From the very first interaction (over the phone interview) that my husband and I had with Sandy, we knew we had found the best Wedding Coordinator for our wedding day. Immediately, out of the gate, she began to ask us so many questions about how we imagined our wedding day going - questions that we never would have come to think of on our own. In other words, she come PREPARED. In the middle of wedding planning, my husband and I had to move across the country. We hired Sandy for month-of coordinator services. I figured, the very last month she would hop in and finalize things - especially with me no longer living where my wedding was taking place. Let me tell you, Sandy went ABOVE and BEYOND! Sandy became the point of contact for all my vendors and took so much stress off of my shoulders leading up to the day of the wedding. She even sat on the phone with me for four hours one day to go over all the details - that I was so grateful for. I was definitely a bride who had trouble letting go of control when it came to wedding planning, but Sandy just knew how to ease my mind and earn my trust. Sandy curated an individual timeline for myself (the Bride) and the Bridesmaids, the Groom and the Groomsmen, and all of the vendors hired for the wedding day AND wedding rehearsal. Her organization made everything run so smoothly on the day of the wedding. My friends and family that came to the wedding even recognized how great of a job Sandy did. I feel like I have a million and one things to say about how AMAZING Sandy was for us. I feel like Sandy truly cared about our wedding day just as much as we did, and that's what made things perfect - her passion. She truly loves what she does, and for that, Sandy will always be someone I cherish. She delivers exactly what you ask for, and with her experience, there is no question she cannot answer. I would highly recommend her for your wedding day or any special event!

From the first interview with her I knew she was the right pick. She is so organized, punctual, recommends the best vendors that always matched our style, and best of all she has a beautiful personality that meshes with anyone. For someone who is a complete novice at what weddings entail, Sandy always made sure to clearly explain things and make the best recommendations to help in my decisions. Sandy was not only our wedding planner but over the course of the year we planned together she truly became our friend. It was a complete blast working with her and I will hands down recommend Baxter's Creative Events to anyone!
Sandy and her team are the people you need for your wedding!! She took care of every detail, had the perfect list of vendors, and my day stress free and a dream come true! My wedding day was absolutely perfect and I didn't have a stress in the world that day thanks to Sandy and her husband! I would hire Sandy 100 times over!
Sandy was great! As a groom who was deployed for the entirety of the year leading up to the wedding (and pretty much leaving my wife to fend for herself) I cannot be more pleased with Sandy’s service. I showed back up in town the day before the wedding and found everything taken care of and most importantly: my wife not at all stressed. The day of the wedding Sandy and her husband Will were amazing. They had everything planned out, and for me and the groomsmen, it was as easy as showing up. They made sure we were where we needed to be, doing what we needed to do, and that we were well taken care of. I can’t recommend Sandy and Will highly enough. Truly professional and exceptional detailed.
Let me first start out by saying while I am the most relaxed person to be around, I am extremely hard to please. Sandy did an OUTSTANDING JOB!! of running all the ins and outs of our wedding planning. She understands her clients in all aspects and can tell if you won't like something before you do, because she's that locked in! We took her recommendations on many vendors and i will say they were all more than what we expected! She understands quality and providing the ultimate customer service experience to her clients. At no point did we ever feel like we weren't in alignment with her on our wedding plans. There were times she provided suggestions on visuals for the wedding or other important moving parts. Of those suggestions that she suggested we implement, she was on point! On the day of our wedding, Sandy and her husband Will made everything flow smoothly. I'm sure it can be hard to keep things on a timely schedule, but they made it look easy. They were super helpful in ensuring we got the photos we wanted (Bride and Groom) all the while we were getting pulled in different directions by our attendees. I could go on and on about how satisfied we were with our decision to book Sandy for our wedding planner, but i would much rather you take the opportunity to experience all that she has to offer. While it was amazing connecting with her professionally, we also shared a great personal relationship with Sandy and consider her a part of our family now! If I were to describe Sandy in one word, it would be Complete. She delivers a complete experience, she will completely take care of every little detail, she is completely amazing! We had no idea where to start when it came to planning our wedding, but Sandy helped us at every single step. When the day of the wedding finally came, we barely had to lift a finger. We hired Sandy for our day of coordinator. Sandy went above and beyond the entire month prior helping with issues we had with other things. The day of Sandy and her husband were there start to finish to make sure our day was everything we expected it to be. Our day couldn't have been more perfect! If you are financially able to, hire a wedding planner! Once you have figured out that you are able to, hire Sandy, you will not regret it! We hired her back in January 2020 and we went with her Luxury Full Service Package that came with an amazing DJ and photobooth. While we were waiting the pandemic out, we were able to plan about 75% our wedding with Sandy’s amazing list of recommended vendors and expert advice. For everyone's safety and peace of mind, we did end up postponing our big day. Sandy was a godsend in contacting all of our vendors to have everything moved to our new date. Sandy is extremely detail orient and this really comes to play when you're a month out. In creating the wedding day timeline, Sandy will have questions for that you wouldn’t have thought of and expertise advice to help you make an informed decision. When it came to the day of our wedding, we were truly confident that everything will run as planned and it did! Between Sandy and her husband Will, all of our needs were taken care of. As the wedding came to a close and even the next day, my husband and I couldn’t stop saying that we were so glad that we went with Sandy and that we had not regrets with how the day went.
