My husband and I had our wedding on August 4th of 2018. From the very beginning the service of the sales staff was amazing. Charmaine was so informative and helped me through the process, even when I had last minute changes. Karen our banquet coordinator was simply awesome. My photographer and DJ were about 20 minutes late and she took point and got them in thier places quickly. She stayed to make sure everything went to plan throughout dinner. I will forever love them for helping us with the wedding of our dreams.

We looked at a few venues to start and were unable to find anything we were excited about..until we stumbled across the Bavarian Inn website online. Based on the brochures and the all-inclusive nature of the venue I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were actually one of the most affordable locations around. The staff was AMAZING to work with throughout the planning process, so friendly and had so many helpful hints and suggestions. They also provided so many 'extras' that I would have otherwise had to buy or rent (reserved seating signs, aisle runner/bows, table numbers, table cloths, etc). In addition, the Inn has great working relationships with many vendors in the surrounding area which we leveraged. Because we chose to have reception at the Inn, every outside vendor we used was already familiar with the setup so working with them took very little coordination. We chose to have both our ceremony and reception at the inn and it turned out so beautifully! We chose the indoor ceremony room but we were able to utilize the outside location for our pictures. The Inn is so convenient - anything we possibly needed the night before and during the wedding day was available on-site in one of their stores or restaurants. We were able to have our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on-site and reserve blocks of rooms for both the rehearsal day and the wedding day for the convenience of our family and guests. The inn has multiple pools and hot tubs, a full putt putt course, an arcade, and 2 watersides which provided a whole evening of fun after the rehearsal dinner. My husband and myself stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, which the inn allowed us to reserve the night before. This doubled as the bridal party dressing room, with plenty of room for the bridal party and hairdressers. Each person we worked with (including bartenders/wait staff for our reception) went out of their way to ensure we were having the best day and to provide us anything we needed. The inn was very flexible and accommodating of our needs/wants with very few restrictions on decorations, ceremony setup/locations, etc. Everyone we talked to had the most amazing time and I would recommend this venue to any bride-to-be over and over again. I honestly cannot say enough good things about it...working with our wedding planner and day of coordinator made the planning process so easy and stress free for me. Also, the inn doubles as a special vacation place that me and my husband will be able to return to for our anniversary!

Charmaine was an absolute pleasure to work with. She did everything in her power to ensure that our vision was brought to fruition. We cannot say a single negative thing about her! Matt (I believe his name was Matt) was amazing too. He was in charge of making sure our ceremony ran smoothly and he helped out tremendously. Everyone involved went above and beyond to make this day amazing.

My wedding was perfect!! Charmaine was so helpful the entire time we were planning! She would call or email back the same day if I had any questions and made the whole planning for the venue so easy! The entire staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful!! The food was the best food I've ever had at any wedding! All of my guests even said the food was the best. The ceremony was inside and it was so beautiful. Everything from rehearsal to the wedding night ran so smoothly because of the staff of the lodge. :)

First of all, Charmaine is the BEST event planner! She is so patient and helpful and ALWAYS answering all the questions! The hall is beautiful, they even helped me decorate the day of because my family and I are from out of town. The wait staff and all the employees did everything they could to make our day absolutely perfect and it was just that!! Everything was VERY affordable and the city is so beautiful you just can't pass it up! Perfect! Absolutely perfect!!!

Where to begin!?? My wedding day was perfect! From the ease of planning to the event itself. Everyone was amazing! Great price amazing food, wonderful staff. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking into it!

