We had the BEST experience working with Laura at Back Patio! As someone who went into wedding planning feeling intimiated by the vast unknown of the process, I found it immensely helpful to have Laura to guide me through it all. I was planning my north county San Diego wedding while living in LA, so I decided to book the Garden package to get expert insight on local vendors from the beginning. From our first phone consult, Laura was so clear in what the different package offerings covered, what to expect working with her, and immediately got to work to help bring our vision come to life. Outside of our contracted check in calls, she was always accessible via email or phone to answer my various questions or provide suggestions. When unexpected challenges with weather came up days before our wedding, Laura worked swiftly to help us navigate the situation with ease and we ended up having the best day, despite a little rain. Plus, she and Kayla were so kind and friendly, so it made getting to know and work with them such a pleasure. If I were planning another event in San Diego, I'd work with Laura and Back Patio again in a heartbeat!
Laura was incredible and I have already recommended her to many friends! While I myself am a “type A” and have event experience, nothing can prepare you for the number of decisions that need to be made throughout the wedding planning process. Laura and Kayla are absolute rockstars of the wedding planning world! They were with us every step of the way in our planning process and helped us breathe when we were stressing about the small things. Then the day of the wedding came and they kicked it up a notch being absolutely incredible making sure we had everything we needed and made sure our families enjoyed themselves. Seriously two absolutely amazing people that we were so lucky to have as part of our day!
We had a 3 day wedding celebration and believe me when I said Kayla and her crew did such an AMAZING job. If you really want to enjoy your wedding day, they are the best wedding planners to go to. I highly recommend them!

Worth every penny! (Honestly, they should charge more). After every meeting with Kayla, we felt less stressed, more excited about our big day, and confident that our wedding was coming together exactly how we had always dreamed. Kayla perfectly helped us combine our vision/vibe with all the fine details. The final month before our wedding, Kayla was critical in organizing our vendors and timelines and ensuring everyone knew what to expect and that all items were accounted for. The day of, we had no stress or decisions to make, and as far as we know, everything went perfectly! Kayla and the team worked so hard to ensure everything was perfect, and we seriously had one of the best days of our lives!
My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Laura and Kayla planning our wedding! I would say hands down, Laura and Kayla made my wedding day an absolute dream! Above and beyond to the nth degree! These are the girls you want in your corner. They thought of everything and more. They are knowledgeable in the industry and have great connections to pull off magic like finding me replacement boquets last minute. Our wedding felt perfect and we know it's because of how thorough and thoughtful they were. Not only that but their recommendations for vendors made the process so much easier. Everyone was stellar and we and our guests had a blast!
Do yourself a favor and book back patio event design!! Me and my now husband were overjoyed with their service! Any time I was stressed about planning I reached out to Laura and she assisted me in finding a solution and took away any stress. On the day of our wedding we were able to sit back and really enjoy the day as they coordinated and handled everything. Booking BPED was the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning process and I can honestly say I’m sad it’s over because I’ve enjoyed working with them so much!!
Without a doubt THE BEST DYNAMIC DUO for your special day or event. At time when we were searching for an event coordinator or even only a day of coordinator it was honestly so difficult to decide what we wanted to do and what was within our budget.
When we first reached out to BPED, Laura was eager to setup a call and get to know us. I kid you not, after speaking with her, she was such a breath of fresh air, so much weight had been lifted off our shoulders, we knew we had found our team. Not only are they super organized (which I adored), throughout the entire planning process Laura and the BPED team were right there for us, answering every small and big question, offered their suggestions, anything we needed, they were there. They kept us up to date on what still needed to be done on our check list and what items we should focus on in the future. We planned each week and/or month out and never felt overwhelmed. They constantly asked us such GREAT questions on different topics, that truly made our day go so smoothly.
The day of the wedding arrived and there is absolutely no way, we could have done anything without Laura and BPED!! They made our dreams into a reality, the day was perfect, absolutely perfect. Laura always checked on us and asked if we needed anything. There was a constant smile on both our faces and we did not want the day to end.

