We could not have planned our dream wedding without hiring Beckon Events and was the best investment we made! Allie, Julia, and her team are PHENOMENAL in every way. Planning a wedding (especially one out of state), can be challenging and overwhelming, but Allie and her team's unparalleled expertise made the process seamless and stress free for us. All of her vendor recommendations were top quality people that were wonderful to work/plan with, and we couldn’t be more pleased with their services.
Allie cares so deeply about her clients and handled the unimaginable and everything behind-the-scenes with such professionalism and grace. She made our vision come to life and could only be described as something out of a fairytale! Our day was picture perfect and executed exquisitely. We could not be more grateful. Planning a destination wedding can feel overwhelming, but with Allie by our side, it was an absolute dream! From the very first meeting, they took the time to get to know us as a couple and our families. It wasn't just about the venue and flowers – Allie and Julia truly cared about what made our day special.
Allie and Julia’s attention to detail is unmatched. We never had to worry about a single thing being overlooked. What truly impressed us was the ability to find the perfect vendors who not only fit our vision, but also worked seamlessly together. We would like to give a special thanks to our photographer Sarah Bradshaw, who took the most amazing pictures, capturing beautiful moments while being non-invasive, as well as Matt and Meredith Films. We would also like to shout out our amazing band, Steel Toe Stilettos, who really set the tone for the evening. Hiring Beckon Events was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process! Allie and her team were VITAL to the planning and execution of our day. We spent nearly 18 months with Beckon Events planning our October 2023 wedding. Allie traveled with us to (many) venue tours and guided us along the way with such professionalism. We ultimately decided on a beautiful venue that did present challenges both in planning and on the wedding day. My husband and I were clueless to any wedding weekend problems because they were handled by the team immediately. Beckon Events thought of EVERYTHING and handled any challenge with such grace. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness that went into planning made us feel so special during this season of life. Allie's extensive knowledge of vendors, layout and design made the planning process so easy and fun for us. Her ability to take our style and translate that to the design left us stunned on the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. We could have never planned anything as beautiful or as well thought out without Beckon Events. We would recommend them to anyone looking to have a professional and intentional planning and design team!
If you do one thing in the process of planning a wedding, hire Allie and Julia from Beckon events. We are so fortunate to have had Allie along our side. She has attention to detail, creativity, and a genuine passion for what she does. Our vision was completely out of the box from what a traditional black tie wedding looks like and she worked to bring our event at the Ritz Carlton on Lake Oconee to life. She handled everything from our overall design, vendor management, and even family dynamics. Things do not go perfect with wedding planning and anytime there was an issue with vendors etc the team always had proposed alternatives ready to go.
When it came down to the day off, the team seamlessly coordinated with vendors, ensuring that everything ran like clockwork. We were blown away with the transformation of the event, and if things went wrong I can say one thing, we had no idea. We received countless compliments with how organized our wedding day flowed and our guests could tell we hired an amazing team to handle the day off.
We hired Beckon Events as our wedding planning team for our April 22, 2023 wedding. Allie and her team are an absolute dream to work with. She was beyond helpful in finding our vendors for our special day and always provided honest, thoughtful, and instructive advice as we made our decisions. Allie and Julia at Beckon Events were hands down the best investment we made in our daughter's entire dream wedding! I didn't realize early in the planning process how much we would come to appreciate their value. With Allie's leadership, expertise and organization my daughter and I were able to thoroughly enjoy her entire bridal season from the start. What a gift?! She recognizes the importance of this time in a bride's life and makes it her mission to know you, make it one of joy and excitement, take the pressure off and bring your dream to fruition.
For example, Allie and Julia figured a way to bring a personal cake tasting to my daughter, her fiancé, my husband and me when we couldn't nail down a time to visit our destination venue and still fit everything else in. Fun, Fun!!!
However, the crowning moment was definitely on wedding day. No words can describe how far beyond Beckon Events exceeded our expectations. Allie's profession is her passion. She excels at her job. Hiring Beckon Events should be the very first thing you do at this very special time in your life.
