The Beauport was an absolute dream wedding venue for my wife and I. Our coordinator, Amanda, made sure everything went seamlessly from start to finish. Guests are still talking about the high quality of the food and drinks and how beautiful the venue was. We could not have been happier!
My husband and I were recently married at the Cruiseport and stayed at the Beauport for the weekend. They were exceptionally accommodating. Helped with all our welcome bags and after party food and made the whole process a breeze. They thought ahead and brought up chairs for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the morning and even left us the most thoughtful gift following our wedding day. The rooms were absolutely stunning and having the beach and the adorable Beauport Car in the front for picture back drops was the cherry on top! It was also the perfect hotel for our family members traveling and the roof bar allowed for a fun place to hangout and the hotel bar near the lobby was the perfect after party spot.
As soon as we stepped into the Beauport Hotel, we knew that’s where we wanted to get married. We were looking for something elegant that had the ocean as the background and this was exactly it. Working with Amanda P. was great. She made sure to listen to all of our needs from beginning to end, making sure our wedding day was perfect. Our guests still rave about the beautiful location and the delicious food. What better way to mark the last day of Pride, than to marry my absolute favorite person, in this gorgeous place.

Our experience from start to finish at the Beauport was excellent. Melissa, our coordinator, couldn’t have been more relaxed while also ensuring every t was crossed and i dotted. We had a guest tell us she should be hired by the military since she was slipping around always knowing exactly what was going on during our big day and knowing just the right next step at every moment. The food was incredible and all our details were handled with care. Highly recommend getting hitched here!
My husband and I got married at the Beauport Hotel on May 27, 2023. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Beauport! If you're considering it, just book it. You won't be disappointed. I have so many great things to say about this venue.
For one, the space is absolutely beautiful, new, and well-maintained. We lucked out with a beautiful, sunny wedding day so we were married outside on the deck overlooking the ocean! But we both slept well at night knowing that even if it rained, our day wouldn't be ruined and guests would still be comfortable, warm, and dry.
In addition to that, here's everything else we loved about our day at the Beauport!
-Melissa, our event manager, was fantastic. She not only answered all of our questions and met with us 3 separate times (normal procedure for their events team), but she stayed ALL NIGHT and helped me with my bustle, hair, veil, told us where we needed to be & when we needed to be there, organized all of our vendors, everything. She and her team also packed up all our decor & flowers at the end of the night and put it away for us to easily take the next day. It was like having a wedding planner included in the cost of the venue!
-The fact that all our family & close friends could stay onsite was also wonderful! First, we were able to make a weekend out of it. Our families were able to spend time together during the weekend at the rooftop pool, getting meals, and exploring the local area. The shuttle service at the hotel even made trips to drive us and pick us up at our rehearsal dinner! We also were able to all get breakfast on the patio the morning after the wedding. We felt good knowing that guests could stay onsite after the wedding and weren't driving. It just made the whole experience really nice and it really felt like a "wedding weekend" since we were all together at the hotel the whole time. That isn't always the case if you have to stay offsite from a venue, and families are at different hotels.
-The hotel also cleaned our room while we were at the wedding (the room myself and my bridesmaids got ready in) so we came in after the wedding to a beautiful, clean room and a nice gift (handwritten note, mariposa ring dish, and chocolates) from the hotel! It was just SO NICE to come back to a clean room after our wedding, especially since my girls and I got ready in that suite and it was a little messy when we left (from the chaos of the day!).
-The hors d'oeuvres were AMAZING. I'm not even exaggerating. So many people told us how good they were and I tried them all myself. They made up a huge tray for the bridal party (not just one of each item) and we were able to get plenty of everything. They also had sparking water and lemonade in the room for the bridal party before the ceremony.
-The food was also good and we enjoyed our meals. Plus there was so much to choose from! You could really customize so much. Late night snack and dessert options were also available. And the bar you could do in whatever combination you wanted. Open bar, consumption bar, consumption bar for a few hours, signature drinks, etc. Food was also served quickly and efficiently.
Overall, the whole experience was just seamless. They are experts at what they do! I honestly feel like we got a great deal financially as well, given that we were looking at spending significantly more at other local venues that didn't offer the same perks I just mentioned (outdoor weddings only, would need offsite hotel, not as many food options, limited bar "packages", etc). I was just so pleased with our experience here and I can't say enough about the hotel and the whole team. Plus, we can make anniversary trips to the Beauport Hotel now--it will always be a special place for us.
We had a winter wedding at the Beauport and it was the best!! The hotel and ballroom are beautiful, the food was delicious, and our day of coordinator Shannon was great to work with. We couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out and would highly recommend the Beauport to anyone planning a wedding!
