Jennifer was an amazing month of coordinator! She made sure everything was organized, and that all of the things that needed to get done were checked off throughout the day. She met with us multiple times to talk through things leading up to the wedding, and helped us get into contact with vendors when needed. Our wedding day ran so smoothly, and if anything went wrong I never heard about it! She was a rockstar and made our wedding day such a success!!

Not super on top of things
First off, the gal we had for day-of coordination (Amanda) was great and did the best she could with what she had. That being said, we didn’t meet her until the day o,f so all of this stems from the owner, Jennifer.
After interviewing a few different coordinators, we decided to go with ATX for our wedding coordinator. At first, everything seemed really great. Her document was well organized and she had a solid list of recommended vendors.
We noticed things started slipping through the cracks as we got closer to the wedding month. Things we had asked about in emails had gone unanswered or were forgotten. When she did the seating chart, she didn’t even have the right amount of tables that we asked for. She also left off some of the tables we had asked for, like the heirloom table. Additionally, she had the map upside down for part of our venue, and insisted it was right instead of double checking her work. Fine, everyone is human and makes mistakes.
The real kicker for us is that we hired her to do our florals as well, and she didn’t fulfill the quote she provided us. She gave us an initial ballpark quote, and then we solidified with a new document what she would do. It’s clear that she went with the first document. As our wedding coordinator, we expected her to at least be on top of her own contracts.

anda attended and coordinated your rehearsal. But you mentioned that you did not meet her until wedding day. I provided a sample layout 6 weeks before your guest count was finalized and 2 weeks before we met at the venue to go over where you wanted each item. On your final layout, all tables, chairs, games, etc were present and correct. Lastly, we provided florals based on the dated and executed floral contract that we had with you.

It took me a while to decide if I wanted to write this because I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I want people to know what they’re getting into!
Every time we talked, it was because I initiated it. Even the week of, day before, day of our wedding she did not reach out. She offered no support and only answered very basic questions when on calls that I had set up. She did offer some helpful PDFs but ultimately during the planning process I was very on my own.
While I thought this was weird, I figured maybe day of coordination was more of her focus. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The signs I made for our bar were not put out, she told people to set up chairs “just however” even though I provided a detailed floor plan, our welcome sign was splattered with mud and no attention to detail was present at all. Thankfully, our groomsmen and bridesmaids stepped in and set things up beautifully but my groom was even directing the day as our planner did not step up appropriately. I hear others having this issue before, and addressed it with her and she said this was because they were disorganized. When I asked her how I can best organize to make sure all of my decoration, signs, details etc were executed well she offered little to no guidance. Still, I made sure my boxes were all labeled clearly and everything was organized by table number, bar area, welcome table etc. Despite this, many things were not taken care of / forgotten.
I will say she was nice when we talked and did direct some of set up and shut down, but ultimately people let me know that they did not receive support and I left this situation feeling like I paid for the thought that someone was helping, but did not actually receive support the day of.

ion on your wedding day that there were issues. You and Danny thanked me several times at the end of the night and hugged me.
I’ve looked at our emails, and I emailed several times for meetings and had half a dozen with you, Danny, your MOH, Trinity and Harley-and dozens of text messages. I wish you had let me know these issues you mentioned via phone, text or email so that I could address them. I’ve also reviewed wedding day notes from your production schedule print out and I’ve noted the biggest issues below.
You’re wedding was at UMLAUF Sculpture Gardens, an all outdoor venue in which we had 1.5 hours total from when venue access began until guests began to arrive ON the day of the solar eclipse. This gave us 1.5 hours total for set up of ceremony and reception. Your caterer, a restaurant that the Groom manages did not complete set up of ceremony chairs or reception tables and chairs. You advised me many times before the wedding that the Groom and Groomsman would be setting these up. This allowed VERY little time for setting up your décor because they all also had to get dressed for the wedding in that very short time frame and we could not begin set up until tables were placed.
Your guest tables were bud vases and votive candles, with ceramic fortune cookie escort cards. All bud vases and flowers had to be unpacked, flowers cut, vases filled with water, etc-and there were at least 100 of these. The other extremely time-consuming problem is that all of the guest names that needed to be placed inside each ceramic fortune cookies were combined into 1 baggie. Not sorted, alphabetized, etc. So, I had to take 105 tiny strips of paper and find each guests name to sort them before they could be placed. Even then, several guests asked to be moved to other tables or moved themselves.
Then, there was a rain shower. All of the venues padded seat, chivari chairs had been placed in the uncovered ceremony area. I let Danny’s brother know that it would begin raining soon and the venue manager was very upset that their chair cushions were going to get wet. He told me ‘I helped put the chairs out and after that, they are not my problem’ and walked away to speak to Danny.
UMLAUF is a venue that requires caterers to put away ceremony chairs and then at the end of the night, put ALL tables and chairs into their storage container. Catering refused to do this. Every time I let them know something that we had coming up, they would go talk to the Groom about it-because he was their friend and boss. The venue manager even swept the ceremony area because catering would not do this. I have 23 emails with Harley and she and I also had a phone meeting. UMLAUF management also advised they were given a catering requirement check list.

