Bay Pointe Inn

My husband and I recently got married at the stunning Lakefront Pavilion at Bay Pointe Inn — and from the very beginning, we knew it was the place we wanted to say “I do.” We have absolutely no regrets! The venue is breathtaking on its own, with gorgeous waterfront views that created the most peaceful, romantic atmosphere. On top of that, the staff’s hospitality was next-level. They provided so much helpful guidance throughout the planning process and truly made everything feel seamless. Even without a wedding planner, I felt fully supported thanks to their incredible in-house catering and event managers (shoutout to Mariesa and Juno!) and our amazing day-of coordinator, Meagan. She ran the show flawlessly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — I truly can’t thank her enough. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner onsite in the Fireside Room, which made everything so easy and gave us extra time to enjoy with our family and wedding party. The food was delicious, and another huge perk was staying in the beautiful Bay Pointe cottages. Having a place right at the venue for all of us to stay and celebrate together made the weekend even more special. All night long, our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was. It was everything we dreamed of and more — the most magical place to start our forever. We truly couldn’t recommend Bay Pointe more!!

We had such an amazing experience with Bay Pointe! We worked with Ashley, Juno, and Lauren. The staff was very transparent and helpful throughout the entire process. Juno was so helpful answering all of our questions and making sure we felt comfortable with each decision we made. I love that they break down the things that need to be completed into bit size milestones so we wouldn’t feel overwhelmed. When it came to the rehearsal and wedding day, everything went so smoothly. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was super special. The grounds are stunning! If you’re looking for an amazing place where the venue sells itself, this is it! The food is also really, really great. We received so many compliments on the venue, the food, the backdrop, and the staff!

We picked Bay Pointe Inn initially because we both really wanted to get married by the water and from the first time seeing the venue we fell in love with it. I did not hire an independent wedding planner and it was not necessary. Madison took care of all of the detail for the Food & Beverage, space, helping to set up the floor plan and quickly responding to any questions I had. The F&B Supervisors for the Rehearsal were very patient with us as some of our guests were running late but they were able to fit everything in before the Rehearsal Dinner started. We also hosted the Rehearsal Dinner in the restaurant, which we were so glad we did. Not only was the food amazing but we were glad to have all of the family close and not worry about getting back to the hotel from another restaurant. They gave us 4 hours in the restaurant and it was ample time for everyone to socialize and eat. The wedding ceremony we had at the Lakefront and everything was set up on time so our families could start our set up. We had our reception in the Pavillion and it was great. We got married May 2nd so it was still cool outside in the evening but inside the Pavillion you would not know they have heaters to keep you warm and comfortable. We chose the Taco Bar for the Dinner and all of the food was amazing. We actually had Bay Pointe take care of all of the food, including desserts since we were not wanting a wedding cake. We also had the Ice Cream Bar, Smores Bar, Cheesecake Bites, Late Night Pizza and Sub Sandwiches. All of this food was also amazing. The F&B Supervisor for the wedding always made sure we had eaten and had drinks even when the bar closed for dinner. We appreciated that since everyone wants to congratulate you sometimes Brides & Grooms don't have chances to sit down and eat. The hotel accommodations were also great (the complimentary breakfast in restaurant was also one of the best included options I have ever had and I work in the hotel industry so I travel quite a bit), we just wish we could have spent another night! On a side note we used DJ Guy Voss, recommended by the venue and he did a great job!

We had our wedding at Bay Pointe Woods on 12/14/24 and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting for a winter wedding! We booked the venue about 14 months in advance and Spencer and Mariesa were amazing. Spencer answered all of our questions very quickly and thoroughly. We had a lot of compliments on our food and alcohol from our guests, for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Our day of coordinator Megan was the best we could ask for! Overall, we would highly recommend Bay Pointe!

My husband and I got married at Bay Pointe Labor Day weekend! I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Staff was super helpful and responsive throughout our planning process. We also got SO many compliments from our guests on the food!

We absolutely loved planning and holding our wedding with Bay Pointe Inn. The whole wedding process was so easy with them and was perfect for us. The wedding day was handled amazingly and the day of coordinator allowed us to be in the moment. I heavily recommend anyone plan with Bay Pointe for a wedding day that is special.

