TLDR: Atlas Design did an amazing job before and at my wedding - I can't recommend them enough!
We are so thankful to have found Atlas Design to coordinate our wedding weekend at Gardener Ranch! After speaking with many planning/coordination c...ompanies in the Carmel/Monterey area, I felt they were the best fit for us. Katie was patient with my many questions and even walked through the various levels of service/packages her team could provide to help us make an informed decision that fit our needs and was within our budget. We decided to move forward with the month-of coordination package.
In short, after sourcing our vendors, I began to quickly feel overwhelmed - especially considering we were doing a 100+ person welcome dinner the night before. I reached out again to Katie and Chelsea to hire their services for welcome dinner coordination as well as additional planning support for the wedding day details.
We primarily worked with Chelsea as our planner and coordinator who was so responsive throughout our entire time working together (whether through email, phone call, and as we got closer to the date, even text). I really appreciated her attention to detail. Moreover, Chelsea was always supportive of our vision, budget, and was very mindful in ensuring our preferences were considered in full. She raised all great points when we had to make decisions to ensure we thought things through. When sourcing our Welcome Dinner caterer, Chelsea reviewed multiple quotes and steered us in the right direction to ensure we stayed on track with budget (which I sometimes forgot about haha). It was also very helpful that Chelsea knows the vendors in Monterey/Carmel well and had lots of recommendation and tips based on her previous weddings.
On the day of the wedding, Chelsea and her assistant showed up early, ensuring all aspects of the wedding were going to plan. She was a calm presence, but also took charge as needed which was greatly appreciated. Lots of people have opinions on the wedding day and you will need a point of contact to help step in. All our friends and family were so appreciative of the direction that Chelsea gave for the ceremony and felt confident in what they were supposed to do. I still remember sitting in the bridal suite waiting for the ceremony to start when my MIL's corsage completely broke. Chelsea quickly stepped in with her emergency kit and fixed it. It's little things like this that made a difference in the way our day went. On a larger note, the overall wedding day timeline and venue setup went perfectly to plan. Our guests could not stop raving about the great experience they had at the wedding - from the event flow to the right time allocated to each event, all played an important aspect in our guests experience.The best part for me was actually getting to dance and eat after dinner with our friends and family because I knew Chelsea had everything covered.
For couples looking for a wonderful planning and coordination team, I cannot recommend Chelsea enough. If I could go back and do this all over again, the only thing I would change was hiring Atlas for their full planning and design services from the beginning of the process. Their professionalism, experience, and reputation in the industry is worth the investment. I know I was able to truly enjoy my wedding weekend because of them!
