They helped us plan and execute everything in less than 11 months, and they were there with us every step of the way - handling every detail with professionalism. I met with many vendors before deciding on Katie with Atlas and it was one of the best decisions I made throughout my wedding planning process. She knows what she is doing and is very direct while also feeling like you're working with a friend. Any suggestion she made ended up turning out great, and if there was any chance to negotiate on pricing or some way to save money she got creative and somehow managed to do so. My husband also loved working with her as did my family and our bridal party loved her as well. She will make you feel comfortable with the planning process by giving suggestions but also allows you to make decisions based on your vision. She made my mood board and hit the nail on the head without me being able to articulate exactly what my vision was. The perfect balance of getting things done but also always being calm.. I was honestly sad when the wedding day was over and we were no longer going to work together. Not to mention, her assistants on wedding day were amazing as well. Working with Chelsea at Atlas Design was hands down the BEST decision we could have made for our wedding. From the initial call with Chelsea to the end of our hectic wedding night, I always felt comfortable and taken care of. Chelsea is SO personable and sweet with the best taste. I felt like she took my vision to the next level and really listened to what I was looking for. Nothing felt too small for her which was an amazing feeling! Chelsea also had amazing vendor contacts and gave me great advice. The day of our wedding went so smooth because of Chelsea. Hiring Katie and Chelsea was hands down the best wedding decision we made. They struck the perfect balance of executing our vision and also making genius design suggestions that made our wedding day absolutely perfect. Katie kept us on track with all planning tasks with ease and professionalism, was easygoing, and had a great sense of humor the whole way through. She advocated for us but also treated all of the other vendors with kindness and respect, made immediate friends with all of our guests, and was so calm and collected throughout the entire process. I cannot say enough good things about Atlas Design Studio!!!!!!! Katie and Chelsea were incredible throughout the entire wedding planning process - from the initial design meetings to vendor recommendation & booking to executing of a flawless day-of event. And through it all, they kept myself and my fiancé at ease with their laid-back (but very professional & on top of things) vibes. We worked mostly with Katie, who was the perfect combination of easy-going & organized/take-charge/assertive. Yes, these do sound like contradictory traits, but Katie somehow manages to pull it off flawlessly! We got so much great guidance throughout the planning process about what things to splurge vs save on to stay within in our budget, connecting us with the right vendors, and planning the program of activities. While I don't think ANY wedding or big event ever goes off without any hitches or last-minute unforseen change-ups, Katie and her team managed it all SO well that we felt everything went perfectly. I cannot recommend this team enough, so do yourselves a favor and book them now!!!!!

TLDR: Atlas Design did an amazing job before and at my wedding - I can't recommend them enough! We are so thankful to have found Atlas Design to coordinate our wedding weekend at Gardener Ranch!  After speaking with many planning/coordination companies in the Carmel/Monterey area, I felt they were the best fit for us. Katie was patient with my many questions and even walked through the various levels of service/packages her team could provide to help us make an informed decision that fit our needs and was within our budget. We decided to move forward with the month-of coordination package. In short, after sourcing our vendors, I began to quickly feel overwhelmed - especially considering we were doing a 100+ person welcome dinner the night before. I reached out again to Katie and Chelsea to hire their services for welcome dinner coordination as well as additional planning support for the wedding day details. We primarily worked with Chelsea as our planner and coordinator who was so responsive throughout our entire time working together (whether through email, phone call, and as we got closer to the date, even text). I really appreciated her attention to detail. Moreover, Chelsea was always supportive of our vision, budget, and was very mindful in ensuring our preferences were considered in full. She raised all great points when we had to make decisions to ensure we thought things through. When sourcing our Welcome Dinner caterer, Chelsea reviewed multiple quotes and steered us in the right direction to ensure we stayed on track with budget (which I sometimes forgot about haha). It was also very helpful that Chelsea knows the vendors in Monterey/Carmel well and had lots of recommendation and tips based on her previous weddings. On the day of the wedding, Chelsea and her assistant showed up early, ensuring all aspects of the wedding were going to plan. She was a calm presence, but also took charge as needed which was greatly appreciated. Lots of people have opinions on the wedding day and you will need a point of contact to help step in. All our friends and family were so appreciative of the direction that Chelsea gave for the ceremony and felt confident in what they were supposed to do. I still remember sitting in the bridal suite waiting for the ceremony to start when my MIL's corsage completely broke. Chelsea quickly stepped in with her emergency kit and fixed it. It's little things like this that made a difference in the way our day went. On a larger note, the overall wedding day timeline and venue setup went perfectly to plan. Our guests could not stop raving about the great experience they had at the wedding - from the event flow to the right time allocated to each event, all played an important aspect in our guests experience.The best part for me was actually getting to dance and eat after dinner with our friends and family because I knew Chelsea had everything covered. For couples looking for a wonderful planning and coordination team, I cannot recommend Chelsea enough. If I could go back and do this all over again, the only thing I would change was hiring Atlas for their full planning and design services from the beginning of the process. Their professionalism, experience, and reputation in the industry is worth the investment. I know I was able to truly enjoy my wedding weekend because of them!