We had the absolute greatest experience with Bay Pointe. From the very beginning, our wedding event coordinators at Bay Pointe were so helpful and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. I could not have imagined a better venue for our wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect! I will definitely be recommending Bay Pointe to any future couples that ask about our experience.

We just had our wedding at the Bay Pointe Boat House this summer, and everything was great. The best thing about our whole experience was hands down our day-of coordinator Stephanie. We didn't know what to expect but she went WAY above and beyond. If "on top of it" was a person, it would be her. Before I could even communicate if I needed help with something, Stephanie somehow read my mind and had it handled. She single-handedly kept us stress-free all day, we love her. Our bartender was also amazing, she was fast, efficient and somehow remembered everyone's drinks the whole night. I could make eye contact with her from across the room and my drink would be waiting for me! For the other highlights, the venue is perfect for small, intimate weddings. It was so nice to have the whole weekend in one place and to be able to stay with our entire wedding party. With the Boat House, we had the convenience of a banquet hall but the fun and comfort of a house party, all of our guests and vendors loved it too. Also, we had a buffet for dinner, and the team working with us were so accommodating when it came to our guests with food allergies. As for the wedding planning process, our point persons, Ashley, Juno and Spencer were all very responsive and helpful. My only wish was for some kind of site or portal to keep better track of things—final decisions, answers to questions, invoices/receipts and any other reference material was buried in a year's worth of email threads. Overall highly recommend everything to do with the Bay Pointe Boat House :)

I could not recommend Bay Pointe enough! The venue is gorgeous and all of our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was! I loved that our guests could stay on site too. The staff, Juno, Mariesa and Stephanie were all so amazing and helpful throughout the whole process! The food was great too. The photos turned out amazing because bay pointe is so pretty! Definitely choose Bay Pointe for your wedding!

Our wedding experience with Bay Pointe Inn was everything we could have hoped for plus more! Everything was absolutely perfect! It all started with our tour with Sales Manager Mariesa. She showed us the different venues to hold the wedding, and that’s when we fell in love with the Lakefront Pavilion and its beautiful views right on Gun Lake. From there, my fiancée and I worked with the Catering Event Manager Juno to plan the nitty and gritty details. Juno was a constant professional and helped us plan every second of our wedding and food details. The day of our wedding, Courtney took great care of us and ensured that everything went perfectly throughout the day. She even went above and beyond and arranged the flowers on our cake, which turned out beautifully! We couldn't have asked for a better event supervisor for our big day and we are so grateful to her for helping make the day perfect and stress-free. Thank you so much to everyone at Bay Pointe!

I could not say anything better about Bay Pointe! They made our wedding absolutely perfect and I would choose them again time and time again. Leading up to our day, they were very responsive and made sure all of the details were ironed out. We rented out the Boathouse Villa, which was the most adorable space (both for the wedding and an incredible weekend spent celebrating with friends and family)! We received so many compliments about the food, venue, and overall relaxed vibe. We worked with Jessica on the details and Jocelyn on the day of and they were both incredible. I highly recommend this venue!

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding! We are a bit older and had a very small wedding, the staff was very accommodating and treated us so wonderful! All of our guests were very impressed with the venue and staff. We used one of the recommendations from the venue for the photographers. Amy Carroll Photography, and we are SO in love with our photos from her!!! HIGHLY recommend!!! We also used bee entertainment for our music. They were very nice.

I have zero complaints about my wedding at the Lakefront Pavilion on 9/30. The staff and my coordinator were extremely helpful throughout the planning process and day of. The venue and hotel rooms are beautiful, and Bay Pointe made it a very special day for my husband and I!

My husband and I just had our wedding at Bay Pointe and it was like a fairy tale. It was gorgeous, the food was amazing and the service was great! Our day of coordinator was Jocelyn and I can't stress enough how outstanding she was. I am such a stresser and always worry about the little details but with Jocelyn, she stayed on top of everything and was on took care of every detail before I even had time to think of it, much less stress, leaving me to have a more fun and relaxing day than I ever dreamed possible! Madison and Ashley were my point people leading up to the wedding and they were fantastic. My husband and I live out of state so there were so many emails back and forth as I asked them extra questions, not knowing the area. They always answered quickly and never seemed to mind. Madison in particular was invaluable helping me with the DJ, who had extra questions and concerns. As for the venue itself, it was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and exceeded my expectations. The room was so nice, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud with comfortable pillows and super soft sheets and blankets. The Jacuzzi tub was super great too, especially after the long day of being on our feet. Also, I highly, highly recommend grabbing some of the cookies after check in. They are fantastic and go quickly! All in all, I would definitely recommend this venue for your wedding. I was very happy with everything!

