Cary and I celebrated our wedding and reception on October 15, 2023 at the Avenue of the Arts. Kita and her team made us feel welcomed. From the taste testing to the actual event, and even the next morning with a complimentary champagne breakfast. Great service from the entire hotel staff! Thank you Kita!

My wife and I were married here last Friday. The communication between the management / staff and us was great. We were confident on every part of the event. They set up the ceremony & reception for you. They offer many choices of decorations. They are able to custom packages for the booking. We had a great wedding and were not stressed the day of due to the helpfulness of Kita, Cassie & our coordinator Cat. The wedding package includes a coordinator of your choice.

We had our wedding here in February. It was beautiful. We had the Furiwa catered dinner. The place was perfect for a reception for 190 guests. The food was delicious, the ambiance was warm and elegant. We had our wedding picture by the lake, and it wad very scenic. Victoria and Monica accommodated us for all the quirky requests we had. The best venue!!!

This is a beautiful venue that has an amazing wedding package that includes food, centerpieces, hotel reservations, and more. The lake provides a beautiful background for wedding photos and their dinner menu is tasty! Monica Pantaleon, their wedding coordinator, is amazing in her punctuality, organization, and reliability. She was very patient with us as we figured out the wedding details on our end and she was very accommodating to what we wanted for our special day.

My husband and i had a beautiful July-summer wedding here. I wanted to have both of indoor and outdoor experience, and this venue was perfect for us. The ceremony took place outside by the lake, and beautiful intimate reception followed indoor. The staff were all amazing and made the whole process very smooth and professionally. Thank you AOA!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Avenue of the Arts and their team. The venue was beautiful and elegant. It offers a gorgeous lakeside area for the ceremony + cocktail hour, and the grand ballroom for the dinner reception. So many of our friends later told us how much they loved our venue. It was also very convenient for our out of town guests, who stayed at the hotel for the weekend (everyone had wonderful things to say about their stay). We loved working with AoA's coordinator Monica, who is very professional, responsive, sweet and just amazing to work with. She was there for us from day one! We cannot ask for a better experience. My wife and I had our wedding here last February and celebrated our first wedding anniversary here again last week. The staff, location and ambiance was just amazing. Monica was the best coordinator we could've asked for and she and James came through again to make our anniversary nothing short of magical. My husband and I just got married here on NYE and absolutely loved it! From the first time we toured the venue to the last second of our reception, we felt like VIPs. Cassie was energetic, sweet, and knowledgeable during our tour so we booked it! After that we were in the amazing hands of Monica. She answered all of our questions quickly, provided suggestions when asked, and was determined to make sure the vision of our reception came true. We purchased one of the wedding packages where the cake was included (all amazing options, but we ultimately went with Susie Cakes) as well as a wedding month of coordinator (we went with Erika’s Elegance, probably the best decision EVER). I have so many great things to say about both Susie Cakes and Erika’s Elegance that I will be writing them a review too to share everything. The food was absolutely amazing and we still get guests from our wedding saying how they had the most fun at our wedding and the food was phenomenal, best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. My husband and I were catered to all throughout the night and felt like the king and queen. In a nutshell, definitely book your wedding with this venue if you want great good, good location, great staff, and all your guests to compliment you on how your wedding was awesome!

We had a wedding here on Oct. 22. We only had about 40 guests and they had just about a perfect sized ballroom for us. We decided to go with the highest priced menu. The food was soooo great. All the guests mentioned how good the food was. The bartender was fast enough to serve drinks without people waiting a long time. Servers were very friendly and professional as well. I have to mention Monica who was a wedding coordinator from Ave of the Art. She was amazing. She made everything happen. From ballroom wall cover to little details on our unity ceremony, she made all worked. Wedding day is already stressful day but she made me worry less and enjoy the day. Everything went as planned. Thanks to Monica. They also have a beautiful outdoor scenery which is a perfect pre-wedding photo. I would recommend everyone to Ave of the Art for their wedding.

