Crystal was professional, patient, flexible, and pleasant with our vegan requests. The food delivery and take down was one time. Employees on site again, professional. Everything was fresh.

The FOOD is so good! A lot of my guests came up to me to say it was the best food they had had at a wedding! Crystal was super helpful and quick to respond and all of the staff were super kind and professional. We also got to take home the leftovers which we had lots of! They were perfect!

Crystal and her team were AMAZING! So easy to work with, the tasting was fabulous and we had so many compliments on the food! We had to change our venue 10 days before our wedding and Crystal and her team were so calm and confident going into a venue they had never been to. Not only did we have the best food but also the best service! They were extremely easy to work with and very flexible. I had to move the dinner up by more than an hour and it was no problem. The guests said it was the most delicious food that they have ever had at a wedding. I would choose them again!

We catered Baba’s for our wedding of 150 people, and it was fantastic. We had many people tell us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and we agree. The staff was so friendly and great to work with, which some of our guests shared with us too. Set up and clean up went smoothly, and they were even able to serve dinner a little earlier than we’d originally decided, which was a change we decided on with their staff just an hour before dinner was served. They also served appetizers and late night pizza. We would definitely cater Baba’s again, thank you for helping make our special day amazing!

My husband and I used Baba's to cater our wedding this summer, and we had a great experience. Starting with the process of choosing a caterer, they were very warm, invited us to their physical location and let us sample all of the possible dishes, all of which were delicious. When we looked at their menu online, there were some specific combinations of menu items, but when we spoke with Crystal she helped us pick the perfect combination for us. They were flexible with the timing of dishes, so some things could be used as appetizers and some as the main course. We chose the buffet style, and Crystal released tables during the ceremony, which went smoothly. All the guests said the food was delicious, and some were able to get seconds after all the tables had been through the buffet. They also provided the bartending service, and when we ran out of wine early day of, they were able to bring more in so the party could keep running smoothly. When some things inevitably went slightly astray, Crystal worked with us to make sure it did not change our positive experience.

Crystal and team did an amazing job serving our large (200+) wedding reception. From the tastings to the meetings we had, she was super communicative and helpful as we navigated the planning process. Our guests loved the food - it's one of the most common things people have told us since the wedding. It's approachable but different, a fun twist from the traditional fare you may get at most weddings. We wanted to do something unique but still a crowd-pleaser that didn't alienate people with food allergies - and Baba's delivered on that. We're excited to go back and visit soon!

We used Baba's Catering by the Mediterranean Cruise Cafe for our wedding reception in June 2022. Crystal and her staff set up and completed a fabulous dinner, bar and full reception services for us at the Eagan Community Center (which is gorgeous). They provided all the table cloths, napkins and place settings. Everyone was very professional, kind and pleasant to work with and did such a fantastic job. We were all very impressed! And the food was so amazing! We loved everything, and many, many guests raved how delicious it all was, especially the filet kabobs, gyro meat, grilled vegetables, caesar and greek salads we had on our buffet. Everything we chose was super good. We chose to have an appetizer table set with coconut shrimp and fresh fruit, and we served margarita pizza later that evening. All delicious. The bar offerings were also very good, and we were able to serve our guests quality selections. We continue to hear guests tell us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had, and everything was warm, as it should be. We loved that it wasn't what many weddings typically serve, allowed guest several choices (including gluten sensitive items), and was memorable. Crystal also helped us by cutting and plating the cake, and providing extra plates for us to serve a friend's gourmet chocolates. Crystal was very accommodating on our tasting day, and patient with us while we had to reschedule what was supposed to be a spring 2020 reception. Reflecting back, there is not one thing we would have changed. It was fabulous and we would do it all again. Thank you Crystal and everyone at Baba's!

We had The Mediterranean Cruise Cafe cater our wedding this spring and it was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and the quantities were perfect! Working with Crystal, the coordinator, made the experience even better. The staff were professional and quick with the setup and clean up and so accommodating of our laid-back schedule. We even had a couple celiac guests and Crystal went above and beyond to ensure there was no cross contamination. Everyone raved about the food, even the picky eaters. I'd for sure recommend them to anyone looking for a delicious meal and accommodating team of staff.

Baba's and Crystal, the coordinator, were fantastic as our caterer choice. They were easy to work with, always available to answer all of our questions, and very flexible. We were able to bring in bottles of sparkling grape juice for everyone, since it was our favorite drink. We were able to swap out any sides that were listed for others we preferred when choosing dinner options. They solved a small fire on the day when a cake stand didn't show up and improvised a solution, giving us no extra stress at all. And on top of all of that the food was delicious and they were affordable, which may be the biggest perk of them all. 10/10, would highly recommend.

