The best wedding venue in Key Largo!! We booked our wedding a year out and got married on 03/10/2024. We had an intimate wedding of 20 people and had our ceremony and reception on the Hammock beach.
I’m a little bias, but it was the most BEAUTIFUL venue I’ve ever seen. So much charm and so unique. They have so many spots for photo oops too, it was a little windy and rainy before our ceremony and we still were able to get beautiful photos around the resort! All of guest said it was the prettiest venue they had ever seen! We had decorations and florals, but you hardly need them because the venue is stunning by itself!
We had both our rehearsal dinner and wedding at Bakers Cay and worked closely with Magda. She was amazing! She thinks of every little detail, and when it came to the weekend of she was easily reachable and had every detail covered. Bakers Cay also sent over a list of recommended vendors and we used a few of them and were really happy with the recommendations!
The food and service throughout our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception were also incredible.
Overall, we loved our wedding weekend at Bakers Cay and would definitely recommend!
We had an incredible experience as wedding vendors at Pelican Club! The team treated us wonderfully, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Everything ran so smoothly, allowing us to focus on capturing those special moments.
The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views that enhance any celebration. It’s the perfect backdrop for couples looking to tie the knot.
We will definitely be recommending Pelican Club to future couples. Thank you for a fantastic experience—we can’t wait to work with you again!
Our wedding at Baker's Cay was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning ocean views and the pristine, sandy beach. The resort's location is truly idyllic, offering a perfect backdrop for our special day.
The staff at Baker's Cay went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their attention to detail and commitment to making our day magical was evident in every interaction. Magda, our wedding coordinator was truly amazing, handling everything with professionalism and a warm, personal touch. We felt truly cared for and stress-free throughout the entire planning process (including multiple site tours, tastings, and last minute accommodations to make the day flow easily even with weather/rain concerns).
The ceremony took place on the beach, with the sound of the waves providing a serene and romantic ambiance (in addition to our string quartet). The setup was breathtaking, with elegant decorations that complemented the natural beauty of the surroundings. It felt like a scene from a fairy tale!
The cocktail hour on the beach was equally spectacular. The outdoor setting allowed guests to enjoy the sunset. Our reception was unimaginable - we had views of the ocean, cold sparks during our first dance, and throughout the night, and coordination with a great floral team made the Cayview South Ballroom look like an enchanted garden. We dined on the most delicious food we've ever tasted. The culinary team crafted a menu that delighted all our guests, with fresh, local ingredients and exquisite presentation; they were very attentive to our recommendations and requested changes from our tastings. The service was impeccable, with staff attending to our every need with a smile.
Our guests are still raving about the experience, many saying it was the best wedding they've ever attended. The combination of the beautiful location, exceptional service, and attention to detail made our wedding day unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue.
If you're dreaming of a beach wedding, look no further than Baker's Cay. They will exceed your expectations in every way, making your special day truly magical. We are forever grateful for the wonderful memories created here and highly recommend this stunning resort for any couple looking to tie the knot in paradise.
Any questions?
Baker's Cay exceeded all our expectations as our wedding venue. We toured over 30+ wedding locations all over the US and none felt the same as the feeling we had stepping into Baker's Cay. We visited the Baker's Cay resort the first time with no formal tour and the events team was so willing to show us around and answer all our questions. We worked closely with Josh, who seamlessly took over halfway through our wedding planning without any hiccups. He would take time to answer our questions, customized each of our events to our specific needs, and was there every step of the way. The entire team, from servers to bartenders, were genuinely excited for our wedding celebrations. They were incredibly friendly, making us and our families feel special throughout our whole weekend. Also, everyone raved about all the food which was really important to us and hard to do when catering large events. We're eagerly anticipating our next visit to Baker's Cay!