Jennifer coordinated our wedding and did a great job of organizing our vendors, setting decorations, and keeping us to our timeline. Our venue had a pretty small window in which we could have our ceremony and reception, so it was important that Jennifer kept us moving along! She also handled our florals, which turned out gorgeous. We were on a tight budget, and her prices were very reasonable. Throughout the whole process, she was responsive to all inquiries and requests.

Our coordinator, Ella, was nothing short of an angel. She took care of everything immediately, went straight to work once she arrived & didn’t stop until she was gone! She took lead on everything, just asking a quick question if needed & then figured it out on her own. Once it came to reception my husband and I were taken care of all night! She always checked in, made sure we had fresh drinks & were having a great time. If I could change anything it’d be having more planning time with the company pre- wedding just to ease my stress, I think we only spoke 3x, but once Ella got there I knew I didn’t have to worry about anything. Highly recommend!!!

Working with Jennifer prior to the actual wedding day was great. We had great communication and she was very helpful getting our timeline locked down for the day of. Ella was our Day Of Coordinator and she was nothing short of incredible. Once she got there she took over and had everything moving smoothly throughout the entire evening. I'm unsure what we would have done without her. She made sure my wife and I were always doing good and had a drink in our hands if needed. Kept us on time throughout all the festivities. I would HIGHLY recommend having her be the coordinator of anyone's event.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Ella for the Cowan's wedding, and I must say, she was an exceptional coordinator! Ella was extremely detail-oriented and kept our photo and video team organized and updated throughout the event.
Not only that, but she went above and beyond by handing out towels to the bride and groom to ensure they looked and felt their best for the photos and video. Ella even provided water to keep everyone cool during the family and wedding party portraits.
Her positive attitude and warm smile made her approachable and easy to work with, and she was always available to answer any questions we had. As a photographer and filmmaker who covers 15-20 weddings per year, I have worked with many coordinators.
I would love to work with Ella and ATX again in the future. Thank you all for being such a pleasure to work with!

I think everyone else that gave a two star review has said everything that I experience with Jennifer. I was extremely disappointed with the service. She did smell like cigarettes, and had on leggings and a faded black T-shirt not personable at all. I rented several things from her website, including table numbers, linens ( wrinkle ) That we talked about. She definitely send me the Venmo charge for the items. The linens were wrinkled till, this day my pictures are ruined because of that, if my husband wouldn’t have brought numbers for the tables, we wouldn’t had anything. She also placed the numbers on the wrong tables. My sister said she seemed hungover and not present. I’m writing this review so no one else has to go through that

d at saw the 3 truck loads of personal decor that was brought it was a bit overwhelming. We had discussed personal decor items and none of these were mentioned. So this left me racing around trying to determine what these things were and where you wanted them. All of the table numbers that I provided (I'm not sure why you would buy these and also rent them, but I did not see any that you provided) were placed on the tables according to the layout that we had. There were no issues with guests finding their seats.
There was an issue with 6 linens having creases because I was forced to use the linens that I had just purchased for another event. This was because the linens that I provided to you on the previous evening, were not returned.
I apologize if I did not seem present. You mariachis were late and once they arrived, were unaware they were to play for the processional and were not provided a song so we resolved this, then, I had to go back and forth with them because they had not been paid. After receiving no answer for our production schedule meetings and you still securing and finalizing with vendors just 2 weeks prior, it was pretty hectic day of.

