We can’t say enough good things about Brenda and Marie, our amazing wedding coordinators! From start to finish, Brenda helped plan every little detail, ensuring that our day would be exactly what we wanted. Marie worked tirelessly on the day of the wedding, handling every detail with incredible care and dedication to make sure everything went smoothly and just how I envisioned it. I truly couldn’t have done it without them—they took so much stress off my shoulders and allowed us to fully enjoy our day. If you want your wedding to be seamless and stress-free, Brenda and Marie are the dream team!
If you are planning a wedding in-state or from out of state in Maine or the Northeast, I highly recommend you hire Brenda and her team!
Our main reason for hiring a wedding planner was 1) to ensure our parents were able to enjoy the day fully without working through the ceremony and reception and 2) we didn't have enough experience or time to plan a wedding ourselves during a relocation cross-country.
I can't thank or speak highly enough of Brenda's execution of our wedding weekend in Rangeley, ME. From the beginning of our planning process, we began working with Brenda virtually from Georgia during our relocation back to Maine. She custom-tailored a package for us that included full service wedding planning, on-site coordination for our wedding weekend, and event rentals. She was there with us every step of the way ensuring that we were hitting key milestones, identifying the best venue for our vision / budget, and helping with recommendations of other vendors in her network.
Based on a series of venues we reviewed virtually, we ultimately chose to have our wedding at Bald Mountain Camps in Oquossoc, ME. All of our guests stayed on-site for the weekend, traveling in from across the US. Brenda executed our ideas perfectly, bringing in her own expertise and wisdom to ensure we didn't forget the little details.
Most importantly, the wedding coordinator resigned at our venue in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Brenda jumped in despite the extra stress on her and work to ensure we didn't notice any gaps or behind the scene changes.
For rentals, we rented an arbor, lighting, cocktail tables, full dining tables, chairs, and a tent. Brenda's team killed in - setting up everything in a timely manner ahead of guest arrivals. The quality of her rentals are the best we had seen, and our guest were thrilled.
We will forever be grateful for Brenda's support and help! We look forward recommending her on to friends and family in the future, and perhaps using her stunning rentals at future events! Thank you for everything, Brenda!
I truly cannot say enough good things about Brenda and the BBs Events & Rentals team. We worked with BB's for both planning/day of coordination and design. From start to finish, Brenda exceeded our expectations in every way. She was incredibly easy and enjoyable to work with and did not miss a beat. She ensured that every decision made was led by our opinions and ultimately my vision, but also helped lead us in the right direction when we were unsure about something. I struggle with making decisions and Brenda was patient with me throughout the process.
By the time our wedding week arrived, I genuinely was not nervous about mishaps on the wedding day because I had full confidence in Brenda and her team, as Brenda exudes professionalism and a calming / admirable confidence in what she does. I also was not worried about the decor, but we were absolutely blown away when we saw how Brenda and her team executed everything. Our reception was held in a ski lodge, and multiple family members who grew up skiing at Sugarloaf said they didn’t even recognize the room. It was transformed from a mundane ski lodge room to a breathtaking reception with incredible lighting, flowers, and table settings. One of our favorite parts was the sweetheart table - Brenda took my ‘inspo pic’ and somehow made it 10 times better. There were multiple times throughout the night that I just looked around the room in absolute awe at how wonderful it all looked.
My mom and I both agreed (before and after the wedding day) that working with BBs was the best money we spent for the wedding!! Incredibly grateful to BBs :)
As a type A anxious bride who couldn’t manage to clone myself to execute my vision on my wedding day, hiring BBs for day of coordination was the best choice I made. My only regret is not having BBs plan the whole event. However, everything was executed beyond what I imagined. The only things I had to worry about was the weather and if people were stepping on my veil. I was able to fully enjoy my day because I could 100% trust that everything was under control and taken care of. This includes making sure we actually got to enjoy elements that of the day that we otherwise wouldn’t have. And I would definitely say this trust was built over YEARS that Brenda checked my work (even though I got a day of coordination package). I would’ve genuinely drove myself insane if not for the skilled guidance of Brenda. 1000/10 stars. You will regret it if you don’t have BBs be a part of your day.
We had an absolutely amazing experience working with Brenda and Marie. Their expertise and professionalism made our wedding planning and execution as easy as it could be. They have a great network of vendors and a great inventory of their own rentals that streamlined the whole process.
We could not have chosen a better wedding planner to work with. Brenda was amazing from our initial conversation to the day after the wedding. We chose her full package, as we got married at Camp Mataponi in Maine and we had to bring a lot in our own. She was professional, organized, responsive and incredibly helpful among many other great qualities. She made sure we stayed on track during our meetings and was always available through text, email or phone call. In addition to her excellent planning, she made our entire wedding weekend run smooth. She was 100% available for us all weekend making sure everything went just right. Brenda exceeded all of our expectations from beginning to end. It is an amazing feeling to walk away with so many great memories of our special day and a wedding planner we can now call a friend.
