Barn 1888

Barn 1888 is a wonderful venue with everything you will need for your special day - it'll go smooth no doubt. They have a great communication system and are available by email and in person whenever needed. They are so very well organized and are open to your wedding day vision. They keep everything on track so your day will be relaxed and enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful any time of the year!! Our family enjoyed a June wedding on a Friday night and it was the best day! Our guests had a wonderful time and were impressed with everything we did. They have partnerships with a variety of amazing vendors that will provide you with everything you need for the day - catering, florist, photographers, etc. Now, one of our friends are booked at Barn 1888 after seeing our wedding.

As the father of the bride I couldn't have been more happy with the venue that our daughter chose, Barn 1888. Danielle and Bryan always got right back with us for any questions we had. They were wonderful to work with. They offered a listing of vendors for food, DJ, photography amongst others that made it very easy for us. During the day of the wedding they were available and ready to assist. The area outdoors where the ceremony was held was absolutely gorgeous! The landscaping and the flowers surrounding the area were top notch. I would recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend this venue! They went above and beyond with communication. They were so very helpful the day of the event. And they made sure all of our needs were met. We recommend this place for any type of large event! It’s such a beautiful place and very very well kept!

Barn 1888 is amazing, we highly recommend them!! Bryan and Danielle were so great through the whole process, fast responses, very organized, and help with set up and clean up!! The venue is so beautiful and a great set up, AC too! All good things to say, if I could get married all over again I would definitely do it here again and I hope I can experience a wedding here again!

Danielle and Bryan were amazing!! They were so responsive and helpful with everything, and made our day run very smoothly. They went above and beyond. The venue itself is gorgeous, and we got so many compliments on it. It had a ton of photo ops and we are so excited to get our pictures back! We stayed at the farmhouse with our entire bridal party and it was reasonably, massive on the inside, and perfect for all our needs - especially so we didn't have to drive! We had an amazing experience and highly recommend this place and the family that runs it!

We held our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception at Barn 1888. The venue itself was perfect for the vibe our daughter wanted - from the outdoor ceremony on the lawn, to the dinner in the main barn, to the dancing and bar area which naturally overflowed into the outdoor spaces over the course of the evening. It was perfect. And our family and friends all raved about the facility and the services - just perfect. Someone asked a week or so later if anything had gone wrong and the honest answer was no. We used one of the venues recommended caterers, Saladino's, and the massive charcuterie spread during cocktail hour and the barbecue dinner served buffet style was delicious - we received many compliments on the food. The bar service and table wine service was provided by the Barn1888 crew and they were attentive and ready to serve from the beginning. We also used other recommended vendors and were happy with the services provided. The Photo Booth from the DJ Moment's in Time Disc Jockey was a huge hit for young and old alike. Bryan and Danielle were there throughout the event and we're sure helped ensure our daughter had the perfect day. They were easy to work with and very responsive. They supported the walkthroughs, the beverage tasting, and the setup as expected and were flexible in their scheduling. We also used many of their available decorations and signs during the event which was also very helpful. Highly recommend the Barn 1888!

My husband and I loved working with Barn 1888 and would recommend them to anyone! They were quick at responding to any questions we had, worked hard to help make our wedding everything we were hoping, and knowledgeable and organized with all things wedding. This venue and the host are beyond amazing. The facility’s and grounds are maintained meticulously. Bryan and Danielle go above and beyond with their helpful suggestions, insights and with their many wedding experiences, saved us many a flunder on our special day. I can’t even begin to thank Barn 1888 enough for helping me make all my dreams come true at our wedding. First of all, the grounds are stunning! The barn itself has this homey family feel that was perfect for what we wanted. They manage to combine the country feel with elegance in all the details you’ll find in the property like the chandelier in the dining room, the furniture, and the beautiful flower gardens throughout. I am not one to gamble. Living in Michigan we never know what the weather will bring. It was a plus that the venue is heated so I never once worried about the weather. What made this venue stand out to us is that it’s family owned and operated. We didn’t get passed one from rep to rep. We worked with the same people throughout the process. They were knowledgeable, kind, and rapid to reply to questions through the planning process. They show that they care about and love their jobs through the careful upkeep of the barn, the cleanliness every time we were there, and by going above and beyond to help us during the planning when we had questions. I can’t recommend them enough. We had the best day here! Thank you guys.