Allie and the team at Beckon Events do an impeccable job of every little detail and planning. Our wedding was impacted by Covid-19, Allie and her team were easy to work with, flexible, and empathetic in helping us navigate the many unknowns of wedding planning. A week before our already postponed wedding, our band contracted Covid and could not attend. Allie quickly jumped to solutions to help support and connect us to agents, where we were able to land a new band 2 days before our party. We HIGHLY recommend Beckon Events to put your mind at ease, to have someone you trust and to know you are not in this journey alone!
I never knew the entirety of the details that go into planning a wedding until my first daughter got married four years ago. At that time, Allie helped us plan the special day, but I was able to handle many of the details myself. When my second daughter was engaged last summer, Allie was the first person I called before making any plans. Her service was invaluable to us the first time around, and I knew I didn’t want to do this without her help. This time around, we were navigating three significant family events and a move across the state! I was going to need more help! We hired Allie to pretty much take care of everything from beginning to end. No detail was left unattended, and having someone to help navigate vendor contracts and unexpected hiccups along the way gave us the peace we needed to enjoy our year of milestones without worrying about dropping any balls in regards to the wedding. From caterer to band to transportation and everything in between, her knowledge and experience with vendors helped us to not waste time as we made our choices. We gave Allie the difficult task of delivering an August wedding with a spring feeling, and we were not disappointed. With the help of our florist and carefully selected table dressings and wall draping, Allie transformed what I considered to be an awkward warehouse looking venue space into a beautiful spring garden complete with a garden swing! It was breathtaking! I had different ideas about how to use the space, and she made it work, realizing my vision to move the usual placement of the dance space and dining tables. My guests were also blown away, and my daughter was so pleased with every aspect of the day. Allie’s assistants were very professional and helpful, helping us to keep track of even small things like my sunglasses on the day of the wedding, as they would not fit into my purse. At the end of the event, everything I brought to the space was waiting for me in carefully packed bags, making our exit easy. If full service is what you are seeking, Beckon Events will deliver!
Beckon Events exceeded our expectations on every single front. Allie Barham and her excellent team are quintessential professionals. We had very high standards for quality regarding event details, and Beckon shared this philosophical approach in planning my daughter’s wedding. Their resources and vendor relationships are superior. Their ability to vet vendors on our behalf saved us a tremendous amount of time. Beckon’s knowledge regarding contracts, commitments and options are extremely worthwhile. Budget management remained an integral part of the process, and Allie’s scrutiny and understanding of value kept us on track. Beckon’s client relationship skills are impeccable and Allie and her team worked flawlessly with me as the mother-of-the-bride, as well as with my daughter and son-in-law. She was respectful and kind, and I appreciated her sensitivity to the unique elements of our family’s composition. Allie and the Beckon Events Team made wedding planning as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Allie planned our entire Oregon wedding from across the country in South Carolina and we were blown away with her talent. She thought about every detail of the day, helped us interview and select our team of vendors, and also provided onsite coordination for the day of our wedding. Our bridal party was impressed with Allie's attention to detail, and said that it was the most thorough rehearsal they had ever been a part of. Our bridal party and wedding guests commented on how perfect the wedding was, which is the ultimate compliment. I discovered Beckon Events via Instagram and knew that I needed them for my day! Little did I know that the beautiful Instagram page had the most amazing team that would bring my dream wedding to reality! I dreamed of a Wedding Weekend on Lake Keowee that was a 4 day event for my family & friends. As a (originally) 2020 bride, Allie & Kayla were able to smoothly help transition as we postponed this multiple day event to 2021 and switched wedding venues. They not only helped with the transition logistically, but helped us navigate the new look and feel of our weekend while helping with all the emotional breakdowns. This new wedding venue was not what I had imagined for the ceremony and a step down from the original location. As we are standing in the parking lot (that has a great view of Lake Keowee) Allie says she can build a beautiful stage for the ceremony. Beckon Events created magic out of nothing! The limit does not exist for what Beckon Events can do! The day was a dream. Outside of their design capabilities, Beckon Events put together an amazing vendor list. Each vendor fit perfectly for our events and blew our expectations away!