Our wedding day at Holman Ranch was a complete dream thanks to Chelsea and the Altas Design team!! We hired Chelsea shortly after securing our venue, and they were totally flexible over the course of the next year or so as we planned our wedding, and changed our minds on what we wanted on countless occasions in the process. Our meetings were always fun, stress-free, but at the same time organized and helpful. Chelsea is so friendly and easy to talk to, and was such a welcome calm presence the day of the wedding. Throughout the whole planning process, we looked forward to our meetings with Chelsea because she made us so excited for our wedding. She also struck a great balance between taking minor decisions off our plate while also allowing us to personalize the wedding to our own personality and vibe. We loved working with Atlas so much that we ended up adding services for our rehearsal dinner, which Chelsea coordinated without a hitch. A few moments before the rehearsal dinner, my (now) husband and I realized we had miscounted who was attending the dinner. Chelsea immediately fixed the table setup without any hesitation and without causing any stress. I truly do not know what we would have done without her. 10/10 would recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Katie! Like many other couples, we had to reschedule our 2020 wedding due to COVID. I did not have it in me to plan another wedding all on my own, so my husband and I hired Katie. She was a true professional through the entire process. Our wedding was far beyond our wildest dreams (and way better than anything I could have planned on my own)! I didn't really have a clear vision of what I wanted and had a hard time articulating what I was looking for. But Katie asked all the right questions and ran with my vague suggestions to put on a beautiful and memorable event. Our guests could not stop gushing about how stunning everything was and how seamlessly the night went. Katie remembered every detail and left absolutely nothing to chance. Yes, Katie and Chelsea are the best ever! From my perspective, as a parent of the groom, they did an outstanding job. They handled the challenges of the venue (a family property that is "rustic" and was built in the 1930's) and nothing was insurmountable. On the day of the wedding, they kept everyone on track and were calm and supportive of the wedding party, the vendors and the guests. It was an incredible celebration and they were an integral part of that. I highly suggest them for anyone planning the wedding of their dreams.

We felt so well taken care of by Katie and Chelsea from our first phone meeting to the conclusion of our absolute dream wedding day. They were professional, fun to work with, and clearly incredibly experienced. A few of their strengths that I wanted to highlight are: knowledge of local vendors, design skill, and flexibility. The vendors that they recommended and we ended up working with for the wedding were all phenomenal. They were a kind, hard-working, and experienced group that each added their own personal touch to make the wedding day feel magical. We can’t imagine having navigated this process without Katie and Chelsea’s input and expertise. After a single conversation about what our vision was for the wedding and visiting the wedding site once Katie and Chelsea designed a beautiful wedding layout that completely fit the natural beauty of the venue. Finally their flexibility was impressive. We had a few last minute additions to our guest list and changes to the plan for our ceremony which they integrated into the plan for the day seamlessly. Our venue was a private estate that had never hosted an event as big as ours. It took a lot of creativity to transform a family farm without potable water into a wedding venue for 100+ people, but they pulled it off without a hitch. We have so much to be thankful for after our amazing wedding and working with Katie and Chelsea is at the top of the list!

