Bay Area Event Staffing

Yikes. I booked 5 servers for my wedding for the cocktail hour and dinner. On the day-of, only three out of the five servers arrived. Two people were no-shows. Unfortunately this did affect the flow of the cocktail hour. We had planned on passed appetizers, which was no longer doable for 140 guests with so few servers. We were given no warning and the company was unhelpful and unapologetic when we reached out to them. One of the servers verbally assured us we would be reimbursed for the cost of the 2 servers who were not present. A week passed and the company did not reach out to us. We emailed them. No response. They only updated the invoice once we called them on the phone. Even still they were billing for the 3 servers (who were there) for an extra 15 minutes each even though the servers' in and out times were clearly documented. Tried to follow up on this. No email response. No response to voicemail. The servers who were present at the wedding were absolutely wonderful and so hard-working. I am very uncomfortable and unhappy with how the management handled this.