I wasn't sure about hiring a wedding planner initially... but after talking with Sandy I went from considering a day of coordinator to hiring Sandy to help me plan the whole thing. Sandy was an absolute godsend, particularly when I was planning from halfway across the country and through a global pandemic. Sandy was so knowledgeable and helpful about the little details that I wouldn't have thought of that really elevated the day. When had to reschedule from our original date due to Covid, it felt like Sandy took care of absolutely everything! From scheduling timelines and vendor suggestions, by the time we got to the big day I felt like I didn't have to worry at all. Of anything we booked for our wedding, hiring Sandy Baxter to plan it was the absolute best choice we could have made!
We planned this wedding from out of state and truly couldn't imagine what it would've been like without her! Our planning started back in 2020 right before the pandemic hit and at the time, we didn't realize how difficult things were going to get from there. However, from handling all of the discussions with vendors and venues with little input from us to helping manage postponing our wedding for almost a year, she was a great alleviator of stress during our toughest time and our greatest ally all throughout. I cannot recommend her enough and am so happy that she was available for our wedding.
Sandy was absolutely amazing from day one to the wedding day. Her attention to detail and wedding knowledge is second to none. She thinks of every possible thing and helped us in every possible way. We are confident we could not have gotten through this without her. And when it came to the actual wedding day, everything went perfectly! Why I waited until a month before to contact Baxter’s Creative Events and hire Sandy...I will never know...I could have saved myself so much stress and headache if I had reached our sooner. Do yourself a favor and hire Sandy and hire her now. Sandy and her husband, Will, are the perfect team. They work together to make the big day effortless (or at least it seems that way to the bride). Will kept the groomsmen in line and they loved him! Sandy made my dream wedding a reality. She had me send Pinterest images of what I wanted for décor, and she made it happen and better than I could have imagined. She made the timeline go without a hitch and let me tell you there are so many minute details that I didn’t even think of that MATTER. She asked all the right questions, down to who was picking up what at the end of the night and if there were any sensitive family situations to which she should be aware. She handled contacting all the vendors to ensure they knew what was expected of them and she asked for the vendor contracts as backup. She is so detailed! She even helped with offering guides for tipping because I had no idea what was expected of tipping all the different vendors. I seriously could write a novel on everything Sandy did, including just taking a call when I was stressed. All of this said, Sandy genuinely cared about making the day special and you can tell how invested she is in her work.
I contracted with Baxter’s Creative Events in October 2019 for the Luxury Full Service Package that included full wedding planning, day of event coordination, DJ, and Photobooth. As mother of the bride, living 6 hours away, I can truthfully say I could not have done this without Sandy. What was originally supposed to be a year and a few months before the wedding, turned into another whole year (1/2022). I could not have asked for any more from Sandy. When we needed to reschedule the wedding and delay it for a year, she helped me reschedule everything, with no additional cost! She was always very responsive, most of the time within hours to any questions I had, but most importantly she was reaching out to me for things before I even thought about them. Everything was planned well in advance and Sandy told me to just relax and enjoy the wedding. Sandy and her husband Will took charge of the rehearsal and the day of wedding events without involving me in any decisions. The evening just flew by and everything was so well scheduled and everything just happened as it was suppose to. My husband was not involved much with the wedding planning at all. I overheard him talking to someone on the phone about the evening and he said “the wedding planner did it all and kept everything in order and told us exactly what to do when”. It couldn’t have been a more thought out wedding and beautiful evening for my daughter and son in Law. Her vendor recommendations, especially Palette of Petals just made the evening magical. Thank you, Sandy, keep up the great professional service to future clients.
