We booked our wedding two years in advance and our experience all the way through the end of our wedding was impeccable. Brooke was extremely communicative, patient and honest with us. It comfortably fit 194 guests and the dance floor was big enough that people didnt feel crowded. The food was all delicious, and there were so many options. My husband and I had a pescatarian wedding for religious reasons, and Daria and Ott worked closely with us to accommodate this. Absolutely recommend this venue!

They were a huge factor in how smoothly and wonderfully our day went. Big thank you to Michelle for helping to bustle my dress (it took 5 people)! My family wishes they could add Ott to the family, he was truly wonderful :) The food was exactly how it tasted in both of my tastings and the crab cakes were some of the best that I've ever had in my life. We felt that the money spent was absolutely worth the price, as there wasn't another venue that we looked at that could have done what they did. The amount of food that was included at cocktail hour and the quality of it, is not something that you could find anywhere else in the city as well as the wonderful and numerous menu selections that were available. The team was also amazing in handling allergies, as well as catering to the bride and groom and the wedding party, making sure we were hydrated (with both water and alcohol) and food in the bridal suite before and after the ceremony, I truly could go on and on, but I would recommend this to anyone I know getting married, and my husband and I are hoping to be able to return as guests!!

e loved that cocktail hour occurs on the mezzanine overlooking the ballroom and that there were two bars on each floor. We worked with Michelle on curating our menu and finalizing our details. Ott and his staff were very accommodating and made sure everything was perfect for us and our guests. Barbara took care of us all night and made sure we were eating and enjoying our wedding. Everyone we worked with at Finley were so kind and truly wanted to make sure we had the best day ever. We ultimately decided on Finley because having delicious food at our wedding was important to us. Our guests could not stop talking about the food at cocktail hour and dinner, the desserts in the dessert room, and the service they received. It was the best decision booking with Finley because they are the best at what they do. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding dreams come true.

The day flowed smoothly due to the experience and professionalism of the staff. The food was amazing. All of our guests commented on how this is not "normal" wedding food! and food. Walking into Ballroom at the Ben for the first time you’re really wowed by how beautiful it is. The staff at Ballroom really make sure the day is all about you and stressfree. We worked with Michelle from day one. She answered all our questions and communication with her was always easy and quick. On the day of, Bride and Groom are given a butler/head waitress who takes care of you all night. Barbara, our waitress was so helpful! She always had drinks and food ready for us. The Matire D, Ott, has been with Finley for years. He will make sure everything runs smoothly and on time. We truly had an amazing day and I attribute a lot of that to how wonderful Ballroom at the Ben staff and Finley catering were.

She made us feel so comfortable . When we met Ott, our maitre d, I felt totally confident with his direction. He clearly has been doing this job for a long time and made every detail run smoothly from start to finish. There is no need to hire a day of event planner as Ott took care of every detail. The head waitress Barbara is another gem of the Ben. She took great care of the bridal party in the bridal suite and served them a wonderful spread of food and drinks before the wedding and was always present throughout the reception to fill any request. I have had so many comments from guests that this was the nicest wedding they have ever attended. Every aspect: the beautiful setting, the attentive service and of course the amazing selection of the best food was outstanding! I am so happy that we chose this wonderful venue for our special day!

Brooke Brewster who was our wedding coordinator could not have been more helpful and efficient. His personality and humor were much needed and welcome when you're stressed out worrying about all the little details. And I can't say enough about his staff! All throughout the night and the next morning at breakfast, guests continued to rave about venue, the food and the staff. We also took advantage of the After Party, the Ballroom offers. Again, it was such a great experience. We had karaoke at the after party - which I would definitely recommend. The guests loved every minute of it, including more food!! They couldn't believe how much food the venue offered from cocktail hour, to dinner to desserts to late night favorites at the after party! I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who wishes to give their children the wedding of their dreams! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

If there is anything I’ve learned about the wedding planning process, it's how vendors and venues handled Covid weddings–we were one of the lucky couples because we booked with Finley. They were flexible and understanding from the beginning. Not only was it such a stress-free process during such an uncertain time, but the end result was AMAZING. Finley really gave us everything we wanted and more. The venue was gorgeous and the food was TOP NOTCH. The staff was simply the best; Ott and Barb really allowed us to enjoy our day without stressing about any detail. It’s been over 2 months since our wedding guests still rave about the food and venue space. From beginning to end, working with Finely was such a breeze–no hidden fees and no page left unturned when it came to details. If you’re looking for a stress-free wedding experience, look no further than Finely (all of their locations are beautiful btw). I promise, they will not disappoint.