I cannot say enough about this venue! We booked it a year ago and my daughter just got married in September and we do not have one regret! From the start Danielle was sweet and quick with communication and granting our every request. Barn 1888 is so beautiful inside and outside. The inside has so many nostalgic decorations you must look everywhere and take it all in. The upstairs is elegant! It is not your average barn. The bridal suite is so pretty and warm and welcoming. The outside is impeccably landscaped! Bryan was so helpful in changing anything we wanted and even had a golf cart to help with elderly relatives. The chapel had me in tears! The 4 bathrooms were fabulous for our 170 guests. The bar service was quick and professional and there was never a long line. My daughter had her dream wedding day at Barn 1888!!

Barn 1888 exceeded our expectations when it came to our big day. Not only were they their leading up to the day answering all my questions, they were there the day of if we needed anything! The barn is impeccable and well taken care of. They also have many different decorations left from different weddings you are able to use which is very helpful! Danielle and Bryan make the day as stress free and possible and are the best vendors we could have asked to to work with!!

Barn 1888 is above and beyond the most beautiful location for any couples special day. The grounds are stunning with lots of locations for special moments, yard games, and photos. The Barn is well maintained and has two floors for dining and entertaining purposes. Beyond just being a venue, Bryan and Danielle are remarkable hosts. They were so helpful and supportive all day long from hanging flowers to setting up(and taking down) our very heavy carriage doors. Even more, they host weddings so often that their advice and wisdom helped us make this day perfect in so many ways. If you are looking for your venue...look no further, this is it!

The fact that they have extra decorations and that they are so helpful made planning so helpful! We used a lot of vendors off of their preferred list and that has helped so much!! The fact the Brian and Danielle keep up the barn is amazing! Danielle is a nurse and she’s absolutely amazing!! The fact that she could get up at 4 am and then be at the barn early in the next morning for a wedding is insane!! They really take such care of their barn! What made me choose the venue was how stunning the grounds are and that the owners are very helpful during everything! I will absolutely recommend this venue till the day I die!!

I have done hundreds of weddings over the years as a vendor myself and I knew from day one that this was the perfect place for us. This is by FAR the best Barn Venue in Michigan. The owners are what I would call “Type A” people. The landscaping is impeccable and everything is kept in tip-top shape. They will work to make your dream wedding a reality. They were super organized and had great communication throughout the entire year. Danielle was super quick to respond to all my emails (within 24 hours). They set up all the chairs and tables for the wedding and made an entire seating map for me to do the seating chart. With my husband being from a farming family and living only 15 minutes away, Barn 1888 was an easy choice. We love the idea of being able to drive by and show our future children where we got married ❤️

Hands down the best wedding venue! Danielle and Brian work so hard to make and keep the grounds spotless and beatuiful. We recieved nothing but compliments from our guest about the beatiful venue. I truly can’t say enough amazing things about this venue, Brian, and Danielle! The barn is absolutely stunning and so well cared for! The natural outdoor landscaping paired with the warm and cozy indoor area created the most romantic space for our big day. Brian and Danielle were flexible, organized, and very easy to work with! We definitely made the right choice and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect combination of an indoor/outdoor wedding.

Barn 1888 is a beautiful wedding venue and Danielle and Bryan have put their hearts and souls into creating a very special space for your once-in-a-lifetime event. As parents/family of the groom, we had the privilege of staying on the property in the farmhouse. This provided a peaceful, comfortable and extremely accommodating space for our jouful gathering. The beds were comfy, the water pressure good, the gathering spaces and kitchen generous and the claw foot tub a real treat. The barn is gorgeous and everything about it and the grounds made the wedding and reception feel magical. Excellent attention to details and prompt, conscientious communication. We highly recommend Barn 1888!