I just don’t know how to start writing here. The venue is very beautiful. We had 95 guests and it was perfect for us. I loved the lakeside cocktail area which is so modern. I loved the idea of having cocktail at different place than the ballroom area. All the staff here are so accommodating and professional. Our wedding reception looked very nice and gave very different vibe. All our friends loved the location. 😊 I have no words for how amazing Monica is. Right from day one to end she was there for everything. We planned our wedding in just 3 months and it was very hectic. But Monica made sure she is there no matter what. She took care of everything, literally everything . She went out of her way to help us make this as smooth as possible. The day of reception she was present for everything. She made sure I don’t have mental breakdown too when one of the vendors did not arrive in time for setup. She is so sweet I cant stop talking about her. Thank you so much for making our wedding such a memorable one. 😊

This venue was absolutely gorgeous! Although our wedding landed on the hottest weekend of the year, our outdoor ceremony was beautiful! We received so many compliments from our guest about how gorgeous the ceremony location was and the reception! We were gracious enough to have Monica as our point of contact at AoA and she was so easy to work with! Monica really went above and beyond for us, and that made our experience that much better! Highly recommend this hotel/venue to other newlyweds!

After visiting several different locations, Avenue of the Arts Hotel, was the venue my husband and I fell in love with. Monica Pantaleon was our contact person throughout the whole process. She was always very prompt with our questions, phone calls and emails. She was a delight to work with and made everything run smooth and put us at ease. The hotel’s location was great for our guests who came from out of town and many of our friends and family were able to book a room for the night. The food and service for the event was wonderful! Our wedding package also included the wedding cake and access to a wedding coordinator 1 month prior to the event (Erika’s Elegance was phenomenal!). Overall, we were very happy with making Avenue of the Arts our venue for our wedding. Thank you Monica!

One of the best decisions we made was choosing this venue. It's the best of both, with the ceremony being outdoors and the reception being indoors upstairs in the grand ballroom. Monica was an absolute dream to work with. She was ALWAYS so prompt with her communication and sooo sooo helpful all throughout the entire process. The food was great and the package comes with the wedding cake and everything. She really made things as stress-free as it can possibly be. We are so grateful we found this venue.

We had our wedding at Avenue of the Arts in June 2022 and it was amazing! The venue has a multitude of locations - both indoors and outdoors - for beautiful photo opportunities. We received so many compliments from our guests on the ambiance of the entire area of the venue. The food during the cocktail hour and dinner reception were also great. After visiting many venues, we decided Avenue of the Arts was the perfect venue for our special day. The space is absolutely beautiful and checked all the boxes of having the ceremony, reception, plenty of photo opps, and a place for our out of town guests all in one location. The entire catering staff was super helpful and we felt like we were in good hands the entire night. Everything was set up so beautifully and exactly as we had imagined, from the full ballroom draping, the table settings, lighting and dance floor. Our guests were raving about the event space, friendly staff, and food (surprisingly the potato leek soup was the favorite). Although Terri is the main events coordinator, Monica is now in charge of wedding events and she definitely proved that she is up for the challenge. Monica was quick to respond to any of our questions and really went beyond to make sure our special day went as smoothly as it could. A major hurdle for us was the 20+ mph winds on the day of and Monica was very communicative to remedy the situation. We ultimately moved the cocktail hour inside which worked out totally fine. We would like to thank Monica for making sure everything behind the scenes went as smoothly as possible. We highly recommend any couple to book Avenue of the Arts for their upcoming wedding or event. They will definitely take care of you.

Beautiful venue and top tier service!! Terri and Monica were so helpful and made sure our reception went off without any issues- despite multiple changes from our side due to omicron sudden arrival and drastic orders from my dad re safety concerns. Overall everything was gorgeous and perfect!!! Such a gorgeous reception and soooo much fun!

Fantastic venue! They really take care of you and make sure everything goes smoothly on your special day. We originally had our wedding planned in 2020, but with the pandemic, they were very accommodating and let us change our wedding date to this past weekend for no extra charge. Every one of our guests loved the venue and commented on how beautiful it was. The whole package they offer was great and made things fairly easy. The vendors they work with were all fantastic. Having the ceremony, reception and being able to stay the night all in one place was such a great idea, I couldn't imagine having had my wedding any other way. Seriously the best ever.