I started working with Beckon Events in spring 2019 and had a great time planning our wedding for April 25th, 2020. However, by the end of March 2020, it was clear that our original plan--a 200 person black tie soiree at the SC Botanical Gardens in Clemson, SC-- was not going to happen. Beckon handled the situation so smoothly and gracefully considering the immense amount of anxiety we were all experiencing about the unknown. They helped us swiftly move our date and deposits to the following spring, securing most of the same vendors as well as a few new ones.
My fiance and I still got married on our original wedding date with 8 other people at my parents’ Seneca, SC home, which was a lovely event for which we were very grateful. However, it was important to both of us to have the customary family celebration we had planned, so we would just have to be patient until it was possible to do. It was worth every minute of the two year wait!
While Beckon had pretty much perfected the plan for the party at the Botanical Gardens in Clemson, it became apparent around March of 2021 that the Gardens would not be reopening for events in time for ours. Once again, Beckon handled this situation with such gentleness and grace, it didn’t even feel that stressful. We decided to re-plan the party where my husband and I got married in 2020: my parents’ backyard and the adjoining lot that I had purchased to build on later.
Beckon’s design and the world-class vendors they work with created an environment that looked like it came directly out of my dreamscape. They captured our style and personality with the excellently chosen decor. It was comfortable and inviting while also being exciting and mystifying. It was truly an EXPERIENCE, which is why the value of a service like Beckon Events cannot be overstated. They not only designed and created the event that we had articulated but also moved me, my husband, and all of our loved ones through that experience with grace and ease, so that we could all focus on the special moments rather than the logistics that make such an event possible. The quality and professionalism of the vendors they work with are top notch, and they are all true masters of their respective crafts.
Beckon and their vendors transformed empty spaces into magical places that had everyone present absolutely enchanted. I’ve never seen a dance floor fill up faster than it did after our first dances, as everyone shuffled over to swoon to I Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis. No one could help falling in love with the charm and beauty of this event!
I cannot say enough about how professional, brilliant, kind, creative, and frankly, badass the women of Beckon are. I have heard nothing but wonderful feedback on the party itself and all vendors present--many telling me it was the most beautiful or best party to which they had ever been. Several also told me it was “so YOU!” Goal achieved!

I don’t think I can put into words how absolutely fabulous working with Beckon is. Planning a wedding at any time is a challenge but add in the current pandemic and it is not for the faint of heart. But Beckon worked tirelessly to be sure that bathe time spent planning and the day of were full of nothing but joy and happiness . Allie and Kayla helped bring my wedding dreams to a reality and were able to bring to life the most magical day I could have imagined. The team is professional, organized, creative, detail oriented, and all around perfect at what they do. They will help you incorporate details you hadn’t even been able to put words to but they will help the vision became a reality. My husband and I could not have been happier with the way our day turned out and the team at Beckon was a major part of that. I would hire them one hundred times over and recommend them to anyone and everyone planning a wedding , you will not be disappointed.
Where do I even begin? The team at Beckon Events is top notch. They do not miss one single solitary detail that will help make your wedding day look exactly as you dreamed, actually better than you dreamed. I cannot imagine navigating a wedding during a pandemic (or anytime) without Allie and Kayla leading the way. They are creative, kind, optimistic, friendly, professional, and always go the extra mile to be sure the bride is happy, calm, and able to enjoy her special day. This was my second wedding with Beckon and I'm a little bit sad I don't have more daughters to plan for. We can not even begin to express our satisfaction with the Beckon Events Team. We had the unfortunate circumstance of having to postpone our wedding due to COVID19 1 month before the event. The Beckon Team did everything in their power to help us reschedule and essentially re-plan our entire wedding to come out even better than the first go around! I have a busy work schedule and can not imagine how I could have done this without Allie and Kayla. Their full service wedding planning is truly full service. They walked us through every small detail, helped me prioritize what was most important to me, helped me make each decision, recommended the best vendors, sent me reminder emails, and executed the entire event flawlessly. Allie brings vast experience from the industry that is invaluable for the design and planning process. Kayla is so organized and remembered every little idea and detail I ever mentioned. Every vendor we worked with had nothing but praise for the Beckon Team and expressed how much they love to work on their events. We cannot speak highly enough of Beckon Events! I can't imagine what 2020 has been like for them, but they never waivered in their professionalism and guidance as we had to postpone our wedding from spring to winter.
