As I would tell her the things I wanted to make our wedding special she had the perfect ideas for how to make it all come to life. The day of the wedding she perfectly organized our bridal party so that everyone knew what they were supposed to be doing and when. She truly put everyone at ease. She was there to clean the sand off my dress after beach photos, she got a makeup stain out of a groomsmen’s suit, and she jumped right in to help bustle my dress so I could get right out to cocktail hour. Melissa silently made sure that my husband and I always had everything we needed throughout the day. The next day Melissa had all of our stuff including my veil, wedding dress, cake, and decor perfectly organized and ready for us to take. If anything didn’t go exactly as planned, we truly had no idea because everything ran so smoothly and seamlessly. Beyond that, the food at our wedding was delicious, my husband and I loved it, and our guest are still raving about it. The bar service was quick and efficient. We were also lucky enough to have perfect summer weather, which allowed us to get married outside on the deck overlooking the ocean. The setting was absolutely stunning and made our day feel even more special. We are beyond grateful to the Beauport team for making our wedding day flawless and unforgettable, and we would highly recommend this venue to any couple!

While those factors convinced us to book the venue , the people of the Beauport are what made the day beyond perfect. ). I was planning for this wedding for two years and went back continuously for different things, and the entire staff knew my name, asking how the planning was going and how I was. From the front desk, waiters, valets, event staff, cleaners, and everyone else we encountered, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. One person stands out. This wedding would not have happened without Melissa Nolet. I met her at the food tasting, and she presented herself so warmly and professionally that I knew she was the planner I wanted. Every need and question she answered within a day or two. I wanted a customized meal; she made it happen. I wanted four dances; she organized the reception to prioritize that. I wanted a completely cozy Christmas wedding, and she introduced a pho fireplace and helped us brainstorm how we could bring the decor into the venue space. She calmed my nerves the week of the wedding, responding to concerns (literally 5 paragraphs on a Tuesday night) to ensure I replaced those nerves with excitement. The weekend of the wedding the hotel was buzzing, Christmas music was softly playing, and the most stunning decor was up. We got our welcome bags at check-in with no issues, and thoughtful gifts were placed in our rooms to welcome us, my parents, and his. The day of the wedding, Melissa saw me leaving the venue for the church, and I honestly cried because she was so happy to see ME. When we got back, she was always in my preferal for the entire day. She ensured every picture was taken on my 3-page list; she organized a wedding group of 24 with ease and professionalism. Every question had an answer. There were no hiccups, no stress, and no timing issues. She was considerate of the entire wedding party and provided us with food in the bridal room with all of our things (the appetizers were to die for; I ate so much before the meal). After running across the beach, she was on her hands and knees, carefully wiping seaweed and sand off my dress (we even found a sea urchin lol). When the reception began, she tucked away my veil and shawl safely with our things. I didn't even realize I didn't have those things until I saw them nearly folded in our decor pick-up bin. She ensured I had a drink all evening, guided to where I needed to be, and I kept hugging her and looking at her like "This is the perfect night, how is this so perfect?!" The food was spectacular, and the bar was fast and efficient with drinks. The shortcake bar was fantastic as well. No one was rudely dismissed when it ended. We were slowly guided out to the lobby. Her job was really done. Yet, in the lobby of the Beauport, my uncle asked me for a dance and obliged. She came up behind me and said, "Just keep dancing, lovely, pretend I'm not here," and PINNED my hair back for me before wishing me well for the evening. So yes. Go to the Beauport for the venue and the staff. Hire the planner that cares about YOU and ends the night pinning up your hair, as you dance around the lobby in your sparkly wedding dress. I am forever grateful to this establishment.

Our event manager Melissa was an absolute joy to work with, helping us craft a timeline to match our priorities for the big day, answering all of our questions in (and between) our planning meetings, and making us feel comfortable and taken care of on wedding day with her professionalism, poise, and kindness. She even helped prepare our young ring bearer and flower girls for their walk down the aisle so that their parents and grandparents could focus on their own duties! Melissa and the rest of the event staff were clearly knowledgeable and experienced, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch so that Daniel and I were able to relax and enjoy our big day. The beautiful location and ability to stay at the venue the night before and of the wedding was a huge plus for us and our wedding day VIPs. Everyone who stayed at the Beauport for the wedding mentioned how generous and helpful the hotel staff were during their stay (chocolates and wine for us and our wedding party was a generous touch!) Both the outdoor and indoor spaces at the Beauport are beautiful, and our guests raved about the quality of the food and signature cocktails. We can’t express enough how pleased we were with our venue choice, and we’re excited to dine and stay at the Beauport to celebrate anniversaries or just have a fun weekend away!