Our food and service from The Mediterranean Cruise Cafe was absolutely amazing. We we’re looking for specifically vegetarian food with gluten free options that tasted good and this checked all the boxes. Everyone raved about the food even people who love meat. Staff were professional and efficient during setup, dinner, and clean up. Crystal, the coordinator I was in contact with, was also amazing and very good with responding/setting us up with what we needed/following up. Highly, highly recommend them for another event and their food is so good we’ve driven down to the restaurant multiple times to have more.

We are completely satisfied with the services provided to us by Baba's catering for our wedding. Our wedding food was one of our top 3 priorities when planning our wedding . We wanted cuisine that we enjoyed that was also unique, filling, and delicious. Baba's delivered and delivered well - under budget! We were instantly sold during our tasting at Mediterranean Cruise Cafe. Crystal was incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, informative, and generous. Throughout the entire planning process, the staff was incredibly easy to connect with, ask questions, and make customizations. We elected for a buffet dinner with a variety of appetizers for cocktail hour. Baba's provided china and cloth napkins per our selection, but they had other options that we could select. On the day of the event, Baba's was the first vendor to arrive at the venue. They were well equipped, prepared, and prompt throughout the entire morning. We never had any stress or concern that our food would be anything less than perfect. The service was seamless and efficient. Baba's staff facilitated the flow of the buffet and were proactive in refilling the buffet stations. They brought enough food to for each of our 250+ guests and were prompt enough with the service that each guest received hot and fresh food. We even had leftovers that went to each of our parents and us. Last, but certainly not least - the taste. Baba's provides an unparalleled wedding meal. The food was absolutely delicious - our guests were raving about it all night. Even now, 4 months later, we still have friends talking about our wedding food. We also love that we can go visit Mediterranean Cruise Cafe anytime to be reminded of our wedding and purchase their hummus in stores! If you are looking for a vendor that will be professional and timely while "wow-ing" your guests, you should look no further than Baba's Catering! Baba's Catered our wedding in May of 2021. The food was awesome!! Crystal was wonderful. I also worked with Jamal and Khalid for payment and they were both also great to work with. Our guests LOVED the food. Quantity was spot on, I think I had about 7 more people than I anticipated for food and we still just enough left overs for a couple meals...

Baba’s catered our June wedding, and the meal was delicious!! We had a lot of guests comment on how good the food was. They also provided the liquor, and I was very happy with the selection they were willing to provide. We had to postpone our wedding from 2020, and Crystal was happy to make all of the changes for us. I would definitely recommend Baba’s Catering for your wedding or other event!

We had pushed our wedding back a year due to COVID and changed the size; Crystal she was helpful and flexible throughout this whole process. Not to mention the food was AMAZING!! We chose Baba's catering to cater our wedding at the Eagan Community Center in August 2019. We had chosen Baba's over other catering options since they had very reasonably priced food and a wide variety to choose from. The day of the wedding the Baba's catering team did an outstanding job setting up all of the table linens, place settings, and buffet. They even brought extra tablecloths for extra tables that we used for our wedding ceremony. The food was incredible! We heard from almost all of our guests that it was a great surprise having such a variety of food. Most weddings have chicken, beef, or pasta. It was definitely unique having gyros. We'd definitely recommend working with Baba's catering.

We went through Mediterranean Cruise for our wedding food and it was so wonderful! Crystal was so accommodating for all of our dietary restrictions (gluten free, dairy free)- it was seamless and so wonderful! We will definitely be using Med. Cruise again for future catering. It was stress free and they took care of everything! I didn't have to worry at all.

I cannot express how AMAZING Baba Catering is! If you are considering booking them, JUST DO IT. They are simply the BEST with the BEST tasting food ever! My friends and family LOVED and adored the food and still continue to talk about how great the food tasted. We even had so much left over food after our wedding that we were able to use it the day after when we had a small family gathering at my in laws (which EVERYONE ate all of it). Crystal is such an amazing person to deal with. I had my wedding at Eagan Community Center and Baba was one of the caterers to choose from. From the moment I emailed her inquiring about the services until my wedding day, she has always treated us with respect, fantastic customer service, and have always felt like she cared about us as clients which is something I value in a business. I just wanted to personally thank you Crystal and Baba Catering for everything you have done for us. From the taste testing, meeting with us to figure out the menu, working with our budget, and taking the time out of your schedule to email us back and forth for months. You really outdid yourselves at our wedding! The food tasted AMAZING (we got SO MANY compliments on the food), the presentation at dinner (loved the little chalk signs labeling the food), the bar, and the cupcake stands were just so beautiful! I was so stressed about how to present our cupcakes and Crystal saved the day by providing us with the stands (and even set them up which the cupcakes were from a different vendor) EVERYTHING was just so good and beautiful. I can go on and on about how amazing BABA is. So if you read my review until the end, go and BOOK THEM for your wedding day!!! :)

We recently had the Mediterrenean Cruise cater our wedding and let me tell you, it was the BEST desicion!!! The staff was extremely helpful, and very polite. They made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it to be. They made sure that our dream wedding came to life. The food was amazingly delicious!!! Every dish was hot and ready by the time we started to eat. There was never a time where we had to wait for more food to come out. The food always came out on time. Every guest gave compliments about how amazing the food was. No one left unsatisfied. My brother-in-law was so impressed that hes also having Med. Cruise to cater his wedding. If youre looking for a great place to cater your wedding or any event dont hesitate to book your catering order, I definitly reccommend the Mediterrenean Cruise!!!