They were a breeze to work with from the beginning, and always put up with my being very "direct" with regards to my vision for the event... : ) As an amateur planner myself, they anticipated things I hadn't even thought of.
FINALLY getting to meet the Beckon team on the day-of was very exciting and they kept things running smoothly with no issues. Words cannot describe what a blessing Beckon Events was to myself, my husband, and my parents. We hired them before COVID hit, having no idea what lied ahead. Our 150 person wedding quickly became 25, and Beckon Events was there every step of the way. They helped us plan the most magical wedding that we could have ever dreamed of, even in the midst of a pandemic. Allie and Kayla were wonderful to work with - sweet, responsive, professional and creative. They truly made our vision come to life. They made what should have been a very stressful wedding completely stress-free! We couldn't have done it without these lovely ladies.

What a year to have a wedding! We had no idea what obstacles we would be facing when we started planning our wedding with Beckon. We knew it would be challenging because we were planning it from a distance (NYC.) Allie, Anna, and Kayla not only helped us develop our vision for the day but once Covid hit, they were fully committed to the health and safety of our guests and vendors. My number one concern shifted from the details of the day to the safety of our guests and vendors. They eased my anxiety by reworking the layout so that everyone was socially distanced, sourcing and picking up masks and hand sanitizer, and designing beautiful signage that instructed guests to follow the safety guidelines. They did this all without sacrificing any of the beauty of the day! The day was so special, and everyone had an incredible time. We socially distanced without feeling isolated!
They also swooped in to help when my rehearsal dinner venue cancelled last minute. They managed all of the rentals so that I could have a very meaningful and beautiful rehearsal dinner in my childhood backyard. Both days held an unforgettable magic that we will never forget!
And a special thanks to Anna for steaming my dress onsite (It wrinkled so easily, and she made sure it looked perfect!)
Sadly, my husband's family couldn't be there because they were stuck in Brazil. We will be having a second wedding in Brazil at some point- I wonder if Beckon works internationally? ;)
I cannot even put into words how much Beckon Events meant to me, my now husband and my family. Planning a wedding is stressful - throw COVID into the mix and it is a whole new level of stress! Beckon not only helped make everything as stress free as possible, but they handled last minute changes seamlessly. Without knowing, Allie and my mother had come up with a total "plan B" incase our reception wasn't going to work out.
We worked mainly with Allie and Anna and they are fantastic. They completely captured my vision and I am not lying when I say there is not ONE thing I would change about my wedding day. It was beautiful and personal. Anna is so much fun to work with and made herself readily available when I had questions.
My mom and I both agree that a wedding planner is a NO BRAINER. It is 10000000% worth the money. All of the stress and time that they saved us is truly priceless. I am going to miss working with them!!!
Being a project manager myself I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner, and all I can say is WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT without them. They are full of great information and ideas, thorough, passionate, flexible, detailed, fun, creative and worth every Penney! As Mother of the Bride, The entire wedding weekend was stress free enabling us to truly enjoy every aspect. They made the planning process amazing as well, which was quite the challenge during COVID as we had to re-route quite a bit.

The best decision we made in planning a wedding was hiring Beckon Events. I am convinced they saved us more money and a lot more in mental anguish than what we paid them. Their creative ability as well as their ability to keep up with the thousands of details made for a truly magical event. We were free to enjoy our guests while Allie and her crew made sure everything went off without a hitch.
Allie and her crew were amazing to work with! They helped create a wedding that showcased our unique love story. They have original ideas and think out of the box which I loved!! I was engaged in Paris so we incorporated some French themes throughout our day. It was so elegant and tasteful! They also recommended the BEST band. I was nervous at first about them because their marketing video was not the best but they assured us they were fabulous! Yall... that is an understatement. They were soooooo amazing. They had great recommendations for all vendors and handled all the logistics.
The night was amazing! There are so many details on the wedding day that I never thought about and I truly don't know how we could have done it without them!
I was the mother of the flower girls for our sister-in-law’s wedding. I could not have been happier with the personal service and attention my daughters and I received over the wedding weekend. It was so nice not to have to bother the bride with my random questions. Allie is a mom of small kids and knows just how to communicate with them and convince them to do just what the bride wants. The festivities would not have been the same without help from I Do!