We were thrilled with Baker's Cay Resort for our daughter's wedding and rehearsal dinner. We picked this location sight unseen, which was a little scary! We couldn't be happier with the result! The resort is beautiful, the food was delectable, and the service was excellent...and we haven't even talked about the setting! The property sits right on the water. Wow, wow, wow!
Magda was a positive, delightful person to work with at the resort. The rehearsal dinner utilized the lower deck of The Rocks and the Tiki Bar. We also hired Bob Lyons to play steel drums, which really set the tone for a fun, festive, beach event.
The bride and bridesmaids enjoyed relaxing in the "getting ready room" and having food/bevs while getting hair and makeup done. (Tip - pack a small speaker to enjoy some music while everyone gets ready.)
The wedding ceremony was on Hammock beach, which was stunning and unique with all of the mangrove trees. We were pleasantly surprised that the sand is harder packed than expected at Hammock Beach, which made it very easy to walk on!
The cocktail reception was on the Sunset Terrace (THE VIEWS!!!) then we moved to Cayview North ballroom, which was the perfect size for our 60 person wedding. The events were magical and exceeded our expectations. Our team of Magda (Bakers Cay) and Lisa Winfield (Cherish Your Vows wedding planner) made everything go smoothly! DJ Russ Ginsberg bought a perfect energy and nearly every guest danced the night away!
My wedding was and will continue to be the most amazing day. The entire weekend was perfection. Joshua and the entire team at bakers cay were on top of everything and made sure to double check all of the details.
The food was amazing! The scenery was amazing! The entire experience was amazing! I honestly wish I could live that day over and over. I had wedding jitters but at no point was I worried about the venue or small details.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Words will never be able to fully convey my appreciation and adoration for the team.
Words can not express how grateful we picked Baker's Cay for our wedding. All our guests are still talking about the days we spent with their families at the resort. Amanda, Josh, and all the Cay's staff were welcoming and offered excellent service. The food was phenomenal! Getting married on the beach was my favorite part. You won't regret getting married at Baker's Cay.
Anna was absolutely amazing to work with. We are from Chicago and had an intimate wedding at Bakers Cay on 10-10-22. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we envisioned for our wedding day. Anna answered all of our questions in a timely fashion and helped ease our worries being so far away. I 10/10 recommend hosting your wedding day at Bakers Cay!
Our dream wedding! 💗 There's a lot of beautiful venues to choose from in the FL Keys, but Baker's Cay is a whole vibe! It's very private & surrounded by so much nature & they brought that into the design of the resort. The rooms are beautiful, the restaurant, bars, beach area, etc. It really is like it's own little oasis. I'm so glad we brought out friends & family here for our wedding. Everyone truly had an amazing time. Anna, the catering director was amazing at keeping in touch with me and making sure I was happy with what we were receiving. She never made me feel like I was a bother when asking questions or clarifying things. The staff were great at the reception. My guests said the bartender was amazing & the food was amazing as well which was super important to us! Everything turned out beautiful. This place is such a gem!
Pros:
-You could not ask for a more beautiful, lush, breathtaking venue to have a wedding at.
-The coordinator Anna was an absolute angel and so efficient in emails and responding to any and all vendors appropriately.
-The menu tasting was so fun and delicious. When I mean the best wedding food I’ve ever had, I am dead serious. The seared mahi and short ribs were insane. It was so awesome that we didn’t have to find catering since it was all included with the wedding package they offer.
Cons:
-Despite asking for an early check in for the bride and groom, and I asked a month in advance….when we had a wedding rehearsal at 4pm, our room was not ready until 3:30pm, when we arrived to the resort at 1pm.
-They did not give us our reduced resort fee for being Florida residents as stated on their webpage….and charged us full price.
-They could not accommodate us with a single suite for our full stay and we had to change rooms half way through our stay.
-Regardless of us booking a room block… they failed to mention until we wanted to add more rooms that the room price will change. So for the same exact room that a wedding guest paid $490 a night for was now $760 a night. We recommend using the knot for specialty negotiates group rates when that starts to happen. Rooms were cheaper on there.
