If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would. They were absolutely horrible to work with. Every time you go in you talk to a different person who tells you something different than the last. We were told 5 different prices to tuxes would be ranging from $35-$125. Every groomsmens tux was ordered the wrong size so the day before the wedding we were driving to the distributor to get the right size because they would not do so even though they had previously said they would. They also did not give one of the groomsmen his shoes and the day of the wedding we were rushing there to get them during business hours and they had the entire shop locked up. Not to mention one of the employees told us it would be ok to return the tuxes on Tuesday and a different employee rudely called saying there was no way anyone had said that. They tried to charge us extra for a couple stains that could easily be removed. Please do not go through them, this experience has been absolutely awful and I do not want any other bride to have to deal with this. I do not know how they are still in business.
We were looking at the last minute for a florist near our venue to supply flowers for our centerpieces. We just wanted something very basic...roses and babies breath. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable regarding the amounts we would need. They even offered to color some of the babies breath to add in a splash of "our color" to the centerpieces.
They were willing to deliver for a nominal fee and arrived ahead of schedule. We visited their store a couple days before, looking to get some mums. They didn't have what we needed but recommended that we go to Horrock's. Their store is very cute and we ended up buying a very beautiful plaque for our memorial hutch. Really enjoyed working with them. Highly recommend this family business.
Norman was wonderful to work with and his work is beautiful. Our wedding was out of town and he drove all the way to St. Joseph on his own time to familiarize himself with where our hotel and venue were. He also came all the way out to my house to pick up his vases the day after the wedding. I was given many compliments on how beautiful the flowers were. We will use him for our floral needs for as long as he is in business.
Our colors were very muted so that the flowers would be the focal centerpieces of the ceremony and reception... and they were. Mr. Barlow is a wonderful, kind man to work with and Shelly is a genius when it comes to arranging bouquets. Our flowers turned out so much better than the Pinterest pictures I had to describe what I wanted. Everything was delivered to the church for us, didn't have to worry about a thing. We also purchased the groomsmen's suits from Barlows... there were a few minor issues but they were taken care of immediately. Barlows provides excellent quality services at very fair prices.
I was a little nervous to have lilies in my bouquet after reading many reviews on other florists about poor quality or the buds not being open. The staff at Barlow was very friendly & helpful. They had great suggestions & when my flowers showed up on time the day of my wedding, I was definitely impressed! The centerpieces were set up perfectly, and Lilies were in bloom. Definitely would recommend to future brides - they took care of everything!
My flowers turned bout beautiful. However, it was not exactly what I had ordered. all of the bouquets had to be fixed the morning of my wedding. The corsages turned out perfect. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