The Beauport Staff and our Wedding Planner Melissa were incredible! They anticipated our every need, were very professional, and continued to check in with us months prior and during our big day to make sure everything was what we wanted. The food was to die for and the view from the ballroom and deck where we had our ceremony were stunning! They are truly a venue that knows how to run a wedding seamlessly and made our day so lovely!
My husband and I got married at the Beauport Hotel on 11/5/22. From the very beginning we knew this is the place we wanted to have our reception - the venue is elegant with great food and ambiance.
The hotel has many spaces for guests to relax before and after the wedding. Because of the warm weather, even the rooftop pool was open our wedding weekend! The 1606 bar and restaurant has great food for each meal, and has cozy indoor and outdoor spots for people to relax.
The hotel rooms are immaculate with beautiful nautical touches. We surpassed our 20 room block, and many of our guests were fortunate to stay at the hotel. The staff handed out welcome bags to our guests for us.
We were so fortunate to have Nichole as our venue coordinator. Nichole and the rest of the staff were extremely available for any questions I had throughout planning. Nichole provided us with planning tools to help us to decide on the details of our wedding day and provided excellent suggestions on how to further enhance our day.
The food was incredible - all of our guests raved about the appetizers, dinner, and late night snacks. The bartenders and servers were quick and available.
The venue itself is already beautiful, but Nichole and her staff helped to set up the additional items I provided for decor. On our wedding day, I was so pleased how it all came together and how amazing the staff was in helping make our day the best day for us!
My husband and I were married at the Beauport Hotel this October and it was straight-up magical. We spent the week before the wedding basking on the ocean-front deck enjoying the amazing food and drink offerings from the hotel restaurant. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and the staff incredibly competent and accommodating (there was hot cider in the lobby every day). The day of the wedding could not have gone more smoothly, in large part due the work of our event coordinator, Nicole Armano, who was with us every step of the way. Our wedding day was worry-free and we fully enjoyed every moment knowing that everything was handled. Oh -- and the in-house wedding caterer -- incredible. I got so many compliments on the meal and late night snack offerings (which included mini milkshakes and sliders). Some of my guests even asked if we were OK if they booked the Beauport for their weddings as well! 10/10.
I don’t even know where to begin with this review. The Beauport hosted our wedding this October and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The whole wedding process at the Beauport made planning our wedding SO easy!
We were assigned Shannon as our coordinator and she handled every detail with ease and professionalism. Shannon was prompt with responding to email and made all of our visions a reality. Shannon truly took away all the stress of wedding planning. They set up all our decor, communicated with our vendors and handled cleaning everything back up. Every wish we had, Shannon was able to fulfill.
The Beauport Hotel hospitality was off the charts. They handled our hotel block (plus a bunch) with ease. They were clean, organized, and the food was AMAZING. I have literally nothing bad to say about The Beauport Hotel as a wedding venue. They made our special day absolutely perfect and easy. I wish we could do it all again! Highly, highly recommend to anybody wanting a coastal wedding.
We were so thrilled with our wedding!!! Everything went perfectly. Nichole was our wedding planner and she was fantastic. She was very professional, respondent during the planning process, organized, and, because of her, the day was flawless. Our guests were blown away and the food was delicious! While we didn’t get married at the Beauport Hotel (we got married at their sister venue Cruiseport), our room blocks and other events for my wedding were held at here and I couldn’t be happier. What a great place to wake up the morning after your wedding.
The hotel is stunning, the food was delicious and the entire staff was very sweet and attentive. We were instantly greeted and congratulated on our wedding every time we entered a different area of the hotel. Shelby, from the front desk, is one of the sweetest, most pleasant people.
Went to the pool the morning after the wedding with a lot of our guests and it was the (second) best day ever! The pool staff constantly made sure we had everything and anything we needed. Frozen drinks are 😘👌🏻 *chef’s kiss.*

We got married at the Beauport on 6.2.22. The food is EXCELLENT and the view is perfect. We had Danielle who was our coordinator and she was the BEST! She was communicative leading up to the wedding with any questions we had and ensured the day went smoothly with no issues! I cannot say enough about this venue and the staff!
We can’t say enough good things about our wedding experience at Beauport. From the very first day when we toured the venue the staff was kind, attentive, and just absolute pros at what they do. The planning process was actually fun and low-stress thanks to our amazing day-of coordinator, Nichole. Our guests loved the ambiance and service of the hotel, and the spacious lobby, bar, and outdoor areas where everyone could sit, drink, socialize, and enjoy the coastal New England vibes.
On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly and was exactly as we envisioned. The ceremony on the deck facing the water was just so beautiful and will forever be one of our favorite memories. Nichole had helped us set a timeline that perfectly spaced out our formalities, and kept us on track during the reception. She also made sure we ate! Lastly, the entire wait and bar staff was incredibly friendly and professional.
