Beefalo Bob's Catering

We were blown away with Beefalo Bob's service! We initially chose them because we love BBQ, they were in budget, and had good reviews. This all held true and truly we couldn't have picked a better caterer. Erica helped us throughout the process and was super responsive and helpful. We then worked with Shannon for our walkthrough (she really eased our wedding jitters, coming with questions we didn't even think of!) and the day of the wedding. She and her team made sure the wedding went beautifully and that there was plenty of delicious food. They also managed our furniture delivery, linens, labor, service, and bartending (truly the whole package)! Two weeks later we are still getting messages about how much people loved dinner! Can't recommend Beefalo enough, we are so grateful that they were a part of our wedding weekend!

I used Beefalo Bob's and was absolutely blown away by their service and care. My venue was out of the way and rural but they took everything in stride. Heather was especially helpful to make sure service from the cocktail hour to dinner and drinks went as smoothly as possible. It was effortless to work with them and they left the venue as they found it! Highly recommend!

The food was fantastic and the server that helped at the wedding reception was top-notch. I wouldn't have made it without her. I am extremely disappointed with the catering service provided by Beefalo Bob’s for my wedding. It was an absolute disaster from start to finish, and I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. First and foremost, the biggest issue was the complete lack of attention to detail. The catering team, inexcusably, forgot to provide the sterno cans that were essential to keeping our food warm. As a result, we had no choice but to serve cold food. It's unfathomable how a professional catering company could overlook such a basic and essential component of their service and it is absolutely unacceptable. The food was also not very good to begin with. Adding to the already disappointing experience, I want to highlight that we gave them the opportunity to reconcile the situation. This is when my true frustration and disappointment came. We were not looking for anything extravagant; all we asked for was a bare minimum of a 25% refund to compensate for the cold, unappetizing food that our guests had to endure. However, instead of understanding our frustration and acknowledging their mistake, they were argumentative, in a very unprofessional manner. They gave excuse after excuse and tried to shift the blame from one place to another when the one thing that truly matters is the customer experience. Their counteroffer was laughable at best, honestly, I found it insulting. They offered to refund the cost of the sterno cans and provide us with a voucher for future services. Given the dismal experience we had at our wedding, the idea of trusting them with another event was out of the question. Their unwillingness to provide a reasonable refund further emphasized their disregard for customer satisfaction. After much back and forth they honored our request but the journey to get there was embarrassing and unprofessional on their part. This company's approach to addressing their mistakes and poor service is unacceptable. In conclusion, I strongly advise against using this company for any event, especially your wedding day. They failed to meet even the basic expectations of a catering service, and their lack of accountability and terrible customer service only compounded the issue. Our experience was nothing short of a disaster, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what we endured. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your catering needs.

Beefalo Bob’s provided everything we needed for our reception, then some! It rained on our wedding day and Shannon easily pivoted to our rain back-up plan and set up all of our decorations flawlessly. Staff was friendly, communication during the reception was easy, and folks really enjoyed the cornhole - the option to rent that was a bonus for us! The food was also delicious and the drinks were generously served which means everyone was happy and having a great time. Erica corresponded promptly during the many months of preparation and was flexible, courteous, and professional while we edited our rental list and sent payments. Thank you for an evening we’ll remember forever!!!

I hired Beefalo Bob’s to cater my casual state park wedding, but unfortunately a tropical storm forced us to relocate indoors…disappointing to say the least. Although it wasn’t our ideal place, I have to say that Beefalo bobs more than exceeded my expectations. Both of the catering staff working my wedding were wonderful, but Kristen was especially exceptional! The food was yummy and fresh. My husband said “Best wedding food I’ve had!” Thank you Kristen and the entire team for helping to make our day special!

From the moment we reached out to Beefalo Bob, the experience was awesome. Everything that was promised was equaled or surpassed. Especially the food portions. We had 100 people and had enough food left over to feed a small army! The service was second to none and the food was incredible. Not a single guest had anything to say negative. I'm sure Beefalo will get business from our party. Thank you so much!!!

Beefalo Bobs did an outstanding job at my wedding. I had several guests compliment the food, and they even boxed up some leftovers for my husband and I to enjoy later. We only had 1 bartender for our 75 guests and she did absolutely outstanding despite being by herself. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because Erica, the point of contact for the catering was very hard to get a hold of through email. If you ever need a timely response or a response at all for that matter, you have to either call her or email her several times which was frustrating. Despite that, I would still go with this caterer as you don't deal with Erica the day of your wedding, they send excellent staff instead to service you, and their food was very good and inexpensive which is a huge plus.

Beefalo Bob’s was outstanding and we got so so many compliments from our guests on the food. The team that was there on our wedding day made everything perfect and everything ran smoothly. I HIGHLY recommend going with them, their whole team is fantastic and you will not be disappointed!!