Our daughter was married 6/10/23 at Barn 1888. We had checked on several venues in Michigan and toured 12 of them. Barn 1888 is an absolutely beautiful manicured venue! Everyone asked how we found it. The owner’s Danielle and Bryan are exceptional, professional and knowledgeable host. All the clear and timely communication was greatly appreciated. A shout out to their bar service and bartenders too! Take a tour, it’s worth the drive from any location!

We just celebrated my daughter’s wedding at Barn 1888. It was truly a perfect day at the most beautiful venue. The entire experience was seamless. The owners, Danielle and Bryan, are FANTASTIC! I absolutely loved this venue! Everything was beautiful and went smoothly. They even let me bring my horse to ride down the isle on! Our dogs were there for the ceremony as well. It was a chilly day and they had really nice heaters on in the barn for us. The staff was friendly and attentive and did a great job of cleaning up as the night went on. We didn't have any issues the whole day. We had plenty of time to set up everything the morning of and they were there to help the entire time from open to close. Getting everything ready up to the wedding day was very well organized and planned as well. Danielle likes her spreadsheets which was very appreciated by me! We were asked to clean up decorations a little early and many guests thought that meant the reception was over and started to leave. That is my only "complaint" that really isn't a complaint because my husband and I were very ready for sleep and to be off our feet by that point!

I cannot recommend this venue enough! I fell in love with this venue from the pictures online, but in person, it was so much better! It is simply amazing. Brian and Danielle do an amazing job with how they run their venue. They are very organized and helped me prioritize what they needed from me without me even realizing it! They don't overwhelm you with information and were always prompt in answering my questions. They have put A TON of work into making the venue look amazing and even in October, the landscape was gorgeous. They did all of the set up and tear down of the venue and even helped with things the day of the wedding. They are full service owners and it made my life so much easier. I cannot tell you enough how amazing this venue and the owners are but you should definitely consider them as an option!

Picking this venue was the best decision we made during the wedding planning process! After meeting Danielle and Brian, we could just tell they were people who were well organized, communicative, and had put a lot of heart and soul into Barn 1888! What clearly separates this venue from the others, besides the venue being absolutely gorgeous, is the owners! They are the type of people you want to work with when planning a wedding! They communicated the entire time we’re planning the wedding and were super helpful with any questions! This is HUGE when planning a wedding! My wedding day was absolutely perfect!!! And they went the extra mile to make that happen! All my guest raved about the venue and how awesome it was! My friend told me she wanted to just lay in the grass because it was the nicest grass she has ever seen! The take such good care of the venue and it shows! The host couple was terrific to work with! They were there the whole time on our wedding day. Even though it rained the day of our outdoor wedding, they were prepared and were able to get the wedding going once the rain stopped. The bridal suite was impressive, it had lots of space to get ready and a private bathroom. They have great landscaping and this space is so beautiful that we barely had to decorate besides the centerpieces on the tables! They let us use extra decorations that they had and responded quickly when we had questions. At the end of the wedding night, they even helped us pack up our decor so that my family could continue to have a good time. The layout of the place was also very nice. People could hang out inside, outside, upstairs, or downstairs, but no matter where they were, it still felt like we were all together. A lot of my guests told me they appreciated the layout and loved how unique it was! Overall, this was an amazing place for us to get married and I am so thankful that we chose Barn 1888!

I learned that weddings can be super stressful with all the little details that you usually don't think about. Brian and Danielle made it so it was not stressful. I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue with more amazing people. I have dreamed of getting married in a barn since I was 5 years old. Barn 1888 was more perfect then I have ever imagined. We just had our wedding at Barn 1888 this past weekend and I just have to say that Danielle & Brian are wonderful! Danielle was so easy to communicate with during the whole planning process, and they were fantastic during the day of. They spend so much time making sure the venue is perfect and it does not go unnoticed. I've told them before and I'll say it again, the landscaping is unreal, I have never seen anything like it. There were several vendors we didn't know who to use and they provided a preferred vendor list right away & we were able to find our caterer and DJ that way! Highly highly recommend this venue!

Our daughter & son-in-law were married here on Friday, July 29th 2022. We cannot say enough great things about this venue. Bryan & Danielle were so easy to work with and are very accommodating. The grounds of this venue are also very well maintained and make for great wedding photos. We also rented the farmhouse on site for our out of town guests. We couldn't be happier with how the day went.

