Our wedding was exactly what we wanted and I can’t recommend having a wedding with them enough! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!!

love for "relaxing in the summer sun", and everything Disney. We made an inquiry on disneyweddings.com, set a date for Feb 2, 2020, and never looked back! We set a budget for our big day, got our RSVP's back, and took on the challenge to plan a fun celebration for us and our 80 guests. The logistics of planning a party like this would seem so daunting, but oh my, Aulani's wedding team is simply amazing at making sure all goes smoothly as possible. They set you up with a great planner/coordinator to go through every thing from florals and photography/videography to food and decorations. They have a list of expert vendors who are familiar with the premises at Aulani, and all we had to do was just pick and choose depending on our budget. They follow up with you constantly to make sure we were making our deadlines, even though we were in different time zones. With our experience, we met with our original planner (Rei) in June 2019, and she showed us the beauty that is Aulani Resorts. We chose the Ama Ama Patio (with the wonderful beach view) for our ceremony, and the Ballrooms for our reception. She also did an amazing job answering all the big questions about how our day would run, what sort of food and cake we could have, what decorations (for tables and linens) we could choose from, but she never pressured us to choose any thing right at the spot. She gave us enough choices and time to make the planning process as comfortable as possible. However, with about 4 months left to our wedding, we were told we had a change in wedding planners! Although we thought this would be the bump in our planning process, we were still given the opportunity to work with yet another amazing planner (Christian)! He followed through with all our requests (even when some were terribly last minute - forgive us!) and made sure all was going to go according to plan on our big day. He executed our simple and fun "Up" theme wedding so perfectly, and everything was simply seamless... He coordinated everything with our photographers/videographers, florists, officiant, and wedding party... so Dustin and I just had an adventure of our lives that day! Thank you for everything, Aulani wedding team! We highly recommend any couples who share the same fun-loving spirit as we do to celebrate their big day here :)

We met with Rei who showed us around the property and after touring the site and given a fantastic presentation without the pressure of making a decision, my now-spouse and I made the decision to go with Aulani and Disney Fairytale Weddings. Then I was contacted by Nicole Tam, the miracle worker who set us up with whatever we needed. The coordination over email and the phone was flawless. I didn't have to be in Hawaii to get the hard work done. Any question I had was promptly answered. The vision I had for my wedding was easily seen by the Fairytale Wedding Team. I was in good hands and I knew from day 1 that this would be a great event. Choosing the florist, photographer, live band, and additional perks was done so easily. Come the wedding day, it was executed seamlessly. If there was a problem, I didn't know about it because there were so many Disney employees in the background that I know they were working so hard to make the event magical. I got the wedding of my dreams. I can't thank Nicole and her team enough for the best event I've ever been too!!! No bias of course!!! Hahaha. I left Hawaii knowing that we made the best choice by going with the Aulani for our wedding.

eir fearless leader Nicole Tam. 365 days before our October 2019 wedding, we called the Disney Fairytale Weddings team and the rest was happily ever after! Working with Nicole was a dream, she answered every question, anticipated my needs as a picky bride (and dare I say bridezilla at times) and executed a wedding even more magical than we could have ever hoped for. We absolutely loved all of Aulani's preferred vendors and they truly delivered the level of service you would expect from Disney. Bianca from Bianca Photography is as professional as she is a sweetheart. She turned my husband and I from two awkward ducklings to beautiful, rock star swans! Flowergirls Hawaii took my vision of Fall in Hawaii and made it a pumpkin loving reality! Michelle's eye for colors and creating floral arrangement tied our entire theme together! Videography through Imaginewurks made us look like movie stars and I've watched our same day edit at least 152 times since we got married a week ago. We can't thank Nicole, her team, and our vendors enough for all the blood, sweat, and tears (minus the blood and plus lots of happy tears) that was put into making our wedding the most amazing and beautiful day of our lives.