Gosh, where to start - My wife and I first saw the Upstate I Do team in action at a good friends wedding a couple years ago. To say the least, we were both very impressed. Fast forward a couple years, and it was our time to start planning our wedding day.
Before reaching out to Upstate I Do we had a few details already planned. We had a date and a location locked in down in Charleston, SC. We met with a few local planners down in Charleston and also met with Upstate I Do because they were local to us in Greenville. Allie and Bri had us pretty quick on day 1. Their curiosity about our wants and their excitement about the chance to make our wedding day our best day ever was extremely evident. You could tell they were passionate about what they do and made us feel extremely comfortable and confident in their service.
We spent the next 12 months working with Allie, Bri, and the Upstate I Do team and it was amazing. Whether is was communication through texts, calls, google hangouts, 3-way FaceTimes, in person meetings, or on-site venue visits, every time we talked with the Upstate I Do crew we became more and more excited of what the actual wedding day would be like. They brought so much knowledge to the entire process. Everything from vendor recommendations to design ideas that would align with our visions of the day. They were so great to work with and made the process of planning such a fun and enjoyable part of the wedding experience.
When it came time for our wedding day, it went flawlessly. It absolutely was the best day ever. Everything came together like clockwork with absolutely no worries or stress put on my wife or me. Seeing the overall vision that the Upstate I Do crew put together, all become a reality, was a moment that we will always remember. Not to mention it is now two months later and we still have people saying how awesome the wedding was! The entire Upstate I Do crew are superstars.
Allie and Bri, simply put, y’all are top notch. We cannot express our gratitude to y’all enough for everything y’all did to make June 1, 2019 the best day of our lives. Y’all were such a huge part in creating the day that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you!

I Do is absolutely incredible. I can't recommend them enough. They guided me through every step of the wedding planning process and created a day even more beautiful than I imagined. The I Do team was on site for my wedding and did a beautiful job. The day went by smoothly with no stress and everything was stunning. Allie and her team are professional, organized, patient, friendly and exactly what I needed!
If you are looking for a kind, supportive, organized, and incredibly talented wedding planner, look no further than Allie and the ladies at Upstate I Do. I got married May 25th in Greenville, SC, but I currently live in Indianapolis. I was very worried that planning a wedding from out of state would be challenging and extremely stressful, but Allie made it a painless process. She was able to arrange a few in person meetings, and then managed to do everything else via FaceTime and email. In addition to planning from a distance, my sister is also engaged, so I was balancing planning my wedding and helping with hers as well. Not only did Allie make me feel like everything was taken care of, but she also helped calm the anxiety of my family members who were balancing planning (and paying for) multiple weddings in one year.
While leading up to the wedding was impressive, it pales in comparison to how impressed I was during the actual wedding weekend. Allie was a machine - she had all of our wedding party and family members in the right place at the right time, which is not easy when you have a 22+ person wedding party and two large families. She mangaged to correct a rental delivery mistake while actively walking me out to our first look, and she did everything with a smile on her face. If she was every stressed or worried, you would never know it. Everything ran smoothly, on time, and stress-free. It was logisitically perfect, which I never thought would be possible!
Last, but certainly not least, Allie and Upstate I Do absolutely crushed the wedding design and color scheme. I am not a girl who grew up dreaming about her wedding, but if I had been, my dreams wouldn't have even come close to the event Allie put together. The vendors she recommended were stellar and I received compliments all weekend on how wonderful everything was. The food, flowers, rental items, band, videographer, cake, bar, venue, etc, were absolutely fantastic, and it was all because of Allie.
Truly, you won't get a better experience than Upstate I Do.
Allie and her associates did a wonderful job in helping us plan my daughter’s recent wedding. They were professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with and were able to manage some unexpected things very well. You would not be able to do that without a good knowledge base regarding wedding planning and good vendor connections. They gave suggestions but never pushed their ideas instead letting the bride make the decisions. The wedding day went very smoothly largely due to their hard work. I would highly recommend their business.