BEST DAY EVER! We got married in June at barn 1888. From the first day we saw the venue to the day of the wedding I had all but great things to say about the venue and the staff! Danielle is very responsive and was flexible with anything I wanted for my day. She was also there anytime I had a concern about how things would roll throughout the day and gave great advice on what she has seen work well in their space. I had set up appointments to view the venue and anytime I requested she made happen. Being a Friday night wedding we got to set up all our decor prior to the rehearsal dinner which made the morning of super easy! The property was spotless everything from the barn, grass area, and farm house was clean and ready to go for us. The bridal suite was a perfect size for all my girls and party members to get ready. We had 2 hairstylist and a makeup artist and they had plenty of room to work while also having enough space to socialize with my girls on the morning of. The day of everything was so smooth! Barn 1888 knows what they are doing to make a wedding just be a celebration! The outdoor chapel ceremony space was gorgeous! Talk about some amazing photos!! As for photos there are so many different spots on the venue that we utilized to get great shots! I am in awe of the photos!!! The reception and dinner went so smooth as well! We picked nighthawk catering from their preferred vendor list and EVERYONE loved the food. Between the caterer and venue They knew exactly how to set up to make sure everyone got food timely! The barn was on top of it as well. They were all friendly and fully stocked! We utilized the yard to have yard games and had a live band which I think really gave such a beautiful touch to our reception. Walking out and seeing our friends and family gathered on the back lawn enjoying ice cream, yard games and live music will forever be a core memory for me! 10/10 recommend Barn1888!

Aaron and I has the pleasure of holding our wedding at barn 1888 on June 25th, 2022. I spent weeks searching for the perfect venue in southwest Michigan. The moment we arrived for a tour of the venue, my heart was set. Barn 1888 is absolutely beautiful all on it’s own- inside and out. We didn’t want to deal with decorations and that was made possible because of the amazing restoration. Aside from it’s stunning appearance, it had incredible features. The bridal suite was so pretty and had all of the amenities necessary for makeup, hair, lounging, and three breastfeeding mommas! The new cocktail area was such a hit for our guests who wanted to be away from the sun when it was warm, or wanted a conversation area without missing out on the views of the dance floor. We loved being able to offer some of our special friends and family the opportunity to stay with us in the AWESOME farmhouse. It was such a nice feature for us to be able to walk across the grounds to our lodging after a night of partying! Speaking of the grounds-you can tell Danielle and Bryan poured their time and passion into the landscaping. Words and pictures don’t capture it-you just have to go and see for yourself. Every detail and vision we had for our special day was made possible because of Barn 1888 and the hardworking family behind it. From carting our grandmas around in the golf cart, to opening the gates as I walked down the isle, it was all handled seamlessly. I could not have imagined our special day anywhere else because our day was perfect. If you are considering their venue-your search is done. Say yes to Barn 1888!

We had our daughter's wedding at Barn 1888 on Sat. 6/18/22. This venue is phenomenal. From the meticulously manicured grounds to the beautiful flowers to the gorgeous barns you can tell that no detail is forgotten. The owners are constantly caring for this venue and it is obvious. You will not find a nicer setting anywhere. Bryan and Danielle were gracious hosts from the start of the day until the end of the night. Everything ran so smoothly and Bryan and Danielle were available on site the whole day to help. Thank you Barn 1888 for creating a magical day for our family.

We toured 2 wedding venues. This was the first one we toured and I fell in LOVE with it. We toured the second one but I already had our minds made up that we were going to get married there! The owners were amazing from the day we booked it from the day of our wedding. Every time I emailed or texted with a question she was quick to respond! When it came our wedding day they helped in soooo many ways. We were the last ones to leave our own wedding cas we stayed and chit chatted with them for a while! If you want a GREAT venue for your big day I HIGHLY recommend Barn 1888.

