This review is a bit late, as we got married in January 2016. We met Axel after our original videographer bailed on us. While it was a bit of a hike to visit him, it was so worth it. This guy knows his stuff, not to mention he does not stretch ...himself too thin. Often times, vendors take on so many clients that they can't give you the attention you want, however, Axel shared that he takes on 7 clients per year, which allowed us to get the best service possible. We spoke about his experience and what we wanted, we arranged for him to cover our wedding from start to finish. Over the time between our meeting and the wedding, if we had a question, we received an email within hours. He is very prompt in his response. For the day of the wedding, he was there on time and dressed professional (I can't tell you how many weddings I went to where the videographer is in jeans and a Tee). His assistant was also super professional. During the morning, our house felt chaotic, but Axel and his assistant were out of sight. It barely felt like he was in your face, yet he has so many great images of our day of prep. Throughout the wedding, he was there. He stayed to about 1-2 hours before the wedding ended. I realized this was such a long day for him, and want to thank him for going above and beyond. He had to be exhausted! We received our video within 5 months. At first, there were some issues with the film such as pieces of the day that were missing, however Axel was so kind and understanding, and adjusted the film to meet our needs. Had it been anyone else, I think we would of been met with resistance and rudeness, but Axel apologized and fixed it within a week or so. My biggest advice for a couple is to make sure you know what you want in your video. I had assumed I only wanted an hour coverage, however, I realized that there is so much more that I wanted (ex. groom opening up gifts, dances, less speeches, getting ready details, the morning prep, etc.) If you do choose Axel think about what you want covered and how much you want of each segment. I don't think we understood this, but I am so glad Axel was patient with us and delivered a product we both enjoyed. Thank you so much Axel. I wish you much success with your business.