Baxter’s Creative Events was by far one of the best vendors we hired for our wedding day! Owner, planner, day of coordinator, and America’s Wedding Sweetheart Sandy Baxter was a joy to work with! She ensured that our day went PERFECTLY and anticipated our every need! Our wedding occurred over a busy holiday weekend and Sandy thought everything thru and then some! She is extremely detailed oriented and reads the fine print which saved money and trouble from a potential disaster! I had the pleasure of seeing Sandy’s work prior to my own wedding as she did my Matron of Honor’s wedding. So I have observed Sandy as a Bridesmaid and then Bride and I can tell you that she was nothing but professional, knowledgeable, and amazing! If you are looking for a planner or day of coordinator Baxter’s Creative Events is the way to go! You will NOT be disappointed! Additionally, I could not leave out her husband Will who works with her as well! He was awesome and a mind reader! I had the very thought that I wanted a drink of water and before I could even verbalize it he came with two glasses of water for my husband and me! He even found my correct shade of lipstick for touch ups prior to the reception a true gift! My husband continues to refer to him as “My Guy Will!” Baxter’s Creative Events is an amazing team that will make all of your wedding dreams come true!
Sandy is absolutely incredible!! If you are considering booking a wedding planner, you must book her - no questions asked. Being new to the area and having a career that didn't allow me much free time, Sandy made planning my wedding so easy. She is so invested in her brides and your wedding day will be absolutely spectacular with Sandy as your planner. Could not recommend her more. Best wedding planner in the area!!!
If you are in the market for a wedding planner/day of coordinator, there should be no reason for you to continue searching after speaking with Sandy at Baxter’s Creative Events. From our first conversation with her, you could see how invested Sandy was in getting to know her couples, their stories, and what they are looking for in their big day. Throughout the entire wedding process, Sandy was extremely organized and on top of everything that was occurring during the planning process. Her notes, cheat sheets, recommendations, and guidance throughout helped us have and truly enjoy the wedding of our dreams at the Williamsburg Winery.
When the weekend of our wedding came, Sandy had the big event down to a science, and so did her husband who assisted the guys with boutonniere pinning, as well as always ensuring nobody had an empty glass! Flawlessly, she ensured that everything was in its proper place, that everyone knew their part, and where they were supposed to be at what particular time. We even had one of the hairstylists for the bride comment on the fact that she was the “calmest bride she has ever worked for” and she attributes all of that to Sandy, and the impeccable job she did on ensuring our wedding was everything we could have ever hoped for.
Sandy, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for everything and for delivering Meagan and I a wedding straight out of a fairytale. We are so thankful for all the hard work and dedication that you have towards your clients, and we are so thankful to have gained a friend as well during this whole process.
For anyone still hesitant, (although, not sure how you could be after this rave review) hire Sandy at Baxters Creative Events, I promise it will be the best decision you ever made!
Sandy Baxter and her amazing team did the most incredible job with planning our wedding! From phone calls to facetimes to detailed emails, I could always count on Sandy to be there for me and on top of her game when it came to planning! Not only was she an amazing planner and organizer, but she made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with. The attention to detail and attention to what my husband and I’s priorities were was off the charts. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing day and wedding planning experience!
What can we say about Sandy? She is simply amazing! We honestly could not do anything without her. From the very beginning, she was in constant contact with us about everything. She had never worked with our venue before, and did not hesitate to reach out to introduce herself and work as closely with them as needed. Sandy is a true joy to talk to and extremely personable when we talked about wedding things and then about non-wedding things as we just were able to chat and get to know each other. Her personal touches are what made our day so special. She was able to get to know us so well and was able to handle all of the tiny details we never thought to think of. Her and her husband were constants throughout our night and everything went off without a single problem. Without her, we would not have had the most special weekend.