-You can’t pay for your room block with Hilton honors points. Pretty bummed to find that out when I initially tried to pay for my stay because they advertise so much for being able to pay for your stay with points.
So over all, would I recommend getting married here? Yes!! But would I recommend staying here? Probably not.
Response from the Vendor on 03/16/2022
Karina,
I was delighted to read your comments about the venue, service and food you experienced during your beautiful wedding journey at Baker’s Cay. It was certainly a pleasure working with you and your family during this very special occas...
ion. I appreciate the personal note you sent me as well – helping couples bring their wedding vision to life, is one of the things we love most here at Baker’s Cay!
Regarding the rooms, we are so sorry that we did not have the availability to accommodate your requests for early check-in or extending your stay dates when you made those requests. I would welcome a call with you to review these concerns, and to provide you with more information on how our leisure Florida Resident Rates and Hilton Honors Point reservations work outside of our group rate agreements. I look forward to connecting with you soon.
The entire Baker’s Cay family wishes you and Dan much joy as you celebrate your new beginning together. We hope to see you back at The Cay sometime again in the very near future!
All my best,
Anna Patterson
Director of Event Sales
This venue is gorgeous - like many others in the Florida Keys but two things set it apart... 1) their floor-to-ceiling window ballrooms giving you unbeatable views while still staying cool in the Florida heat and 2) ANNA! Anna Patterson is the event manager you will work with and she is EVERYTHING. Anna is what I liked to call our wedding rockstar. She made miracles happen like putting together a last minute bridesmaid bouquet minutes before the ceremony when we found out we were one shy! Anytime a vendor had an issue with something, Anna smoothed it over - she is a total problem solver!
Further, I am a "COVID-bride" and Anna was there every step of the way to help with the crazy transitions between not only our first postponement (which was nearly a year later), but also with our second. Once more, she did it with grace and empathy which is saying a lot since everyone in the industry was panicked. I heard horror stories from other brides and their venues - not at Baker's Cay! They really did their best to accommodate us in all aspects. In particular, Anna always made herself available and addressed my many (MANY) emails and questions. I am what you call a "Type-A" personality (hence the lengthy review LOL). I am pretty meticulous when it comes to details so I know I wasn't the "chillest" bride to work with, but Anna handled everything in a highly professional manner. She never made me feel like I was a nuisance or too much to handle. If you are on the fence - go with Anna!
Anna at Baker’s Cay was simply the best ever! She took care of us and all of our guests so well even though we had a relatively small wedding. Baker’s Cay and all of the event spaces are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I wish I could get married there all over again.
Please please select Baker's Cay as your Keys venue! It is perfect in every way. I loved getting to work with Anna, she's incredible, and the views are magnificent. Anna and the rest of her team are true professionals! The moment I walked into Baker's Cay they took care of absolutely everything so that I could enjoy every moment of my wedding! Baker's Cay provides so many options to customize your wedding to your liking. They have beachfront locations, outdoor reception space as well as indoor reception/ceremony spaces that highlight all the glory of the keys (sunset views at start of reception!). I wish I could relive my wedding, I had such a perfect time!
Beautiful venue, amazing service, professional and attentive to the very end. Thank you Baker’s Cay!!!!
We had the most incredible experience this weekend for our wedding. Baker’s Cay is an absolutely beautiful resort and every detail was perfect. We hosted a welcome reception, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and farewell brunch. We had the same team of people serving us and working with us for all of our events and they were hands down the most attentive people we’ve ever encountered in the service industry. Anna was amazing for coordination at the venue; she took care of everything I asked for and I asked for a LOT. She was so patient and kind throughout the entire weekend. The banquet manager and service staff were all incredible. I can’t say enough amazing things about our experience and neither can our guests. Thank you so much!! We can’t wait to come back and visit.