If you are debating on a venue, pick this one. It is wonderful. The venue itself is beautiful, but the work that Brian and Danielle put into it really shows with the landscaping, the chapel and wood doors in the ceremony area, decorations inside and out, lights, heck even the grass is perfect. Danielle was amazing from our first visit, she is so sweet and answered any questions we had and was always available by email and responded so quickly (which is a major plus when you’re a stressed bride😃). Of all the vendors I had booked for my wedding, she was definitely the best at communicating!! The vendors they recommend for food, music, etc. are all wonderful as well and the process was easy. Brian and Danielle were both present the entire day of the wedding to ensure everything went smoothly and it did. If I could redo my wedding day again I wouldn’t change a thing!! This place is wonderful and you will not regret choosing it🙂

As a fellow wedding vendor, we were very excited to work our first wedding at Barn 1888! They did not disappoint. The venue is stunning, the staff is wonderful and attentive and overall we had such a phenomenal experience. This venue was out of the way for us for sure, however, the distance was WELL worth it. Not only is the drive out to the venue gorgeous, but the venue itself it absolutely breathtaking. The attention to detail, the photo opportunities, the flexibility, and the hospitality were absolutely remarkable and my groom and I were so incredibly happy with our experience with this venue. Our guests could not say enough great things about this venue and we are so thankful to have found them. They are AMAZING.

Where do I begin... Both Brian and Danielle were so helpful, patient and kind. When we toured Barn 1888 they immediately stood out to us because instead of them saying "you would have to do this and that" they said "We do this and that for you". All of their decor is included in the venue rental price, nothing additionally and they provide bar packages for you so you don't have to go through the pain of finding your own bar service. They personally help flip the ceremony and reception and give amazing recommendations for other vendors. My husband and I got married on January 8th 2022. Barn 1888 stayed open an extra week just to accommodate our crazy change in plans (due to a baby on the way). On the day of they were constantly walking around looking to see if anyone needed help anywhere. I was so impressed with everything they had to offer, and will forever recommend barn 1888.

Danielle and Brian are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING to work with. I rented the venue for the full weekend and it could not have been more fun. They were flexible and willing to work with us on minor changes. I saw this venue when they were still putting it together and a year and a half later, they have turned it into a place of beauty. I have 2 more friends getting married here in the near future. Danielle and Brian were super helpful and quick to respond when there were questions. I can't say enough good about it, because they were awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a barn venue.

A beautiful venue at an amazing price. The owners are constantly improving the venue - what we saw a year ago was nowhere near what we saw for our actual wedding, and we thought the venue was amazing a year ago! The owners are friendly, kind, helpful, and always looking for ways to make weddings at Barn 1888 even better. The owners also provided us with a list of their preferred vendors for everything from music to cakes, which was so helpful for planning (especially if you're from out of town!). The barn itself is beautiful, and both the barn and the grounds offer tons of unique photo ops. The bridal suite is spacious and equipped with a great space to get ready with hair, makeup, etc. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The whole venue is extremely clean - it's not the sit-on-hay-bales kind of barn! The lawn and gardens are lush and private, so you don't have a bunch of strangers craning to get a look at your party, but the venue is within 10-15 minutes of excellent hotels and restaurants. We had many out-of-town guests and no one had trouble finding a hotel room. The upper part of the barn is absolutely beautiful with lights and drapings - the photos don't do this venue justice. The venue can accommodate large weddings but doesn't feel strange or empty with smaller weddings either. We only had 54 guests and we felt neither crowded nor like the room had an awkward emptiness. Our guests enjoyed the nice variety of outdoor seating, and there's plenty of room for yard games. Everything is wheelchair/handicapped accessible. The only notes I had were: 1. The venue is not air conditioned (but the bridal suite is). The doors were all open, which let in a nice breeze, and I didn't hear any guests complain about the heat, but after all the dancing and running around to take photos, there's not many opportunities to cool down indoors. Our wedding was at the end of September, and it was 85 degrees outside, tolerable inside. If you're having your wedding in July or August, you may not want to invite 300 people to share the non-air-conditioned space. On the plus side, because it's not air-conditioned, all the doors were open, which let in lots of nice, fresh air. 2. Some of our older guests were a bit frustrated with the placement of the dance floor. The dance floor is located on the lower level of the barn, while dinner is on the top level. The older guests wanted to enjoy the "beautiful upstairs area" but still be able to sit and watch the dancers. There is a balcony that you can see the lower level through, and there is some limited seating on the lower level, but if you're wanting lots of guests to be able to sit and watch the dance floor, you may want to specify that you would like some extra seating on the lower level or near the balcony. (We had our first dance on the upper level, so there was no issue with guests seeing that portion of the evening; there just isn't much room for lots of people to dance all at once on the top floor.) Even with those minor caveats, this venue absolutely deserves the full 5 stars! You won't regret choosing Barn 1888 - this was the first venue we toured, and we booked it on the spot. Absolutely worth it!