We highly recommend the Back Patio team. My husband and I are from Florida and they went above and beyond in helping us plan our rehearsal dinner, wedding AND brunch all from such a great distance with such ease. They had so much patience throughout the process, were so thorough, and really advocated for our best interest. They have incredible taste and totally understood our vision and helped it come to life. During wedding day, Kayla and Laura took care of every last detail so that my husband and I could just focus on getting ourselves ready for the big day, which was such a huge relief. I really can’t say enough about how great it was to work with such a professional team and just can’t imagine anybody who could have done it better.

I cannot express properly how thankful my husband and I are that we hired BPED for our wedding. From the moment we began working with Kayla, it was clear she was truly invested in our wedding day. She's an expert in this industry. She provided fantastic recommendations - whether it was for vendors, or for event execution. Throughout the planning process, she kept us organized and on track. On the day of the wedding, Kayla & Laura were rockstars. I did not have to worry about a thing from set up to tear down. As hiccups arose, they handled them quickly and efficiently, without us having any idea that they were even occurring. They had a pulse on every single thing happening at the event, the entire time.
Arguably, the best money we spent for our wedding. They are seasoned, organized, and visibly very passionate about what they do. Thank you BPED!
When we enlisted the ladies at Back Patio Event Design 3 years ago, we had no idea what would be waiting for us in 2020. Laura and Kayla have been invaluable through 2 postponements (due to covid) and life changes (we moved across the country, twice).
I was told when I started planning that having a good planner is invaluable and we've found this to be true in Laura and Kayla. We worked primarily with Laura leading up to the wedding and she has been super helpful with keeping us on track. And we couldn't have pulled everything together on the day of without Kayla, who, I'm sure, helped put out a lot of small fires in the background, which allowed me to focus on enjoying the day as opposed to panicking about trying to coordinate with our vendors. Bonus! BPED has a great inventory of decors that we took advantage of and the option to order customized signs through them – I ended up DIYing some of these elements since I desired a creative outlet, but for those who want a cohesive look, ordering through BPED is a great option!

You should hire Back Patio and never look back! I am so forever grateful for all the help I received from both Kayla and Laura. They are gems and by far the best money we spent on our wedding (ok, maybe tied with our amazing photographer).
I hired Back Patio for their month of services. Compared to most other planners, Back Patio has some of the lowest prices I could find for month of planning. So, it came as a shock when their services actually began nearly a year before my wedding. I met with Laura at least 4-5 times (often for over an hour) BEFORE the month of my wedding.Additionally, Laura went to a venue walk through 3 months prior to my wedding. Laura provided me with such great recommendations, including finding a florist in my budget (which was pretty difficult to find and that florist turned out to be astonishingly amazing).
Laura also took over the reins of coordinating my vendors. I had some issues with my venue/park coordinator and Laura, knowing how frustrated I was, completely took over those communications for me (again, months before what we had contracted for). Laura is easily the most organized person I've ever met; she laid out every single aspect of our wedding minute by minute. She made sure that we got everything we wanted out of the day. Truly, Back Patio's customer service is just unmatched. Planning a wedding is stressful, even if you are pretty low-key about the entire event. With Laura and Kayla on my team, I knew I never had to stress. I was able to let go entirely, because I knew that Back Patio would pull everything off for me.
On top of their amazing planning skills and exceptional customer service, Back Patio handled pretty much all of our signage. I was shocked at how little they charge for this! Many items were free for our use because they were already in the Back Patio collection and for our customized pieces we were only charged for the materials (our giant welcome sign ended up costing $40).
Laura was actually 9 months pregnant by the date of our wedding (congratulations on your baby boy!), so by day of our wedding Kayla took over (along with her assistant Diane).
Our wedding day went off without a hitch. It flowed beautifully and I am sure that wouldn't have been possible without Kayla and Diane. We had a complicated venue with the reception and ceremony being on opposite ends of the Safari Park. I'm sure that less experienced planners would have floundered. Kayla kept us on schedule whilst simultaneously decorating both the ceremony and reception venues. At the end of the night, Back Patio took care of all the clean up.