Jennifer and her team coordinated my wedding in May 2023. Leading up to the wedding, Jennifer was awesome! She was available any time by phone, email, and text. She listened to my concerns and answered all of the questions I had. We had a shared Google Doc where all the details of the wedding, including pictures, were documented. Jennifer had let us know that we would have a different day-of coordinator for the actual wedding. That was fine with us; we appreciated the heads up and as long as the day-of coordinator (Ella) was in contact with Jennifer and had access to the Google Doc, everything should have been great. However, a breakdown in communication must have occurred because on the day of the wedding Ella arrived and did not seem to know what was going on. This ranged from what the table centerpieces were supposed to look like to questions such as who would take the alcohol at the end of the night (which was inputted into the document). It seemed she had not reviewed the Google Document and instead had to come to me and my fiancé the morning of the wedding to ask us questions that we had already discussed and inputted into the document. Unfortunately, this caused us more stress and anxiety as well as my mom who had to step in and help. The evening ran smoothly which I know was due to Ella and we were grateful, however I wish she had reviewed the document so she did not have to keep coming up to my fiancé, myself, and my maid of honor throughout the night asking questions. Overall, it was a beautiful day and I appreciated the work Jennifer and Ella did for us. But, my main piece of feedback would be that details about the wedding need to be communicated from Jennifer to the day-of coordinators and access to the Google Document needs to be shared prior to the morning of the wedding so everyone is on the same page.

Jennifer was absolutely wonderful! She took the reins about 2 months out and made me feel extremely comfortable heading into the week of our wedding. For someone who is a control freak, it is very hard for me to depend on someone else but I knew my wedding day was the one time that I needed to. I was not disappointed and boy was it nice to just enjoy my day, stress free and get to focus on having fun. Jennifer executed the timeline seamlessly. Every vendor was on time, announcements were made without hiccups, Jennifer made sure to grab us food and drinks and pulled us away for cake cutting and sunset pictures to stay on schedule. She did both wedding coordination and flowers for us and both were perfect! If your someone like me who wants beautiful florals without the heavy markup Jennifer is your girl! She arrived ahead of time ensuring she had enough time to set up florals and decor before guests started arriving. The entire night from beginning to end was just perfect. We got so many compliments at our wedding about how wonderful everything looked and came together. Thank you Jennifer!!

Let me start by saying that I’m an easy-going and understanding person. I have never been overly critical or demanding, and I never leave negative reviews. However, I feel it is necessary to provide honest feedback regarding my overall experience with ATX Wedding Planners.
Jennifer was contracted for the floral and month of coordination packages. The florals were absolutely beautiful, but the coordination services provided were subpar.
During our planning sessions, we decided on a ceremony start time of 4:00 pm, with pre-ceremony photos starting between 2:00 and 2:30 pm. As vendors were finalized, we provided all contact information via the shared Google doc, as requested. We received several updates from Jennifer, stating that all vendors were contacted and all arrival times were confirmed. Two weeks before the wedding I received a message from the hair/makeup vendor confirming their arrival time of 12:00 pm, only two hours before photos were scheduled. I asked the hair/makeup vendor if they could arrive earlier to make sure we were able to meet the timelines sent by the coordinator. They stated that the coordinator never reached out to them with a timeline. Due to the last minute communication from me, and the lack of communication from Jennifer, they were unable to accommodate an earlier arrival time.
Jennifer stated multiple times that she would be arriving early to set up the floral arrangements. The first time I saw Jennifer was over an hour after her scheduled arrival time, and only ~15 minutes before my first look with my dad was supposed to take place. She then left the bridal suite and did not come back until ~ 2:50, when the photographer chased her down and asked her to come upstairs to the bridal suite. By this time, we were very far behind schedule as the first look was scheduled at 2:30 and the first touch was scheduled at 2:45. This set the tone for the rest of the day.
We also stated that the dress attire for our wedding was dressy casual. Jennifer showed up in what appears to be leggings and a black T-shirt. If she arrived early to assist with set up and decorations I would understand, but that was not the case. The few times I did see Jennifer, she had a strong odor of cigarette smoke and guests said they noticed her outside smoking throughout the night.
Overall, we were pleased with the florals that were provided and would recommend those services. However, the coordination services provided were very disappointing and did not align with the services outlined in the contract. Several family members asked why we didn’t hire a wedding coordinator for our wedding day, and were shocked when we said our coordinator was actually there assisting. The only reason we made it through the day was because our photographer was amazing and essentially doubled as our day of coordinator since Jennifer was seemingly absent throughout the day.
After reading some of the reviews online and reviewing the coordination contract, I felt reassured that we would receive all of the services we needed despite the lower price point. However, this is a prime example of “you get what you paid for.” For all brides looking for a month-of or day-of coordinator, save yourself the headache and spend the extra money on a more professional wedding coordinator that will help make your day stress free.