ught Disney Aulani should be one to look into. Started on their website and requested for more info. Nicole the event manager from Disney Aulani reached out to us. She is amazing! She answered all my questions. Explained the difference between the 2 packages: Escape and Wish. I took the info and explained all to my fiance. We decided on what is important to us (intimate ceremony, cake, food, pictures) and picked the Escape package. The rest was easy. Nicole was always 1 step ahead. Communication was clear and thorough. Discuss, select, move on. Repeat. From February when we decided on Aulani, most details were worked out via email and within the 1st 2 months. Then again in July to confirm all and make payments. Then October came, we arrived and the next day 10.22.19 we met Nicole, got a tour of our venue, she took care of our marriage license. Later that evening all the vendor( referred by Nicole, and also amazing at what they do) came thru. The photographer, videographer, hairstylist, florist, officiant, and of course Nicole supervising all was a dream. We had the best time and the entire experience from planning to actual day was seamless and perfect! Stress from February to the day of was zero. The large chunk of time in between months was perfect. No one bothered us, we were left alone to focused on our attires and flights. Sat back and just waited for our vacation. There is not one thing I would change about our wedding or the entire experience. Coming from the wedding industry and meeting so many stressed brides I just knew going in to this there has to be a certain mindframe to hold so that I dont get stressed out and become bridezilla. Thats no fun and I still have work to focus on. Never did I expect such a wonderful process and wedding. Everything that was important to us came to fruition and better than expected. Our sunset photoshoot was fun and beautiful. Our ceremony was glamorous and intimate. The restaurant AMA AMA worked up a delicious menu just for us. Our cake was too pretty to eat. Thank you to all involved in the Disney Fairytale Wedding, especially Nicole!

s envisioned everything. We exchanged hundreds of emails and calls on a weekly basis. She was able to accommodate every detail and request. We are from San Diego, California so planning a destination wedding could have been stressful or difficult. However, Nicole was so wonderful to work with, and she made it simple for us. The recommended vendors were the top choices and as kind and provided the best work. We were luckily enough to visit Hawaii to choose the venue, then return a second time for the menu and cake tasting. It was a great experience both times! At each meeting Nicole gave us wonderful ideas to add that Disney touch to the wedding. Nicole was in constant communication with us the entire year and we couldn’t have asked for anyone more amazing. Nicole and her team made our vision come to life. She was the most attentive, happy and helpful at all times. The night before the wedding, Nicole accommodated last minute changes to the seating arrangements and rehearsal dinner. She was always so positive and calm and the day of the wedding she made everything stress free. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Not only did she attend to my husband and I, but my family members too. She went above and beyond making sure she knew exactly what was needed and making sure the vendors and bridal party knew where to be and when. Her organization really helped to keep me stress free and able to enjoy our wedding. I would 100 percent recommend Nicole and her team at the Aulani for their wedding. The staff at the Aulani resort was amazing as well, the vendors, waiters and bartenders were awesome! Always providing the best customer service. The whole experience was magical and it was a memorable life event for the both of us. I wouldn’t change one thing, It was truly the wedding of our dreams.

th the vendors. There were numerous moments, of which I'm embarrassed to admit, where I was a complete disaster to work with because I found myself quite demanding and rude with Nicole. In retrospect, I could have toned it down ten notches but Nicole was wonderfully patient with me throughout the entire process. I cannot commend her professionalism enough. She's absolutely incredible. The day of our wedding, we needed to enforce our emergency plan as it was raining and we had planned for an outdoor wedding. Within minutes, Nicole was able to contact vendors with sizing and pricing information so we could carefully consider what was the best option. And a couple of minutes after that, everything was resolved! The tent was loaded and the vendor was on their way to the venue. Nicole is amazing. Aulani pulled off the most memorable wedding for my husband and I. Communication was always there, the staff at the resort were delightful, and the staff at our wedding were so professional. I loved all the vendors Aulani had recommended and it was evident during our wedding why they were recommended - everyone put together the most amazing experience we could have imagined. The photographer/videographer team (Visionari) helped out in ways that were out of their jurisdiction and were so discreet the entire night while taking the most breathtaking pictures. Our florist (Sweet Pea & Petunia) gave us the most beautiful flowers we had ever seen at a wedding. And the for the first time ever, we witnessed flowers that lasted way past the wedding into the next morning and it still looked just as fresh! We had been observant at all recent weddings and usually flowers were wilted by reception but not Sweet Pea's! I didn't interact with the serving staff or bartender but everyone told us they were superb and I believe it! Thank you to everyone at Aulani for making our fairytale wedding so perfect. We could not have made a better decision to hold our wedding with your fabulous team. And most of all, thank you to Nicole Tam for dealing with this crazy bride. I am forever grateful to you. Without any hesitation, I highly recommend holding your wedding at Aulani. You will have no regrets. Mahalo, Aulani!

