms added at the last minute. Everyone was so kind to us and friendly they really made us feel like family. The only disappointing part was the behavior of the bridal attendant on the day of my wedding, we were running behind schedule and she was very pushy and unpleasant. She rushed us from the minute she got to my suite all the way through to the reception. This made it very difficult to find moments just enjoy my wedding. Overall, we had a lovely time. The attendants behavior towards us was the only real blemish on the day. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience!

It was decorated like a winter wonderland which was created by Glenn from Prestige Events. He did an amazing job and was able to create the vision that my daughter and son-in-law had hoped for. The wait staff was amazing and the food was delicious.Marco...from Marco Photography & Video was our photographer and he was excellent!! He knows this venue and did a great job. Kevin was our D.J. from Absolute Entertainment and he did a fabulous job. We were all so pleased with our event and would highly recommend this venue!!

Also, the venue itself was just beautiful inside and out. Their detailing department was also very easy to work with and took everything into consideration that we may have wanted for the wedding. I can now officially say I have been on both sides of the experience. I knew going into this that not everything wouldn’t go according to plan & that expectations of "perfection" were far from reality & of course took as many measures as humanly possible in hopes to avoid those most commonly known. However knowing what I know & expectation I hold my myself & my team to as "the bride" I was extremely disappointed & disheartened with how my husband & I were treated on our wedding day. There are several factors that have resulted in my rating. I will only name a few. Instructions were neglected (not placing pens with our scrapbook resulted in no notes from our guests) Bustled my own gown as the BA did not know how & our bridal party had already joined cocktail. Matire 'D & BA were M-I-A leaving our photographers & party to navigate the Aquarium & attempt to manage where to go for our images with the animals it was a lovely little guessing game. Just before the ceremony we walked in circles trying to find where the bridal suite was within the Aquarium as we had never been shown where it was located. Not once did anyone on staff pop their heads in to check if we were okay if we needed anything prior to the ceremony perhaps we left something at the hotel needed hairspray, a bobby pin,or even a DRINK of water?The Atlantis team was so far behind with prepping the reception area that cocktail hour went over by 30 mins which means everything else would now be rushed. (Knowing this is a pitfall of being in the industry)We were 70 mins late before we even started the toast. It’s not as though everything was set up outside & a huge gray cloud came out of nowhere I was advised at NOON everything would be moved & adjusted... (Hmm... we can't be the first wedding ever here... or the first time it’s rained... can we?) I asked the BA "Can I please have a drink!?" That was the first & last I would see all night as not once was the groom or I checked on asked if we were OK or offered another beverage.The 2 bottles of Jameson we paid $66+ per bottle for as it was not included in any of the bar packages, & Atlantis wasn’t flexible with swapping or throwing 1 in for the groom were “gone”. In the event it did exist you'd think you'd see the bottle going down & place it to the side for the groom?No..Just me? Evidently we had a room captain? We met him once at the end of the night when everyone was looking for their envelopes which yes we still gave out undeservingly so even to spite standing within earshot of our bridal attendant speaking to our DJ (good friend & business partner) & hearing her say & I quote "This entire event has been a S#%* Show!" Ahh… Why yes little one it has been... Thank you & your colleagues for that. I will say although the Aquarium was aesthetically magnificent & the remainder of staff was attentive & did an adequate job (Waiter from Table 12 telling our family they were better off getting their own drinks from the bar as you were far too busy I didn't forget about you) I will say our guest had a wonderful time raved about the food & enjoyed a unique wedding venue experience & although the groom & I were not treated in the manner in which we had hoped, our items were returned back to us unwrapped broken & without care, we too had a lovely wedding day.

Caryn, who was so nice and always willing to answer questions we had. The day of the wedding we had Lori as our Maitre d and Jamie our bridal attendant. These two were the absolute best and I can’t thank them enough for all they did to make our special day so much better. Thank you Atlantis for making our wedding day the best day of our lives.

I cannot say enough nice things about these people, especially my bridal attendants, who helped me out with every little - and big - thing that happened throughout the day. The aquarium is one of our favorite places, as we had one of our first dates there, so we were very excited to get married there and it did not disappoint! We took photos with Java the sea lion and Pam the penguin - it was a fun part of the day. The food was exceptional - our guests especially loved the grilled cheese station and the mashed potato bar. They've worked to add in a lot of more modern twists for their cocktail hour which we loved. The tiered dessert trays and cordial/espresso bar were a hit. We had our formal reception in the main room of the aquarium and our guests couldn't believe how cool it was; everyone keeps telling us how much they love the venue we chose and said it was one of their favorite weddings they've attended. The venue itself helped to keep things lighthearted and fun throughout the evening.

Everyone during the wedding and even for weeks after the wedding kept telling me about how this wedding was the most unique and awesome wedding they’ve ever been to. Overall, my whole experience with the aquarium was magnificent and I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a classy yet very unique experience for their wedding day!

r wedding day the best day of our lives! We had our ceremony in the seastar lobby, cocktail hour in the aquarium, and reception in the seastar ballroom. We had over 200 guests and everyone fit comfortably in every area of the party. Our guests can't stop raving about how cool and different it was to be among all of the fish and animals during cocktail hour! Not only was the ambiance amazing, the food was exceptional! The bacon bar was a hit! The reception was beautiful and the food did not disappoint. My husband and I sampled the steak, pork, and chicken and all were cooked to perfection! Jayme was an outstanding bridal attendant and went above and beyond to make every second of the wedding perfect. If anything did go wrong, my husband and I had no idea! Everyone in the staff was professional and kind and treated not only our families like they were their own, but also all of our guests! We also had an after party where the food was unbelievable as well! The venue is breathtaking and our pictures came out beautiful because of it. Throughout the entire wedding process from the minute we booked the wedding up until the day of, the sales team and catering staff answered all of my questions and gave great advice to make the day special. I would recommend this venue to everyone I know if they are looking for an unforgettable experience for themselves and their guests.