In addition to their expertise, Laura and Kayla are exactly the types of people you want around on one of the most important days of your life. Laura truly felt like a friend to me by the time our wedding came around. Even though she was approaching her due date, she kept responding to all my questions and emails until the very last second. Kayla is a little ball of energy. She's so happy (but also incredibly professional), it's simply a joy to be around her.
I truly cannot thank Laura and Kayla enough for their incredible work. I simply could not have pulled off our wedding without them.
TLDR: Worth every penny. Laura and Kayla are a delight and you should hire them.
We hired them as day-of coordinators, not as full wedding planners, so I can only speak to that portion of their services; though they did provide an excellent vendor recommendation.
Good Communicators:
We worked mainly with Laura, but email responses were quick; usually next working day (occasionally same day but I tend to be a late night corresponder). They reached out several times between their date of hire and the event to make sure they had all the correct information, and understood what we wanted of the event. They were very clear on what services they do and do not provide, their requirements for meals and safe working conditions, and the payment schedule.
Good Eye For Decoration:
Due to a major snafu, we arrived much later than anticipated; Laura and Kayla had to do pretty much all of the set up by themselves without any direction. They did have a floor-plan, but unfortunately the dimensions provided by the venue weren’t accurate and they had to make some executive decisions on where to put the lounge furniture so it made sense and didn’t get in the way. They did a wonderful job and we didn’t make it easy on them. Laura and Kayla turned on and placed an obscene amount of LED candles (at least 150) and fairy lights and pre-lit garlands, added the provided florals to the table garlands, set out the chargers and menus and place cards, and set up the ceremony space (baring the chairs, that was our rental company). They even moved the welcome book and ceremony decorations to the reception space during cocktail hour so we could get more use out of them and more guests could sign.. Everything was lovely and they worked very hard to make it so. If Laura and Kayla weren’t there to take charge, the whole day would have been about 3 hours behind, and it would have been a disaster.
Problem Solvers:
Overall, they handled most everything without needing my input, but for the major snafu the information and the options were presented to me as a clear this or that scenario, so they were off again and handling it without much delay.
Thoughtful: I was panicking before the ceremony, due to the aforementioned snafu. Not only did they keep everything going smoothly for the guests, Laura also found my best friend and sent her to me to calm me down. No one ever mentioned to me later that they noticed anything had gone wrong. They also chased my husband and I down with a snack tray during couples photos, which was much appreciated since I hadn’t eaten yet that day. They both, Laura especially provided a very calming “we got this” energy when I was being pretty emotional/illogical. By the way: I’m sorry, and thank you!
Payment: Accepted credit cards and provided invoices via Quickbooks. Very easy. We paid in two installments, half when we reserved their services, the remainder the week of the wedding. The cost for their services was very reasonable and I do not regret a cent.
Perks: They offered to make our personalized welcome sign, if we provided them with the materials. We did not utilize this offer, as my sister made our welcome sign, but the table numbers and general signs (pick a seat not a side, table numbers, etc) were lovely; so I’m sure the personalized sign would be equally beautiful. Laura and Kayla generously allowed us to use the general signs along with some décor items (easels, blanket crates) at no extra charge.
Back Patio Event Design was hands down a saving grace for our wedding in October of 2021. Laura and Kayla are fantastic to work with. They listen and make sure to fully comprehend what design and aesthetic that you are looking for in your wedding and make sure to make that happen.
We had less than a year to plan for our wedding, so it was something that we needed to keep up on to get things done.
Laura was fantastic in helping me keep my sanity and keep me on track when I was looking for vendors and kept coming up against a brick wall with everyone being booked (a lot of re-books from the previous Covid year). She was also fantastic the day of helping to herd my wedding party and keep things going before the wedding.
Kayla was great in making my vision come to life with how I wanted my venue decorated. She was great at keeping things moving and on time. I give her super props for helping to wrangle 5 little flower girls before the wedding.
I would most definitely recommend anyone having a wedding or event to contact BPED. I will definitely be working with them again.
Our wedding was one of the first affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and I don't think we would have made it through without Back Patio Event Design.