After researching lots of venues “Avenue of the Arts” was the best choice we made; especially the dates was very hard to book. They were able to accommodate our wedding. One of our favorite venues as wedding vendors and as hotel guests, we decided to have our own wedding here for our special day! We had a wonderful experience working with Avenue of the Arts in Costa Mesa. We loved the venue that offered the best of both worlds as we had our cocktail hour outdoors in the beautiful Garden Retreat and our dinner reception indoors in the Grand Ballroom. All of our guests also stayed at the hotel the entire weekend and the convenience and accommodations of the venue and the venue location was a perfect match for our wedding guests. We worked with Terri throughout the booking and planning process, and she did a great job as our venue coordinator on the day of the wedding. The entire catering and event staff was wonderful from start to finish and we felt so well taken care of. Our guests also enjoyed the same type of wonderful experience and we heard so many compliments about the venue service, food, and overall compliments of the hotel staff, banquet and events staff, and the event space. The catering menu and bar menu was personalized to all our needs, and we thoroughly enjoyed our wedding food. Everything was set up so beautifully from the pipe and drape, chairs and tables, dance floor and lighting, with no detail missed. We felt so confident and comfortable with how much Terri and her staff did to take care of us and our guests. I would highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a welcoming and casual boutique hotel, that is also glamorous and modern for a beautiful wedding day. Both my husband and I are in the wedding industry and we've worked with so many venues -- this is a hidden gem and one of our absolute favorites. My husband and I had a wedding at Avenue of the Arts on 09/18/2021. Having a wedding in the midst of Covid-19 breakout wasn't easy, but with the help of the Avenue team, we were able to have our dream wedding! Words cannot express how grateful we are for the director, Terri and our coordinator, Cat! We've worked with other wedding venues and their coordinators, but Terri & Cat went above and beyond to help us to achieve what we wanted. Many vendors tend to neglect the couples once the payment has been received, but Terri and Cat showed us professionalism and best quality of service all throughout the process. To those who are shopping for venues, we definitely recommend checking Avenue of the Arts out!

We absolutely loved this venue. We just had our wedding this past Saturday and after being apart of other weddings where things have gone wrong, we expected some bumps. Instead the day was flawless. The team here were absolutely phenomenal and kept us up to date on any info we needed throughout the night. They set up our reception and it was beautiful. Terri - our event director was very friendly and helpful. Terri and her staff provided excellent service and helped our reception go smoothly. We received a lot of compliments from our guests. Everyone likes their food. The venue is very beautiful and we were so happy that we made the right decision to have our wedding here. We have chosen Avenue of the Arts as a venue for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Terri, venue event coordinator, made sure that the entire process was smoothless, pleasant and memorable - starting from site touring, booking, menu tasting, and finishing with a rehearsal and assisting during the wedding day itself. The stuff here is very professional, everybody from servers to audio tech provided outstanding service. During menu tasting we met with the chef who customized the menu per our dietary restrictions (vegan option was delicious). The venue itself has a very scenic setup by the lake, there are plenty of locations for wedding photos with various textures and backgrounds (fountains, succulent walls, bridge, flower beds, etc). The ceremony site has small steps like amphitheater but straight, so the guests who sit in the last rows, can see the altar unobstructed. The altar was set up right by the lake which created serene atmosphere. We would like to thank Terri and stuff for making our Big Day as amazing as it was for us. Our guests complimented the hors d'oeuvres and the drinks, as well as the main course. We highly recommend Avenue of the Arts if you are looking to host your event in OC - this place is great and people who work here are a pleasure to work with.

We just celebrated our big day here at Avenue of the Arts on April 17, 2021 and we are really pleased with the whole process of working with everybody here and Terri, the catering director. I am so meticulous with communication exchange and Terri is an absolute best in this area. She is so quick to respond to our emails and queries which to me was so important because it shows a sense of urgency on all things. She is so easy to talk to and is so accommodating. The staff is amazing! Everyone is so keen to giving you the best customer experience ever. The place is perfect. All of my guests are so impressed about how beautiful this hotel is - their lakeside area and the garden area where we had our reception are perfect. The packages could not be overlooked, too. They offer very competitive rates with so many inclusions. We couldn't be happier about choosing this place. It was totally worth it!

Best experience! Terri was amazing and answered all of our questions. We married in the garden, did cocktail hour by the lake and then returned to the garden for dinner. It was perfect and beautiful. We only had a party of 36 so it was the perfect size to accommodate our group.