To begin, I will forward you the email that I received from GlamCo in which they confirmed their time of arrival and receipt of the timeline. Pre Ceremony photos include getting ready photos, detail shots, etc. This is what began at 2:00.
Coordination is for an 8 hour block. My time per your production schedule was 1:00pm-12:00am as your Grand Exit was scheduled for 11:00pm. I arrived at the venue at 12:53pm. It was 108 degrees on your wedding day with a heat index of nearly 120 degrees.
Upon arrival, I unloaded all florals (bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, cake flowers, aisle chair flowers, your sweetheart table arrangement and arbor arrangement), along with my wedding bag, floral box and 8’ ladder. Then, I drove to the parking lot to park so that I was not in front of the building. I then added additional water to all of the florals that would be outside, greeted your photographer, the venue manager and your DJ. I then showed your DJ where to set up for both ceremony and reception. Afterwards, I came to the bridal suite. You were having makeup done at this time. The time was 1:47. You’re first look with your Father was at 3:17. I’m sure that you noticed me carrying a clip board the duration of the day/night. I note EVERYTHING on your production schedule.
At 3:02, I was standing atop an 8’ ladder hanging your arbor arrangement and a woman came outside to let me know that you had asked for me. 30 seconds later, as I completed attaching the arbor arraignment, climbed down, and began to reenter the building, the photographer told me the same thing. That you had asked for me. I immediately came back to the bridal suite, where you had put on the petticoat for your dress, but not the dress itself. This is when you handed me 1st Corinthians signage for the ceremony area (that we had not previously discussed). Of course, we can not complete a first look when the Bride is not in her dress. Your photographer and I both agreed that we had time to wait for you to get dressed versus rushing you. With your grandmother being late, your officiant arriving late at 3:54 we still started ceremony only 4 minutes late.
Regarding my attire. While I realize that your caterer were family friends/guests, and you had no staff at your wedding, professional catering or staffers generally wear all black at events. While I find it ridiculous to even explain, my pants were a polyester and cotton blend with a flare leg. 2 pockets in back and 2 in the front. Very clearly they were not leggings. I do also wear a longer black tee. I also wear black shoes-not that these were mentioned. I have coordinated over 400 weddings and have never had a bride blink at what I have worn.
I am honestly a bit insulted that you noted I was ‘absent throughout the day’. I was, in fact, not invisible when I came to the bridal suite 4 times total before the ceremony, pinned boutonnieres, when I released the processional, brought your wedding party and immediate family water twice during cocktail hour, brought everyone appetizers during photos, got each of you drinks from the bar twice and brought them to you, made your dinner plates and brought them to you , ran the entire timeline for the entire reception, advised the DJ when to make announcements-all the way through the end of the night clean up when I was the last vendor out of the venue.
I realize that you were upset that the evening ended early. After 8:30, there were just 18 guests that had not left. Had there not been rented transportation through 4Leaf Limos, I would have suggested potentially ending earlier than we did. But after calling them (even before Zach asked), they could not arrive earlier.

Jennifer who coordinated our wedding, provided decor, and was our florist did an outstanding job from months before the ceremony until l the end of our reception. She did all the setup of our reception hall and ceremony site. She did a great job talking with all the vendors we hired so everyone was on the same page for the day of the wedding. During our actual wedding day she made sure everything went smoothly and was very helpful. She even brought us snacks and drinks from inside during our post ceremony photo shoot. I would give her 6 stars if I could. She was incredibly kind, professional and joy to work with. She ensured our day was as stress-free as possible. We are beyond grateful for all her hard work. We highly recommend her to anyone getting married in Central Texas.