From the first Zoom meeting with Sandy to the end of the reception was as close to perfection as you could ask for! She handled EVERY detail! I actually was able to enjoy the event didn’t worry about anything. Sandy was grace under pressure dealing with an unusual situation that could’ve brought a negative vibe to our event , however, she was delightful and professional throughout the night! I would hire her again in a heartbeat !
Sandy's passion for wedding planning was evident in Garrett and Kathleen's fairy tale day. We have used Baxter’s Creative Events for both of our sons weddings! Sandy is both thorough and personable. Both weddings were out of town and she visited each venue prior to the events. She provides personal service that gives you the wedding you envision!
If I could give more stars, I would! Sandy absolutely was the reason why my daughter's wedding was perfect! My daughter serves in the military and had to plan her wedding living across the country and under a lot of difficult time constraints. Sandy's organization, guidance and communication was impeccable with us, and with all vendors. On top of her incredible professionalism, she is warm, friendly and a joy to be with! I highly recommend Sandy Baxter - she truly was the most important part of making my daughter's wedding perfect and one of the very best day of our lives!
There are no words to express my gratitude for Sandy of Baxter’s Creative Events. My daughter got engaged in 2019, and we planned the wedding during COVID, and hoped nothing was going to delay her 2021 wedding. We knew we needed a Month/Day of Coordinator and Sandy was available. Sandy certainly made the day special, and seamless for my daughter, and I. I turned all the details over to Sandy to let her do what she does best! She was on top of us with deadlines, and questions regarding decor for the wedding day, to ensure my daughter's wedding vision was set to her expectations. The wedding was an outside venue (Country Villa Weddings in Pungo) where everything needed to be moved from their storage to the pavilion, grass areas, and other rented items to fit our Forest Vibes theme. Sandy, and her team offered to move tables, chairs, benches, and even added the linens to the tables as well as the pre-folded napkins, silverware, and menu cards. Sandy, and her team even placed the favors on the tables as well, and everything looked perfect, and beautiful. She even put 200 donuts on the donut bar for us. Sandy went above, and beyond her services, and exceeded our expectations! She directed the rental company where to place the rented chairs, bar, tables, etc. Sandy did an amazing job! This was by far, the best choice to have her as the Month/Day of Coordinator so I could enjoy the day as the Mother of the Bride with my daughter. If you are reading this, please reach out to Sandy of Baxter's Creative Events, as you will not be sorry. She is a true professional, fun to work with, and knows how to get the job done. I can't say enough about Sandy Baxter, she is the best! I knew within 5 minutes of meeting with her that she was the right planner for me! She is so organized and very meticulous. My life is so busy with a full-time job, raising a family and going to school. I never worried because Sandy was always there helping me plan and reminding of upcoming timelines. Our wedding was supposed to be held June 2020 however COVID-19 had other plans. We had to make the unfortunate decision of canceling our big wedding celebration. Needless to say, we were devastated. As soon as I contacted Sandy she was right there to help with no hesitation. Sandy was not only my wedding planner but is now a friend.
Sandy is your Wedding Planner's Favorite Wedding Planner. She is just that amazing! Sandy has been my life saver and guardian angel throughout this entire wedding planning process. We truly could not so this without her. My fiancé and I hired Sandy in October 2018, a month after we were engaged. During the consultation, there was an instant connection and I knew that I had to hire her. Her fun-loving spirit, great energy, and authenticity was captivating . She also had a fun and bubbly personality that meshed so well with mine. I could trust Sandy's judgment and opinions when it came to certain details for our wedding as well as which vendors would be a good fit for our special day. She gave her opinion when asked and also helpful advice. She was never pushy with her advice or opinions, which we appreciated. She always respected our decisions. Whenever I mention that Sandy Baxter is my wedding planner, I hear wonderful things about her. Sandy has gone above and beyond for us during this entire wedding planning process. My fiancé and I currently live on two different continents with a 9 hour time difference, and she ensured that we were all on the same page while wedding planning. There have been many emails, video conferences and three-way calls to get things accomplished. Sometimes we would have multiple vendor meetings back to back when my fiancé would be in the country visiting. Sandy would always show up to our meetings with positive energy, a fun-loving spirit, and of course her Starbucks lol. She made those long days fun and memorable. Although it was a-lot to process during those multiple meetings, Sandy was patient and carefully explained to us everything during our appointments so that we could make the right decision for us. Throughout this entire process, Sandy has been AMAZING! When COVID-19 happened, Sandy was so compassionate and encouraging as we were conflicted on whether to postpone our wedding. When we ultimately decided to postpone to 2021 due to local restrictions put in place, Sandy immediately began contacting vendors to align everyone with potential new dates, getting new contracts, invoices, addendums, and took the lead on re-planning and organizing out big day. She gladly took on this task to ensure we had one less thing to worry about. It was a huge relief! She also was an emotional support and would be an ear to listen during that difficult time. After two years, which will soon turn into three years, Sandy has become a great friend and we consider her family. This has turned into a lifetime bond and I am glad to have her apart of this monumental moment. She is hands down the BEST investment I have made in my wedding. I HIGHLY recommend hiring her. You WILL NOT regret it!!