Danielle and Bryan Howart have created a beautiful venue at Barn 1888. They were amazing from the first day we toured the Barn. The wedding day went just perfectly. They had different items available for us to use which was so nice. We needed a sign to be up a little higher and Danielle ran off and found the perfect little crate. They are the BEST! I highly recommend Barn 1888 for your wedding venue!!! Thank you!!

I cannot say enough good things about Barn 1888! There are so many adorable spots outside to hangout for a cocktail hour and yard games. The grounds are kept perfect and the barn is decorated so cute! Danielle & Bryan are amazing and were happily willing to accommodate all of our requests!

My husband and I got married August 14, 2021 at Barn 1888 and choosing them as our venue was the best decision we made! It was our dream venue, and was more than we could’ve ever imagined! We chose the venue before they were even finished working on it, we just knew it would be amazing because of how much love and passion Danielle and Brian put into it. They were more than amazing to work with, easy to communicate with, and made sure our day was everything we imagined! From the very first tour, they answered any and all questions we had. The barn and chapel are so beautiful along with the rest of the grounds. There are so many options when it comes to a “background” for your pictures, and the sunset on the property is amazing! Honestly we will recommend this place to anyone and everyone that asks about a venue! We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day so perfect! ❤️

This was the first venue my fiancé and I toured, but we new right away that we wanted this place for our special day! Not only is the venue absolutely the most beautiful place, but the owners Danielle and Bryan are SO kind! They’re flexible and have so many things to offer at no charge (wine barrels, buckets, tables for everything, table, table covers and so much more)! My photographer also had a ball with pictures. My guests had room to move around outside, in the shade, stay inside (upstairs or downstairs). Lastly, I felt so at ease the week of the wedding! I had very little decorations because the barn truly didn’t need it, and Danielle was so helpful through everything! 100% recommend Barn 1888!!

This venue is gorgeous! The facility and grounds are spotless with beautiful flowers, lush green grass and perfect landscaping surrounding the stunning barn and buildings. The owners, Brian and Danielle are very accommodating and pleasant to work with. My daughter had a wonderful wedding reception at Barn 1888. The night was perfect!!

Where do I even begin? First, the venue. It was stunningly beautiful - the grounds, the barn itself, the outside chapel, the upper and lower levels of the barn...there was so much space for our guests to mingle, play lawn games, etc. The owners Danielle and Bryan put their heart and soul into this place, and they did a phenomenal job. The dance floor was MASSIVE, and ours was packed the entire night (plenty of space for a DJ, photobooth, tables and chairs and STILL so much room for dancing, and we had close to 200 guests). Getting ready in the bridal suite was so much fun, there was a ton of space and plenty of room to get ready. You want a location with great pictures? There is NO shortage of that at this venue. Every corner of the inside and outside of this barn is incredible for pictures, for us AND our guests. We received so many compliments about the venue itself, including guests who are already married that WISH they got married there instead. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. BOOK. THIS. VENUE. Next, the owners. Danielle and Bryan at Barn 1888 are incredible. They went above and beyond to ensure our day was pristine. The most down-to-earth people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. It's a family-run business, and we had the pleasure of meeting their kids as well, who were just phenomenal all night. For our ceremony outside near the chapel, Bryan was kind enough to golf cart my grandmother down to the front row so she didn't have to walk down (she recently had an injury). She kept raving about his kindness in doing so, and we would have to agree. Danielle is also a nurse and had to get up at 4 AM the next morning for work and was there at the barn until well past midnight to ensure folks got home okay and to assist with our clean-up. From start to finish, Danielle and Bryan were communicative, professional, and SO kind. We had family in from Mexico and we were a rowdy bunch, lots of drinking and dancing, and they just rolled with the punches and made sure everyone was having a great time. I genuinely want to thank them for making our wedding so perfect - we miss them already and I'll recommend them to everyone. I was a Covid bride who moved her date 4 times due to the pandemic, and was anxiously awaiting this wedding. It was the PERFECT day, all thanks to Barn 1888, Danielle, and Bryan. I truly don't have enough positive things to say about them, and I recommend all brides/grooms to check them out, as I know they're going to get booked up :) THANK YOU for making our wedding dreams come true! If I could give 10 stars, I would. We love you guys!!!!