ATX Wedding Planner was amazing!! Jennifer was so on top of everything. A month before the wedding, we had a planning call that was only about 30 minutes, and it took like 90% of the weight off my shoulders. She knows exactly what to ask and what to do. On the day of my wedding, she was on time and went straight to work. She popped in to say hi but mostly stayed away and worked to set everything up. If something was going wrong, I would not have known because she let me just be happy and enjoy my day of which is what I prefered. I walked into the venue after the cocktail hour and was blown away she did such an amazing job. PS she does flowers too!!

Jennifer was absolutely wonderful! I cannot recommend her enough. She worked with all of the vendors prior to the wedding to ensure they had all of the information they needed. On the day of the wedding she was everything you'd want from a planner. She was attentive, calm, in tune with everything that was going on and had everything running seamlessly and on time. She took care of so many behind the scenes details that allowed us and our family to be more present and enjoy the day. She also provided our florals which were absolutely stunning (in addition to be being very reasonably priced). Jennifer is a pro - truly, without too much time spent up front, she handled every detail and exceeded our expectations.

I typically don’t leave reviews, however after receiving (unsolicited) feedback from multiple wedding guests, I feel it’s important to let other future brides know of my very frustrating and negative experience with this company. My (now) husband and I spoke with Jennifer multiple times prior to the wedding; she was patient, detail oriented, and organized. Last minute, I learned that it would be a member of the team, Belinda, working with us on our wedding day. I had not spoken to her (email or otherwise) prior to the day of. Initially, I noticed Belinda had an old print out of details/coordination, and had to take her through the corrections before walking down the aisle. She then led the bridal group to the groom, despite us not having a first look (thankfully, I was saved as the MOG noticed her son was there before I walked in). There was no coordination between her and the DJ, no one was aware of first dances, cake, and other events. Whenever anyone asked Belinda a question, she did not know the answer. When my dress ripped, she was no where to be found. The guest book was signed by only a couple people, as guests were not directed to it. There are so many more examples of her lack of guidance and help throughout our evening. If it had not been for our families and the photographer helping to coordinate and organize, guests would have been incredibly confused. There was no assistance from this coordinator the day of, exactly what we had planned and paid for. Unless you want these tasks to fall on your family, do not use this company.

to address each of your concerns. I am a little confused that you noted being unaware that Belinda would be coordinating because we discussed this and it was noted on your production schedule and client contract. Going forward, I will try to emphasize the assigned coordinator several times as this can not always be me.
I will also advise Belinda to print each production schedule the night prior to ensure any last minute updates are caught.
Regarding the issue of your dress ripping but not having details, Belinda may have been able to provide a safety pin, but would not be able to repair a ripped dress. We also can not force guests to sign a guest book. We can encourage them to do so but I took a look at your layout, and your guest book was placed between the dance floor and the bar. This area gets a ton of traffic so I can not say why guests did not sign in.
Your venue, the LBJ Wildflower Center is a bit different than most. With access time beginning at 4pm and guests arriving at 5:30, coordination has 1.5 hours for set up that can only begin once catering sets all ceremony chairs, cocktail hour tables and reception guest/welcome/cake tables. Your particular caterer also provided linens for these tables.
Were you made aware that the catering truck broke down on the way to the venue?
Ideally you were not made aware of this the day of. We were made aware of this at 4:10pm on wedding day. This created an even bigger time crunch to get everything set prior to guests arrival. In a 45 minute to 1 hour span, your coordinator and caterer placed 110 ceremony chairs, 13 guest tables, 4 bars total (2 for cocktail hour, 2 for reception), a sweetheart table, cake, welcome, and gift table. Placed linens on all. Placed full place settings and all decor on each table. If Belinda seemed a bit stressed, she probably was with such an unforeseen circumstance, like the catering truck breaking down.

My wedding coordinator from Atx was excited for me and very accommodating on my wedding day. I appreciated her positive attitude so much! Amanda made sure that my day was exactly what I wanted. She worked well with all my vendors and handled every little issue that came up. If you're on the fence about hiring a coordinator, let me tell you it is worth every dime! I didn't have to expend any thought on my day - I just enjoyed it. You really can't put a price on that peace of mind.

