g we could have imagined. My husband and I genuinely felt like royalty the entire evening! Our glasses were never empty, the staff checked on us constantly, and everything from a dropped drink to the smallest details were handled instantly and effortlessly. Every little detail that we had hoped to be included at our reception was brought to life in the most amazing way! Because of the amazing team, we were able to completely let go, be present, and soak in every second of what was truly the best night of our lives. The atmosphere was absolutely magical — the dance floor was packed all night, laughter and joy filled the room, and our guests have not stopped raving about how delicious the food was. What stood out most was how cared for and celebrated we felt. We never once felt rushed or overwhelmed, and every single staff member made us feel supported and special. They even helped us beautifully recreate a meaningful photo from my parents’ wedding, which meant the world to us. We truly felt like part of the Balcony Ballroom family, and that feeling will stay with us forever. If we could relive our wedding night over and over again, it would be at The Balcony Ballroom without hesitation. The entire experience was nothing short of spectacular, and we are forever grateful for the memories they gave us. Vanessa even zip tied my bustle to my dress while I was dancing on the dance floor because the hook the broke. When I tell you, they gave me nothing to worry about and the entire night felt like a movie. The food was out of this world. There was so much food we only wish were able to try everything. But we did not leave hungry. They have so many protocols that made our day memorable, and honestly stress free. We still stressed! When I got engaged, I knew I didn't even want to look at any other venues. Vanessa, Jay, Mike, and Chef Ryan exceeded all of my expectations and made my wedding dreams come true. They were extremely attentive and have this down to a science! They are absolute experts in making sure everything is 1,000% perfect, stress-free, and so memorable for all of our guests. Chef Ryan's food is incredible and unmatched by any other venue around. As I have also grown up in a family business, I have always admired Vanessa and Jay for following in Mr. Johnny and Ms. Valerie's footsteps and carrying on a wonderful family legacy, while also continuing to beautify and modernize the business along with the changing times. It is so rare these days to find a place like The Balcony that genuinely cares about all of their staff and customers. Mike has been with The Balcony since my parents had their reception there over 40 years ago - a true testament to how amazing this family business is. I will forever shout from the rooftops that The Balcony is THE place to host any type of event - from weddings to reunions to work events, they can do it all, and you shouldn't look any further.

I attended a wedding at The Balcony in 2022 and was convinced that was the place for my daughter’s wedding. More than half of our guests had never attended a wedding with this type of venue. They had been to small town church/country weddings. One of the groomsmen said when he walked in was “I think I’m in the wrong place”. These guests were blown away!! Even our photographer, who is based in Lafayette, told us that he did 132 weddings last year and none of them came close to comparing to The Balcony. I have one more daughter that I hope will get married too and there is no doubt where her wedding will take place too!
