I worked with Dana as my day-of coordinator for my wedding in June. She was absolutely fantastic to work with! She was very helpful with all the questions I had, and really went above and beyond to help make my wedding day run smoothly. We had some rain near the end of the evening, and she ran outside and got soaked bringing all of our outdoor accessories inside, which I did not expect her to do. She also was able to work within my budget to provide coordination services, of which I am eternally grateful. I would highly recommend using Dana and/or Bee the Buzz Events for your wedding planning needs! I couldn't be more happy with the work that Dana and her assistant did to help make our wedding day the best it could be!
My husband and I were very impressed with Bee the Buzz Event planning. We worked with Dana as part of the Day of Coordinator package, she was very organized and instrumental in helping our wedding day be a beautiful,stress-free occasion for us and all our guests. We had a few meetings prior to the day and she was always available by email to answer our questions and to ask us about things we hadn't even thought of. Highly recommended!
Bea was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding planner. She provided many excellent ideas while thoughtfully listening to our description of our vision. She identified and effectively coordinated with the ideal vendors to pull off our wedding. And perhaps most importantly, she was always warm, patient and very responsive. Everything about the process went smoothly because of Bea. The wedding itself was perfect thanks to the knowledge, vision and hard work of Bea and her team. Thank you all so much!
Bea was an absolute pleasure to work with and was consistently responsive, helpful, and upbeat. We hired her for the "pulling it all together" package. We did not have a huge budget, and she helped us stay under that budget. We were planning from afar (the east coast) and Bea made sure we made the most of our few planning trips back to the Twin Cities. She lined up appointments with hand-picked vendors, which saved us countless hours of internet research and phone calls. Because of her planning help we were able to put together a celebration that reflected us as a couple. On the big day, my husband and I (and our families) had no stuff to move around or logistics to worry about. Instead we could focus on celebrating and making memories with our guests that we will treasure forever.
I was hesitant at first to hire a wedding coordinator because I figured my bridesmaids and I could handle it all but I am so glad we decided to go with a day of coordinator. We worked with Dana and I knew right away from our initial meetings that she would be great to work with. She is organized, detail oriented responsive to questions, and so helpful. We didn't have to worry about anything during the day of our wedding and hiring Bee the Buzz Event was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process.
Our wedding could not have happened without Bea! My husband and I both live out of town and saved all our wedding planning for the month before the event. At this point, we asked Bea for her help, and she brought in her incredible organization skills to shift us all into gear. Our wedding was a four-day event, with over 400 guests, and Bea coordinated everything, being an amazing point of contact for our vendors and guests, directing our bridal procession, taking care of everything from horse carriage permits to distribution of groomsmen/bridesmaid clothing, last-minute decorating, and so much more! She was such a wonderful, calming presence to have during our wedding and largely because of her, everything went smoothly, and my husband and I had the most magical time. I am sure that if Bea had not coordinated our event, we would have not had nearly as great of an experience and it is likely, our wedding may have descended into complete chaos. Thank you Bea!!
We hired Dana as our day-of coordinator and it was the best decision (other than marrying each other) that we made in the entire process! I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dana! I was really stressed about the wedding day and was worried about getting a million little tasks done on the day of. I had never heard about hiring a day-of coordinator and thought I would have to hire a wedding planner. By the time we realized we wouldn't enjoy the wedding day if we were running around trying to take care of finishing everything, I had already planned most of the wedding and didn't need full planner services. I was also a DIY bride and was creating a lot of my decor and working with smaller vendors and venues. After stressing for several weeks about the wedding day, that's when I discovered Bee the Buzz and the option of hiring someone just for the day of the wedding. From the first time I spoke to Dana she made me feel at ease. She was professional, organized, and she really cared about making our wedding day great! She went above and beyond our expectations! All throughout the planning process, she asked great questions and helped me to organize parts of the day that I hadn't even thought of. She decorated our venue and it looked amazing! She coordinated with all of our vendors and made sure the ceremony and reception went smoothly. She was even able to address a few last minute issues that arose the morning of the wedding. She was so knowledgeable about our venues and vendors that it really blew me away. Even though our wedding was small and intimate, Dana gave it her utmost attention and we never once felt like our wedding was less important because it was small. My husband and I had a completely stress-free wedding day and we owe that to Dana for taking care of everything and allowing us to focus on each other and our friends and family. To all of the other brides trying to DIY everything: hire a day-of coordinator! It's honestly the best advice I can give to any bride-to-be! And if I may go a bit further, hire Dana because she simply is the best and will make your wedding day fantastic!
Nathan and I are originally from Minnesota and knew that we would definitely want to get married back home. Therefore, planning a wedding from Florida was a looming task. After doing our research, Bee The Buzz Event, was the perfect match for us. What stuck out was first, she had great reviews already for out of state couples planning a wedding in MN; and second, she makes it regular practice to donate flowers used in the ceremony and/or reception to local assisted living facilities. That may be a small touch, but to me, it was the defining selling point as the thought of making others smile after the festivities quiet down is such a wonderful thought! Moreover, she was so easy to work with and her ideas and creativity in bringing my overall wedding vision to light were excellent. We received so many compliments on the decor and really just everything! I definitely recommend Bea and her team!

