Our wedding was a three-event affair; we had a welcome dinner the night before and a farewell brunch the morning after. All events were held on the property of my in-laws and required a lot of DIY logistics planning and set-up. Halley was right there to take care of everything from laying out the linens and setting up the decor, to moving the chairs from the dining tent to the ceremony site and back again, to getting the favors and the cupcakes set up, to making sure the other vendors had everything they needed. Because my focus was heavily centered on the wedding, I didn't really have a lot of bandwidth for planning the before and after events. But Halley and I had a brainstorming session where we came up with a simple but lovely theme that worked wonderfully across all three events and was true to the aesthetic I was after. Our wedding was pretty low-key as weddings go, and we didn't have (nor did we want) a lot of the traditional or the trendy bells and whistles. Halley got that immediately, she respected that, and put her whole self into ensuring we had the day we wanted. It was clear she really cared about us as people not just as clients. My now-husband said to me the morning of the wedding (so after the first event of the weekend) that he was so glad I insisted on getting a wedding coordinator, and not only that, one who really knew her stuff (not his exact words--his were a little more colorful). Best wedding gift ever! Halley was worth every penny of her very reasonable rate and I highly recommend her services.

She got us organized, created to-do lists, delegated work to our parents, called vendors, booked them all, and sent us a detailed invoice at the end. I should also mention that we were actually planning TWO weddings, one local and one 3,000 miles away. So everything she completed had to be done twice, and totally remote for half of it. It all went off perfectly and we are so happy with the results! Halley herself is gregarious, meticulous, easy to work with, and the most thoughtful person I've ever met.