Planning a wedding can be stressful, but a good wedding coordinator alleviates so much of that! I am grateful to have found Jennifer to help me with my month of coordination.
From day one, Jennifer sent me an extremely detailed Google Doc that helped me think through all the questions for each vendor category. She was super responsive via email/text and answered every question I had. When we attended the venue walkthrough, she took notes on her laptop! I was so impressed by her professionalism.
On the day of, she helped set up and maintain the flow of the wedding. She was able to effectively get people from point a to point b, which was extremely important to me. She was an integral part of making our big day so successful!
Jennifer also provides rentals (linens, cake cutting set, cake stand, etc) at a fraction of the price of the big rental companies!
I highly recommend Jennifer to any brides looking for help on their big day!

Jennifer and Amanda did an AMAZING job in coordinating our wedding. They are so kind, timely and professional with their communication which made us feel at ease leading up to, and during, our big day. About a month prior to the wedding, Jennifer set a weekly schedule to go over the details of our wedding and to fully understand the vendors that were involved. She went above and beyond in coordinating that all vendors had a schedule of the wedding prior to. When we arrived at the venue, everything was on point, from flowers to dinner seating, and even our musicians. Amanda was extremely pleasant to work with on the day of, and she was very kind in helping all guests move according to schedule. Ella made sure our wedding day went 100% perfectly, and also that we were taken care of throughout the day with beverages, snacks, etc. (she even brought food to us at the beginning of the dinner service to make sure we ate and didn't have to stand in line with guests). Jennifer did an AMAZING job. Her pre-wedding questionnaire was incredibly thorough and even made us think of some details we had forgotten about! She coordinated our crazy families well during the rehearsal and she even helped my dad unload decorations/dishes from the truck when the caterer refused. Still being somewhat new to Austin, I had no knowledge of what vendors to reach out too. I relied 100% on the reviews I saw on The Knot and that is how I came across ATX Wedding Planners. From the very start through the very end, Jennifer has been such a pleasure to work with. Although we never got to officially meet in person until the actual wedding day, she's been great to work with! Welcoming, friendly, warm and professional. Any questions I had or suggestions I needed, she was there to help me along the way. She also provides floral services, wedding rentals, additional staff to hire, and has very affordable prices. It's your one-stop shop for all your needs which made it so much easier for me. My floral arrangements and bouquets were beautiful and is exactly what I was looking for. I also want to give a shout-out to Amanda and Ella whom also helped coordinate the wedding! Despite some of the issues we had with other vendors and things didn't go as we had planned, Amanda constantly checked-in with us to make sure we were doing ok, made sure we always had drinks in our hands LOL ( which we loved by the way!) being on top of the vendors and making sure the timeline and schedule kept flowing. And Ella, thank you for helping coordinate the wedding rehearsal with our officiant Linda especially due to such a large wedding party and helping with the florals!

We hired Jennifer and her team to coordinate our special day, and then we discovered that she also does grazing tables (which is what we wanted to do for our wedding dinner). Ella ended up being our day-of coordinator, and she was an absolute dream. It was a small affair (about 50 guests), but I was still feeling a bit stressed thinking about everything that needed to come together the day-of. I was running late getting ready that day, but when I got to the venue, everything was already set up and running smoothly! She made sure that we didn't need to lift a finger, which made it possible for us to simply sit back and enjoy the moment. Jennifer set up and served our grazing table (which was gorgeous and delicious!), and she was kind enough to make plates for both my husband and I beforehand. The stress I had been feeling that morning immediately melted away. I really can't imagine the day without them.