Our wedding day was a dream and BBs Events & Rentals was a large part of that! Brenda and her team were amazing! We initially were looking for day-of coordination, but were pleased to find that Brenda and her team could also provide planning, decorating and rental services!
She helped us a ton with the planning. My husband and I were both the first of our siblings to get married, so our parents had not been through a wedding planning process before -- Brenda helped us navigate the process, was patient with all of our questions (and there were many!), was respectful of our budget and even gave us some great vendor recommendations! Also, as a Bride from out of state, it was a huge help to have someone in a planning role in state and able to survey our venue as well as recommend vendors to us!
She made sure that we knew the schedule the day of the wedding and didn't have to worry about tracking down vendors. Her team made sure we got enough food, had our drinks brought to a new building when we switch buildings for dancing, and was even there to fix my bustle as needed!

Brenda was absolutely amazing to work with start to finish. Her designs were unbelievable gorgeous for both our Rehearsal Dinner and Reception. Brenda was phenomenal to work with from start to finish! My now husband and I met with Brenda and her fantastic team multiple times during our engagement to go over our wedding day vision, and they were so patient and engaged each and every time we saw them. Our wedding day was made so much smoother knowing the entire BB's team was setting up our decorations and tables, and we still have guests raving about how beautiful everything was! We met Brenda through her work on a number of events in our community. We hired her to be our wedding planner and to provide the rentals for our event. She did both jobs flawlessly! We purchased Brenda’s full wedding planning package, and she was there every step of the way via phone, zoom, and in person. She was able to refer us to a number of vendors; she worked fabulously with those she knew as well as those who were new to her. Her schedule for the wedding day was indispensable, and her confirmation calls to each of the wedding participants were extremely useful. She was incredible with both the big picture and the small details. Our event had the challenge of transporting close to 100 people to two locations, but Brenda coordinated the whole thing. With Brenda on site the day of the wedding, we felt confident knowing that she would take care of whatever came up—and she did. Regarding the rentals she provided, everything was lovely and delivered as promised. Her design suggestions were on point and the venues looked breathtaking. Everything that was rented through BB’s Events was great quality and looked fantastic. Bottom line, Brenda found a way to arrange everything we wanted and to make our day special!
After a lot of stress trying to find a wedding coordinator/decorating service, I got lucky and found Brenda. She was very professional, kind, amazing to work with, and really helped me pull together all the details to make our wedding what we wanted. She either had everything I wanted for rentals or was able to source it without problem. Having Marie’s coordination assistance on the day was invaluable and made the day so much less stressful for me. Brenda and her team are great at what they do and really make wedding dreams come true!
It was so wonderful to work with someone who really cared and understood all of the challenges we faced in order to have our wedding during a pandemic. We had to change our guest count several times, which meant our order quantities changed several times too. Brenda cared and worked with us through it all and I was so thankful to have someone that was willing to work with us, and not just say "tough luck - you gave us your deposit you have to stick to the original contract." With all the unknowns of the future, I highly recommend working with Brenda while planning your next event/wedding.
Brenda, Marie, Tom and the rest of the team at BBs Events & Rentals
did not disappoint with the coordination and presentation of our
daughters wedding. We knew the weekend wedding would be beautifully
decorated and run smoothly but when the time actually came and we
arrived for the rehearsal dinner and entered the barn....the gasp of
OOOOs and Ahhhhs from not only us but our guests was priceless. The
café lights with long farmer tables set up with kraft paper
beautifully hand designed by Hillary Brochu at Lilac Designs with
special tidbits about the bride and groom at each place setting and
buffalo plaid napkins with gorgeous copper flatware with quaint
lanterns and greens down the center of the tables not to mention the heater towers and cafe lights for the outdoor cocktail area! It was
sophisticated elegance in a causal environment.
On the wedding day, we didn't have a care in the world. The team did
their magic and Marie kept checking on us to see if our daughter and
her bridal party needed anything. Any questions were immediately
answered with a comforting response. Our focus was our daughter and BBs team took care of EVERYTHING else!
The wedding itself was shear perfection, every little detail was taken care of and the look the team created was spot on and breathtaking. So many guests as they entered the reception said that it looked like a magazine spread. Rustic sophistication to perfection, copper lanterns and accent pieces with wood accents and lace doilies with the café lights and draping to soften the rustic barn. Simple but so elegant.
The ceremony was outside captured the view thru a antique glass door
arbor. We were all in awe!
