Bashes by Barbie coordinated (Satin Slipper’s package), decorated and flowered our wedding. We couldn’t recommend her enough. She was so on top of everything, transparent with us on every detail, and there were a lot of details. She went out of her way to find the right color sashes, the perfect arrangements we wanted for the flowers, and everything she brought to the table was high quality. She had great ideas from her experience, she met our energy as we planned, and on the day of she helped us immensely! She kept everything on track, did a good job staying connected with us, and the behind the scenes hiccups that were out of our control stayed behind the scenes thanks to her hard work. If you’re reading these reviews undecided – we highly recommend calling Barbie and scheduling a meeting. We’re really happy we did, she is amazing, and if we could do it all again it would be with Barbie a hundred times over. Honestly, we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and none of it would’ve been possible without her.

Barbie is the best! She did our day of coordination, decor, & florals and absolutely nailed each category. I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of because she had it covered. She has a ton of experience and provided great insight while still asking for my opinion along the way. She is very organized and provided individual timelines to all of our vendors and wedding party. I cannot imagine having our wedding without her. She made everything run so smoothly and we truly had the best day ever. Thank you so much Barbie, you and your team are wonderful!

Barbie was incredible to work with! She provided coordinator services for our Summer 2021 wedding in Holland Michigan. She was so helpful during the 2 year planning process (thanks COVID)! Anytime my mom and I had a disagreement or question she was only a phone call or text away (she sided with me on the disagreements, btw). The day of the wedding, everyone got to sleep in and go to brunch, while Barbie was hard at work setting up the venue. It was incredible getting to the venue just before the wedding and seeing everything so beautifully set up! She did an amazing job! Barbie had also called and coordinated with all of our other vendors for set up and arrival times! We rented a few items from her (cake table displays, wedding arch, card box, etc) which were gorgeous and SO convenient! I only had 2 small boxes of personal décor items (which Barbie also set up for us), everything else was a rental! I'm so happy I don't have a closet full of single use items that I'm trying to now sell on FB marketplace because we were able to rent all the big things from her! She also brought in a late night snack for our party (Taco Bell), which everyone loved!! Cleaning up after the event was a breeze, because she had done most of the work before the event was over! It took maybe 15-20 min for us to grab the last of the items from the bridal room and put away the last few things after our event wrapped up! Working with Barbie is a dream. She's a perfect and rare combination of "structured and organized" and "easy going and go with the flow". Hiring Barbie was the best decision I made for our wedding day, and I'd absolutely hire her again for any large event!

Barbie did a fantastic job coordinating my wedding! On my day I did not have a thing to worry about because I knew she had everything taken care of! She also did my decor & my flowers. The bouquets were exactly how I imagined. Everything was perfect!

Barbie is not only an exceptional event planner, but she is very kind and thoughtful too! Her high degree of professionalism, and her attention to detail, are second to none. The floral arrangements she made were stunning ... we can’t thank her enough for all of her hard work and extra effort. Our wedding was perfect, thanks to her!

We had an amazing expirencr working with Barbie for our wedding! Everything went smoothly and I couldn’t have pulled off our big day without her! She not only did the planning but she also did all of our flowers and decor! Ee

Barb and her assistants did a great job helping my daughter with the finishing touches of her wedding. They were very professional and made everything seem less worrisome. It was nice to sit back, relax and enjoy the wedding knowing that everything was being taken care. (it is not an easy task for me to sit back and relax, but they made it so I could and did). My daughter was so happy, she has told me her day turned out exactly how she always imagined it would. The girls helped make her day special, and in the end that is all that matters. Thanks again to an amazing team! I would highly recommend them.

I first met Barb at a show in Wacousta. She was very friendly and professional. Months went by until I finally contacted her and Barb actually remembered meeting me. After that we met a couple times as I tried to keep her in loop and share my vision. My wedding had no budget as I didn't want any regrets and it was very important to me that our 80 guests had a memorable experience as much as we did. The ceremony and the wedding both took place at the English Inn in Eaton Rapids. Barb and her assistant arrived at 8:30 am, ceremony was at 6:30pm, and Barb didn’t leave until after the cake was served. She had a long day! However she never showed it! She also did the ceremony rehearsal early in the day for which we had plan A and B if it rained….and it started to sprinkle as the guests were arriving…ugh. On to plan B which got a little crazy but we pulled it off! The evening was magical and I wish I could do that every Saturday. Barb provided lots a helpful hints and tips during the planning. She also has a selection of décor that we could use at no extra cost. We both have a peeve of wrinkled linens so Barb and her assistant made sure that all the table clothes and over-lays were freshly pressed. The dining room and the lounge looked gorgeous. If you are looking for an event planner I highly suggest Bashes by Barbie. She remained professional throughout the entire experience. I don’t know how she does it but she does. Barb always communicated if there was an extra cost involved and if so how much. Barb if you are reading this know that I value your expertise, experience, honesty, and sincerity. Kerri

I did most of my wedding planning myself but hired barb to come in the month of my wedding to coordinate from the rehearsal through the day of my wedding. She and her assistant were amazing! She handled everything and helped wherever we needed it. It was such a joy having her there.