Can’t imagine my wedding night being as great as it was without Jennifer and her team. Everything was smooth, I had no worry the day of.
One special moment was when her team brought us appetizer plates since we were not able to join cocktail hour by taking pictures but we were really looking forward to those appetizers. Totally professional, totally calm in the face of any annoyance or chaos, and really kept our wedding reception moving along. I thought that we could handle wedding planning on our own, but Jennifer really helped to organize and provide direction during the planning process. Her recommendations and advice were absolutely spot on! She was also really patient with us when making decisions on the smaller details. Jennifer was absolutely INCREDIBLE. She was the day of coordinator for my wedding and also provided the (gorgeous) flower arrangements. I would not recommend using ATX Wedding Planner services. We had a hugely unprofessional experience on our wedding day to the point that both sides of the wedding party and several guests made comments. We hired ATX Wedding Planner for day-of services, as our venue required that at a minimum and we had already planned all aspects of the wedding and hired other vendors. We were not copied on emails in the two weeks prior to our wedding, so we were not quite sure what was stated/who exactly had already been contacted/etc., which resulted in duplication of efforts. The week of our wedding, no one on Jennifer's team at all reached out to us. I actually had to contact Jennifer the day before our wedding to confirm if we needed to purchase certain items ourselves for the next day; I would have appreciated a little more follow up as confirmation rather than just hope that she showed up. Then, the day of, with an hour before the ceremony, there was still no one onsite, so I reached out to Jennifer. Instead of Jennifer arriving, it was another employee named Adriana who actually showed up and had zero clue about any details of our wedding. She had a print out that she flipped through and was completely overwhelmed. The wedding party had to assist her with all details and sadly our officiant was more helpful during the entire evening. By the end of the night, we had not seen her in over an hour, we "hoped" that all had been gathered and placed on shuttles, and since then, we have never heard any follow up for feedback. Thankfully, there were no huge issues on our day, but we sincerely regret spending money on services that were frankly not provided.

na. The biggest thing that struck me in your review was "thankfully there were no huge issues on our day".
The most important job of a Coordinator is to ensure the Bride does not know of any issues. Beyond the logistics and necessity of implementing a rain plan on your day to to severe storms, Adriana worked with catering who did not have a meal for you Officiant (she ensured he received one). Adriana successfully adjusted your timeline after toasts ran extremely long. At approximately 9:30, your DJ let her know that he would be leaving 30 minutes prior to the end of your reception. She convinced him to stay until the end of the night. If she seemed 'completely overwhelmed', please understand that she was not only running your day, but also solving these various issues so that you wouldn't have to. This is why you believe there were no issues on your day.
You noted that you were not contacted the week or or cc'd on emails the 2 weeks prior. I did not reach out the weekend prior because you let me know that you were traveling to Houston for the mehndi and I believed that is also when you were having your 300+ person Houston wedding. Prior to that, I personally set up and scheduled your hair and makeup appointments and we discussed via email 5/13 and 5/14. I also have emails between the two of us and catering 5/7 and 5/13. We completed your final production schedule meeting on 5/12,
You texted me the day before your wedding to ask if you needed to buy sparklers for your grand exit, or if they were provided. I'd honestly never been asked that before, but I do not provide grand exit items, so I advised that yes, you would need to provide sparklers.
Lastly, I would like to address your "Jennifer did not show up day of and Adriana showed up 1 hour before the ceremony, On your contract, it clearly states that your coordinator will be assigned 30 days prior to your day. It also states this at the top of your production schedule. It clearly states Adrianas' name. The 8 hour block that she was required per our contract and that you chose was 4:00-12:00. However, your venue requires the coordinator be onsite no later than 2 hours prior to your ceremony. I spoke to both Adriana and you at 3:30 and she was onsite and speaking to your florist, Jake about the change in set up due to using your rain plan. She then came to the bridal suite.
Again, I am sorry this is how you felt. I'm a bit confused because I heard from Adriana upon her exit just after midnight and she was so happy telling me that prior to your grand exit, your groom was so happy that he hugged her and thanked her.
I'm sorry that you felt she appeared overwhelmed. I am happy though that she took all of those wedding day stresses and issues upon herself and appeared overwhelmed, but you did not have to.

Jennifer and ATX Wedding Planner were a great addition to our wedding day! Jennifer was instrumental in our wedding preparation--especially during COVID. She helped us think through how to keep traditions while keeping things safe. We worked with her ahead of time to plan our timeline and it was such a help having her there day-of. She was even with me when I walked down the aisle--making sure to keep my train in order--and at one point when the strap on my wedding dress broke, she was there to help mend it. It was SUCH a help to have her there and we recommend her highly!
