Augusta Museum of History

I wanted to say thank you to the Augusta Museum of History staff for maintaining such a beautiful building! As a woman born and raised here naturally I visited this museum many times for field trips and sometimes just for family fun! I have always loved walking through those front doors into that breathtaking rotunda to see all the fantastic exhibits and learn about our history but to have the opportunity to marry my best friend in my favorite place in Augusta was an absolute dream come true! I want to make special mention of the event coordinator, Alyson, she has been absolutely amazing through this entire process! August 1st was not our original date. We chose the museum as our venue close to 2 years ago, obviously pre-covid, and when everything started to get rocky she was immediately on it! We knew we would still get the day of our dreams no matter what! You could tell she cares very much for the bride and wants to make sure the day is everything the happy couple could ever want it to be! This day could not have been what it was if she had not been the person I was working with! There aren't enough thank yous I could give to you Alyson for everything you did! It was the day I had always dreamed of and more! I would recommend the museum to anyone for any event! It is so beautiful, they are so helpful, and at a time where it is so very important the place is calmingly clean and WELL SANITIZED!!