Best day of MY LIFE! And the Bavarian Inn Lodge team made it happen. I was married this June and I cannot say enough GREAT things about everyone at the Lodge. Their attention to detail, planning process, working with my vendors, the list goes on and on. The day of, they made sure Everything was perfect! I was WOWed when I walked into the banquet rooms. For the rehearsal dinner we were in the River Rooms on the main level. They recently redid these and they look beautiful. We had a themed menu and the team decorated each buffet to match. We heard nothing but compliments on the food, great service, food, location, food, etc. Our wedding reception was upstairs in the Composer Rooms. Walking up those beautiful stairs, my breath was taken away. I am a very detail orientated person and everything was executed plus a few things I didn’t think of. The service was right on with salads after our speeches/toasts and we utilized the Mix & Mingle for our buffets, which worked out GREAT. They accommodated all my special requests and dietary restrictions for our guests. Our wedding was over two months ago and we are still hearing compliments on the exceptional food, drink, customer service, etc. What was even more convenient, our guests could stay right there. There is plenty of parking and after the reception those that chose went upstairs to their hotel rooms. We experienced a Win/Win in all areas. Sunday morning we enjoyed an amazing brunch with over 35 items I believe. The piano player did a wonderful job and took requests, including from my 6 years nephew. Any future events, meetings, or parties I want to have them at the Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth, MI. I worked in Chicago for 9 years planning events for up to 9,000 people. The team at the Lodge know what they are doing from food, service, AV.... their hospitality is unmatched! I cannot say enough good things about my experience at the Bavarian Inn Lodge. If you are looking for a venue that with make any event unforgettable, look no further than the Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Lodge. I highly recommend this property!

Absolutely wonderful venue to get married! I had my ceremony in the court yard and my reception in the river rooms and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Charmaine was my cooridinator and she was amazing. Highly recommend!

I had my ceremony at the Bavarian Inn Courtyard and it was beautiful. The workers were very helpful while also staying behind the scenes so we could enjoy that special moment with family and friends. I HIGHLY recommend this venue.

The Bavarian Inn Lodge was the perfect place for our entire wedding day! From the ceremony to the reception, to brunch the next morning, everything was amazing! My husband and I were just married on 10/8/2016 at the Bavarian Inn Lodge and I cannot express how amazing everything was! The staff is unbelievably friendly and accommodating and really went out of their way to make our day special. The scenery is gorgeous for an outside ceremony and they setup and decorated our reception room for us. The food was amazing and our guests had nothing but compliments on the entire day and all raved about the food as well. I would absolutely recommend this venue for your ceremony and reception.

We would recommend the Bavarian Inn a million times over! We had both our ceremony (outside on the patio) and reception (upstairs in the composer room) there. The whole planning process was easy and they were so friendly and helpful with all my questions. They offered suggestions where I needed help and provided me with a list of frequently used vendors, all of which we were very happy with as well! They went above and beyond to assure everything was taken care of and stress free, the whole day went perfectly! The food was delicious and the wait staff very friendly and prompt, my only complaint is that the day went by too quickly! It's an absolutely beautiful venue and the prices were very reasonable, you won't be disappointed!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Lodge and couldn't be more thrilled with how everything turned out! The staff was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. They offered advice on vendors and tips for a smooth ceremony. The day of, we were treated so well and the staff made everything stress-free. The ceremony was outside on the patio and was so beautiful! The reception area was in the river rooms and had a very romantic feel to it. To top it all off, prices were very reasonable! It was a "destination wedding" without much of a drive for my guests. I would highly recommend!

Wonderfully accommodating. They did everything like second nature. we were not there prior to the ceremony(helping the bride dress) or for the start of the reception (photos). I was a little stressed wondering how everything was going. I should not have worried. They had everything beautiful done and running perfectly. The staff were wonderful and the setting was perfect.

We had an amazing experience with the Bavarian Inn Lodge! Char and Leonard were both friendly and very easy to work with. I spent months working with Char and she was very helpful with any questions, comments, or updates I had. Judy Zehnder Keller was personally at our reception to welcome us. The front desk and banquet staff were also wonderful! So happy we chose the Bavarian Inn Lodge as our wedding reception venue!

We had our reception at the Bavarian Inn Lodge and would absolutely recommend it to anyone considering! The event crew (Leonard, Shannon, etc.) were absolutely wonderful to work with and made planning so easy. Our guests complimented us throughout the night on our wonderful location, the excellent food, and most of all the exceptional service of the staff at Bavarian! I got married at the Bavarian Inn on 05/07/16. It was all that I wanted it to be and more. All the staff were amazing and I thank them so very much for making our day so special. We Tbooked the Bavarian Inn Lodge for my son's wedding. Even though we live 2 hours away, the Lodge took care of all the details of the wedding. They recommended vendors for us and they turned out to be great!! Chris was our wedding coordinator (works for the Lodge) and was excellent!!!! We really felt pampered and important. The wedding was awesome!!!! People loved it!!! They took care of our every need. Very accommodating.!!! I would absolutely recommend having a wedding, party, etc. here!!!!