Barn 1888 is everything I could have dreamed it to be and more! The property is beyond beautiful and you can tell how much hard work and effort goes into keeping the property immaculate. The flowers are thriving and there are so many perfect spots for photos that you're all set for everything being on the property. Danielle and Brian are outstanding, kind, and go above and beyond for their clients. I love that they personally handle everything on the property and will be there for you on your wedding day. They're wonderful people and will make sure that your wedding day is just as you dreamed it to be.

Hands down, this should be your 1st choice! Look no further, Barn1888 is the Venue for you! The owners, Brian and Danielle are exceptional! They are always available to answer random questions, and to keep both the bride and her mother calm. (They’ll even referee if needed LOL) Barn 1888 has gorgeous landscape, perfect pockets for amazing photos with spectacular views. The Barn itself was incredible and spacious. Our future son in law was skeptical at first. He envisioned hey bales and cowboy boots…. From his first walk-through, he was sold. Wedding planning is incredibly chaotic, with 100’s of details needing to find their way to completion…. With Barn1888, You can check Venue off the list and move on with no worries. PS, don’t let the added distance deter you, it’s a straight shot south from downtown Grand Rapids and not one of our guests minded the drive.

For anyone who is looking for that perfect barn wedding, Barn 1888 is the one! Everything about it was absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I went and visited the barn in February of 2021 in a snow storm for a tour, and after seeing the barn and talking to Brian and Danielle we knew this was going to be the one! We weren’t able to see any landscaping, or any updates they were going to make that spring. The Monday before we got married we went to the barn and did last minute walk through one last time before our big day, and we were amazed on how different it looked. The landscaping, flowers, the chapel was beautiful. I couldn’t be more excited to have this barn be the barn we got married at! Brian and Danielle were so easy to work with, and made the whole wedding planning a piece of cake. My husband and I are so thankful for them! They really did an amazing job😊

Barn 1888 was everything I never knew I wanted in a wedding venue! We had to move our wedding multiple times due to COVID so I was already a bit stressed, but thankfully we found Barn 1888. Danielle and Bryan were amazing to work with - super responsive and willing to let us tour multiple times. The outside and inside of the barn was gorgeous. The grounds and the chapel area were immaculate. I loved the barn when I first saw it, but Danielle and Bryan were what sold me. They were so attentive, easy-going, and they made planning and setting up so chill and easy. Even if you don’t think you want a barn wedding, I urge you to check out Barn 1888 because it’s perfection.

I cannot say enough good things about this wedding venue. From the very first tour the owners were attentive and accommodating to everything we wanted for our wedding day. Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic could have been a nightmare and I have heard it has been for a lot of brides, but not for us and for that we will always be grateful. If you are looking for the perfect country, laid back barn wedding this is the place to have it.

Brian and Danielle go above and beyond to ensure that your day runs smooth! On top of a beautiful venue, they never hesitated to bring your dreams to life! We needed something hung the day of the wedding and they went to get a screw to make it happen! Always attentive, ready to step in and help in any way needed! I would highly recommend this venue.

Barn 1888 was the perfect location for our wedding ceremony and reception! They were so professional and organized, making our wedding day perfect. The location was gorgeous. The barn was newly renovated barn and the outside spaces were beautiful. They were accommodating for all our requests, including having our dog present for ceremony and reception! Our family was able to rent the farm house to stay for evening which was adorable, clean, and large enough for my entire family. Couldn’t have asked for a more prefect venue😊