My wife hired Sandy and at first I was on the fence about having a wedding planner however after my first meeting with her , I was nothing but amazed. She knows what she is doing and she VERY THOROUGH. She made our experience very smooth and there was never a moment where I felt unsettled. My wife hired Sandy Baxter as our wedding planner in October 2018 for our October 2019 wedding. As the groom, I was not extremely excited to be knee deep in the planning process but after our first meeting with Sandy I realized there was nothing to fear because she would take care of everything and relieve most of the stress on us. Sandy was well organized and methodical about every stage of the process. Even though I was not heavily involved, my then fiancé kept me updated every step of the way. The entire year of planning was quite an enjoyable process thanks to Sandy. On the day of, everything ran smoothly, no hiccups and even if there were issues, we would not have known because she handled everything flawlessly. Sandy was amazing throughout my entire planning process! The first time we spoke was via telephone and it was like talking to one of my girlfriends! We stayed on the phone for over an hour! She made planning my wedding so easy and stress-free! At our first meeting, she gave me a packet with timelines, vendor contacts and websites that I would need to reference if I had any questions. I had over 250 people at my wedding and it ran smoothly because of Sandy and her team! I highly recommend her to any bride!
Sandy was so very professional! I could tell right away she really cares about her profession and she ultimately wants to make guests and couples feel at home! The decor was beautiful and their was some amazing vendors. I would highly recommend Sandy! You absolutely will not be disappointed!

Sandy helped to make my vision come to life and exceeded my expectations for my wedding day and throughout the entire planning process. Where do I start? I found Sandra Baxter online while shopping for a Wedding Planner in the Hampton Roads area. I initially met with another Events Planning firm and thought for sure I’d go with them, but Sandy contacted me and we hit it off after an hour long conversation over the phone and that’s when I sealed the deal (a year before my wedding date). I didn’t consider myself to be a typical bride, so I wanted to work with someone who’d respect my ideas and not force their opinions and suggestions on me, and Sandy was extremely understanding and open to my desires and my cool, laid back nature. She is very detailed and tremendously organized. Communication between us was easy, between emails, text messages and phone calls, I was able to reach her whenever I needed something, and she was good at putting my mind at ease. She is very connected in the Hampton Roads community and well-known by all their wedding vendors, hence she was able to secure significant discounts for us for lighting and other wedding services. I was extremely stress free the entire year of wedding planning because Sandy practically took care of everything. On the day off, everything went off without a hitch. She ensured all vendors were where they should be, and everything ran ON TIME. My wedding day was a complete success and so very memorable and I am thankful to SB for her expertise in making this happen.
Sandy, was a life saver as a wedding planner. She exceeded our vision of our wedding day. Every request we made was answered in a timely manner. Her attitude from August ‘18 to October ‘19 was always up lifting. The vendors that were rendered with her services were great. Her husband (Will) was also a great addition to the team. I really can’t say enough about Baxter’s Creative Events. All I will say is...if it’s up to me she will be busy for the foreseeable future, because I will be recommending her to anyone who asks. Sandy was exactly what we needed for our wedding! Her connections in the area, experience, punctuality, organization and sweet personality made the entire planning process and wedding day relatively painless. My husband and my schedules are borderline hectic but Sandy was flexible and made communication and meetings work (even when her schedule was busy too!). Sandy kept us on track and stepped in to reach out to vendors or even provide inspiration from past weddings.