Overall, the ambiance and service at the Beauport can’t be beat. We had the day of our dreams and plan to visit our “happy place” many more times in the future.
Where to begin Beauport was without a doubt beyond my expectations for a wedding venue from the moment we walked in until the moment we left there was not one stone left unturned the staff the hotel itself the food and everything that made the wedding was completely spectacular you could not ask for more I would give this 10 stars if I could The ceremony held on the deck overlooking the beautiful ocean was breathtaking the staff really really went out of their way to make everything amazing The cocktail hour we had the sea food boat and the cheese table which I would highly highly suggest it made such a splash everyone loved it!The food for wedding food which is usually mediocre was five star everyone is still raving we had 170 guests and not one complaint. The drinks were flowing the food was magnificent the staff was attentive to every need I’d like to especially think Kendra my daughter’s wedding consultant who went above and beyond I would really really suggest having a wedding at the Beauport on any month you will not be disappointed five star all the way!!!!
We got married here on 9/11/2021 and we cannot say enough about the Beauport hotel. Our experience was incredible from start to finish. Our night was perfect beyond measure. Things that could have been stressful were made fun, worries (of any kind at any point in this process) were eliminated with an email to our coordinator Kendra. Ask for her by name, book with her, have FUN and let her do her job. She was the glue that held this together, the sanity in a sometimes crazy stressful environment - managing not only vendors and details like where and when our decor would go but also being aware of family dynamics and ensuring that every little thing went flawlessly. We don’t know what they pay her but we can assure you it isn’t enough. Luckily, tips are never expected but always appreciated and we showed ours 😂.
The food at the Beauport is a seafood lovers dream. Raw bar, cheese table (get it everyone eats it even if they say they don’t), passed apps, *fried oyster shooter was amazing*, guest favorite was the shrimp and grits. We did the lobster and steak which was awesome but the cod dinner was really I think my favorite. For vegetarians the artichoke raviolis were SO good.
The staff here was flexible to any and all of our requests and they were quite efficient. We don’t like wedding cake or any of the formalities that go along with a cake so we passed out snickers ice cream bars. The waiters came back around with plates of them and everyone continued dancing and having their Snickers ice cream. It was amazing.
The Beauport hotel itself is an amazing environment. Every little detail of the place has that New England coastal charm - dock cleats for the dresser drawer handles, seashells for door knockers. It’s beautiful and to have an out of town wedding like ours, our guests LOVED the location, felt the hotel was truly luxurious and are even planning to go back!!
We look forward to our honeymoon but are already planning our trip back to enjoy this space once again in the fall.

Where to start. My now husband and I got engaged back in 2018 and the moment we walked into the Beauport we knew we had to get married there. The hotel and the views are STUNNING, the staff was so friendly, and the food at the restaurant was incredible. We had viewed a number of other venues in the New England area and were so shocked when we saw the quote, WHAT a great value for what is offered. Fast forward, we had to move our wedding due to Covid. We had heard horror stories of other friends going through similar situations with their venues but the Beauport was an absolute dream to work with. They made the date change process so seamless and stress free, they even automatically rebooked our room block rooms, adjusted the price since we were moving from a Saturday to a Thursday and put us and our needs/wants/emotions first no matter what. I cannot speak more highly of Nichole and the entire Beauport staff. Customer service is without a doubt their top priority. They went so far above and beyond to cater to the constantly changing covid regulations, making last minute changes and adjustments and being beyond flexible for us. Everyone says to expect things to go wrong on the day of but I’m not kidding when I say that the day went off without a hitch, even better than expected and that’s all due to Nichole and her team. She dealt with everything behind the scenes without including us, coordinating and communicating with vendors, dealing with issues, updating plans, bringing us drinks and water, making sure we were happy, I just can’t get over how involved she was and it truly made a difference. From the second we arrived on site all we had to do was relax, she took care of EVERYTHING. Our guests are still raving about their overall experience. And the FOOD. Oh man, everything was so delicious, the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding, and our guests went out of their way to tell us the same. The Beauport is such a hidden gem on the Gloucester coast and we cannot wait to return year after year.
Mackenzie Claflin & the rest of the events team at the Beauport are the best of the best. Once you book here (DO IT!). they take care of everything for you and help put you at ease during the wedding planning process. The event service was top of the line, and all of our guests went out of their way to tell us how much they loved the food and drinks. It's hard to get everything right - views, food, service, etc, but the Beauport knocks it out of the park in every way. Thank you Beauport for bringing our dream wedding to life - we wouldn't of been able to do it without you!