Baker's Cay is a beautiful location for a wedding venue. The resort is located right on the water and has many amenities including fishing, kayaking and other fun events provided by the resort. The event staff were great and were incredibly helpful in streamlining the decisions for the wedding. The hotel is relatively all inclusive and covers catering, cake, officiant, and provides basic decor for your wedding.
One of the nicer aspects is the flexibility of the event staff. Our initial wedding ceremony was to be a beautiful beach ceremony however the weather proved uncooperative and the staff was able to quickly adjust and use a different ballroom that had a beautiful view of the water in the background.
The only reason we put 4 instead of 5 stars is that there was a slight mixup with the appetizer orders and the salon on site was not very accessible for our guests. Overall the staff was extremely helpful and enhanced the experience for us and our guests.
We are incredibly happy we chose the Hilton Key Largo Resort! To start, the property itself is beautiful and relaxing. Most of our family was from out of town, so having our room block, ceremony and reception all in one location was a HUGE plus and so convenient, especially for the wedding day. The Hilton made the reservation process very easy for us and our guests. The entire hotel staff was very accommodating, and the Waves Beach Bar was a hit with our guests throughout the wedding weekend. Our coordinator at the Hilton, Tina, was phenomenal. Tina--- we couldn’t have done it without you, thank you so much! Tina was professional, organized, and on-top of every single detail, big and small. Any question my mother, mother-in-law and I asked her, she never once said no to us and always went out of her way to accommodate us. Since we did not have a wedding planner, Tina played a huge role in helping our family make sure everything went perfectly for our special day, which it did. The food was amazing! Best wedding food we and our guests have ever had, hands down. The bar staff was impressive – they were quick, personable, and there was never a line at our bar the entire evening. It truly was an amazing wedding weekend. Thank you to Tina and everyone at the Hilton for making our perfect dream wedding possible!!
The Hilton Key Largo was the PERFECT place to have our wedding. Everyone from the wedding coordinators, the front desk staff, restaurant staff and room coordinators were so organized and helpful throughout the entire wedding process. When we arrived they were kind and welcoming to all of our guests. I would get married here 100 times over again!!!
Ann and her team were a dream to work with. Nothing was stressful. From the moment we walked in to talk to them about the idea of hosting the wedding at the Hilton to the day of everything ran smoothly. Ann and her team went above and beyond for any little thing. The property is beautiful and the staff is super friendly. My groom and I are in the food industry and we have a high standard of quality of service and the dining staff was amazing. The food was wonderful, the room picturesque, and the staff was fantastic.
Ann at the hilton is amazing. She was so on top of everything as everyone during the wedding was great. all the guests couldnt stop talking about how much fun they had and the bartenders were on top of their game.
I got married here this past weekend and it was absolutely fantastic! Ann was our on-site coordinator and she was wonderful in making sure everything was taken care of and executed beautifully. Since it was a destination wedding, I was nervous in not being able to control every detail but I didn't even have to worry because Ann is a pro! From our welcome dinner to the ceremony to reception - I was blown away how gorgeous everything turned out. Donna handled our room blocks and was very accommodating and helpful which I really appreciated since we had 90+ guests! As for the hotel - the grounds are gorgeous and a stunning place for a wedding with the combination of beach/sunset views as well as greenery and nature trails (perfect for photo ops). I will note that the rooms do need updating so if possible, splurge for an oceanview room. The rest of the hotel staff are also very friendly (Michael, Judith - thank you! Also all the bartenders - Jason, Matt, JP, others I can't remember because they are great bartenders haha). Lastly, an extra bonus is they allow dogs so we were able to have ours be part of the weekend as well. :)
My husband and I had our dream wedding. Despite the heat, our wedding weekend was perfect. The resort is big enough to house most sizes of weddings. Ann was very helpful with planning. Brides, if you have a question that needs answering soon, call before emailing. She typically answers. They are a well oiled machine at the Hilton Key Largo. The ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner ran smoothly without any issues. The preferred vendor list was helpful, and the vendors we chose were just as wonderful as the resort. Neither one of us had ever been to the resort before our wedding weekend which could be nerve wracking; but trust me, it was everything I wanted it to be. Most hotel food is just OK. Not the case here. Both rehearsal dinner's and the reception's food were delicious, and I received many compliments on it. Our rehearsal dinner was done outside on the upper pool deck, and our reception was in a ball room. Both were nicely decorated with their simple "house decorations." There was no need to upgrade or bring your own unless you really wanted to. The price I was quoted was very reasonable. The cake was made the way I wanted it with 3 tiers of different flavors and fillings. The only negative is that there is zero cell reception on the entire resort. As a vacation spot, that would be a bonus. However, for a wedding where you need to communicate with family, bridal party, and guests, it was difficult. My husband came up with the suggestion of having a master room list of your guests. That way you could call there room number when needed. If you are looking for a destination wedding, I strongly recommend The Hilton Key Largo. Most of our friends and family planned a mini-vacation around our wedding, so we got to spend a lot of time with our guests and not just a 3 hour reception.