The day of the wedding was literally a dream! We special ordered a wedding cake stand and the delivery got pushed back until the Monday after the wedding. All it took was a couple text messages while I was getting my hair done and Sandy was able to get us another cake stand which ended up looking way better than the one we ordered!
The organization put into her business is unmatched and ultimately leads to a seamless wedding day with little to no stress. I will recommend her services to every engaged friend of mine!

Sandy and her team were absolutely AMAZING! My wedding was at the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk and I used the luxury package from Baxter Creative Events. Sandy created a timeline that covered every minute of the wedding. Not only did the timeline drive each vendor to completion but she executed perfectly. The wedding started right on time! 60 seconds early to be exact. Sandy thought of everything! She had a plan A, B and C for the entire day. Each component of my wedding I asked to be special was incorporated how we wanted. Sandy attended each vendor meeting to ensure they knew the plan and overall dream for the wedding. Overall, Sandy exceeded our expectations. She communicated with us every step of the way to ensure our wedding was exactly how we wanted. I don't know where to begin, I hired Sandy in November of 2017. Over the past year and a half of working with her, she has proven herself deserving of the 5 stars I, and so many others, have given her. She does everything you would expect a planner to do, keeping you on schedule as far as booking vendors, reminding you of little details that you may forget, giving you resources for order wedding related things, but she also has your back. She makes sure your vision is always at the forefront of all of the planning, she will speak up for you when she senses that you need some backup. She was wonderful throughout the planning process! Day of, she was fantastic, I could never have done this without her, she kept everything on schedule, things literally could not have run more smoothly. She is just such a machine day of. I would without a doubt 100% absolutely insist that everyone in the area hire her. She has amazing connections and contacts, it is very evident that the vendors love working with her, almost all of the vendors would say, " oh you have Sandy, she is so on top of everything, you're good" She is a super star. WOW! what else can I say? Sandy and her husband were AMAZING! I hired her for day of/month of and she was in contact with me from the beginning. Since my husband is in the army, I was facing the prospect of planning a wedding from the opposite coast of the U.S. from where the wedding was going to be. The very first decision I made in the wedding planning process was to hire Sandy as my full-event wedding planner. BEST. DECISION. EVER. It took one phone call for me to be sure that she was the wedding planner for me. Because I couldn’t make very many trips back to the east coast, we did almost all of the planning over email and the phone. Sandy went to meetings for me when I couldn’t go. She FaceTimed me and described things in so much detail, it felt like I was there. I never went more than a few days without answers to my questions or questions from her on things I needed. In addition to her stellar communication, Sandy knows Virginia Beach and the Hampton Roads area incredibly well. She had helpful advice for every aspect of planning: choosing vendors, budget management, hotel room blocks, catering and rental details, dress fitting/cleaning, invitations… literally EVERYTHING you can think of. Just to give an example, when we figured out late in the game that I would need to rent 200 more chairs for my venue, she had already researched 3 or 4 different alternatives to try to help save me money. Before I even knew there might be an issue, she had already solved it for me. However, Sandy’s support in the planning process is just the beginning. The week of the wedding and at the wedding itself, Sandy and her husband Will did everything to make the wedding go smoothly. They made sure that I didn’t have to think about a thing and I could just be with my new husband, friends, and family, and watch the year and a half of planning come to life. Sandy is simply the best anyone could ever ask for. From the first day she made it clear that she is here for us. The planning process is a very daunting process but Sandy made us feel at ease when we first met her. We can really tell that she has a passion for what she does and her attention to detail is remarkable. From the moment we told her our idea for the wedding theme she was able to help us brainstorm ideas and make the vision of our dream wedding come true. She shared stories of weddings she’s done in the past. Ones that went well and some not so well, but she shared how she handled everything for the couple and still made their night amazing. You’ll have to ask her about them because it’s astounding how she comes through for the couple.
I was very impressed with the wedding planning timelines, because I had no idea on where to start! Sandy has a list of recommended vendors and we were very happy with them as well. I could they have the same great passion for weddings as she does. She makes the planning process fun as we went to see these vendors and most importantly for me, the food tastings. One thing that she really stresses is that she is there to support the couple’s decision. This was really helpful when family, friends etc. we’re pulling us in every direction to do this or that.