In fact, one of the reasons this review is so long overdue is because we wanted to make sure that we gave Back Patio the thoughtful, honest review that they deserve.
We worked with Kayla at Back Patio and she was an incredible support throughout TWO wedding delays, countless changes, and her own pregnancy.
Kayla gave us strong guidance and support throughout some of the most difficult times we had preparing for our wedding. She was a powerful advocate for us when we had to work through conflicts with our venue and vendors. She offered wonderful insight for us when we encountered challenges we didn't anticipate.
Recently, a friend of ours reached out to us for vendor recommendations. We had to refer him to Back Patio because they handled everything so well, we're not even sure if there were any conflicts with the vendors.
In short, you can't go wrong with Back Patio. If I could only recommend one vendor from all the ones we worked with, it is - without hesitation - Back Patio Event Design.
I deeply appreciated the entire Back Patio team throughout our wedding planning process -- we had a few road blocks that caused a delay in our wedding planning in addition to covid, but Laura was always extremely accommodating and communicative. Once we got down to the month of, we were paired with Kayla and she was able to take the reigns which was such a relief with everything else going on. There is A LOT of background work that goes unseen leading up to and on the day of the event and they handled it with such grace - I don't know what I would've done without them! A small moment I appreciated the most was when we were on our way over to do the first look, Kayla made sure the moment was just between us and prevented a huge crowd of family from following us. It's little things like that you aren't thinking you need a coordinator for - they have done this so many times before and are prepared for literally any and everything. Huge thanks to BPED!
From the moment we hired Back Patio they were the biggest help. We mostly worked with Laura throughout our wedding planning and she was so organized and punctual. We had multiple in-person meetings and lots of phone calls to go over details for the wedding. I honestly don't think I could have done it without Back Patio. The day of the wedding went so smoothly and Laura made sure everyone was at the right spot at the right time. We brought in a few DIY things to our wedding and she made sure to gather everything at the end of the night and return it to us. I didn't have to worry or stress about ANYTHING on my wedding day/night and that is the dream wedding, right? If you need a wedding coordinator, I HIGHLY recommend Back Patio! They rock!
Let me start off by saying Back Patio Event Design was one of the best things to happen for our wedding planning journey! And it was a journey; we were supposed to get married September of 2020 and we needed to reschedule due to COVID to August 2021. Laura and BPED were instrumental in helping us reschedule with all of our vendors. They also were very informative with all restrictions and guidelines and helped us in the decision making process.
We had the pleasure of working with Laura as our primary Event Director and she was phenomenal! She was always super responsive, willing to hop on a call to chat through things, and had a great list of vendor referrals. And let me tell you, day of the wedding, she ran the show flawlessly! We had a lot of vendors and rentals we brought in that needed to be directed on where everything went. During the last couple of months leading up to the wedding, we met with Laura multiple times and we walked through everything from rental/item placements, personal items, logistics, etc. and I felt so confident in Laura's vision as well as her understanding of my own vision for the wedding. We always felt such relief after meeting with Laura.
The wedding itself was beyond perfect. Every detail that we discussed was executed perfectly. Laura put together an incredible timeline based on what was important to us as a couple on our wedding day. We were able to actually enjoy cocktail hour, we ate dinner (which I've heard can be difficult!), and had hours out on the dance floor. Laura made it all possible for us to soak in every moment of the day and enjoy it with all of our guests.
I will be recommending BPED to every newly engaged couple that I know because everyone deserves to have an incredible planning and wedding experience! If you are thinking about booking them, just do it! You will not regret booking this incredible team!
Working with Back Patio Event Design was the best thing we did while we were planning our wedding. Kayla helped us a lot on going through that wedding planing process. She made these times before the big day easy and stress-free for us. She always came with options and alternatives to make sure we are happy with our choice for the wedding day.

