Valerie and her team were amazing. She did so much setup for us, calmed my nerves and was there everytime I needed her. She made the day seamless and kept the schedule. She was easy to communicate with and was such a pleasure to work with.
My husband and I cannot appreciate enough of Valerie’s support and coordination on the day and planning.
At first, we really had no idea for where to start and she gave us a great guidance which comforted us a lot. On the wedding day, she brought our dream in a real world. I was amazed to see all the details were present…!!! Also, during the ceremony/reception, she was so flexible to adjust the timeline with seeing the flow and guests. I can tell our wedding wouldn’t be perfect without her support…!
My husband and I can’t say enough about the incredible experience we had at our son’s wedding thanks to Valerie. I am beyond ecstatic that we chose Valerie to coordinate my daughter’s wedding. She is highly gifted and has plenty of experience coordinating large events. The wedding was large to say the least…20 in the bridal party and over 500 guests. She communicated thoroughly with my daughter to determine what she would want the day to look like. She kept an impeccable timeline leading up to the wedding and worked well with each vendor so that the day was seamless and enjoyable for everyone. Her attention to detail and thorough execution of what was needed made us all feel at ease. With Valerie in charge of everything we were able to focus on spending time with friends and family. Our wedding would not have been the incredible, MAGICAL day it was without Valerie's exceptional planning. We hired Beatific Events for day-of-coordination (at the recommendation of our venue in Carlsbad) and I am SO thankful we did. Valerie and Kristyn made sure that our wedding went as smoothly and perfectly as possible without a hitch, and at an extremely reasonable price!
We received so many compliments from our guests about how we hired real professionals who were on top of everything, every step of the way, from planning through execution, and kept things running efficiently throughout the event. The excellent, thorough communication and meetings from the initial consult to the day-of put me at ease knowing that I could trust she and her team would not miss any details and would handle a lot of the behind the scenes work to take unnecessary stress off of the bride and groom. I can't thank them enough for the support and excellent organization of the vendors and timeline. My husband and I couldn’t be more grateful that we had Valerie to support us on our wedding day. Our biggest goal in hiring a day-of coordinator was to feel stress free once we made it to our wedding day, and Valerie did just that! She made sure that everything was taken care of especially US! I appreciate her willingness to correspond via email and text leading up to our wedding to make sure all the details, like timelines and layouts, were clear for our vendors. She also helped facilitate a walk through rehearsal the day before. My sister hired Valerie for her wedding, and she did such a fabulous job that she was an easy choice for my own. As the MOTB who planned the entire event, yet wanted to enjoy it as I was a guest was challenging. That's where Val came in like Superwoman! I did not initially want to use a coordintor but it was a requirement of our venue--and it turned out to be a godsend! Having only purchased the "day-of" package, I was not expecting so much ahead-of-time assistance, but Valerie and her team helped with everything from finding my really obscure cake-toppers to managing a massive, unexpected scheduling snafu. (I managed to tell all of our vendors a different start time from the time on the invitation for the guests--and I didn't even end up having to worry about it because Kristyn handled it all for me without my lifting a finger to correct my own mistake). A wonderful value for all of the help we got. Would recommend Valerie, Kristyn, and Sheerah to anyone!
We used Beatific Events as our day-of coordinator and I am so glad we did! We were so happy with them from our first consultation up until our wedding was done! Valerie was great with communication through out the process! She helped us with our timeline (we moved venues so it was extra helpful to have her expertise) and was there to remind us of little details that are easy to forget about when you are wedding planning! The day of our wedding we had Rebecca and Koko help out and they were amazing! They were on top of everything, both had very positive energy, and made our event run so smooth! If you are getting married in San Diego, you should go with Beatific Events as your coordinator! Highly, highly recommend!
We hired Valerie for day-of coordination and it was the best decision we made. Leading up to the day I felt so confident knowing she had things handled. No matter my question or concern she was quick to respond and address the situation. We were worried about a potential hurricane raining out our August wedding in California which was so unbelievable but Valerie already had a plan if we needed to make a switch last minute, luckily we didn’t have to use it and the day was amazing but it helped knowing we had a backup. During the wedding her and her assistant Krystin made it so easy for us to keep on schedule and enjoy the night. We got to enjoy being with our guests and didn’t have to worry about a thing. I can’t thank them enough for being there through it all I don’t know what I would’ve done without them there on my day!
Weddings are never easy. I would definitely recommend a wedding planner. Even though I had Valerie as my day of person, she went much beyond that. I would've asked her to be my full wedding planner but I almost had to reschedule the event. So glad she knew the venue (Westin) well. Valerie was professional, experienced, and helped calm your nerves.
Valerie is so amazing!! She is very professional and has great insight on how to plan the day. The day went seamlessly and she continued to check in on us through out it so we always knew what to expect. I felt completely stress free because I knew she had everything handled.
All my vendors also complimented on how organized and communicative she was which made all the set up smooth and easy.

Valerie is incredible! My daughter was married on April 22, 2023, and we can not say enough about how perfectly the day went. We hired her to help us with all of the logistics and details for the day, and she made it perfect. My daughter talked to me afterwards and said how she continued to check in with her and her new husband throughout the entire evening to make sure they had all of their needs met and they really appreciated it. She was amazing and I will definitely hire her again for my other daughter's weddings.
Valerie is TOP-NOTCH. Whether it was a vendor referral, an exit idea or calming affirmations, Valerie was always there. Not always there like a bee in your ear, but when I needed her, she was there, without fail.
We were lucky enough to have animal ambassadors at our reception.... and although unique and a first (I believe) for Valerie, she knew the right questions to ask, handled the back and forth between venue and vendor all while keeping the integrity of our vision. She made it happen for us!