Upstate I Do went above and beyond in every way! Trying to plan a wedding can seem overwhelming (because it is) but Upstate I Do makes the impossible seem easy. We were very happy with how our wedding turned out, and none of it would be possible without them. They are really life savers on anything wedding related. Even we’re there for us in ways we never would have expected; I split the pants of my tuxedo dancing, and they were there to sew them up immediately. They actually saved my wedding day. Best wedding planners ever, hands down!
Wedding planning is stressful, but Allie and Bri were there whenever I needed them-- from planning details to organizing vendors and payments; they even served as mediators between me and family members.
We had a non-traditional wedding with an art-deco vibe. Bri researched and crafted creative, different ideas for our decor and overall layout. She also finessed the smallest of details at every step. The final outcome was more than I could have expected.
The day-of planning was where I really saw Bri in action, and my wedding would have fallen apart if she wasn't directing every single minute, every single detail, every single vendor, and every single family member. Her multi-tasking and attention to detail made my wedding perfect. Watching her in action was amazing. She was also there for me at any moment that I needed her. She helped me communicate with my vendors. She followed the schedule of events down to the second and even bustled my train in a matter of minutes.
I can not say enough about this team. They are worth it. If you're looking to invest in one big thing, I would make it I Do. No matter your budget, they'll make your big day everything you've ever wanted.

I wish I could accurately put into words the value that Allie and Bri brought to my wedding planning process and my actual wedding day. All I really need to say is that my parents (who paid for it) and I (who planned most of it) all agreed that hiring Upstate I Do was hands down the best investment of the entire wedding budget. Throughout my short 5 month engagement, "What would Allie & Bri say?" became the simple way that my mom and I made wedding decisions - we both respected their professional opinions and insight so much that we were able to avoid many of the typical wedding disagreements. Even my fiance, who wasn't as into the "planning" part, enjoyed their honest and transparent style. The magic of Allie and Bri is that they work beautifully as a team for YOU - while one may take a more central role in your day, they are in lockstep behind the scenes to anticipate your needs as well as corral an army of vendors. They are organized and ultra professional, while still being warm and enthusiastic supporters of your particular and unique wedding vision (and will gently guide you if you don't have much vision, like me). Once the planning was over and the big day rolled around, I felt like I could be a guest at my own wedding because I knew they had every last detail handled. My only complaint is that they couldn't actually party with us when it was time to celebrate because they were still working hard - it felt like we'd gained a few new friends/family members!
My wedding was just a few weeks ago, but I couldn’t wait any longer to write a review for Upstate I Do. My job is incredibly time consuming, and given that I live and work in NYC, but wanted to have a wedding in Greenville, SC, I knew I would need help planning.
I got the Malbec package, plus added on the Design Planning, which was the best way for me to go for my day and my needs.
I was completely blown away by these ladies, throughout the entire process. They made everything so easy for me, often going above and beyond what one would typically expect of a wedding planner.
So detail oriented, and didn’t miss a beat. I felt like I had someone holding my hand during the entire process. I was just involved as I wanted to be. They made my vision come to life, but it was so much better than what I had pictured. The venue was STUNNING. They had so many unique ideas and I’m so grateful for their creativity. They have impeccable taste and I fully trust whatever they think made sense.
That was just the wedding planning. The day of was a whole other story. These girls are passionate and it’s evident in their work. Allie was at my venue at 8am till the event started helping to set up. And Bri was by my side literally the entire day, Helping me get into my shoes putting my mail own, she was literally like another bridesmaid. I even got dirt in the back of my dress on the wedding chapel, and of course Bri had exactly the right tools to take care of that. When I saw that there was dirt on my dress, I didn’t even get nervous because I knew that Bri would handle it and that everything was gonna be OK. And trust me, I’m typically not a person who handles those things well.
That’s only captures ‘one’ of the lifesaving moments These girls performed on my wedding day.

The dictionary describes perfection as being as free as possible from all flaws or defects. I would define our day as absolute perfection, and I am convinced that would not have been possible without the magnificent efforts from Bri and the Upstate I Do team. We were blown away.
Throughout the 7 month process of finding these lovely ladies, initial meetings, budget planning and detail meetings, I had a vision in my head as to what the wedding would look like and be. I could not have been more thrilled with the result. Allie and Bri went over and beyond my expectations and our guests were able to enjoy a night of dancing, lounging, food, drinks and celebration. The best part - so did we as the bride and groom. It was very important to me to be able to enjoy our reception - including the food, dancing and our family. I never felt pulled in a million directions, but rather Bri guided me through the evening and I always knew where to be, what to be doing and when it was time to PARTY!!!