Do yourself a favor and hire Laura and Kayla to help you plan your wedding! Like you, we found them on the knot based on their stellar reviews, and hiring them was hands down the best thing we did. Rather than just month of coordination, they help you plan from the moment you start working with them and are extremely detail-oriented so you feel like someone is helping you every step of the way. We first started working with Laura who did the majority of the pre-wedding planning with us. She is incredibly professional, extremely knowledgeable, and always available and willing to help with even the smallest details. She recommended several amazing vendors, helped with design ideas, and was on top of coordinating via email with them which took a huge weight off of me. We then worked with Kayla for the last month prior to our wedding because our wedding date changed due to COVID. We were thrilled to find out she is just as wonderful. Honestly, the day of our wedding could not have run more smoothly. Kayla made sure all of the wedding party and vendors were prepped properly and even when small issues came up the day of, she took care of them seamlessly-- we actually had no idea there were any problems at all until several days later with her debrief. These ladies could not have been more professional, organized, or on top of things for our wedding. I can't imagine planning this without them. 100% worth the money, if anything they don't charge enough for how far they will go to help you. You will thank yourself for hiring BPED- we could not recommend them more highly.
Kayla and the BP team were nothing short of exceptional to work with! We originally enlisted their help prior to the pandemic and, low and behold, we had to navigate a number of curveballs over 2+ years to finally bring everything to fruition. Through that time, the team was incredibly supportive, provided a ton of advice / guidance, and played a crucial role in keeping us sane during all of the uncertainty.
When we finally arrived at the day of, the BP team's planning efforts led to a FLAWLESS day with everything being executed exactly as we had planned.

This review is long overdue but my appreciation for Laura and Kayla's wonderful planning and coordination has only deepened since my wedding on February 29, 2020. Throughout the wedding planning process, I was able to work with both of them seamlessly. Laura & Kayla gave excellent vendor recommendations, offered the most practical and money-saving advice, and provided design elements for the ceremony & reception from their own inventory, which is classy and versatile. Kayla coordinated our rehearsal with grace and good humor, keeping my wedding stress at bay... and on the day of our wedding, she and her team made my vision a reality so I didn't have to lift a manicured finger! Everything about our wedding was exactly what we envisioned, but even more fun because I could completely relax knowing we were in great hands. I know this dynamic, knowledgeable duo can provide any client of theirs with thoughtful, organized, and personalized event design and since I follow them on social, I look forward to seeing the beautiful events they'll design for years to come.
Honestly, I didn't think I needed help planning a wedding in my hometown. But once I started thinking about it, of course I would need help: umm, I'm now a state away! After researching different planners, Laura was the only person that called back and seemed generally interested and caring about us. I was on it and started a year and a half out
..and trust me, we needed it. Because them Covid hit. And even though the Great Quar, maternity leaves, bride anxiety attacks, venue's changes left and right, Laura and Kayla were there for me 100%.
On the day, even with sudden weather changes, crazy family issues and very untraditional happenings, everything went off without a hitch. it was the best day and I couldn't have done it without them!
Although my wife worked with Kayla and Laura mostly, the handful of calls we did with them planning out our timeline for our wedding were great and very thorough.
When it came time for the rehearsal and event, Kayla was there every step of the way and took care of everything. We appreciate everything they did to make our wedding run smoothly and highly recommend Back Patio for your event/wedding. Truly professional and a blast to work with.
This talented team of woman won't disappoint! We had the pleasure of working with Laura, Kayla, and Cate for our 09.19.2020 backyard wedding. They planned and executed our dream wedding, while guiding us through uncharted territories during Covid 19 to ensure the safety of our guest and maintaining safe guidelines. From day one these ladies were incredibly professional and very helpful. They also have great relationships with other vendors and were able to help us find the right vendors for us to use. Our wedding was absolutely flawless and stress free!
Laura & Kayla are just the BEST!! We planned our wedding during Covid, and these ladies helped to provide guidance as we navigated uncharted territories. We payed for the month/day of package, but Laura and Kayla were still regularly available and extremely responsive when we had questions. Laura & Kayla @ Back Patio Event Design were my month of wedding planners. They did an AMAZING job making sure I had a stress free day. No easy task especially planning & executing a wedding during Covid-19. They were very organized, made sure I knew what needed to be done leading up to the wedding, and did a seamless job coordinating with my vendors. They were also very flexible with changes that were forced by Covid-19 (changing our venue last minute and reception plans). During all this Laura was pregnant and did not complain once. I would highly recommend Back Patio if you are looking for a wedding planner. They will make sure your day goes seamlessly!