Words cannot describe how perfect our wedding was! Despite being in a global pandemic Terri and her team were able to give us the wedding of our dreams! Our guest can’t stop raving about the venue and all the yummy treats and late night snacks the hotel provided. We had our ceremony lakeside and our reception in the ballroom and it all came out soo beautiful! I even got praise from my mom whose super picky that she loved everything about the day ( she especially loved the ceremony lakeside...she loves water lol) We opted to have our rehearsal dinner in the retreat garden as well and gain, weeks later I’m still getting praise about all the yummy food and atmosphere. Definitely recommend if you are looking for just a ceremony site or if you are looking for the whole package (rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception. If we could do our wedding all over again we would definitely choose AOA!!

My fiancé and I had to reschedule our August 2020 wedding. We wanted a venue that was local, offered an outdoor space, and also could accommodate guests if they wanted to stay overnight. We found this lovely hotel on The Knot, went to see it and immediately fell in love with it! The staff were amazing from Terri the coordinator to Rojelio our amazing server! Our guests were impressed with the rooms, restaurant, and lovely garden and lake views! We had an amazing two day event at The Avenue Of The Arts Hotel!

We were married at the Avenue of the Arts Hotel in Costa Mesa CA. Sara Cargill was AMAZING! She was always there for me throughout the planning process. Finding the right venue is one of the most stressful part of wedding planning. After looking at multiple venues, my husband and I chose Avenue of the Arts because the package offered to us was within our budget and what was included in it. Avenue of the Arts was the venue we chose due to their customer service. Other venues were beautiful too but had too many restrictions and rude staff. On the day of the wedding and before , Sara Cargill did not only provide the best customer service but paid attention to the details we wanted in our wedding. Our goal was to treat our guests like royalty and the staff at Avenue of the arts helped us do just that. Edgar from catering was exceptional as well. The location is gorgeous and we also received many compliments about the delicious food. We plan to return to Avenue of the Arts for our anniversary! Elegant Wedding! Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa is a hidden gem. Across from the performing arts center, this modern hotel and grand ballroom is the perfect combination for an elegant ceremony (by the lake or in the garden retreat), intimate reception, and overnight accommodations. Sara worked with us for over one year to plan our perfect wedding and our team exceeded expectations on the big day. Sara worked with our wedding planner, caterer and other vendors to make sure our wedding ran seamlessly. The day went by so quickly but we never had to worry about coordinating with vendors or making decisions since everything was so well thought out between Sara and our wedding planner. What really stood out is when we finally returned to our room after the reception, we had some food packed up for us eat, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and a nice arrangement of rose petals on the bed. Our wedding decorations (portraits/signs) we brought were arranged nicely on the table and we had more flower arrangement from the ceremony/reception than we could carry home with us! We appreciated all of details during the planning process, the elegant accommodations, and all of the little touches once the big event was over! We highly recommend this venue for a classy wedding. This venue is amazing for weddings! There are a multitude of locations on and around the property for various photo opportunities; you can make it look like you traveled around taking photos when all you did was walk from one spot to the next. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, and the ceremony area and reception hall don’t require tons of dressing up. The natural decor is a great start. I received a multitude of compliments from our guests on the food, the ambiance, etc., and would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to make their day special.

Avenue of the Arts was one of the first venues that we toured. We fell in love with the location of the ceremony by the lake, as well as the beautiful ballroom for the reception. When we first contacted the venue through The Knot, we received a message from Sara Cargill. She was extremely responsive and immediately provided us with available days to tour the venue. When meeting Sara in person, she was professional and approachable. She provided us with a detailed information guide about the venue and provided us with an in-depth tour of the venue. We fell in love! Over the many months of working with Sara, she was very accommodating to all our requests and was always extremely helpful. No question was too small. We had our tasting and planning meeting with her, and she was always on top of everything. It was so nice that we had her on our team because she made us feel calm during the entire wedding process. We made Sara aware of some of the concerns that arose with our wedding planner from Leilani Weddings. Leilani Weddings was one of the wedding planners that was included with our contract with Avenue of the Arts. Sara reassured us that she would personally make sure that everything went smoothly on the day of our wedding. We trusted her and she did not let us down on this promise. The food on the day of our wedding was delicious. We received so many compliments from our guests. The venue also provides you with three cake vendors to choose from as part of our contract. We chose SusieCakes and also received high praises from our guests on the cake. Sara and team arranged the cake delivery from SusieCakes, which went very smoothly! The ceremony site and reception were decorated perfectly, all our color and style choices were exactly what we requested. The Avenue of the Arts waiters and bartenders were extremely nice, always offering us drinks and routinely checked in to see if we needed anything. We had a number of guests who traveled from out of town for our wedding. Our guests loved the hotel rooms, especially the fancy wooden floors. We also loved our honeymoon suite! We had some guests extend their stay and enjoy photos outside by the lake and by the pool as it’s the perfect backdrop for photos. We also had our brunch at the Symphony Room inside Avenue of the Arts the next day. The food was extremely delicious, and all of our style/flower requests were also followed. The staff was also polite and accommodating. We would definitely recommend Avenue of the Arts to anyone getting married!