Even before the reception, Bri was with the girls as we got ready, hearded the boys up as they got dressed and assisted all of my vendors every step of the way. When a bride says her planner is AMAZING, some may just talk that up to being biased since I had worked with the Upstate I Do team all year. When your bridesmaids, groomsmen, FOB, MOG and others go out of their way to come up to you at the reception and say "She was worth her weight in diamonds today," you know you picked a keeper.
Every step of the way I felt taken care of. I will never be able to fully express my gratitude and affection for Bri and the team for what they did on our special day. I am convinced that I could not have done 1/10 of what they accomplished. I wanted a jaw-dropping, fabulous, glamorous party that still felt like an intimate event. Without hesitation, these ladies made it happen.
They always kept my budget in mind, which as any bride, or Father of the Bride, knows can be a challenge when dealing with a wedding. They kept me updated on deadlines and no matter how many times I would change a small detail, the ladies were more than willing to make it happen.
Bri and Allie always said to me - This is your day. We can make it happen. No problem. And I believed them and they truly meant it. From their stellar suggestions on vendors, details and timelines, Bri, Allie and the Upstate I Do team made what could have been just another wedding into something I will treasure forever! Love you ladies so much! 5 stars is just not enough.

I appreciate a wedding planning team that wants to make an event just for me and my style - listening to my vision (as well as helping me come up with that vision) and bringing it to life! They heard my request for turning a space into a completely different look and they did just that! Walking into the creation that they brought to life for me brought tears to my eyes and I remember thinking "this is everything I hoped it would be!" Bri handled things before I even knew anything needed to be handled. We added design to our package, and my hopes and dreams for both venues were far exceeded. I had so many guests tell me after the wedding that it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to, and that is 100% due to Bri and Upstate I Do. The lovely ladies at Up State I Do surpassed our expectations when it came to planning my daughter's wedding on February 10, 2018. We first met with Allie a short 6 months before our wedding date, and she was so encouraging and helpful, especially given our short time frame. She listened to my daughter's wishes and was able to construct a design pallet that was personal and elegant. The vendors she suggested were also very professional and worked closely within our budget. The only surprises on our wedding day were the surpassed expectations at every turn. The flowers, the venue decor, the hair and make up, the food, the band, the cake, and the service were beyond our imagination. Allie was even able to secure special transportation and a videographer at the last minute. Not even the rain was able to spoil the day, as Allie and our amazing photographers came up with a rain plan that ensured we still had beautiful outdoor pictures before and after the ceremony without spoiling the bride and groom's desire to not see each other before the ceremony. Allie had excellent suggestions born of her experience, yet she took care to make adjustments based on my daughter's wishes. The result was a seamless event that appeared flawless despite a few things I forgot. We received so many compliments from our happy guests, but most importantly, we left with the knowledge that we gave our daughter an incredibly personal and memorable day. Our hearts are full.
Where do I even begin?! I could seriously go on forever about how wonderful Upstate I Do and specifically Bri Sizemore are. Choosing Bri as our wedding day-of coordinator was by FAR the easiest and best decision we made in the whole wedding planning process. She is the most joyful, loving and organized person I could have imagined finding to help on our day. This may sound silly, but she was wearing a black top and long black pants outside in South Carolina in AUGUST, and she was literally running everywhere to make sure every single little detail was perfect and my bridesmaids and I are still talking about it 5 months later. I am typically a procrastinator as you may notice by this review being 5 months late, but you would have never known it by how efficiently Bri helped me plan the wedding. I am one to get fairly easily stressed out, and I came to Bri 2 months before the wedding with no decorations, no florist, no lighting, no chairs... I mean the list could go on, and she never once made me feel like I was behind or needed to stress which is a feat in itself. She recommended the most amazing florist and helped nail down so many details. She went WAY above and beyond the "day of coordinator" title. My husband and I are so, so grateful to have found her, and we would and will continue to recommend her to anyone and everyone!! Even if you don't think you need a coordinator, you need Bri- I promise!!