We were planning a wedding in under 3 months. I thought I could do it on my own and keep it DIY. I don’t know why as I am not creative and my work schedule was insanely busy. On top of that we were having issues with the venue in regards to set up time. I realized quickly I was in over my head. I looked on the knot and came across Back Patio. I told them what I was dealing with, and came to find out they had worked with the venue before and assured me we can have the day go smoothly even with the time constraints. Having theirs personal input was crucial to the success of our big day. Laura also brought to my attention things I had not thought of like seating arrangements, the horrors of doing your own flowers, etc. She had such wonderful recommendations too. I got our make up & hair, photo booth and florist recommendations from her.
Our wedding day was so much fun. And my family was able to relax and enjoy themselves as Laura and Kayla were on it. They were incredibly organized and their response times are were insanely quick. You are in great hands with them!
We found Laura and her team back in October of 2019 and we're thrilled we did. She got on board with ninety days to go and we couldn't have done it without her.

Laura and her team are absolutely amazing! Leading up to our wedding she made sure I had everything was in order and every single detail was thought of and taken care of. They helped work everything out with all of our vendors to coordinate on the timing of the actual wedding day. When it came to the day of, I didn't have to worry about anything! The team set up our venue and made sure everything was exactly how I envisioned it. They even made sure my husband and I got food at the reception! I cannot recommend Back Patio enough - they give you one of the most valuable things on your wedding day - the ability to enjoy your day and not stress about all the small details. My (now husband) and I had an absolutely delightful experience working with Laura + Kayla! They worked with us to make our dream wedding a reality from beginning to end. Their attention to detail along with their constant stream of ideas and solutions made all the difference! Being the creative types, we wanted to have a very unique wedding with lots of personality. However, we are NOT organized and were getting very overwhelmed with the planning process from the get-go. Laura and Kayla put together easy to follow checklists, pulled together documents full of vendors in their network, checked in on us to make sure we never missed a deadline, and gave us lots of Back Patio Event Design templates to help us with our guest lists and seating charts, etc. Also, anytime we had an idea for an activity or station we wanted to offer, all we had to do was run it by Laura + Kayla, and in no time they would break down the costs, options, show example photos of set-ups, and even have alternative recommendations!
On our wedding day, we didn't have to worry about a single detail. Through our planning process, Laura would say that "the only thing you should worry about on your wedding day is having a glass of champagne in hand, and enjoying every moment." And that is exactly what happened.
Everything was decorated and set up perfectly without us needing to be involved - it was almost like a surprise walking into our beautiful venue after the ceremony! Laura + Kayla orchestrated and managed everything and everyone SO perfectly on our wedding day, that my husband and I were shockingly able to have alone time even amidst our 80+ guests, were able to stay on-schedule with our photographer to take some breathtaking sunset shots, we were able to sit down and enjoy our wedding cake, goof around and participate at all of our activity stations, and most of all cherish that time with our closest family and friends, without needing to worry about anything other than just '...having a glass of champagne in hand, and enjoying every moment.'

Laura and her Team (Jen and Diane were who we also worked with) were absolutely wonderful and so helpful with planning a wedding! They really go above and beyond! I had the great opportunity to work with Kayla and Laura after a co-worker recommended them to me for my wedding. They are hands down, no questions asked amazing on all levels. From our initial phone call to the end of my event that night, they always had my back. They rolled with all of the chaos of my big family and they did it effortlessly! After reflecting on our big day, my husband and I are both in agreement that hiring Back Patio was hands down the best vendor decision we made for our wedding. From the moment we began working with Kayla and Laura we felt comfortable and confident that our day would be exactly what we wanted.
We worked mostly with Kayla and she was incredibly organized, enjoyable to work with, so helpful with any questions we had, and not to mention went above and beyond on our wedding day. She was in close contact with all other vendors and our venue prior to and during the wedding. We had a few meetings leading up to the event and close contact in the weeks prior to the event. The organizational documents were incredibly helpful to ensure all of our bases were covered.