Choosing Katie as our Wedding planner was the single best decision I made in the wedding planning process. From the very beginning she was so down to earth, knowledgable and just so fun to work with. She is incredibly organized and well connected in the Carmel Valley area (we had our wedding at Gardener Ranch) which was critical when we were choosing vendors. She worked with us to create our budget and I felt like she really just understood what was important to us and where we wanted to heavily invest vs what didn’t matter (in our opinion). As we got deeper into planning, Katie did such a good job striking the balance between presenting us with options and allowing us to take the reins but also giving input, advice and executing where needed. There are so many small details that I deferred to her on because I trusted her so completely. The vision board that she created for our design felt like she had been in my brain- she took my assortment of Pinterest photos, email attachments and run on sentence explanations and came back with the most incredible mood board for the wedding. It was the first time I was truly excited about the very daunting process of planning a 200 person wedding in 9 months. Katie was so communicative, kept me on track and truly made the process a breeze. She was a huge advocate for us with vendors and I always felt like she really was doing everything to make sure we had the day we were looking for. The weekend of the wedding went off without a hitch, if anything went wrong (and I truly mean anything) it was handled before we even knew because we never noticed a thing. The design came together perfectly, our vendors were cohesive and great to work with and Katie kept everything on time. I absolutely loved working with Katie, she was so professional yet fun and positive and always kept things real. Everything was truly a dream and we are just so grateful! We cannot recommend her highly enough.

We hired Atlas Design for month-of planning and coordination, and when Chelsea stepped in we all breathed a big sigh of relief. I originally told myself I didn’t need a wedding planner, as I had most of the details worked out, but hiring Atlas was such a good decision. Chelsea helped us refine our timeline, managed final vendor communications, kept things running smoothly on the day-of, and provided expert advice throughout. Not only is she knowledgeable, she is also the sweetest! She was an advocate for us (the bride and groom) the whole day, making sure we took time to decompress, eat and drink, and enjoy! I would highly recommend Atlas to anyone planning a wedding!

Katie was a STAR on our wedding day and in the planning phase up until it. We utilized her to help with month-of planning and design support and I couldn't be happier that I did. I am Type A and have been a bridesmaid a dozen times so I knew what I needed to do generally, but having Katie as my main counsel for decision making and then turning over the reins the month before was a lifesaver. I was truly able to trust that she'd follow up on all details (correctly) and when we got to that month-of she was super detail oriented and responsive. Communication was #1 for me and I never felt like I had to chase her or wait for her reply. She is dependable and reliable while being easy going, detail-oriented and always has a smile on her face. I was able to be honest and direct with her and I also tried to find ways to save money and she was very helpful and resourceful in doing so. At the end of the day, Atlas will help bring the wedding of your dreams to life!! Couldn't recommend them more!

Katie was extremely helpful as we navigated making two of the biggest decisions in wedding planning – setting budget expectations and venue sourcing. When we originally reached out to Katie, we were newly engaged and didn’t know what to expect when planning a wedding. She answered our 5 million questions and emails so thoroughly and with so much patience and understanding. Although we didn’t end up hiring Atlas due to a change in location and our need for a local planner (we would have been a “destination wedding” for Atlas), we are so grateful to have found her and are so thankful for all of the help she gave us. Wedding planning can be stressful, but we always found a bright light with Atlas. If her pre-hiring communication is any indication of how she and her team works when they’re actually hired, I can’t imagine a better team looking after a wedding. We will be recommending Atlas to any of our future friends and family that get married in the area!

