The staff was beyond incredible, helping us change from ceremony, to cocktail hour, and then to the reception tables with speed and care. The rest of the staff at the Bedford Village Inn was incredible, accommodating all of our requests and maintaining the beautiful grounds, with many unique places for pictures and beautiful and thoughtful decor. We had snow the night before and the day of our wedding and all of the walkways were cleared and salted long before the ceremony started. The bartenders, wait staff, bridal attendants, and hotel staff were beyond professional and attentive. BVI is a well oiled machine that knows how to make a wedding run smoothly but still has the ability to customize your wedding day to be uniquely yours – we would recommend the Bedford Village Inn to anyone looking to get married in New England.

erything was seamless. We were fortunate enough to secure a date during the winter with a lot of perks, and while the discounts were great, this venue would be worth every penny at full cost. The Grand Hotel and the Inn are both beautiful, and some of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. We had our rehearsal dinner on site in the Overlook Room and the food was amazing. The bartenders and servers were so professional and really made the start to our weekend special. We had food delivered to our getting ready rooms the day of to just make everything easier on ourselves and our guests, and to no surprise- the food was great. Olivia was amazing with setting up our decor and really has an eye for the space and made our dream wedding come true. Everything ran so smoothly and we cannot say enough great things about her and our day. Our bridal attendant Maddie made us feel so comfortable, calmed my nerves and was so attentive throughout the night. All of the servers, bartenders, day of staff, hotel staff- everyone was so friendly, and happy to be there. Our guests cannot say enough great things about our day and the venue. We have been to The Tavern for lunch a handful of times now and the food is amazing. 100/10 recommend. We cannot wait to go back. This was the best day of our lives and we have Olivia and BVI to thank.

ried anywhere else, it was the most perfect place for something that felt like a wedding but still had that cozy / intimate feel. Olivia was a godsent, she answered every and all questions I had and made the planning process so easy. Seriously, email after email, anxiety meltdowns, anything she was there for me as if I was the only bride she was working with. I was blown away the day of the wedding how she set everything up in a way I could not even picture, adding in touches that just made it beautiful, and she was truly the calm in the chaos to make the day run smoothly. She stopped my husband helped him with his boutonniere, helped make sure I was okay and reassured me on everything. She also assured our family was taken care of, it's so important our parents and bridal party were taken care of and Olivia and BVI did that. Olivia even helped me make some signs since I was so stressed about this! She is wonder woman, I swear!!! We never felt pushed to go with this venue or to purchase anything, Olivia was actually very forthcoming about pros and cons to different options and what actually fit what we needed/wanted versus what was most expensive. It's evident she cares about the couple, and that is what matters most. She was so helpful throughout and day of she made sure all my vendors knew what they needed to do and helped with anything that came up. She allowed my husband and I to just enjoy the day. We got married in march, I actually preferred to have the ceremony indoors along the beautiful bay windows and it was lovely. We were able to take photos outside because the weather was so nice, taking advantage of the beautiful landscape for day photos and some fun night photos under the bulb lights. The milk room was so nice to be able to return to after the ceremony and eat and drink with our family and friends. The most incredible thing though was that our friends and family stayed right upstairs at the venue and/or right across the way at the grand. Not having to shuttle anyone and having the ability to run upstairs to do a quick change or grab something was important to us and allowed our guests to have a fun and stress-free time. The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, our families felt it was such a fun and classy wedding. We also had our rehearsal dinner onsite at the room above the restaurant. It was perfect, and I had full faith Olivia would be able to coordinate and help my mother in law get all of the details set so it was one less thing I had on my plate! I could not imagine our special day without BVI and Olivia, it really was so perfect all around, I could not have dreamed of a better day and I cannot thank Olivia and the entire staff. We can't wait to visit in the future and think back on it 🙂 thank you for creating memories we will cherish forever, if you are considering BVI you need to do it, you will not regret it!!!

They truly work as a well oiled machine and I would do it all over again with BVI. It poured about an hour before my ceremony, I was devastated when they started setting up furniture for an indoor ceremony. It brings tears to my eyes still thinking about how accommodating they were. They not only set up for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, but then wiped down all 134 chairs and still got us outside for our ceremony!! 🥹 BVI, and Olivia, are the best! My husband and I were telling all the tours next day to just book. They have a space you can get ready in on site, the food is delicious, the grounds are gorgeous, and they know their stuff when it comes to food allergies (coming from a celiac bride!). Do it, you won't regret it!

Anytime I emailed her with a question she’d answer promptly and always with good advice. When we had our final details appointment, I knew I was in good hands. She went through every single thing and made us feel at ease about the big day. Madison REALLY blew me away on wedding weekend, though. I had a very specific vision for the decor for both our wedding and the rehearsal dinner, and she set everything up even better than I would have myself! She is so creative and didn’t miss a single detail! And she was also so kind and we felt like she was truly happy for us and our marriage. Allyson, the group bookings manager, was also so helpful and made the room booking process so easy for us and our guests! Really, the entire staff went above and beyond to take care of us. And we got so many compliments on the venue itself! It rained on our wedding day and I was really sad that we couldn’t have the outdoor ceremony I dreamt about, but having it indoors ended up being beautiful and the staff flipped the room before we even joined cocktail hour! It was also so nice that we were able to have our rehearsal dinner there and have all our guests stay right onsite so we didn’t have to leave all weekend. Our wedding at BVI truly exceeded my expectations and we can’t wait to come back and visit in the future. And one more shout out to Madison - consider yourself lucky if you get to work with her!

