Baldwin and Rose: Event Enthusiasts

Even though I did not work with Halley for very long, she was absolutely a joy to work with! I reached out to her pretty close to my wedding date because I was feeling overwhelmed and did not know my next step. She jumped in like she had been with me from day one. Her energy, personality, and passion are only a couple of things that make her so great! She instantly helped lift the weight of my wedding off my shoulders! I thought I could do it alone, but now my first advice to any newly engaged couple is to hire a day of coordinator and not just anyone, I would recommend Halley 1000%. She works with you, checks in on you, and she makes you feel more like a friend than someone who is just their because it's their job. I can't thank her enough for all of her help and support!

I never thought we’d hire a wedding planner, but working with Baldwin and Rose was the best wedding choice we made! From the beginning of our first Zoom meeting to the moment she helped break down the chairs at the end of the night, Halley went above and beyond to help us have exactly the wedding we wanted. Halley connected us with vendors we never would have found on our own who completely suited our budget and vision, thought of all the details we didn’t, and calmed our considerable nerves throughout. (She also made sure we actually managed to eat!) We’re so grateful that Halley’s holistic approach helped us create a joyous, quirky weekend that allowed us to maximize time with our loved ones.

I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Halley. She got our vibe right away and was able to execute on our vision and expectations for the day and for the events preceding and following the wedding. By the time Halley came on board, all of the vendors had been identified, but she was able to step in towards the end and establish herself as the point of contact. Our wedding was a three-event affair; we had a welcome dinner the night before and a farewell brunch the morning after. All events were held on the property of my in-laws and required a lot of DIY logistics planning and set-up. Halley was right there to take care of everything from laying out the linens and setting up the decor, to moving the chairs from the dining tent to the ceremony site and back again, to getting the favors and the cupcakes set up, to making sure the other vendors had everything they needed. Because my focus was heavily centered on the wedding, I didn't really have a lot of bandwidth for planning the before and after events. But Halley and I had a brainstorming session where we came up with a simple but lovely theme that worked wonderfully across all three events and was true to the aesthetic I was after. Our wedding was pretty low-key as weddings go, and we didn't have (nor did we want) a lot of the traditional or the trendy bells and whistles. Halley got that immediately, she respected that, and put her whole self into ensuring we had the day we wanted. It was clear she really cared about us as people not just as clients. My now-husband said to me the morning of the wedding (so after the first event of the weekend) that he was so glad I insisted on getting a wedding coordinator, and not only that, one who really knew her stuff (not his exact words--his were a little more colorful). Best wedding gift ever! Halley was worth every penny of her very reasonable rate and I highly recommend her services.

We weren’t planning on having a wedding planner but as we said the other day to each other, “If we didn’t have Halley we would have quit.” She made us so comfortable and had so many great ideas! She connected us to local vendors that fit our style and personalities so well. She was organized, sweet, supportive and fun! She even earned the GOAT wedding planner award at our wedding :).
