We planned to use our own vases, which they originally approved and even encouraged us to buy more of, only to be hit with a shady surprise email weeks later. They tried to charge us a per-vase. They said it would be $1 per vase or $2 per vase if any stickers or anything were on it and that was never in our proposal. While they eventually waived it after we pushed back, it set a very negative tone. Throughout the process, they frequently forgot what we discussed and flip-flopped on agreements. The most frustrating part was the reception setup. We were told they initially told they set up our flowers for the ceremony and reception, but then a couple weeks before the wedding we were told they wouldn't set up our reception flowers unless we paid an unmentioned changeover fee to move two ceremony pieces. The staff was quite condescending on the phone, repeatedly explaining that workers need to be paid for their time, which we obviously understood, but their logic didn't align with the thousands we were already paying for a full setup and the fact that we were told from the beginning that they would do both. We eventually had to tell them we would move the two pieces ourselves to avoid the extra several hundred dollars in fees, at which point they finally agreed to waive it. While everything worked out in the end, I simply do not trust this company. The lack of transparency and the constant stress were not worth the final product. There are plenty of talented florists in Philly who are much easier to work with!