I'll start with the good, nay great, by saying the day of was beyond perfect. We had no hitches the entire day. The staff, particularly catering, were beyond wonderful. The food was great, bar tender was on point, we really have no complaints and were so happy with how smoothly everything went. We had our ceremony on the private beach and reception on site - the transition was perfect. Our coordinator was the right amount of around checking in but giving my family and I the privacy that is nice to share on a wedding day.
Everything else: so-so. My best friend was late for the wedding, because the hotel hadn't cleaned her room for over a day, she had no towels or toilet paper. My mother in law sat on the beach in a folding chair because the staff couldn't be asked to have non-guests leave the property (guest pay an extra resort fee btw). Guest services in general was pretty bad - the actual worker bees were great but management was terrible. The Hilton guest services lied to my guests about the room block, lied to us about after wedding transportation on the island, and generally mislead everyone regarding the island shuttle. When I tired to call anyone it took multiple tries as the phone operators would randomly transfer me. More than once I heard "well this is the Keys," which I understand, we wanted a beach wedding in the Keys. That being said, none of the tourists are from the Keys and they had traveled from all over the U.S. and World to be there - you are not getting the Hilton that you would expect, that is for sure.
In a nutshell, there are MUCH better places for your Keys beach wedding. If that catering staff could be planted elsewhere it would be a slam dunk.
We really loved them!
We recently had our wedding at the Hilton & we couldn't have been more impressed! Our ceremony was outside on Hammock Beach & our reception was in the Bayview Ballroom. The resort is very private & intimate & the views are stunning. We really didn't need much decor because we didn't want to take away from the natural beauty of the resort. The food was AMAZING - we opted for stations in lieu of a more formal plated dinner. Ann, William & the rest of the staff were very accommodating & did a great job making our day perfect! We would absolutely recommend this resort & we can't wait to go back!!
I had my wedding at the Hilton Key Largo and couldn't have been happier! Ann and her staff took care of everything! My mom and I had made most of the decor ourselves and Ann and her staff set everything up. It was perfect. The resort has a beautiful private beach for outdoor ceremonies and the ballroom has huge windows overlooking the ocean. The feel is timeless. From the moment I arrived I knew that this was our venue.
We got so many compliments on the venue and people were shocked to know that not only did they provide an amazing menu but also our beautiful and delicious cake! I would recommend this resort to anyone!
We just wanted to say a quick word about what an awesome time we had here and how friendly the staff was. We love the Keys.
My husband and I recently wed at the Hilton Key Largo. The resort was beautiful! Carin Kronheim, the wedding planner at the Hilton, did an amazing job with our big day! She took care of every detail, and our entire day was relaxing, beautiful and fun! This resort would be great for both intimate and large weddings. I can't wait to return to this resort and start planning our vow renewal there!