When we met Brenda and Marie at the beginning of the wedding planning process at their wonderful shop they asked a few questions and had a mock up of the table setting for us to see and make sure that we were on the same page. Countless emails were immediately replied and each and every be of them gave us a sense of relief that they knew what they were doing and truly listened to what we were looking for.
BBs went above and beyond and even had a few surprises of added
additions to the events which was very generous of them! If you are in
need of an event planner or just a company to rent a few special
pieces, do yourself a favor and contact BBs Events & Rentals! For a
very reasonable price you can have a very magical event stress free.
Cannot wait to use them again when our other daughter decides to get
married (hopefully in the near future).

Where to begin with our dear Brenda?! I'll start with this: if you are planning your own wedding or have lots of DIY elements, choose the absolute best vendors that you can. For us, that meant hiring Brenda for all of our rentals and as our day of coordinator.
From the very beginning, it was clear that Brenda was an experienced professional who could guide my husband, family, and I through the daunting process of planning a wedding from abroad. We're a tricky couple to work with - I'm from Maine, but my husband is Belgian and we live in Europe. We planned to get married on my parents' property in the Oxford Hills region, which meant hiring rentals, a tent, a caterer, bathrooms, sorting out parking...everything. From abroad.
With a six hour time difference. Brenda's professionalism, kindness, organization, experience, and faith in us made all the difference in our planning process and, most importantly, our wedding day itself. She asked the questions that we never thought to ask. When we needed more flowers, she picked them from her own garden and found us a last minute local contact who gave us stunning blooms. When my mother-in-law broke her leg (!) at the rehearsal dinner, she had a wheelchair ready for her for the wedding day. Brenda reminded me to eat and drink, told all guests to come to her (not me!) with questions and decisions that needed to be made, was the point of contact for every single vendor, and made sure that my husband and I spent our full wedding in the company of our loved ones, not scrambling around telling vendors about timelines, hustling people to different places, or making decisions.
We planned a second much smaller reception for my husband's family back in Belgium, and we didn't have a coordinator....that's when we realized the full magnitude of the work Brenda did for us. My husband spent his time feeling a bit stressed as he tried to move people into the dinner space, made announcements on the microphone, and wondered why he was in charge of so much time keeping and decision-making. At the end of the evening, he had three words: "I miss Brenda!" Our two different experiences (wedding with Brenda as coordinator vs. reception without Brenda as coordinator) made us value her even more.
I recommend Brenda with my whole heart. She took loads off of our plates and ran the show on our wedding day, meaning we spent our time with each other and our loved ones. Thank you thank you Brenda for the beautiful gift you gave us - full presence in every moment of our wedding day.
Brenda was amazing to work with! I hired her as a day of coordinator to help with the rehearsal dinner and wedding day to make sure we were on track at all times. She went above and beyond and stayed in contact with us throughout our engagement to check in on our planning process. She offered a lot of ideas and experience that we would not have otherwise thought of. Her rental shop is so cute and we rented several of her pieces. I could not have enjoyed my wedding nearly as much as I did without Brenda. She took a ton of stress of of me. Money well spent and I would definitely hire her again in a heartbeat!
I cannot say enough about how amazing Brenda and her team were. Brenda was patient, creative, kind, flexible, proffesional, and quite simply incredible. We got married in Maine in June and we are currently living in California. I had all of these ideas of a coastal/elegant/greenery wedding and had no idea how I was going to bring it to life. I chatted with Brenda on the phone because we had some rentals we needed, and after our conversation she was able to pull together my vision perfectly that we ended up hiring her as our event designer and eventually added her as our day of coordinator. I can say without a doubt in my mind that everything went so well because of Brenda and her team, and hiring BB's was easily the best decision I made throughout the wedding process. Brenda just had it covered and she was easy to talk to and had a solution for everything. All of our guests were raving about the decor and the flow of the event, and my parents were recommending Brenda to everyone at the wedding (and originally they didn't want a wedding planner!). I would recommend working wtih BB's in ANY capacity, but honestly I would hire them as your full wedding planner from the beginning because the value and ease of mind you will get from working with them is unbelievable. I could write forever about this team, but I'll leave it at you don't need to look any further & get to work with Brenda!
My Husband and I were on a strict budget and wanted to do all of the planning and decorating our selves. We didn't think we would be able to afford a planner or decorator. After running the numbers --- it cost the exact same thing to have Brenda and her team do it. and OH MY GOODNESS, they went above and beyond. We truly thought that it would simply "meet our expectations". Their hard work BLEW US AWAY. Never did we imagine we would has a wedding as beautiful as it was. From the parking lot to the ceremony and then to the reception--- little details everywhere! My husband is very frugal and picky and didn't want to spend any money! He is now the one recommending BBs Events & Rentals to EVERYONE. Words can't even express how hard Brenda and her team work for their clients. We would hire them over and over again. Truly amazing.