Chelsea helped make my wedding an absolute DREAM. She knew more about my wedding than I did. I worked with her from the very beginning right after being engaged. She and Katie had a full list of vendors they had worked with in the past and had great relationships with. This helped the day of run so smoothly because everyone knew each other! Chelsea is very talented in design. The look book she created for me and continued to tweak as we worked together was exactly what was delivered on my wedding day. Day of, nothing went wry, or if it did, Chelsea handled it expertly. I didn't have to worry about a single thing. I wish I could get married all over again so I could work with her again! Katie and Chelsea were extremely integral to our big day. We used Atlas for partial planning and let me tell you, it was the best investment in ensuring that things ran smoothly. From my indecisiveness, to my extreme type-A, overly controlling personality, Katie came through each and every time throughout planning. Her attention to DETAIL and COMMUNICATION are unmatched, and I had full trust that she could handle anything that came our way. Fast forward to wedding day, Katie and Chelsea made everything S E A M L E S S. Did we have a perfect wedding? We sure did. Did things go wrong? I don't even know because if they did, it was handled and I never heard about it. Not to mention, they are THE MOST prepared. I'm so sad that our wedding is over and I can't continue to bother Katie and Chelsea. They were so great that even our guests came up to tell us they loved our planners. You will not be disappointed if you hire Atlas, they will come through for you, you will have an amazing event, and you will want to be BFFs with them, FOREVER. My only regret is not asking Katie to bring her adorable dog, Jax to any of our meetings. If you are on the fence about which planners to use, take this as a sign that Atlas is THE ONE. I had interviewed three different wedding coordinators/planners before settling on Atlas. I could not recommend them enough! Chelsea was our coordinator and is incredible. From the moment we met at our walkthrough at Holman Ranch, up until the day after our wedding, she was wonderful. I had so many questions and she answered all of them (over email, texting and phone calls) so quickly. I get easily stressed and was so worried about everything but when Chelsea and I started working together, I completely let go and trusted her. So many people were asking me the week leading up to the wedding how stressed I was and I am proud to say that I wasn't really stressed at all because Chelsea had everything handled. She was constantly checking in on me and asking me before making any decisions. The day could not have gone any smoother, it was truly perfect. I even had so many guests coming up to me the day of and next day telling me how beautiful and wonderful the wedding was and that it was the best one they had been to! We hired Katie as my month of wedding planner but she went beyond that role and would help me at any point throughout the planning process. I was a "COVID bride" and had to go through the devastating process of postponement. She was so supportive and reassuring. It also helped that she was in the same position as me, which allowed us to connect on a personal level. She is organized, detail oriented and very easy to get along with. My venue was brand new with no added anything. Katie was very good at providing direction when needed and knew all the right questions to ask the venue to make my wedding turn out exactly as imagined. Katie is an amazing planner!!! She was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process (which ended up being 2 years with Covid!!!). She handled everything leading up to the wedding so I could just enjoy the process. On the day of the wedding I was blown away with how beautifully everything she had designed came together. Hiring Katie was 100% the best decision I made when planning my wedding. She is AMAZINGLY GOOD at what she does! Her cool, calm, and cheerful nature made all the difference throughout the process and on the big day. She kept me grounded when we were working through the nitty gritty details and got me really truly excited about the big picture with her design choices and direction. I had to plan my wedding in two months and I soon realized I was not super woman and couldn’t do it all on my own. That’s when I found Katie. She was absolutely AMAZING!!! She took stress and small details off of my shoulders which allowed for more time to myself to actually enjoy the process with my now husband. I initially didn’t think we needed a planner. In hindsight I have no clue what we would have done without Katie. As soon as we hired Katie she hit the ground running. She is extremely friendly, professional, detail oriented, and has great connections. She consistently pointed out valuable logistical details we were missing and even helped with emotional hurdles (i.e. my Uncle insisting we put pink sandbags down on the altar). There are so many tiny details that Katie nailed and we had multiple guests comment on how “nothing went wrong” and how the wedding “was so organized!” I know that was a result of Katie’s hard work and effort. Overall, I can’t recommend her highly enough! She was a perfect addition to our wedding planning team and greatly enhanced our wedding day!

I could not have asked for a better day-of coordinator for our wedding at Holman Ranch in Carmel. Prior to getting married, I honestly did not feel I would need to hire a wedding planner, as I am kind of a perfectionist and had a very particular vision and spent months planning every detail of my wedding. However, I can genuinely say that looking back, hiring Katie as my wedding planner for the month leading up to my wedding was probably one of the most important and critical elements to making our day so special, effortless, and stress free. Katie’s attention to detail, organization, and professionalism in dealing with vendors is so valuable in the wedding planning process. Her knowledge of the wedding industry, vendor connections, negotiating contracts, and invaluable experience coordinating countless weddings was so valuable. In hindsight, I wish we had her with us along the entire planning process.