He was always quick to answer an email and willing to show us around on more than one occasion, as my husband's family is from upstate and they were not able to attend our first walk-through. My bridal attendant, Ashley, was amazing. She always knew what I needed 5 minutes before I needed it! My maitre d', Lori, was on top of everything, and kept the whole event moving smoothly. She was wonderful to work with! And last, but not least, my captain, Carlos, was fun and energetic. He even helped my husband and I find a second to eat, which was perfect, because we would have forgotten otherwise! I cannot say enough positive things about this place. I just want to relive my wedding over and over again! I HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone who wants to try something a little different for their event! We love you guys, Atlantis Banquets & Events!!!!!!!!!!

. The table that offered the kebobs such as, chicken, shrimp, beef, and scallops was unimpressive picture this, little meat on kebabs with no vegetables all on a little hot plate. Every one i ate was either warm or cold with absolutely no taste!! Normally i would be going back for seconds and thirds. Instead I was praying I wouldn't throw up! The cold area was adequate. The bartending was excellent! The dinner salads was so small that I finished eating my salad in 2 bites. - main course buffet- the white rice that they served was not cooked. Yes not cooked!! Can you believe this? All the gust complained!! Maybe they thought we were going to throwing it at the Bride and Groom? Chicken was cold no taste and flat like a pancake Salmon- had taste but was very small, warm and overlooked. The short ribs was the only serving that had some taste to it. It was on par with an order at the Olive Garden. The best part of the meal was the ice cream bar. More Guests enjoyed that then the entrees! My advice would be to use this venue for a wedding but make sure you get a professional to cater it.

had a drink in our hands. The recommended dj/mc from Absolute kept everyone dancing. The flowers & centerpieces from Main street florist were beautiful. Our guests loved walking around inside & out around the venue. We had such a wonderful night.

They took care of the first look with hotel as well and made it extremely special!! Everything was perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better day! This place is NOT to be missed! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND having your wedding here!

e minimal and classy, just as I hoped. The staff waited on me and my husband all day, we always had a drink in our hands, and they made us our dinner plates and even packed up leftovers for us! Our maitre'd Lori had everything running smoothly from the order of my ceremony, to lining the bridal party up to be announced, to getting the right people for photos. My bridal attendant Ashley was perfect, she was never in my way but somehow popped up everytime I needed her. She helped me with my bustle, refilled my drinks, gave me water, everything. This was the best experience and I would reccommend anyone to get married here. Ashley even helped me and my husband to our hotel room with our gifts, envelopes, and leftovers. The staff were flawless. The planning process was also a piece of cake, Caryn and Bryan always responded in a timely manner and honored all of my wishes.

people, young and old, said it was the best wedding ever. Our wedding was detailed - I added a lot of things; favors in alphabetical order, things for each table, signs - I'm sure I was annoying in my details but they didn't bat an eye. Day of everything was exactly as we wanted it. The space is gorgeous. We had the ceremony in the Sea Star lobby with the grand staircase - walking down the staircase was such an awesome experience. Our reception was in the Sea Star Ballroom and out After Party was in the Aquarium itself. Our guests got a taste of the Aquarium upon arrival (the Manta Ray Tank) and then were amazed by the sharks and sea life after the reception. The food is outstanding! I'm a foodie and I loved my dinner and the appetizers I was able to try. Guests complimented the food a ton. We had the mini dessert hour, which included a huge array of cookies, pies, cakes, cordials and an ice cream sundae bar (another enormous hit) Bridal attendants, management and staff were available and easy to work with. Day of, there was always someone helping out and keeping us on track (and getting me drinks :) ) After the wedding everything was neatly packed up for us and brought to the Hyatt hotel next door. I can't thank Michelle, Caryn, Ashley, Lori and the staff at Atlantis enough for making our day so special!

would like to personally point out that the Hotel Sales Coordinator, Suzanne Lincoln, has gone above and beyond to accommodate my wedding hotel block at the Hyatt Place East End right next door. Even after my hundreds of emails, she was so professional & helpful! We are so happy and can't wait for the wedding in September!

ason as to why we chose this venue. However, prior to the wedding, we did have some issues in preparing for the wedding. Certain information should have been provided to us early (such as the fact that food favors are not allowed) and the venue is not cheap - unlike other venues that will charge you 1/3 for a child, this venue charges you 50% (for example). Also, unlike many venues, if you have folks who can't make the reception, they make you pay full price 8 days prior (many venues make you pay that day). They won't be giving you your money back, even if you've met their minimum. The "extra" amenities you may want are charged - good example of nickel and diming you. Be sure to really ask questions, and really read over your contract. But can't complain about the overall result - the food was incredible and the venue is very unique.
