I did a trial a few months before the wedding, and I decided to schedule it on the same day as our engagement photoshoot. I was blown away by how amazing my hair and makeup looked — it lasted all day through the photoshoot, and I felt absolutely gorgeous. That was when I knew Mandi was the one for my wedding day! Fast forward to our wedding day — Mandi did my hair and makeup, as well as my maid of honor's, and she absolutely nailed it for both of us! We both felt stunning, and I truly have never felt more beautiful. My hair and makeup were exactly what I wanted: natural, elegant, and flawless. I danced all night long, and somehow, my hair stayed perfect throughout the day and night — and not just that, it stayed flawless for days! To be honest, I didn’t even want to wash my hair after the wedding because it still looked so amazing six days later. It was insane! Mandi is the best of the best, and I’m so grateful I chose her for my wedding day. I will absolutely be reaching out to her and the Beauty Brigade team for any future events where I want to be glammed to perfection. We love Mandi and can’t thank her enough for making me feel like the best version of myself on our wedding day!

I was able to still keep my natural curls and that is SO special to me. On top of feeling SO beautiful on wedding day, Mandi and her team are so communicative and organized. de. Our wedding was 4/21/2023. The biggest issue I had was, they didn’t stay on time. They planned to spend 40 minutes on each person. We should have been finished at 2:35 pm according to their schedule. In reality, we needed to be finished by 3 pm since the wedding started at 4 pm. I figured having an extra half hour would be helpful and give us plenty of time. It wasn’t. Everyone was there and ready to continue as soon as each bridesmaid was finished. I still don’t understand why she took so much extra time. We were not done until 4 pm and the wedding was delayed until after 4:30 pm because of this. My photos were rushed and we didn’t have time to get a number of shots I had wanted. Unfortunately, my venue did not allow you to push anything back when you start late and we lost 45 minutes of our wedding. The entire event ended up being rushed and chaotic. The makeup itself was good overall but we didn’t really get airbrush makeup. We looked nice but I felt everyone looked a bit older from the makeup. The makeup artist put regular foundation on everyone and then used the “airbrush gun” to spray our faces. I’m not sure there was actually anything in it. I’ve had airbrushed makeup in the past and it’s normally very light and feels much better than foundation. There is no need to use foundation. It didn’t make any sense and took a longer amount of time. My sister was my maid of honor and got her makeup done before I did. I loved the way her eye makeup looked. I told the makeup artist that I wanted the same for myself. She didn’t even use the same eyeshadow on me. I left it as is since I was worried about the time we had. I looked good but it wasn’t what I asked for. The online system they have turned out to be complicated and tricky to use. I was required to pay ahead of time for everyone. I decided to use another person for my hair after seeing all the ways they might add money for extra hair or length. It was $120 (for makeup only) a person except the bride was more. We also had to tip. I hope one day that I can look back in my wedding day and not feel upset about it but right now, I’m just disappointed and Beauty Brigade, LLC contributed to that. They also offered free coffee for a review but I felt that I needed to be honest about what happened.

so easy for me to get all of the information without feeling like I was missing something for being far away from my venue while planning. Mandi did my hair & makeup and also did my families hair. She did such an amazing job! She made us all feel so comfortable and matched our vibe the entire wedding day! The entire process was perfect!!

y of my wedding, she made it better than I imagined. Jess transformed my bridesmaids and my mother with hair and makeup. Mandi transformed my MIL, maid of honor, and myself with hair and makeup. When my bridesmaids and mom didn’t know what to do for makeup, they knew exactly what questions to ask and how to guide them and did an incredible job. Both were super kind and professional the entire day and their work is incredible. We all felt so beautiful. Cannot thank them enough and cannot recommend them enough.

rs a lot of make up so I wanted to make sure I wasn't uncomfortable. She was great about checking in after the trial and was quick to offer suggestions based on my comments and concerns. Flash forward to my wedding day, she and Gina did an awesome job for me and my ladies. They were great company and we received multiple compliments all throughout the evening/night regarding our makeup. 10/10 would recommend.

d. The foundation was too light for my complexion, she didn’t color in my brows, and used a black eye liner the wasn’t placed evenly on my upper lids. It was all just caked on. Made me look 20 years older. The fake lashes she used were so long and she didn’t apply any mascara to my bottom lashes. I was so disappointed. I’ve had makeup done many times before and I’ve never felt so let down. She’s very nice and I’m sure she’s done amazing work for others, it just wasn’t for me. I had to quickly wash my face and redo my own makeup before our event.

a job she did. I had a death in the family where I had to cancel my bridal trial and had to switch to a virtual trial. I was hesitant about this version of a trial but Jess immediately put me at ease and brought all of my visions to life on the wedding day. I had 0 stress about what my hair and makeup would turn up like. Also, I go hard on the dance floor and my makeup was still in tact as we did our exit, almost 10 hours after my makeup was completed. I also want to add that I did a boudoir shoot for my husband's wedding gift, and Mandi did my make up and hair for that session and did a PHENOMENAL job. I highly recommend Jess, Mandi, and the rest of the Beauty Brigade team for your hair and makeup on your wedding.

When my wedding day came I was so nervous about the early wake-up call but Mandi was genuinely friendly, sweet, attentive, and highly professional! I couldn't have asked for better service. I had so many concerns about my dark circles, redness, and textured skin and she not only met but exceeded my expectations for the final look, I felt so amazing all day!!!

With the airbrush I felt like I had nothing on, Mandi made that happen. In the end, she made sure I liked the result and wanted feedback on things that I might like to change. She is so easy to communicate with, made sure she fit in 3 people on a tight schedule, and made sure I was happy with everything, which I was. Mandi did my mother and MIL makeup as well, she made them look amazing. Mandi knows what she is doing. I’m so thankful for her and what she does, she made me feel beautiful on my special day!

So happy I did the trial beforehand as it helped her make it perfect on my big day. My Mom was also treated to hair and makeup and looked beautiful.