I cannot express enough how incredible the entire experience was when we had our wedding catered by Baba's. The food was beyond amazing and every single of our 250 guests made several comments to how delicious it was. The staff is incredibly professional and went far above and beyond for not only the wedding party but also each and everyone of our guests. The price was more than reasonable and we had everything from appetizers to the main entrée as well as liquor service for only half the price of just an entrée and liquor services as the other caterers offered at our venue. Incredible food, amazing staff, elegant set up, and great to work with!!!!!

So, so glad I chose Med Cruise to host the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. They were thoughtful, accommodating, calm(!), organized. Every staff member was professional, helpful, and kind. The food was fabulous (timely, hot, delicious, plentiful), and the overall cost was much more reasonable than the other vendors I checked out. The setup was not as I expected upon arrival, but they worked with me to quickly re-arrange in a fashion that made me happy. The dancer visited our area (you can say 'yes' or 'no'), and we could open or close the divider curtains to the main dining room as needed. Pretty sure all the attendees had a great time. If you're using drink tix, I suggest letting the guests know before they arrive at the venue... my guests headed to the bar and paid for their own first round before I could hand out the tix! My fault, completely. One last... We had a guest in a wheel chair. Perfect accessibility. Go! Go! Go! to Med Cruise. I double-tipped them. Intentionally. Yes, that good.

Baba's catered our 3 day conference at the Eagan Community Center in April. The food and service were super, and the cost was reasonable. Crystal and her staff are the BEST!

I can not recommend enough Baba’s Catering by the Mediterranean Cruise Cafe!! From the start they were amazing! They answered all of our many questions and had the most wonderful tasting for us. They worked with our set budget so we were able to have amazing food and still have the perfect day. Crystal always responded quickly to any emails or phone calls. The set up at the wedding was perfect and professional. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and how they could get it again. To top it off the sent us a wonderful thank you card which really just went the extra mile. I will highly recommend Baba’s to anyone for any event and we will be visiting the restaurant for pleasure many times to come.

Crystal and Khalid with Baba's Catering were so great! They were quick to answer questions throughout our entire planning process and had solutions to anything that we needed taken care of. The food was great, we had people reaching out to us all week after to find out who catered so they could get more. I can't say enough good things about Crystal, she was on site the day of and her goal was to make our lives easy and that was very clear from the first conversation I had with her all the way through the end of wedding day. If I need catering again, the Baba's team is who I would call again for great food, great problem solving, great customer service and a well trained and thoughtful staff. Thanks again Baba's!

We hired Mediterranean Cruise Cafe to cater our son's wedding rehearsal dinner the night before his wedding, at our church in Minneapolis. Jamal's team arrived early to help set tables. They even asked us for our choice of how we'd like our napkins folded!! Mediterranean Cruise Cafe did an absolutely stunning job on the food. Our guests were lining up for seconds and thirds! The restaurant was so good at estimating our food quantity, we had just enough to pack into a few take home containers to enjoy the next day. Nice to know we did not over spend on tons of food! The service by Jamal and his staff was perfect and professional yet his group was so friendly! They stayed long after our event to help us clean up. They left our kitchen and our venue looking better than they found it. They served our wine for us, with no corking fee for wine we brought ourselves. The Mediterranean Cruise Cafe experience was way above and beyond our expectations. The cost was readily affordable for our event of around 100 guests. They handled our group size like it was a piece of cake. We were really very happy and loved our experience with the Mediterranean Cruise Cafe. We highly recommend them for catering your wedding events!