Venue: There are so many options! We chose the ‘AMA’AMA patio for the ceremony, Kipuka lawn for cocktail hour and Kaiona Ballroom for reception. The locations couldn’t have been more perfect for a sunset wedding in paradise! The venue is so clean, staff are the sweetest and so accommodating, and the package includes special room rates for guests! Cost: Worth every penny! Disney will flex to your perfect wedding within your budget. We preferred to splurge in certain areas but would do it again in a heartbeat! Vendors: Your planner will advise on a preferred vendor list. We went off this list for major vendors such as floral, photography etc. and were completely in awe of the service from all vendors! Nicole makes sure all is communicated and in order. So easy! Experience: I’ve never felt so special than on our wedding week at Aulani! All staff recognized us as the bride/ groom. We received all the well wishes and congratulations. Sweet little notes and gifts from our planner. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel like royalty for such a special event. Our wedding memories are truly priceless all thanks to Nicole & the Disney Weddings team! Mahalo!

r small ceremony package to host a small family and friends Vow Renewal there, and dinner at their restaurant 'Ama 'Ama. From the first day of planning to the day of, our wedding coordinator, Nicole did an outstanding job. She's very professional and knowledgeable with her work. Working with her made planning so much easier because she would give you suggestions, and ideas that you would not think of. She even worked the extra mile to help set up decorations when it was not even included in the package. Aside from that, the resort have great facilities, friendly staff, and delicious food and beverages.

She helped us with all kinds of requests including finding 3 extra room nights a week before the wedding at the busiest time of year and she helped reserve a table for 11 of us at the Aulani luau. She was there every step of the way helping with all of our decisions, and throughout our stay continued to check in on us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. On wedding day, she joined us in the morning and she was working hard until well after the reception had ended. All week she made it clear to let her know if we needed anything. The wedding itself was beautiful. Disney gets all the little details perfect. We got married on the Ama Ama patio and couldn't have asked for a better spot. The flowers by Sweet Pea and Petunia were exactly what we wanted - bright tropical and beautiful. Randy Allen was our musician and he completely exceeded our expectations. He sang throughout the ceremony and the reception. Our guests had so much fun dancing to his singing, and some got up and joined in on the mic with him. The food was amazing, and all of the Disney workers were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout the evening. Bianca Photography did our photos and we've seen some of the photos she's captured and they look incredible. Our stay at Aulani was also perfect. Our room coordinator ensured our other wedding guests staying in the hotel were all in the same area. And we were automatically upgraded to an ocean view room as the bride and groom. Disney also makes sure you get small gifts throughout the planning process all the way through when you return to your room after your wedding. We couldn't believe all they did for us. Everything was perfect, we couldn't have imagined anything better. Our guests genuinely had a wonderful time as well. It doesn't get any more beautiful than Aulani. If you are looking for a real fairytale wedding this is absolutely the place to go.

My husband and I did not want to move indoors so Nicole was able to find a last minute tent at half the cost. The tent was able to accommodate our very large wedding party. We had about 140 guests attend our wedding. All of them were completely impressed with the food, decor and entertainment. We appreciated the vendor list provided by Aulani. All the vendors we chose were easy to work with and provided great services. We would definitely recommend Aulani to anyone who loves Disney and looking to plan their dream wedding.