The 2 employee that was at our wedding did a absolutely fantastic job. From getting set up keeping things going and cleaning up they was so friendly and so polite. Did I mention the food was delicious and I didn't get 1 complaint from any guest.

Beefalo Bobs was absolute perfection for our wedding! They provided food, bar, and desserts. Not only did we receive soooo many compliments from our guests on the food we got to bring home the leftovers! We also chose a cupcake trio for our desserts. Word spread quickly on how delicious they were because we ran out of cupcakes in about 10 minutes! Aside from how great the actual product was; the staff was amazing. We work with Erica prior to our event. She was attentive and answered any questions. Our day of staff were fantastic!! Overall Beefalo Bobs was one of best decisions and truly knocked it out of the park!

These guys just nailed it. We had a bit of a non-traditional setup, with flexible meal times and a need to adjust the positioning of some things, but everyone was flexible and energetic. Put simply, they figured everything out. It's affordable and, obviously, delicious. Seriously perfect.

Beefalo Bob’s was great from start to finish. The staff was really helpful in creating a vision for the food we wanted the day of for dinner as well as our cocktail hour. We went with the open bar package and which was a bonus because they provided alcohol, mixers and regular drinks. The drinks and food were both great. In addition, the staff was really friendly and tentative, especially to myself and my husband!

We learned about Beefalo Bob's when a friend used them for their wedding caterer a few years ago. We were very impressed with their food then and knew we wanted to use them for our big day! I am very happy we chose to use Beefalo Bob's! Erica was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and was very patient with all of my questions and frequent phone calls. They arrived on time the day of our wedding and it was so cool to have them smoking food in front of our guests. The smells were mouth watering. The portion sizes were very generous and we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy for the next few days after our wedding as well as give to some of our guests to take home to enjoy as well. So many people raved about how delicious the food was and I could not agree more! We hired 2 of their bartenders who kept drinks flowing throughout the night! Having them provide both food and alcohol was so convenient! All of the staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful on the day of our wedding and we were very impressed! Things could not have gone any better. I would 100% use them for further catering services! I would also like to make it to their restaurant just to enjoy some delicious smoke food and their amazing mac and cheese!

Beefalo Bob’s truly went above and beyond for our wedding! Not only was the food fantastic, so was the staff! They made sure everything was perfect and helped in any way they could. We received so many compliments on the food. Luckily we even had some to take home and enjoy the next day! I would recommend Beefalo Bobs every, single time!

Absolutely amazing service. From the very beginning they were responsive and made sure everything was smooth. Monthly check ins to make sure there were no changes in plans. Day of service was phenomenal, polite staff, fun, very kind and helpful. Food was amazing as well. Several guest asking for left overs that’s how great the food was!

I can’t remember the two women that came to our wedding to serve our guests but they were phenomenal!!! The food was delicious, service was AMAZING, and the guests were so pleased. I would definitely hired Beefalo Bobs for any future events. The food was DELICIOUS!!!!

The food was really good and guests were happy. The catering coordinators were always very responsive and helpful. However I think with COVID they are short staffed. We hired & paid for 6 servers for our wedding and only 2 showed up. We understand things happen and we are reasonable, so when 2 more servers showed up 2.5 hours late we were still grateful for the help. We were still shorted 2 servers at the end of the day and we also ran the risk of our wedding being shut down because there was no self service allowed but it was impossible for the servers to bartend and serve food at the same time. I’m sure this was a one time instance, but we paid thousands of dollars (100 guests) so I expected the catering manager to be apologetic, but she was not and got defensive when I called to give feedback. She said the servers didn’t have to stay and help cleanup as it wasn’t in the contract but they did anyway. Technically yes they did but they were also 2.5 hours late… I honestly did not want any refund and just requested the money they owed us be used to tip the servers that showed up, which they did. Not the best experience overall, but an affordable option.

Food was a 10/10. Erica was 0/10. Even though the food was great, I'd probably pass. 1. Every time I would email her, I would receive no response for weeks until I called them and she would address over the phone 2. My ceremony was in the same location as my reception. Arriving an hour early to set up catering for the reception would require them showing up in the middle of the ceremony. after talking to her 3 times I kept trying to say we could have them arrive after the ceremony and set up then. She insisted that they would arrive an hour before my ceremony and it wouldn't disrupt at all. I said fine because I was tired of talking to her and lo and behold they were late and we had to push back the ceremony while we waited for them to set up. No idea why she wouldn't just agree for them to set up after the ceremony. 3. A month before my wedding, I called to confirm something with her. She sends a confirmation email but part of it doesn't make sense to. I email asking for clarification and she doesn't answer me. At that point I had given up talking to her since she never answered. Then it's time for my final deposit, I send her the final count and she sends me the amount due. I call her to once again verify that the caterers will not affect my ceremony and she says they won't. oh and I forgot to ask but what kind of alcohol did you want for the bar. Because she never answered my emails, she didn't have all the info she should have asked for previously. After confirming the menu (which included removing an appetizer I was looking forward to because "the price increased"), the final invoice was a few hundred dollars higher than the email she sent. Which wouldn't have been a big deal if she had called or confirmed at a time that wasn't a week before my wedding. Zero attention to detail. Zero communication.