On the day of the wedding Sandy was amazing! This is where she really shines and makes it so that all we had to do was enjoy our day. We worked together prior to make a timeline for the day’s events which she coordinates with the vendors and her husband. She makes sure to keep things on time and kept us from getting distracted like taking pictures with everyone and talking to long lost friends. We had some issues with the wedding dress prior to our performance we had planned but of course Sandy comes prepared for anything. She kept calm she made last minute fixes to the dress and we were able to dance the night away.
There are so many positive things I can say about her that I could probably make this review go on forever. I would recommend Sandy to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner. From day one of meeting her, planning throughout the months, to the wedding day, it was all unforgettable and amazing!
Let me be honest, my wife is making me leave this comment. But on this occasion, I don't seriously mind telling my tale.
To begin with, I wasn't really thrilled with the idea of paying someone to plan a wedding, but I certainly didn't know anything about it. When we met Sandy she seemed nice enough. I didn't pay much attention to the details, but she certainly made an impression on my fiancé. We sealed the deal with only four months to spare and I thank God we did! I had no idea of everything that goes into planning a wedding. There were just too many details, and without Sandy I doubt we could've done gotten through them all.
When my wife had exhausted all her questions on me, Sandy was there. When my wife was asking me things that I had never even heard of, or had any interest of ever learning of, Sandy was there. And when it came time to pulling off the perfect wedding, it was Sandy who was there.
We were both extremely happy with everything she did, and all the guidance and help that she provided. Sandy took the time and had the resources to accomplish everything we asked of her. She was an indispensable part of our big day, and I do know that I am truly blessed to have a wife with the intelligence and foresight to hire this outstanding wedding planner. I picked a winner, both of them.
Sandy is the best! I met her once a year and a half before my wedding at Chrysler Museum during the Bridal show. I spoke to a few planners who didn't seem very experienced. Yet one of them gave me great advice. She pointed over to Sandy and said, "that's who you want. She's the best." I actually didn't even get a chance to talk to Sandy, but one glance was enough. I knew she was going to be my planner. While it may seem silly, she simply had that aura about her that day. Just what I was looking for. Of course we waited until four months before the wedding to contact her. Had to make it challenging for everyone. I didn't want to retain some inexperienced and sassy "wedding planners " out there, I wanted a person who knew the business and everybody and everything. My husband and I aren't really talkative people. So we were relieved that Sandy did most of the talking for me, my husband and herself... that was exactly what we needed! I knew if anyone could make our wedding perfect in 3 months, it was Sandy. And she certainly did! I regretted not hiring her a year earlier. She was such a pleasure to work with that I wish I had given us the time to meet more often, without the rush. Do yourself a favor and hire her now! You won't regret it, I promise. She is extremely professional, organized, talented, kind, funny and did I mention she is very beautiful yet? :))
She stayed on top of all the details and dealt with all our craziness. I called her several times to say the least and I couldn't believe she would take the time to listen to my issues or what I was going through. Talking with her was such a relief. To hear that everything was on track and to have her support was really really nice. In addition, just between us, I think she did a lot of stuff that wasn't on her list of included services.
Sandy was so patient and understanding with our last minute changes, including looking for an additional vendor and changing numbers, orders and names of the bridal party. She handled it all so well and with a smile. Sandy made us feel like she sincerely cared about us.

Our experience with the other vendors went much smoother with Sandy’s relationship with each and her expertise in providing guidance along the way. Sandy was very easy to work with. She was always quick to respond and helped with so many of the final details. It was wonderful to have someone who you could explain what you wanted and she just made it happen. Sandy and her husband were there with us on our wedding day coordinating and taking care of all the details but also taking care of us - making sure we had food, drinks, and that my hair was picture perfect. Looking back, having Sandy as our Day of Coordinator was one of the pieces that was absolutely essential to making it such a wonderful day. And she's a lot of fun too!
Sandy was an absolutely fantastic Day of Coordinator. She worked closely with my now wife on every detail and took a lot of the stress out of the day. With everything she and her husband did, we were able to fully enjoy a wonderful day.