When it became clear the quarantine would encompass our Friday, July 17th wedding date, we were told we could take a Wednesday or Thursday in 2020, but Fri/Sat/Sun in 2020, and any day in 2021 would need to be renegotiated to a higher price. We were told we couldn’t change venues, and under no circumstances could we reduce size/price, and or switch to an outdoor execution of our special day. We had mutually agreed to postpone our wedding, but when Gov Wolf of PA opened up the State in early Summer, The Finley’s tried to force us to have our wedding on its original date/terms and were threatened with legal action if we chose to fully cancel. When Mayor Jim Kenney closed the city down, The Finley’s went dark on us and refused to communicate ignoring all emails, calls, and letters. After 3 months we only received one response from Michelle Finley VP “All deposits are non-refundable at this time.” Ultimately we have had to go to court to get any service or response from The Finley’s. From our perspective, these are fair weather business people who have no commitment to your special day and have little understanding of common practice within the entertainment and hospitality industry on how to handle any serious issue that may arise with your wedding. In our opinion, during the Corona Virus, the result of the Finleys’ policies have been to take advantage of those less capable of handling their wedding in the midst of a pandemic. Forcing many to switch to weekday weddings at original contract prices, and giving other clients back little or none of their money, while on the other hand receiving relief from the State and accepting roughly $1,300,000 dollars in PPP loans from the Federal Gov Philadelphia Inquirer Jul 6, 2020. In summary, we were told we had to pay the same price or higher for something we believed to be far less in value than what we had already paid. To date, we haven’t been shown that the Finleys spent any of our money towards any items related to our wedding, and didn’t just merely pocket our deposits as profit. The venue itself is beautiful and the extra additions the Ben provides makes it truly a wedding to remember. The staff was all friendly, helpful, and professional. What you get at the Ben for the price is well worth it. I truly feel like every penny I spent was worth it and went to good use. I can’t recommend the Ben and Finley Catering enough, they made my wedding unforgettable.

What really made our decision easy, however, was Michelle Finley and the entire Finley Catering team. Even without knowing in advance that Finley is a family-run company, you would know it upon first meeting Michelle. It’s hard to describe, but the moment we met her and Ott we felt comfortable. (Ott lives up to all that is said about him – in the best way!) I know everyone probably says that their venue was easy to work with in order to realize their ultimate vision but in this case it’s really the truth. I admit that we were picky about wanting specific menu and drink options – Finley was the only place we talked to who made us feel not only that we could easily make everything happen, but also they did so without gauging us on the price of added specialty items. They understood what was important to us; Michelle was super organized and throughout the whole process – leading up to and including our wedding day – there was nothing we had to worry about. When it comes to Finley it felt like we were family and they would treat us as they would any member of their family on their big day. We could not say enough great things about Michelle, Ott, the Ben venue and the entire Finley experience. It really was the night of our lives because of them and we are so thankful!

We had a 300 person wedding, so there was a lot of planning and details that went into this. The fact that Finley lets you take control of the wedding, ad help make it your own, while also making sure everything goes smoothly is exactly why we picked them. We were a Russian wedding, so vodka and caviar on the tables was a must, and Finley had no problem with that. I would recommend them 100%!

Catering do our wedding was just a dream come true. They were always there for every question, every concern, and truly made planning the wedding EASY. Their business is truly top notch and all around class. It was truly the best night of my life and better then anything I could have ever imagined. I feel like I was treated like royalty that night. The cocktail hour food and the main course is something that is still being talked about by our family and friends three weeks later. Our family and friends are still calling us weeks later to talk about how amazing the night was and to say it is the best wedding they have EVER been to.