The catering service was amazing. Kim and Erica made sure all the arrangements were set to what we wanted and even made last minute changes. They provided the tent, tables, linens and dance floor. The serving staff was amazing and very respectful. I would recommend them and definitely use them again!

I cannot say enough positive things about Beefalo Bob's and their catering staff. Not only was the food so amazing, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Prior to the wedding, staff was very responsive and helped me to create exactly what I needed. The staff at the wedding were also so kind and accommodating. I has also researched several other caterers prior to booking them and they were the most reasonable/affordable (especially when we changed the contract a bit to meet our exact wants/needs) while also being of great quality. Everyone was obsessed with the food and still talk about the mac and cheese a week later!

Beefalo Bobs was a huge hit at our wedding! They were wonderful to work with leading up to the event & were so helpful with changes during the pandemic. We opted to do on-site smoking & the smell of the cooking food was mouth-watering. They are an affordable option for wedding catering with AMAZING food. On the day of the wedding, they met our every need. We also had tons of leftover food, which was a great plus. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to do BBQ for their wedding!

Excellent service. Don’t skimp on having food cooked on site if you can! Add ones needed: wedding services and trash removal! Time and life savers well worth it. This was our second time with this vendor in 13 years! We will call again for sure.

Food was good. They made a lot of stuff with vegan butter which was great since I’m lactose intolerant. But they showed up late. All in all just an ok experience.

The food was amazing. We had barely any left over because our guests went back three or four times for more. The staff were do nice and we're huge helps when cleaning up at the end up the night. Highly recommended.

Beefalo Bob's catered our barn wedding, they had never before been to our venue, so they made it a point to travel there and see it first hand before our wedding day to make sure they were prepared! They kept all of the food in our buffet stocked, and served my husband and I at our sweetheart table. They not only made our plates initially, but they continuously came over to check on us and bring us refills. The bartenders and servers were all incredibly friendly and pleasant to be around on our day. Plus, the food is AWESOME! We go to Beefalo Bob's restaurant all the time and love it, so we knew we had to have them cater our wedding. Our guests had so many positive things to say about the food and the servers friendliness!

Beefalo Bob's Catering helped me with our Maryland BBQ themed rehearsal dinner for my son and his wife to be! They arrived early and immediately started setting up and their staff took directions very well. The entire catered event was exactly what I ordered and the food was excellent. We had plenty of food and they even packaged up the leftovers for us to use the next day. They cleaned up at the end and removed all trash and left the area exactly as they found it!! They had a bar set up and managed it well considering we had 80 people attending the event. They even learned to make orange crushes for our guests , they were GREAT!!! I will use them again without doubt for any other event I may have!!

Due to my wedding being a crazy day, I had to gather information from my planner regarding the services on my special day. Beefelao failed to keep the buffet area clean and neat, which is sad that my guest had to see a mess and what I was worried about the most. Before my wedding, I attended another wedding catering by Beefalo Bob and did address my concerns regarding that with the caterer manager. At the end of the night they did not clean up the buffet area before leaving, and my planner was left with that. My husband did ask them to stay longer, which we were willing to pay for; however, that request was not fulfilled. With that information, I would not use them again. The food was great, but the service needs to match it, especially when the client is willing to pay for the staff to stay longer. The low score is based on the services, not the food.

We had never heard of Beefalo Bob's before we started looking for Caterers. Being from Delaware, the low prices of the catering menus are what prompted us to check them out. I am SO happy that we did. All of the food was absolutely amazing. The staff was so flexible with us, and everything ran smoothly. We got delivery & setup, and everything ran perfectly!

Beefalo Bobs did a phenomenal job catering our wedding over labor day weekend. The food was delicious, and the service was fabulous. The various servers they provided for the day were extremely friendly and accommodating to every guest. They offered to serve the wedding party table, and throughout the night were refilling guests drinks from the bar (who was hired by a different vendor)! Additionally, Michelle was such a pleasure to work with. She ensured everything was ordered and ready to go for our big day, and took care of all the details so that on the day of neither me nor the groom had to worry about anything. It truly was a great day all around, and kudos to Beefalo Bobs for going above and beyond to make our day truly special. Thanks again!