Bay pointe provided the absolute most beautiful wedding I could have ever asked for. My grand parents lived on gun lake my whole life and just recently passed so it was so special to get to have my wedding there. Everything was great, Juno was an incredible communicator, everything runs like a WELL oiled machine, and they had a plan for everything. It was on the expensive side for sure, but there was a lot of stuff that came with that that I didn’t have to worry about and peace of mind is great. If we could get married again we would do it at bay pointe a thousand times over.

We had an amazing wedding thanks to Bay Pointe Inn! Madison was so easy to work with and we had Jocelyn for our day of coordinator, and she was great! Our ceremony & reception was at the lakefront lawn and it was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing! Along with having a hotel right on site was perfect for our guests so they did not have to drive home. I am thankful for having our wedding in late September as Gun Lake is very popular in the summer time so the resort does get really busy by the docks especially. I did get nervous with strangers walking through but there was staff on site watching. Overall, we are very thankful to have found this venue and will be coming back to make visits on our anniversary. :)

From the views to the food, Bay Pointe was everything we could have hoped for. Bay Pointe was the first venue we looked at in the heart of the winter, but knew we wanted a summer wedding on the water. We booked it immediately. The food was delicious, the views were incredible and the staff was so helpful at every single stage. Every person at our wedding kept asking how we found this place and how much they want to come back. Its literally perfect. We had our rehearsal dinner in the Fireside room and watched the sunset. On our wedding day, it down poured during our ceremony time but Paige, our coordinator from Bay Pointe (another reason they are amazing, they provide a day of coordinator) had such a positive outlook, being the bride, I was more calm than half the wedding because I knew the rain would pass, sure enough it did and the sun peaked out and it cooled off, making for a literally perfect evening. We had a party bus pick up a large group post reception and took us to Gun Lake Casino for an after party! The casino also provides a 14 passenger shuttle free of charge. Overall, if you are thinking about having your wedding here, DO IT!

We had our wedding at Bay Pointe Woods back in June! We were both so impressed throughout the whole process. Jessica was always available to answer any questions we had leading up to our day, and the staff (and our vendors) the day of were excellent and took care of everything! It was so nice to be able relax while getting ready and not have to worry about anything. Rehearsal was also great! They have day of coordinators provided for you (that do everything except setup your own decor that your bring in) and they were so helpful in going over everything and assuring us it would go as planned. We had a Thursday rehearsal (Friday wedding) so nothing else was going on that evening afterwards. Our bridal party and family were able to hangout outside around the fire pits, and they let us bring in our own drinks and pizza (ordered from Lakeside Pizzeria right down the road on Gun lake, definitely recommend) which was super nice and saved us some money! We set up yard games and some extra lawn chairs right outside our cottage, and had a great and laid back rehearsal which is what we wanted! The Woods location itself is beautiful, and the cottages being right on site was a huge plus! Our bridal party and family all stayed the night before and the night off. The rooms were super nice, spacious, clean, and updated. Perfect to get ready in. The ceremony spot is absolutely gorgeous, and the reception area was incredible. We loved how the reception venue had a wrap around sidewalk and that guests were able to mingle inside/outside during cocktail hour and the reception. Food was also incredible! We had the prime rib, chicken chardonnay, mashed potatoes, and green beans. All amazing! Late snacks and appetizers were also delicious. Overall would 10/10 recommend. It couldn’t have gone better, and it was so great to see all of our family and friends also have a great time.

My husband and I highly recommend working with Bay Pointe for your big day! We just got married on 8.11.23 and it truly was the perfect day. The staff at Bay Pointe (shout out to Mariesa, Madison, and Jocelyn!) were all incredible. Madison was so kind about all of my questions leading up to our day. We felt in such good hands with Jocelyn during our day - she made sure everything ran on time and kept our huge wedding party in line nicely. I am SO HAPPY we decided to go with Bay Pointe. In my opinion, it was a very good value for the resources they provide and the high quality of service offered throughout the entire wedding planning process.