The Bavarian Inn Lodge does an excellent job. I made my decorations and they set them up for me. They made it look so good. They are really awesome in helping you plan your event. I am so glad I chose to have my wedding there. They also give you a honeymoon suite free the night of your wedding which I think is neat. The Jacuzzi tub was wonderful after dancing all night long. What makes it so nice about having your wedding at the lodge is you don't have to worry about anything. The food is awesome all my guests loved the food.

To have my wedding in Frankenmuth was a dream of mine. I never thought in a million years that it would be affordable. However, the Bavarian Inn's prices are some of the lowest venues that we visited. I was beyond impressed with the professionalism and helpfulness of all of the staff! Char was always willing to go above and beyond to answer my questions and always gave me a lot of notice when it came to deadlines. On the day of the wedding, the entire day went perfectly thanks to the staff. In addition, the owner (Julie Zehnder) actually came and congratulated my husband and I and thanked us for having our wedding at Bavarian Inn. I was blown away with all of the amazing staff and the venue as a whole. I would definitely suggest Bavarian Inn for a wedding!

The staff at the Bavarian inn exceeded my expectations! We had personal service at the head table for the reception for my husband and I as well as for the bridal party. Our guests complimented multiple times how the managers and staff kept checking in on them at the tables to see if the food was good and if they needed anything. The event coordinator was constantly available and would make sure my parents were satisfied and if they had any complaints that could be fix right away. Many of my guests said the food was the best wedding dinner they have ever had. I had a wedding of 275 and the price point we came out on was truly amazing for what we got. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Many of the guests have contacted our parents to compliment on their overall experience. Also the personal touches we received as the bride and groom were amazing. We were treated like royalty that night.

Imagine your only daughters dream wedding weekend, with months of planning, guests coming from many states and planning every detail. The goal was to have an all inclusive event, where your Grandma would even stay late during the reception. Now imagine the weekend arriving, and at the rehearsal dinner the first person asks, " why are you, the Father of the bride, not stressed"? This scene repeated itself many times during the weekend, and I honestly replied, "I personally do not have a worry in the world"! Now, I'm a very protecting father who would not hesitate to voice my opinion if my child was disappointed or concerned about something. This never happened and our investment and trust in the Bavarian Inn was worth every penny. Mrs. Zender actually rearranged my tie before walking my beautiful daughter down the aisle. The family members and guests left Sunday satisfied with the hospitality and are planning a return trip to enjoy again. Stress never entered my mind and that incredible weekend will live in are hearts forever! Thank you Bavarian Inn!!

I couldn't of asked for a more perfect day. Bavarian Inn did everything for me and I had no stress. I loved every minute of that day. We had a lot of out of town guests and it worked perfectly with no complications. I am going to recommend this venue for EVERYONE that asks!!!

If we had to do our whole wedding and reception over again, we wouldn't change a thing! From planning the wedding ceremony to the reception details, the Bavarian Inn Lodge was awesome every step of the way. They helped me pick out top-of-the-line vendors who did an amazing job and they gave me a venue coordinator and a banquet coordinator who saw to my every need and helped make things run smoothly both before our event and the day of. My guests were amazed at how beautiful everything was, how delicious the food was, and how courteous, enthusiastic, and helpful all of the staff were.

I cannot thank the staff at the Bavarian Inn Lodge enough for executing a flawless weekend wedding. All of our guests had a wonderful time. Our coordinator Charmaine was a great help and always available to answer our questions or to help us with recommendations to meet our needs, especially since we were planning the wedding from long distance. We held our rehearsal dinner, wedding reception and next day breakfast at the Lodge. Every detail was handled so efficiently and with such professionalism that we knew we were in good hands. As parents of the bride, we had the best time. The Composer Rooms were so elegant and the food plentiful and delicious. The staff were always accessible and worked with us as if we were family. We thank all of them, especially Judy Zehnder for caring enough to make us feel special. Our hotel guests, enjoyed the facilities and hospitality. Thanks to all, again, for hosting our beautiful wedding!