Aulani and Disney make it so easy to customize a wedding that is YOU. There are several locations both for ceremony and venue. We chose the Ama Ama patio overlooking the ocean as the ceremony, and ballroom for reception (so we could celebrate without disrupting others!) Ama Ama is absolutely gorgeous, private area that overlooks the beautiful ocean. We wanted to make sure our wedding felt like us, and wasn't cookie cutter. Aualani and Rei made sure that the entire wedding was perfect for us! We got amazing suggestions and recommendations we didn't even know we needed! So much goes into a wedding and having a team there that guides you is worth every penny. My husband and I did not have to worry about anything the day of our wedding. Even when it rained, Rei and Aulani had backup plans for us during the tropical showers. Everything was just magical, beautiful, and so perfect. We have told anyone who asks to get married at Aulani: you can choose your own vendors or get recommendations of the best teams around; customize the ceremony; have an on-site team and wedding planner from Aulani to guide you; and most of all get married in a beautiful Hawaiian paradise. We are already planning on renewing our 10-year vows here, and will be celebrating our 1-year anniversary at Aulani again. Mahalo, Team Aulani for making our happily ever after come true!

a month about the wedding and about once a week a month before. The photographer, Dj, floral and videographers came from a list of preferred vendors that we did research on and chose each. Our coordinator also gave us a list of hair/makeup artists that had been to the resort before. The food and cake was prepared by Aulani and it was amazing! We were sent about 4 or more different menus and we got to choose either plated or buffet for our meal. We chose the Aulani Buffet and it was so yummy! Everyone said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. On the day of the wedding Nicole was in contact with all our vendors and our vendors were also in contact with each other since they work together quite often. Our wedding was seamless and basically all we did was show up and everything was taken care of. The wedding we chose was the "Wishes" package. We had our ceremony on the AMA' AMA' patio at sunset and our reception on the Rainbow Reef Patio only a few minute walk from the ceremony site. Bianca was our photographer, Imaginewurks was our videographer, Tony Aka The DJ Hawaii was our MC and DJ, Sweet Pea Petunia was our florist and Flaunt Makeovers Hawaii took care of me and 9 bridesmaids for hair and makeup. We spent a few days at Aulani before the wedding and spent our honeymoon there as well. Aulani also offered us a room block with discounted room rates for us and our family/friends to book. If we could we would have a Disney Fairytale Wedding all over again! The experience was so amazing and it was everything we could have hoped for on our special day.

100 guests. I actually had some people show up last minute and I freaked out but my coordinator, Rei, told me not to worry and handled it. We were on a budget so we decided to have a morning ceremony at the 'AMA 'AMA patio and a lunch reception at the Kaiona Ballroom. Everything was perfect! And it worked out of my guest because as soon as the wedding was over, I found my guests who were staying at Aulani by the pool! It was like an after party. And like other reviewers said, they are Disney and definitely have that Disney magic the day of and even throughout the planning process.

The day was nothing short of magical and the resort is beautiful. I’m looking forward to returning on our first year anniversary. Lastly, the filet migon at the AMA AMA is a must if you love steak.

e. Without Nicole to be there to answer every question and to go to bat for me with vendors, I wouldn't have been able to do it. She was always available to help guide me through the process. When I got there...she was right on top of it with fine tuning every last detail. The day of my wedding...she came up to my room several times throughout the day to prepare everything. She kept me feeling at ease. During the ceremony and reception, she was by our side the entire time. The moment I looked like I needed something, she came running over with anything that I needed, whether it was touch up make up or changing my shoes etc. For a DJ, I went with Tony So. He was spectacular. He and Nicole work so well together and made this entire experience magical. My guests gave me a thousand compliments on the wedding as well as Nicole and Tony. This was top notch, first class all the way around and I couldn't be happier! Thank you Disney Aulani for making our dream wedding possible.

ding planner was beyond amazing. This woman was entirely professional in everything she touched. In addition to this you can see Nichole was very personally involved in her work....She and her chosen vendors actually care about what they are doing and for those they are servicing. This was evidenced in the tear i saw form in her eye when my beautiful 84 year old parents danced together after restating their vows. It felt as though they were family in attendance only with an eagle eye watching that everything went off without a hitch. The reception cake, flowers , vendors are all within her control and purview (which although for some people may be disagreeable as i have read in some reviews were too expensive and didnt like ) , i disagree with this perspective, as this is a large part of what allows Nichole/Aulani the ability to provide a beautiful experience for her wedding venue guests and also guarantees top quality in product. From the flowers, the cake, the ceremony master, to the reception breakfast (we had a morning ceremony for them due to heat factors) it was ALL TOP NOTCH. We all have incredible memories personally and great photography. Addionally while there, our son proposed to his now wife and Nichole, took care of it all off the cuff. His sunset dinner to the photographer to commemorate him on his knee int he rain...WHAT A BEAUTIFUL TRIP. Thank you Nichole. You performed amazing magic for us and made my trip essentially flawless in all aspects.