The hotel was great, wedding was perfect! The ceremony was at the beach followed by the reception in one of their banquet halls. Locations were decorated perfectly and the food was great. I didn't have to worry about anything, catering manager made sure wedding ran smoothly and everything was taken care of.
Words can't describe how amazing our wedding day turned out to be. Ann and the entire staff were wonderful to work with and took great care of us. I wouldn't change a thing and am so thankful I discovered this little place of paradise.
The resort grounds are beautiful for pictures. We had a couple of issues with the resort staff, but luckily there were more understanding, accommodating, and apologetic members of the team that were able to help rectify the situations. We chose the Hilton after months of research, and their site fees are much more reasonable than others in the Keys.
This hotel is a dream come true for a destination wedding. I had a casual beach wedding and beautiful reception in a ballroom overlooking the Florida keys bay. It was amazing.
The place was beautiful and Wendy was an amazing help! She handled everything so that all I had to do was enjoy the experience!
Choosing to have our wedding and reception at the Hilton Key Largo was really one of the best decisions we have made. I have never been to a resort with more caring staff before in my life; we really felt like they cared about all our requests and always had our best interests in mind. The coordinators and catering managers were incredibly flexible and understanding when we had to make last-minute changes to our plans. They are all very well-organized and detail-oriented, making sure we understood what was going on throughout the entire process and making sure it was exactly what we wanted. I couldn't have asked for a better outdoor venue, the mix of nature trails and beach look amazing in pictures - and the ballroom overlooking the water with AC was just what we needed afterwards! We plan on coming back to this resort as often as we can in the future, and sincerely hope you choose to have your next wedding here - you won't be disappointed!
Other brides should be jealous of how perfect everything went! I planned my wedding without even seeing the resort or meeting my event planner Wendy. Every detail I requested and wish I had was done, and taken care of without any difficulty. All I can say is it was a dream come true wedding for me!
Great location and wonderful staff!!!!! I would do it all over again there
We had a destination wedding and everyone at Hilton made it a breeze. Wendy was amazing. She made everything I dreamed of came true. All of the staff at the Hilton in Key Largo made all of our guest feel right at home. The view from the balcony for each room is breath taking! None of our 75 guest wanted to go home after such an amazing weekend and we owe it all to the staff at Hilton. Have your wedding here if you are thinking about the Keys! Absolutely stunning!!
You really cannot go wrong with the location and the hotel's outside decor with protected mangroves, paths leading through the forest down to the beach, sunset, etc. We had our wedding in November and the weather was warm enough to be able to take advantage of all that the Keys has to offer. However, up until the day of the wedding (which ended up being fabulous where everything went off without a hitch), I was super disappointed with the hotel. Planning a large-ish wedding (140 people...they can accommodate 200+) there was a nightmare and the wedding planner from the hotel I was dealing with was not super responsive. (Sometimes, I would send an email asking about two things, and she would respond to one, but not the other. I learned to have to send emails with only one thing in them at the time. Plus, details we had talked about were completely different later so I had to go over previous emails to figure out what happened). The room reservation system was totally screwed up. They did not tell us that there was a Nascar race happening that weekend, which meant that the hotel filled up really quickly. They had originally told us to book a smaller number of rooms because we would always be able to add more rooms later..wrong! We had to reserve blocks of rooms at other hotels. There is not room enough to write about all the issues with room reservations, which kept happening up to the day of the wedding. People who had made reservations were told that their reservations could not be found. I would say this was a fluke, except that this happened at least 5-10 times. Also, even though they knew that my mom and I were unhappy with what had been happening with room reservations, they made no effort to make it up to us when we got there, and in fact, put my parents in the room as far away from the bridal suite as possible.
