We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner at Barrilleux's on 004/05/24. It was perfect.
They accommodated a special menu per our request, and the food and service were amazing. They made this so easy for us planning all the details as we live out of town .
Barrilleaux's was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The staff was amazing and attentive. Brittani, the owner, was accommodating and helped us transform the space into exactly what we wanted. The food was delicious and all our guests raved about it afterwards! Highly recommended for an intimate venue with lots of charm!
We hosted our wedding of roughly 60 guests at Barrilleaux's, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Our guests are still raving about all of the amazing food. It is a beautiful indoor setting, with plenty of tables for guests to mingle outside. At first, we were a bit worried that the space might be too small, but we had a six-piece band, and ice cream sundae bar, and still more than plenty of room to dance, for guests to hang out at their tables, and to walk around and mingle. We found out the day of the wedding that one of our guests was vegan. When we asked the chef if there were any vegan options on the buffet that we had planned, he went out of his way to make her an entire beautiful, custom vegan dinner. We thought this was absolutely above and beyond and we are so thankful to the chef! Brittani was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process, and Patsy was incredible on the day of. The team is super accommodating, friendly, and truly made it the best day ever.
As a Wedding Planner I work in many different venues throughout across the greater New Orleans area, but this was the first time we had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding at The Burgundy House. We booked the space as a last minute venue for our couple, who was displaced from their original venue. Michelle & Brittani worked closely with us to ensure the couple had everything they wanted. The venue is beautiful and well kept, and the caterers were able to make full use of the on-site kitchen. Our couple had an amazing wedding day! I would highly recommend this space to our future couples.
Beautiful venue. Everything was perfect from the layout, the candle rentals they placed in the windows, the food was exquisite and just the building itself is beautiful inside and out. We had about 100 guests and a live band and both ceremony and reception here. It was enough room for decent dance floor and enough room to get around ok with an intimate setting. The ladies we worked with were so accommodating and kind. We did a menu tasting and the chef is so talented and made sure everything was to our liking. We received so many compliments on the venue, food and service. Our guests said everything was so beautiful and perfect. We highly recommend this venue. They are experienced and easy to work with. Thank you Burgundy House team for everything you did to make our day perfect!! We appreciate you so much. The added bonus was the penthouse upstairs. So much room for the bridal party to get ready in comfort. We loved every part of it and wouldn’t go back and change a thing.
I attended my brother’s wedding party here in the fall. The weather was perfect and the building looked amazing inside and out.
The spacious dining area comfortably fit the entire party and the acoustics of the room allowed everyone to speak without having to yell over the top of one another.
After enjoying a wonderful party with family, food, and drink. The night continued with a very short walk down to Frenchman street for live music and more partying.
I would recommend this event space to everyone looking for a beautiful setting and an unforgettable night of fun.
Amazing experience. Hands down. This historically renovated building is beautiful and the experience we had with the staff was wonderful. As a bride that was looking for a beautiful and stress-free place to stay and host wedding weekend activities, the Burgundy House was perfect.
I stayed in the corner apartment on the second floor and used it as my bridal suite the morning of my wedding. My family also stayed in the apartment next door and on the third floor above. We used the space on the ground floor as the venue for our rehearsal dinner and cocktail party. The apartment was cozy and spacious. It was so easy to go upstairs after the rehearsal dinner and get my beauty sleep before the big day.
There was plenty of space to get ready with 6 bridesmaids. I'm glad that I went with an apartment instead of a hotel room, since I could lay out brunch, snacks, and drinks for my bridesmaids. The kitchen came with glasses, plates, and all the utensils we needed for that morning. If we needed anything, there was a grocery store right around the corner. There was also a delicious brunch spot directly across from the building.
The exposed brick in the apartment was the perfect backdrop for getting-ready photos. It was such a warm and classy feel. Not to mention that wrap-around balcony! Utterly gorgeous with curved iron and beautiful gas lamps. You can tell that the owners really took their time with the details of this historic building.
Dustin was the hero of my wedding weekend. I still talk about him! He made sure the rehearsal dinner went smoothly and that I had everything I needed the day-of. Since I planned my own wedding, I couldn't thank him enough for taking the reins and helping to make sure everything ran on time.
The ground space was beautifully furnished and decorated. I loved having two rooms: one for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, the other for the dinner. The chandeliers were absolutely gorgeous! And also a great touch to the venue space. They definitely sold me on the space for our rehearsal dinner.
From top to bottom (literally), this was an amazing and special place. Gorgeous, detailed, and the staff, especially Dustin, were wonderful. I'm so happy with our experience and glad that the Burgundy House was part of our wedding weekend.
What an awesome experience I had at this lovely venue! Simply beautiful decor (indoor and out) and you can tell the owners put a lot of love into this venue for their clients. The exposed brick and chandeliers create a warm ambiance perfect for wedding receptions and having a loft above the space is perfect for the bride/groom family! Having a large full kitchen really helped ensure the food delivery was on time and hot. A+ all around - can't wait to celebrate another even there soon!
The Burgundy House hosted my daughters Engagement party and will be catering her upcoming wedding. The venue was spectacular and my guest couldn't stop complimenting me about it. The building, the furnishings and all of the decorations were all we could as for and more. The staff was accommodating and did an excellent job. Working with Dustin and Andrew was so like working with your best friend. Very down to earth and after our first meeting they knew exactly what we wanted and provided it. They were so helpful and offered so many ideas and suggestions that I didn't even think of. This is what they do and they do it well. I'm so grateful I pick up my phone and contact Dustin to help me give my daughter her dream Wedding events. If another function should arise I surely will be reaching out to the Burgundy House to help me throw the most magnificent event of all times. I'm very picky and those guys took very good care of me...Thanks from the bottom of my heart....Debbie
The venue was beautiful and the staff was so accommodating, helpful, welcoming and fun. The layout of the space, the beautiful furnishings, dishes and the set up were perfect for the bar, hors d’oeuvres and then the sit down pdinner for our daughter’s wedding welcome event. This was a destination wedding, so Dustin, Andrew and their team really helped put our minds at ease and made everything perfect from start to finish.