Our daughter's wedding reception was held here. We received so many compliments on the venue, service, staff and food and still have a week later! Everything was awesome!! I made my daughter's cake and needed to complete it there. They were so accommodating and helpful you would have thought we were family! No request throughout the entire process was too big nor too small. We can't thank Char and the entire staff enough for a true dream come true!! The food was fabulous. Everyone raved about the entire menu (of course their famous chicken). Do try the salmon with the rice pilaf-it's the best we've had in some time! I don't want to forget to mention my daughter (bride) is gluten free and was provided a gluten free meal. There's tons to do in Frankenmuth and you'll enjoy a great stay at the Bavarian Inn Lodge

I got married at the Bavarian Inn Lodge on 8/8/14. They were wonderful to work with. The sales team was phenomenal in answering all of my questions, meeting with me to show me the space, and helping me figure out exactly what I want on my wedding day. The banquet team was also wonderful on the day of the rehearsal and wedding. They made sure everything ran smoothly and was checking in with me throughout the day to ensure that I and my guests were pleased. We got married outside on the terrace, and it was a lovely place to have a ceremony. I had so many compliments from guests regarding the food, scenery, and overall atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend getting married at the Bavarian Inn Lodge!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! Every detail was taken care of by the lodge and it was beautiful! They put so much work into our wedding and we had the best day of our lives! And the food was phenomenal! The bar tender was amazing and everyone has told me it was the best wedding they've ever been to!

Through out the duration of my wedding planning I was in contact with an event coordinator. She did an amazing job answering all of my questions and was very prompt in her response. On our wedding day the Bavarian Inn Lodge staff did a great job taking care of our guests. They clearly cared about making the bride and groom feel taken care of as well as the families. The coordinator that we worked with was awesome and made sure that everything was just as we wanted. Living in Frankenmuth for my whole life, it was wonderful to have my wedding take place in my hometown. I would recommend the Lodge to anyone.

At first the person I was working with was not very friendly or helpful but after some conversations I was given to someone else. After that everything was great!

The staff was extremely friendly. They always returned my phone calls/emails right away. everything was perfect. The food was excellent and there felt. I didn't have to do a thing!

Frankenmuth has always held a special place in our families hearts, but now it is even more special Thanks to the staff of the Bavarian Inn. Not to be "cliche" and use the "Dream Come True" Wedding Day quote but it is the exact description of our Ceremony and Reception thanks to the staff and Bethany, to whom we described the vision of our perfect day in just a few phone calls from 2000 miles away and she brought it all together, down to the smallest details, the personal and attentive service from Matt, during our ceremony and dinner reception where the staff went above and beyond to bring our guests that needed assistance, their "Delicious" dinner. The comments from all of our guest was "This is one of the nicest weddings we have been to in a long time and the staff was so friendly." An added surprise was the personal "Congratulations" from Judy Zehnder before the ceremony and her personal Greeting to our guests at the reception. Do not think twice about sharing your special day with the wonderful people at the Bavarian Inn.

Our wedding at the Bavarian Inn Lodge turned out better than we ever imagined! The Lodge played a large role in making that happen. The wedding coordinator at the lodge did a great job setting everything up. Our outdoor ceremony was beautiful and the food was excellent. We had so many compliments on the food (we went with the tier 4 mix-and-mingle menu and we highly recommend it). We also had a number of people tell us how cool it was for the owner to be there and introduce the meal to our guests. It really made us feel special! If you are thinking about a wedding in Frankenmuth, look no further. If you're not, maybe you should?.. it was a ton of fun!

Bavarian Inn was a good choice. They were very helpful and the place is beautiful.

We looked at various venues, and the Bavarian Inn Lodge gave us everything we were looking at an affordable price. From the beautiful indoor venue for our ceremony to the various options to customize our food and drink to the wonderful decor, it gave us and our guests a night to remember. We were able to be hands on throughout the entire planning process, even though we were out of state for most of it. Payments were secure and easy to process and no request or question asked was ignored. We truly found a gem choosing this place to host our special day.

I absolutely loved having our wedding here, they did everything perfect for our special day. It was everything and more. The staff was great and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone!