Deciding to have our wedding ceremony and reception at Avenue of the Arts was THE BEST decision we could have made for our wedding this past May. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Our pictures came out amazing. We had the pleasure of working with Sara Cargill. She does a wonderful job working with all of your vendors and making sure your wedding needs are attended to. Recently just got married at AOTA!! My day wouldn't have happened without my amazing coordinators!! Especially Sara Cargill, she was a major piece in planning my wedding. Best wedding venue! We checked out several venues in OC and immediately fell in love with Avenue of the Arts hotel. We knew it was the one for my daughter's wedding. The facility is beautiful, from the lakeside ceremony to the reception in the Grand Ballroom. The staff is friendly and professional. The cost was very reasonable in comparison to other venues, and the food is soooo gourmet and delicious! Everything exceeded our expectations. All of our guests had such a great time and love the Avenue of the Arts hotel. I chose to host my ceremony indoors rather than outside by the lake, and Avenue of the Arts was more than willing to accommodate this request. When we were looking for a venue, I as a bride wanted to have an outdoor wedding, but we have to consider different factors such as convenience for our guests. Stumbling into Avenue of the Arts Hotel is perfect. It is very convenient for my guests (accommodation, indoor reception so that they won't be freezing cold by night time) and I can have my outdoor wedding ceremony (has fountain and wonderful forest like area). Another thing that we are particular is the food. We want our guests to enjoy the food that is served on the wedding day and it did. The food was great. They had the same taste when we had our food tasting. The wedding suite was beautiful. It was prepared so well. The staff (especially the person who was assigned to us during the cocktail and reception making sure me and my fiancé (then) have everything we need such as water, wine) is awesome, very respectful. We couldn't ask for more. What made us decide to choose this venue even more is Sara, she is the social catering manager of the hotel. Sara is amazing. She is friendly, she made us feel at ease, and she made the whole process very easy. Avenue of the arts is lucky to have her. We had a great experience and we are happy that we chose this venue in one of the most important moment in our life.

Sara Cargill was amazing helping with details and organizing our rehearsal dinner. She was so accommodating with our budget and all our requests and changes in menu and numbers etc, Rogelio was the point man the night of the event and was very attentive, efficient and willing to do whatever we needed. We stayed at the hotel the whole weekend and the whole event was awesome! The only change I would make is to have the veggies to be cooked less and with less butter.

This was such a beautiful venue. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You really get treated right at this hotel. The ballroom's carpet is gorgeous, it really separates itself tremendously from other hotel ballrooms. The flow of all the locations we used for our wedding was perfect. There's a lakeside that is absolutely beautiful and also there are a lot of great locations around this venue for photography! Everything looks brand new and very luxurious. The honeymoon suite is gorgeous as well. The ballroom is very spacious and has a beautiful backdrop that came with our package. The service and meal packages provided were amazing. The food within the packages were delicious. It definitely didn't taste like typical wedding food. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding or any other events!

We chose Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa as our ceremony location and couldn't be happier with the venue and service. The hotel is beautiful both inside and out.. so many places for photos. Our ceremony was supposed to be outdoor by their lake. However, our wedding day, it poured! Luckily they had a back up plan, and was able to move us to a room inside the hotel. Their Symphony room was beautiful and looks great on photos! After the ceremony, there were a lot of places indoor that we could do photos with our bridal party and family. I was so glad because that was my biggest concern since we could not go outside. Avenue of the Arts has an amazing and caring team. Sara Cargill was our coordinator and she is fantastic at her job. She is responsive and professional from start to finish and was always there when I needed her. Thank you for turning what could've been a stressful day into a magical one! Highly recommend Avenue of the Arts and their team!!