Our wedding was held over at Lanikuhonua and it was absolutely beautiful! Our meal and cake were through Aulani and it was so good! We had so many options to choose from and if you wanted to customize any pre-made packages, you were more than welcome to! Our food was amazing and our cake was beautiful and tasty! We had a few touches of Disney here and there and I'm so glad that Disney was a part of our special day! Here's to hoping we'll make it back soon!

ny bathrooms...one. With eight total stalls. Hmmm, are all of those kids going to wait in line or pee in the pool? Look at that beautiful beach with those lounge chairs in the sand. Fantastic right. Two waiters support that whole area. If you want water or have been driven to drink by this disorganized place, you have to wait in line or pray for these poor guys to pass your way and then wait for a good hour. Oh and you need a drink of water because there are about 10 umbrellas that people fight over or you can rent a chair with cover for $75. Not a typo. A cabana is 275 so no, I am not confused. A chair with an umbrella costs $75 and you have to be quick about reserving that. Backstory: So I am here to get married. I picked a destination wedding because I don't care about my "colors" etc. I picked Aulani because I figured if I were going to drag my family and friends to an expensive trip to Hawaii, there should be activities for all. I needed someone to book stuff to do and find photographers, musicians, and whatever else goes into a wedding (see above re not caring about the fluff) The sale: the sale was perfect. The pitch was elegance mixed with low maintenance with a smidgen of "leave it all to us". Think of a kid friendly four season where we will handle everything. Execution: the wedding "coordinator" sent me emails with lists of people to call to arrange everything. WTF. Coordinating this shit is in your title. I am now on coordinator number two (the first one got busted lying about making arrangements that I had made so was fired) and she not only did not execute on the help she offered, but I was then charged for the excursions that we booked for guests but were not able to use. 5 x $150. Which leads me to price. Price: wedding party rooms =$1500/night. I must segue back to service. For $1500/night per room multiplied by three, one might, just maybe expect help with making dinner reservations. Nope. Did I mention that the cost of this "leave it all to us wedding" that I spent the past two months calling all over Hawaii to arrange myself? Sit down. $30,000. Not including the photographer, hair, flowers, musician, travel, rooms. Why do I have time to write this during the honeymoon? Because I am sitting on hold trying to call around myself to make a simple reservation for breakfast. Yep. For $1500/night, you too could wait on hold for 20 minutes every time you want to eat....or wait in line for an hour. The good was the wedding itself and reception. It was perfection. I must pat myself on the back for all of that work. The staff was amazing as were the photographers and officiant (who was the wrong denomination by the way--the only thing I cared about and the only detail the coordinator took care of) Do not do it. The Disney cruises are awesome. The hotels in California are awesome. This is easily the worst. Everyone you meet at the pool or beach tells the same story of shock and horror about how poorly run this place is.

From the beginning to the end she was very attentive, responded to emails and phone calls promptly and helped coordinate the different vendors and make sure everything went smoothly. Our reception was at the Wailani pool which we loved. I am so glad that we decided to have our wedding here, it was well worth it!

u were there as just two adults not necessarily looking for all the Disney characters, then you didn't seem to see it that much. The pools were wonderful, the beach was great. Only complaint is that there were children in the adult pools and hot tubs quite often.

autiful, can be very touristy and crowded. Aulani is just close enough to be a short drive to honolulu, while far enough so as to not endear any of crowds. The staff at Aulani were exceptional and top notch. Every member of the staff made it their personal mission to make our honeymoon special. We stayed in a one bedroom villa. It was cozy for just the two of us, while also spacious with a full kitchen, washer, dryer, living room, hot tub, and large balcony. It was a great place to call home for 10 nights. Thank you, Aulani, for such an amazing honeymoon!

you're at Disney resort without over-doing it. They have characters on property for different events throughout the day and the staff were all very friendly. We will be back in the future with our children and family!