We wanted a laid back event where we could truly enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about anything but taking it all in, enjoying each other and all of the people there to celebrate the two of us...and that’s what we got!
When I saw the venue all set up the day of, it was exactly as we had discussed and looked even better than I had imagined it would! I had lots of “DYI” things to set up along with extra things from the venue and it was all organized wonderfully.
Kayla kept everything and everyone moving and got us where we needed to be when we needed to be there. At one point during dinner I even saw her pouring water and wine for guests. She even delivered me Champagne when I was out. Definitely not in the job description but it means so much that she would care enough to do whatever it took to ensure everyone was happy and taken care of. She also brought my husband and I dessert in every flavor while we were out on the dance floor to make sure we had our favorites. Finally, she helped my family organize and load all of the gifts, cards, and DIY pieces, which was incredibly helpful. I’m sure there were a hundred other things she did throughout the day and entire process that we didn’t even see but we are so appreciative of it all!
With all of that said, we had the wedding of our dreams and were able to completely enjoy every moment due large in part to the work Kayla did. We can’t say enough good things and give definitely give Back Patio the highest of recommendations.

PERFECTION! I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM MORE THAN 5 STARS! If you are lucky enough to work with them everything will be flawless and stress free. From their keen eye to detail, impeccable timeline, 100% taking on all vendor everything, communication and their ease and commitment to making your day perfect is second to none. They made my vision a reality and I have to say they made the wedding! I couldn't imagine doing an event without them. I never needed to worry about ONE thing the whole day- I arrived and simply enjoyed myself. Even after the wedding I didn't worry about a single detail-I knew they had it all handled. They were truly essential in turning my vision into so much better of a reality! I am not super creative and knew I wanted a very "SOCAL" wedding but that was about it. They were able to be there with us every step of the way from visiting locations and asking the appropriate questions, to designing the center pieces, to the logistics on the day. I dont know what I would have done without them! They allowed for my husband and I to truly enjoy the planning experience and our day as they took care of everything on the back end. HIGHLY recommend them!!!!
These ladies are INCREDIBLE. Laura and Kayla's attention to detail and organizational skills are amazing. We had our wedding on a private property in the middle of nowhere so resources were not that of a professional wedding venue to say the least and yet, they brought my vision to life and executed our ceremony and reception flawlessly. Not once during our day did we fret about little and/or big things and actually got to soak everything single second in. We even got to eat dinner haha! It was amazing and I honestly do not think it would have happened the way it did without Laura and Kayla. I HIGHLY recommend this duo for your wedding and/or event!
I have nothing but great things to say about Laura and Kayla. Not only did my wedding go off flawlessly, they entire planning process was seamless. I have never met more organized people in my life! Besides how fun they are, my favorite part of working with them were the vendor suggestions they forwarded on. I did very little research but instead gave them my ideal budget and they found me a florist, a cake company, lighting and table rentals. Also their response times are insane. You are lucky if you can get them!
These girls are AMAZINGGG! I hired Laura and Kayla for my wedding because they were recommended by a friend. They did such an amazing job! I felt so close to them by the time the wedding came around they felt like family members and guests of the wedding! From day one they listened to every detail I wanted and made sure to bring it to life. There was so much to balance between all the vendors and coordinating deliveries they handled everything with grace and a calm demeanor as if they have done it millions of times. These girls were the reason my wedding day was absolutely perfect. I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding day rather than dictate where everyone needed to be. They even cleaned up after the event and made sure to save cake and other important things we don't think of after our big day. They were so easy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone. I personally think we did not pay them enough for all the hard work they put into the event! I am forever grateful for Kayla and Laura for making our wedding day the most perfect magical day!!
My great friend and colleague, Laura, threw me the most amazing baby shower at the beginning of this year! Laura and the Back Patio team she had that day completely transformed a converted barn into the 'Winter White Baby Shower' of my dreams! I love an all white event and I know it can leave something to be desired if not done well, but Laura absolutely nailed it!