We got married on 12/21/12 in the Family Crest room. If German decor is a problem for you,don't bother even trying. If traditional flags and banners are ok go for it! The staff is really great and take care of you. On top of having the help of one of the coordinators all through the planning process, a head wait staff is assigned to you on the day of. They aim to please you and are very flexible with time or meal changes last minute. We had both the ceremony and reception all in the same room and anticipated about 90 guests with SO much room to spare and that was with the constructed aisle down the center. They can sit about 300 comfortably for dinner, too. The food is AMAZING, as it is entitled, "World Famous" plus you get to take the leftovers home. Love this place, plan to renew our vows and do it all over again in 10 years

I DJed a wedding here recently for someone I know, and I was satisfied with the service, but that was pretty much it. The place needs updating big time. Old drapes and fake plants aren't very romantic. The food was, for the most part, cold and bland. But worst of all, the owner was SO rude. I couldn't believe the way she spoke to me. She was extremely sarcastic and treated me like garbage. I had heard good things about Bavarian Inn before, but I was extremely disappointed with my experience as the DJ and as a guest. I might have suggested this as a venue if it hadn't been for the owner. I strongly suggest finding a different venue.

The Bavarian Inn Lodge and Conference Center is awesome to work with! Upon, reserving the River Rooms we recieved a personal wedding planner to help plan the food, drinks, decoration, and set up of the rooms. The end result was AMAZING! Everything turned out great! I highly recommend using this location for a wedding reception, it was worth every penny!

I had so many people tell me it was the best reception that they have been too. The food and service was excellent. I thought we had so much value for our money. The staff in the front and the back office bent over backwards for us.

I had my reception at the Motor Lodge and was completely satisfied with the staff and service. Those on staff went the extra mile to make sure the day was special. They called us with reminders, asked us about anything else detail wise they could do, and called us when we left things behind a week later. I was very impressed with the hall. It was also very beautiful. The price was one of the best in the area and one of the owners even came to the wedding, gave a short speech, and oversaw that the day was perfect. I highly recommend this location for any bride! :)

I had my ceremony and reception at the Bavarian Inn Lodge. The staff was helpful during the planning as well as the wedding day. When I emailed my coordinator I received prompt responses. Multiple guests said that they enjoyed their accommodations, and everyone raved about the food even saying it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. The only thing that I would have changed is the bar tab. They do their bar by amount consumed, not people served. The estimate they provided for the tab was $2500 for 130 people drinking from 4pm to midnight. We hit $2500 around 7pm and had to up our bar budget. They were flexible though in allowing us to change the liquors we were providing and later in the evening we were able to switch to beer and wine only. Overall, I would recommend this venue.

Bavarian Inn Lodge was awesome! The food was fantastic! The staff were true professionals! The location was perfect with downtown shopping for your guests or yourself!

It was beautiful. There staff is so helpful. I did not have to worry about a thing and I didnt even have a wedding cordinator. The atmosphere was beautiful and everyone enjoyed themselves.

We used the Bavarian Inn for our reception and hotel for our guests. It was truly like a fairy tale! The venue is gorgeous, the staff is amazing, and EVERYONE had a great time. They also made everything so easy. The did set up, catering, bar, and provide you with an event coordinator. PERFECT!!!!

You can't replicate the atmosphere that you will automatically receive by holding your event at the Bavarian Inn. I had a Christmas Wedding in early December and everything throughout the planning process was wonderful. The staff all made me feel like I was the most important person in the world (and I know they had more than one wedding that weekend). I couldn't say enough wonderful things about the Bavarian. It has been three weeks and I am still receiving compliments from my guests. They had just as much fun as I did.

Everyone here was so helpful from the day we stepped in the door. Even though I didn't hire a wedding planner I felt like I had one with them. They made sure to take care of everything and made sure everything was perfect. They thought of questions I could have never imagined. They were very helpful throughout the whole process.

Great service very professional and friendly. Food was affordable and fantasitc. Bar was very reasonably priced. Frankenmuth is a great town providing the perfect place for our rustic German fairy tale wedding. We got married in the atrium reception in the banquet room and our guest stayed right there at the hotel. Our guest never had to leave the venue. We also had an amazing brunch the next day.;The River Rooms were a little crowded for 200 people.