Hands down the best caterers. We got married at the Eagan Community Center in January and decided to go with Baba’s after they catered my sister’s wedding in June because they were extremely accommodating and have amazing service. For our wedding, they allowed us to adjust our menu accordingly because we have some dietary restrictions in the family which a lot of places don’t allow. ALSO their food is AMAZING. I’ve been to many weddings where the food is just so-so because they are just caterers. But, Babas actually runs a restaurant and knows good Mediterranean food. I’m still getting compliments on how amazing our food was at the wedding, so thank you so much Baba’s! Their bar service was extraordinary at our wedding as well. They allowed us to bring in our own wine bottles and kegs and we just paid a corking fee, which allowed us to stay within our budget. They also set up late night snacks for us per request that we purchased from costco. They are extremely accommodating and friendly, even with a lot of drunk wedding guests ;) We did buffet style dinner and the food maintained its warmth and freshness throughout 200 guests because the cateres are very prompt and on top of things. I strongly reccomemend Baba’s Catering to anyone having an event and especially a wedding because I promise you and your guests will be more than satisfied. "The best wedding food I've ever had." - grandpa, pickiest person in the family. I didn't care what the guests thought of the food, but I did want them to enjoy themselves. I knew the food was tasty, because I had it prior; however, I kept getting caught off guard by people trying to eat and talk at the same time saying, "This food is really, really good." It's true. It was. If you allow Baba's to cater for you, you can expect: - Reasonable prices. We adjusted our menu about 8 times, and they never complained about us snipping our costs, while being extremely accommodating. I never felt like they were trying to sell me anything extra or add hidden fees or anything like that. There were no "surprise" follow up fees afterwards, either. The final price they gave was the price we paid. - Great service The food arrived early, was set up properly, clean, orderly, etc. Everything was at least as good as what was agreed to. They take special requests and adhere to them. - Excellent communication Responses to our questions were prompt, friendly, and direct throughout the process. Overall, I'm pretty relieved we chose Baba's. As a result, catering was one of the easiest and most enjoyable parts of the wedding planning. Highly recommended.

We are so pleased with the Med Cruise and feel as though we made the best choice to have them cater our wedding! The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating and made sure we had exactly what we wished for. They were on time and ensured set up, serving and tear down went flawlessly! We continue to hear from our guests saying that it was the best food they’ve ever been served at a wedding and since we did the buffet there was something delicious for everyone’s liking! Crystal made the whole process so easy! She was helpful even when neither of us were local to the area when we were planning. The food and the bar service on our wedding day turned out even better than we could have imagined. So many compliments on the food! Baba's was great!

We had Med Cruise Cafe cater our wedding and provide bar tending last weekend, and were seriously satisfied! Khalid was great to work with through the whole process. He was flexible and accommodating when we wanted to tweak the menu and was able to arrange all of the linens. He tended bar that night for us and guests found him to be kind and quickly responsive to their needs. We loved that they were willing to allow us to provide our own alcohol. Other service staff were also on top of things throughout the night. Everything went so smoothly the day of, from the early drop off of linens, to the delivery of food, to the service, to the clean up...they were great! The menu was fabulous! Greek salad, falafel, chicken kebab, gyros, basmati rice, pita, and all of the assorted dips and olives! There was something for everyone and everything was delicious. Guests raved about the food and really appreciated that this was something different than the typical entrees that are served at weddings. We would highly recommend having Med Cruise Cafe cater your wedding or other event!

We used Baba's for our wedding last month and couldn't have been happier. The food was good (we got lots of compliments) and they were very easy to work with throughout the entire process. It was nice to have an option more unique than the traditional chicken/fish meals you see at other weddings.

We hosted the groom's dinner for our son at The Meditteranean Cruise Cafe. Everything was delicious! The hot food remained hot and every dish was so flavorful. All of our guests raved about it! (In fact, the food was so delicious and the price reasonable, that we are having them cater a reception that we are having in our home this month.) The staff was attentive to every need. The tables were beautifully set. Everything was ready on time. We were pleased that a PA system and microphone were also available for our use. The owner even stopped by to check to be sure everything was as we wanted and then checked with us at the end of the dinner to be sure we were happy with how everything turned out. My husband and I would highly recommend The Meditteranean Cruise Cafe for any special event or even just a nice dinner out. You will not be disappointed.

We recently had our son's grooms dinner at the Mediterranean Cruise Café in Burnsville. It was perfect! Jamal and his staff are wonderful to work with and Crystal made planning the event so easy. We had great service, the wait staff is so efficient and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. We had close to 40 people so the private area they can provide was really nice. I will definitely recommend to family and friends for any event.

We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was fantastic. They had the room off to side reserved for us so we were separate from everyone. The food was fantastic and no one left hungry!

We held our rehearsal dinner at Med Cruise. I was very excited when my mother-in law chose this restaurant for the dinner because it is one of my favorite places. Our event was perfect and the food was amazing! We loved the atmosphere and our guests had a lot of fun. Also, anytime you are at Med Cruise, you are treated with the best service ever...they make you feel like family. We highly recommend Med Cruise for any event.

Med Cruise Cafe was integral in keeping our costs low for the wedding. They did not charge us a fee to use their private room which seats about 75 guests. The tables were beautiful, but beware that if you use their linens it's white table cloths and red napkins so adjust your color scheme accordingly. The wait staff was incredible and they were receptive to every need including a cake table. They even served the cake for us! It was excellent, HOT, food and we wouldn't have picked any other place to celebrate our reception. They were amazing! At $20 a head, it was a Great deal for a buffet style dinner.