BUT. The day-of service was wonderful and the food way better than I thought it would be. The director of catering was wonderfully accommodating--making sure that vegetarians could get a separate entree even though it was buffet, making small, but really thoughtful changes that were not just about having us pay more (like having drinks butler-passed as opposed to self-serve at the cocktail hour). The wait staff the night of were considerate, helpful, and responsive--really excellent. The pieces came together. I would have rated them 1 or 2 stars had it not been for how everything came together at the end and I would rate them 4-5 stars for the day-of service and catering.
We had our wedding and reception on their semi-private beach, which I prefer over the private beach. They closed down half the beach for us. The private beach does not have any palm trees and we think that the semi-private beach looks a lot nicer too. We had a great experience. Everyone was nice, friendly, and very helpful. The food was great too. They made efforts to customize everything to our wishes. Plus, the hotel is on the Gulf-side, which means that we were on the sunset side. We got amazing pictures.
You can not ask for a better location, but the service was not great! The food was amazing and I loved every place in Key Largo we went. But I strongly suggest you hire a wedding planner. I wish I would of hired one even if it was just to over see the day of the wedding. The hotel "planner" was very disappointing and hard to deal with. She does not have an eye for detail among many other things. But the hotel is nice and the rest of the staff there were great! If you love Key Largo this is a great place to have a wedding, just do yourself a huge favor and hire a wedding planner! You will save yourself headaches and heartache and might just have a wedding of your dreams there.
An amazing place to have a wedding. I attended a wedding here and it was just gorgeous. I would say this place is in my top 5 places.
The hotel location was beautiful! We got married on Hammock beach, which was very private. The weather couldn't have been better - it was sunny and 75 degrees. Our guests loved the relaxing atmosphere. Definately would recommend this location
We had our wedding September 25, 2010. We live in Miami and wanted to do a semi-destination wedding for our guests to stay with us for the weekend; we went down to the Keys in February 2010 and only saw one other property before finding this hidden treasure, and we signed a contract right away! The quality of all the aspects overall were superb; value, service, food, staff, they trully exceeded my expectations in everything. The catering department was excellent to work with, they always had positive answers for all my questions, requests and many changes. If you're out for your wedding at the Keys do not miss the opportunity of celebrating that special day at the Key Largo Grande Resort, I can assure you they will go the extra mile to make sure your event is as beautiful and stressless and perfect as you've always dreamed of. And the place is a gem, you have the beach atmosphere but at the same time so many trees makes it feel like a private island, beautiful!!!! We will be going back there to celebrate our anniversary dinner party!
Overall, my experience getting married at the Key Largo grande was fantastic. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were nice, the staff was accomodating, the water was GORGEOUS, the wedding planner, Charlene, was FABULOUS and I would recommend it to any bride looking into a beach wedding. We planned our wedding completely remotely from Atlanta and never even visited prior to our big day- so you could imagine I was nervous, but things went great. There were a couple of hiccups along the way, which can be expected, but the ceremony site was truely amazing, the reception looked absolutely stunning and we had such a blast. It was the best day of my life! Plus, our friends and family got to meet and mingle and play on the beach, then our after party continued till 5 am at the waterfront bar. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Key Largo Hilton and LOVE Charlene!
I got married here in January and the weather was perfect. We had our ceremony on the private beach and our reception in the Cypress Ballroom. Everyone loved the food and atmosphere. The service was great, too. It's a beautiful and relaxing resort. All of our guests had a great time except that one of my bridesmaids had her camera and some money stolen from her room. Like the other review, the only other issue was that our room hadn't been cleaned the day of the wedding. Also, we didn't book a separate room for the groom on thewedding night, but he just stayed in his parents' room. Charlene and Joan were very accomodating and I would love to renew my vows there one day.
The entire property was beautiful. The event planner was very helpful. Everything she did was perfect.;The resort didn't automatically reserve a seperate room for the groom the night before the wedding. The suite hadn't been cleaned the day of our wedding, so we went back to a room where 10 women had been getting ready earler that day.