When Matt and I got engaged last January, we knew we wanted a beautiful and fun wedding that our family and friends would enjoy - and we wanted it soon! So, we started looking for venues and vendors right away but quickly realized that this was uncharted territory for us, despite being mature professionals. So, with less than six months to go and many worries and questions, we met with Bea. She was so polite, calm and professional, she put us right at ease. She quickly laid out the priorities for us, asked about our ideal wedding scenario and frankly discussed costs and budget. From that day, up until the wedding (and after) Bea was there to help and suggest everything from the artistic to the pratical, while allowing us to make our decisions. She personally helped me to stay sane through the all the planning, and I felt every little question, email or call I had for her was important to her as well. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! Nothing went wrong. So many of my guests complimented me on Bea and her ability to keep everything moving while being kind, fun and totally professional. Weddings are wonderful, and can be expensive, but I know Bea saved us so much money and countless headaches. It was worth every penny. Matt and I had a dream day we will never forget, and we owe that in large part to the awesome Bea!
Bea was wonderful and I highly suggest her! I was only looking specifically for a day-of wedding person because my wedding was quickly approaching and she was exactly what we needed. If I did it over again and had more time to plan, I would probably have had her help with the rest of the planning. She was so helpful and very organized. She is also just a very nice person. She made my wedding day at
Winehaven Winery stress free for myself, my husband, my family and the wedding party. I didn’t have to worry about any of the small details and could enjoy the day because it goes by so fast! She also had a lot of helpful ideas for small things that get missed if you don't plan a lot of weddings.
I gave her my vision of what I wanted and she executed it. There are numerous things she did for us. She ran my wedding ceremony rehearsal multiple times to make sure everyone was on the same page. She worked with the numerous vendors we had to make sure everything made it there and was on time. If anyone had any questions, they could ask her and she knew what was happening with everything. Hiring Bea was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding and I would do it over again!
I worked with Bea and her team last weekend at Winehaven Winery. They were organized, friendly, relaxed, and personable! As the caterer (Mintahoe Catering and Events), they helped make our job a little easier and the night flow smoothly! I would highly recommend their services!
Bea helped me create and execute the vision I had for my wedding day. She worked to get to know us as a couple and came up with special and unique ideas for the wedding. The day of the wedding Bea arrived early to ensure all the vendors arrived and that everything was set up as we had planned. Throughout the process Bea provided advice and was easy to work with.
My now-husband and I hired Bea as a day-of coordinator and are so glad we did!! She was so incredibly helpful and easy to work with. It was such a relief not having to worry about anything once the actual day came along. Bea and Dana set up everything at our reception venue beautifully. It was so awesome handing everything off to them and being surprised when seeing the final result! Our day was completely stress free from start to finish thanks to Bee the Buzz!!
Bea and Dana of Bee the Buzz were absolutely amazing as our day of coordination team! So organized and efficient! Even with some last minute weather concerns, our outdoor wedding and reception went off without a hitch. I don't think guests noticed them at all, but everyone in the wedding party was absolutely floored by how much and how quickly everything got done with their help. Busy little bees, indeed! To be honest, I was hesitant to spend the money at first, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Knowing they had everything under control allowed me to let go and just enjoy the day. It was beautiful!
As the bride's mother, I can definitely say that hiring Bea as our day-of-the-event coordinator was one of the best wedding-related decisions we made! Our daughter's wedding was held in three separate venues: the ceremony was at our church, followed by a reception at the American Swedish Institute with cocktails and hardanger fiddlers in the Turnblad mansion and dinner and dancing in the Nelson Cultural center. I was worried about coordinating everything, but thanks to Bea, the wedding and reception were perfect.
Bea's a joy to deal with--professional, responsive, and--perhaps most important--calm even when dealing with a stressed-out bride and her even more stressed mother. Her advice as to how to best handle several aspects of the reception was invaluable. The day of the wedding, Bea and her assistant Dana made sure all our vendors showed up and did what they were supposed to, dealt with all problems before and during the reception, and did everything else necessary to guarantee that everything ran smoothly. Bea even delivered a van load of gifts and other items to our house after the wedding reception had ended!
Thanks to Bee the Buzz, my daughter was thrilled with a wedding day even better than she'd envisioned--and all I had to worry about that day was not tripping while being escorted down the aisle!
I hired Bea when I was about a month away from the wedding. I'd coordinated all the vendors and made most of the plans but was feeling uneasy about how we were going to make sure everything ran smoothly the day-of and started worrying that I would be too stressed to enjoy the day... And then I found Bea. We met and I gave her all the plans I'd made and she worked on contacting all the vendors that I'd booked and organized a Wedding-weekend timeline. She came to the rehearsal and did a great job of making everyone feel comfortable with the ceremony plans. It rained so we had to go with plan b. and get married in our barn- Bea handled everything and I got to enjoy the best day of my life, stress-free! Bea was so friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend Bea to anyone getting married!
My partner and I felt pretty clueless on where to even begin planning a wedding, but when we met Bea, all of that stress and worry melted away. She really helped put all of our disparate ideas and wants together in a cohesive and fantastic way. She really took the time to understand our requests and the vibe we were trying to go for but couldn't execute on our own. We're moving abroad soon, but if we ever had the chance to hire her and her staff again, we would in a heartbeat.
Bea was great to work with. Our wedding day was absolutely wonderful and I owe a good portion of that to Bea! She was very organized and professional, and kept us on track for all of the planning milestones. She also worked with all of our vendors and helped pull together the theme and feel of the wedding. Her team handled everything the day of, from set up to cleaning up and delivering gifts to our hotel room. Everyone commented on how beautiful the wedding was and how smoothly everything went. I honestly wouldn’t have known where to start planning a wedding without Bea’s help and am so grateful she helped craft our perfect wedding day!