But my whole theme was fairytale wedding. My husband proposed in disneyland, and since a little girl I wanted to get married is Dinseyland by the castle but this was the closest to us, so it would do and our honeymoon is in Dinseyworld. Some other negative issues we had were the road blocks that we encounted like them telling us that we needed to find a different ceremony location 4 months prior to the wedding due to construction. But they pulled it off and it made a more beautiful location on property. Overall they delivered and made it such a magical day for my bride, groom and everyone else we were able to share with.

great food). Go to Roy's - at the Ko Olina Golf Course across the street, best dinner hands down. Local places like Big Wave Shrimp in North Shore should not be missed. Also Rainbow Drive In in Honolulu is a must for a quick burger or local fried fish.

he beginning, starting with our reserved wedding date being given away, and we had to choose another date. A major issue occuring all throughout the year was that we would contact our coordinator via phone or email, and not hear back for at least a week. At one point, we didn't hear back for almost 3 weeks. Also scheduled phone meetings wouldn't happen, and when we'd be in contact next, there wouldn't be any mention of the missed meetings. It would be frustrating, especially for a bride planning from across the ocean, and not being able to show up to the venue to talk to someone in person. Also, there were instances where the same questions were asked to us multiple times, which gave us the impression that our coordinator wasn't listening, didn't take notes, and didn't give us her attention. All throughout the planning process we were surprised at how a Disney Wedding could be so difficult. We assumed that it was because of the resort being so new, and working out the kinks. In the end, we arrived at the resort a mere day and a half before the ceremony, met with our coordinator for the first time, and had a beautiful wedding and reception that went perfectly and we will remember for the rest of our lives. The resort itself is so incredibly beautiful, the pictures I'd seen online do not do this place justice. We had a gorgeous backdrop of the ocean for our ceremony, and tons of great places for us take pictures at afterwards. The catering department of the resort was phenomenal!! Everything we chose for the menu turned out so delicious and perfect, I can't even begin to say how happy we were about the food!! Everyone in attendance said that it was the best wedding dinner they'd ever had!! The only reason why the Aulani didn't get 5 stars is because of the difficulty we had throughout the planning. We believe it's because they may be understaffed and overwhelmed with all the weddings at the resort. There was at least 1 wedding a day, each day we were there.

roblems throughout the year that arose (which would be expected). Our coordinator was the catering director of the entire Aulani, so getting in touch with her was sometimes very difficult. My mom and I sometimes wouldn't hear back from her via phone call or email maybe a week or almost 2 weeks later. This gave us some stress because this continued to happen even up to the last month of the wedding. We didn't get certain planning sheets we were supposed to until the last few months before the wedding date. For our wedding rehearsal, the date had to be moved last minute which made it inconvenient for some people in my bridal party. The day before the wedding rehearsal, the coordinator emailed my mom and said that the would have to be changed because there was now a wedding that they had to set up for at the same time we booked the gardens for. We had scheduled the wedding rehearsal months in advance, but they still booked another event. The day of the wedding actually went really well. The banquet captain gave us great service and really took care of whatever we needed that night. The entire wedding night flowed really well. The food was delicious and all our guests loved our food selections. Overall, the wedding itself from the ceremony to the reception was "perfect" in our eyes. Now that the wedding is over, we still have to deal with pricing issues. Quotes that the Aulani gave us about the food are different on the invoice. And things our coordinator said that she would include for free, we actually got charged for. All in all, I'm sure that the Aulani is working out the kinks in everything. Their packages seem great for a destination wedding, but it may be a little different for local brides.

this is the place to go!! All of our guest liked the Aulani and had a great week off to....Teri Christensen is the Wedding Corrdinator to ask for ; ) Great Food-Drinks and CAKE and Decor of the Wedding Table at the reception! We had a small private wedding with 24 guest.

ding is just spectacular. We were fortunate enough to have our reception outdoors at the Wailana Pool. Simply magnificent! While it is a bit pricey, it is most definitely worth it for making your wedding memorable.