I could not have had my wedding without Valerie! She had the best vendor recommendations and helped me make sure everything stayed on track and in budget with zero pressure on anything. When it came to the day of, she helped keep me calm before the ceremony and even helped make sure I was able to do my first dance. We had a choreographed dance that we had never practiced in my giant wedding dress, and when I kept tripping over it Valerie saved the day with strategic zip ties that let me move but didn't impact the look of the dress at all. I was so so pleased with how everything turned out and I can't recommend this team enough!! If you're on the fence, go with Valerie and team - you'll be in great hands!
It is hard to put into words how incredible Valerie of Beatific Events was. How do you write a review for the person who made all your dreams come true by planning the best day of your life? It’s been a month since our wedding, and we have just now finished putting our thoughts and feelings together to try to do Valerie some justice. So for anyone reading this, please know that nothing we say can ever compare to how truly special Valerie is.
It did not take long after meeting Valerie for us to realize that we were in good hands. She listened to all of our needs and hopes, she answered all of our questions, no matter how silly, and she put all our doubts at ease with her kind and calming presence.
Throughout our wedding planning she was always there to answer our calls and she always provided a reassuring hand when we needed it most. Whether it was one year or one day before the wedding, she had a way of reassuring us that everything would be okay; that everything would turn out perfectly and she would do whatever necessary for our wedding day to be the best day possible.
Nothing would prepare us for how incredible Valerie was the weekend of the wedding. It all started 2 days before the big day. The forecast called for rain the day of our wedding and our ceremony was set to be outside. While she hoped and wished for the best, Valerie planned for the worst. She called us to ease our stress and contacted the hotel and vendors to set up a plan B just in case.
The day of the rehearsal she was again amazing at controlling a room full of eager family and wedding party members as she calmly went over the plans while answering all types of insane questions.
The 2 greatest choices I’ve made in life have been marrying my best friend and choosing Valerie as our day of coordinator. She went above and beyond making sure our day was beyond perfect. Everything from the venue set up to the smallest detail she took care of. She made sure the vendors were up to speed, the tables were set up, the flowers were perfect, and thousands of other things that I could take years listing. She set up the whole ceremony inside just in case it rained and 1 hour before the wedding, once the sun came out, she moved everything outside. As she had done the past year and a half, she listened to our needs and didn’t let anything or anyone from ruining the day. I’ve been to many weddings in the past where the coordinators are stressed and start yelling at those who do not pay attention, and Valerie was the exact opposite. She took control of every situation without ever being rude or abrasive. She made sure the wedding ran smoothly while at the same taking care of little details that made the it a dream come true. She sewed my jacket button, our belonging were under the sweetheart table in case we needed them, she put our stuff back in our room after the party so we wouldn’t lose them, she took care of EVERYTHING.
We could go on and on explaining how incredibly thankful we are for Valerie and Beatific events, but nothing we say is enough. Valerie made us feel cared for and loved way beyond what we deserved. She turned our dreams into reality and for that we are forever grateful. If you are thinking of planning a wedding, choosing Beatific Events is the best decision you can make. It doesn’t matter what venue, what florist, what DJ, or what photographer you pick, because as long as you have Valerie helping on the day of the wedding, everything will be perfect.
We had the absolute best day getting married at the Westin Carlsbad thanks to the great job that Valerie and her team did for our wedding! Valerie was helpful throughout our planning process - always available via email/text/call to answer any of our questions. This was particularly helpful for us, as we were planning our wedding from out of town! She also went above and beyond to help us realize our wedding vision (e.g. when we saw table runners that we really liked from one of her previous weddings, Valerie helped to obtain them for us so that we could use them for our wedding).
Our wedding day itself went so smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about any of the logistics as Valerie had it all taken care of for us! If we needed anything, she was there an instant, but also managed to run everything behind the scenes at the same time. We highly recommend Valerie and her team, you won’t regret it!

Valerie is absolutely incredible! She was the most integral part of our wedding 💝 We got married at the Mission Bay Resort in 2021. Valerie was so thorough throughout the entire process from day one. Valerie did an outstanding job! She was assertive and clear when instructing our bridal party during the walk through, which I appreciated. During the actual wedding day itself, she was so “behind the scenes” that I felt like a guest at my own wedding… I was so well taken care of and everything went so smoothly! I didn’t have to lift a finger. It was such a perfect day from start to finish. She completely handled last minute hiccups (we almost forgot a microphone for our ceremony!), and she even had a drink waiting for my husband and I after the ceremony ended!
As another review mentioned, Valerie goes above and beyond. While she really shines on the wedding day, she is involved months before. She was extremely organized with all of our vendors. She handled my parents so well — ensuring that my vision was really coming to life! She attended a call with our band, too, to ensure that we had all details covered. We can’t recommend her more!
HIGHLY recommend this team of ladies! Valerie, Kristyn, and Vicki did an amazing job as our “day of coordinators” for our wedding. They went above and beyond what their expected duties were including bustling my dress, bringing us water and snacks, and helping me use the restroom without falling in. They were quick to respond to any questions we had in the weeks before the wedding. Valerie was due with her first baby ten days after our wedding, and she still showed up bright eyed and eager to help! They coordinated with all of our vendors, made sure we got exactly what we wanted (and more), and helped the wedding run smoothly. We would use them over and over again if we ever need event help again. Also, we hope they want to hang out again because we love them.
Valerie is Amazing! She helped me pull together the perfect day, and she was the one running the show on the wedding day. All of my friends were amazed at how seamlessley she orchestrated my "tons of ideas" and she made them fit together and flow, and she handled any and all glitches at the event.
My husband and I were so impressed that as soon as we had a thought, "I would like to set this glass down" one of her assistants magically appeared!
I think most brides have never actually done this before, and having someone who knows the business and has the contacts made the day a success!