cond we toured the venue, we knew it was the one. Our wedding planner, Madison, was super friendly and answered any questions we had throughout the wedding planning process. One thing I especially liked about this venue, was that there was an online wedding planning suite so I could access all FAQ, details, vendor recommendations, and helpful tips while we planned. I knew we were in great hands, but when we did our Final Detail Appointment with Madison one month prior, I was put even more at ease because of how organized and well-thought out everything was. On top of that, we loved the convenience of having everything onsite, especially the inn room suites where we had our bridal party stay - Allyson was super helpful organizing this for us, including sending us updates on all rooming lists at the Grand. Even being able to have our rehearsal dinner onsite was a huge plus. We loved having access to the Wheeler Room and running back to our rooms if we needed to rest quickly or grab something. The onsite restaurant and bars were also a huge plus. It was nice not having to leave the venue once all weekend, or worrying about people traveling. Day of, Madison did a tremendous job setting up all our decor, and even coordinated with the photographer so we could do a first touch. Not only is the venue incredibly beautiful, but the entire staff exemplifies true hospitality. All night, we felt like royalty because our attendants made sure we had enough apps and drinks throughout the night. They were incredible and super helpful because otherwise we probably wouldn't have been able to enjoy these items since we were running around saying hi to all our guests. Not to mention the food. OMG so good. I have a friend that specifically told me they are a "wedding food snob", and another that is a chef, and they both couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. It's been a week and I'm still on cloud 9 from the wedding day and I can't thank Madison and the staff enough. One of the best parts is that when we saw Madison after the wedding, we could tell she truly was so happy for us and eager to hear how the whole night went. Eve dinner, so when it came to choosing a venue for our wedding, the BVI was already high on our list. That feeling was elevated from the get-go when we met with Madison for the first time for a tour. We both left after this meeting knowing that this was our top choice and after the whole process, we would get married here again and again! Madison was on top of things every time we talked to her, answering all of our questions, no matter how silly or small. One perk we took advantage of was the Styled by BVI option, which was wonderful! Melissa was so easy to work with, and the decor was truly a dream! The day of the wedding was perfection! Madison was amazing, making sure everything went exactly as we wished. It could not have been smoother! And everyone on the staff was incredible! Allyson was amazing handling all our hotel questions and concerns quickly and with care, and the rooms are incredible! Nikol was stellar! She made sure my husband and I had everything we needed-food, a drink, a dress fix…you name it, she was there! And Gillian was wonderful for making sure that everything was squared away, and we didn’t have to think about a thing with the end of the night process! I apologize for the lengthy review, but I could not say enough good things about this place! We knew we would have a great experience here and that we were in good hands from the beginning, but truly, they exceeded our expectations in every way!! The entire day went perfectly, if there was anything that went wrong I didn't know about it because they work so seamlessly as a staff. During the day itself there is always a staff member around for you to help you with anything you need. You get a personal server with you right after the ceremony to get you and your wedding party any appetizers and drinks you need. They check on you throughout the night as well to continue getting what you need. The venue itself is beautiful. I wish I could properly put into words how wonderful the experience was. I highly encourage you to take a tour and consult, you won't regret it!

NH. We booked them the next day. The communication with their wedding coordinator, Madison was phenomenal. Her response time was always top notch, and made our planning go smoothly (we didn't even need a personal wedding planner). During the final detail appointment, she went through every detail that we didn't even think about. The team provided a personal attendant for the Bride, Groom & our families to make sure that we're well taken care of during the wedding; made for a stress free wedding day. We purchased a few of the rentals from their Styled by BVI and the team was able to incorporate them into our wedding perfectly. Our ceremony was in the small garden next to The Grand at BVI and it was beautifully well maintained. Our reception was in The Grand Charolais Room and it was a perfect size for our 30 guest wedding which included a DJ and photobooth stations. If your DJ/vendor can provide it, we highly recommend doing uplighting, which helps make the room look like a fairy tale. The bridal suite was very spacious, making it easy for the entire bridal party to get ready with hair and makeup. Our guests still rave about their food and have since come back to their restaurants to relive the experience. We are so glad we chose The Grand at BVI for our wedding venue.

VI we knew that we wanted to host our wedding there. Madison was so communicative and attentive throughout the wedding planning process, and both our rehearsal dinner and wedding went flawlessly. Our event manager Brittany and bridal attendant Gillian ensured that the event ran smoothly and that us and our families were well taken care of all night. The entire property is so beautiful, and the reception space is stunning. We utilized rentals from Styled by BVI which really helped when planning a wedding from afar. We’re still getting compliments on the food and our signature cocktails. We wish we could relive our wedding day and can’t wait to celebrate our anniversary at The Grand next year!

While there is an elevator available, navigating the venue (Inn/Great Hall) was a bit tricky for our guests who used canes or walkers. The sidewalks have charming but uneven surfaces, which unfortunately led to a few falls. Just something to keep in mind for those who may need extra assistance. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, and Bedford Village Inn played a huge role in making that happen. Highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, elegant, and well-organized wedding!