The whole crew at Upstate I Do was absolutely amazing! They were on the ball with everything and went above and beyond to make my family and I feel taken care of. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Could not have made it through the planning and wedding without them!
Upstate I Do and Bri, particularly, far exceeded my expectations! I could not have asked for a better quality of service - Bri always responded to my emails immediately and remembered every little detail I had mentioned in our meetings. She is an Esty researching master! They were great with the logistics of a very complicated wedding in a remote location that had no water or power. They handled bringing in caterers, a tent, generators, and bus transportation to and from the wedding. They also were conscious of our budget and our vision for what we wanted for our wedding. I could not have asked for a better team - they went above and beyond on every occasion! I don't have the professional photographer pictures in yet - but even those below from iphones are GREAT!
Also, Bri tracked down the EXACT skirts I had seen in a wedding magazine that were custom made by girl in NYC. I couldn't believe it!
I attended a wedding Alexandra and her assistants were hired to coordinate, so this review is from the standpoint of a wedding guest rather then client. My daughters were flower girls in the wedding and invited to attend the reception afterwards. There was suppose to be a private room for kids, so we did not hire a babysitter and brought them to the reception as directed by the bride and mother of bride. When we arrived at the reception, there was no kids room so we brought our daughters into the ballroom to dine at our table. Shortly after, one of the "I Do" wedding coordinators approached the table and asked us to remove the kids in the most condescending and rude tone. Insinuating that we were bad parents for having our kids at the formal event. It is never about what you say, but how you say it. This particular assistant has no business being in a customer service role and shame on "I Do" for not providing a higher level of professionalism for a such a special event. Every guest at a wedding should leave with a positive lasting memory, not belittled and mortified.
What a great experience I had with the ladies from I Do. I did the a-la-carte and day-of planning, along with the rehearsal, and the experience was very good. They thought of everything and asked me questions I didn't even know would be questions. On the day of the wedding, Shelby and Monica were definitely my calm in the storm and they helped everything go according to the timeline and the plan. I strongly recommend them for your wedding day!
Upstate I Do has the most kind and genuine girls! They are very creative and know a lot about weddings. They can help you think out the details of your day. If you need vendor recommendations they are excellent for that! They will even set up vendor meetings and over see set up of the day for you.
When using Upstate I Do be sure to select the package that works best for your desires. If you want them to be in charge of all the meetings, details, etc. get the biggest package and let them do it. Try to schedule things so they can come to meetings with you. I had a couple meetings go wrong because I couldn't make it and the vendor and I didn't have each other's contacts or I thought I could set up my own meeting but Upstate felt they needed to come along last minute (causing me to reschedule).
We had four girls on sight the day of the wedding. They were very accommodating to my needs that day (making me plates of food and making sure I had water). I was disappointed that some of the details that I had picked out and gone over with them multiple times were not executed. The details were not complicated and I could have done them myself but they assured me they would do it, but they did not. Additionally, during the ceremony a handful of people were confused and offended by their direction. The seating was done in an untraditional order, which really upset family members. Be sure to decide what you want for the ceremony ahead of time and communicated it to Upstate.
Allie, the owner, is super responsive and on top of things. Towards the end of our time she came on and helped us power through the last few weeks. She is very professional and accommodating to both her clients and staff. I would highly recommend working with her.
I loved the ladies at Upstate I Do! They were professional energetic throughout the entire process! They worked in a timely manner and were always willing to answer any questions or change anything I wanted to change! I highly recommend them to anyone!
I Do completely surpassed all of my expectations for wedding coordination and planning. We booked the silver package and added on a few meetings/services. We chose to add on a budget meeting, an initial design meeting (to help me come up with a concept and colors for the wedding), and a couple of vendor visits. We planned our entire wedding from out-of-state, and I Do made it come together seamlessly. They were very responsive to all of my questions, and have a great system in place for managing the day-of logistics. They worked with our vendors to put together a day-of schedule, and I loved not having to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding! I was completely overwhelmed when we started the wedding planning process, and I Do was great about guiding me through each step and providing their inputs! I would highly recommend I Do to anyone getting married in the Upstate.
