such a beautiful venue! They were super communicative through the whole process. The day of went by smoothly and could not have asked for better staff!!
Bella Oaks was the perfect venue for our wedding! We loved the different spaces that they offer, while still maintaining a cohesive feel. We had our ceremony underneath the big oaks at sunset and it was absolutely gorgeous. We used the space behind the groom’s suite for the cocktail areas and it was wonderful. Our guests loved the yard games, string lights and pretty white chapel for photos. The bride and groom’s suites are perfect for getting ready and hanging out before the ceremony. There is space in the bottom floor of the bride’s suite for the catering staging area and there is also room for a band green room in either the bride’s suite or the groom’s suite. The reception pavilion was the perfect size for our ~175 person wedding! If the weather is nice, there is the option to slide open the glass walls to have an outdoor feel. The venue spaces (including the restrooms) were very clean and our guests had a fantastic time!
Antebellum Oaks was WOW! We got married the week after the snowstorm and the venue was still beautiful! Our guests loved the cocktail hour area and all the different areas that allowed for beautiful pictures. The flexibility of the space was perfect for our small wedding and still made it feel big! The spaces for bride and groom before the wedding made for an all-day event and we even got use of the groom’s suite grill for lunch!
Any questions?
Antebellum Oaks was one of the first venues we saw when planning our wedding. My wife and I fell in love with the beauty of the grounds and flexibility that allowed for us to be very hands-on with the planning. Diana and Jasmin were highly organized, communicative and let us get as creative as we wanted to be.
A huge THANK YOU to the team an AOV for giving us the wedding of our dreams!
The only pro of this venue is that is a beautiful property. It is unfortunately being done a disservice by the ownership/management team. I got married here October 17, 2020. I signed a contract for my wedding over a year in advanced, and had since been left with little to no communication from Antebellum Oaks despite mine and my mothers efforts. Once COVID19 pandemic began, I did not receive 1 email about the company plans / policies / adjustments or even assuring they were still having weddings. At my 6 week walkthrough, I found out the venue had been under new management - Valerie Miller Events - for 6+ months. There was no communication on this transition (I was even emailing an employee who no longer worked there) and Valerie Miller Events was disgruntled that I had an "old contract" with policies and promises they were not familiar with. Open flames are banned and my mother got permission to buy 300+ glass hurricane vase candle covers that would contain candles. Fast forward to night of my wedding - the owner Diana and her husband were hovering over the event micromanaging every thing and person and honestly being downright rude. They did not allow us to light any candle sticks with flames contained inside glass covers, Diana refusing and becoming verbally argumentative. No one should EVER be spoken to the way Diana yelled at my vendors, yet alone on the DAY OF the event. She made the entire set up / take down an awful experience by harassing/screaming at vendors and relatives, leaving my family and I flat out embarrassed we paid $8,000 for this treatment. The venue was left thoroughly cleaned twice over, yet the verbal taunting did not stop and I don't doubt she will refuse to refund my deposit. It was the most uncomfortable and disrespectful treatment of clients and vendors I have ever witnessed. I would truly not recommend anyone else get married at this location. The best thing I can do is right this review now that my wedding was nearly ruined by this venue.
Amazing venue! My daughter was married here Feb 1st and it was a perfect day. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The bridal suite and groomsmen pool house make it so convenient for the bridal party to enjoy their time together before the main event. There were 13 bridesmaids and groomsmen and there was plenty of room for everyone to get ready and eat lunch. The outdoor ceremony under the beautifully lit oak trees was gorgeous. Their indoor facility is beautiful and with 20 tables and 160 guests there was plenty of room for dancing. The sliding glass doors all around the facility made you feel like you were outside and give you a breath of fresh air if you so desire. Having access to the facility at 11am was a must for us as we provided & arranged all the decor, flowers/centerpieces, and desserts ourselves. Diana was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. It was a definite plus being able to bring in our own alcohol and supply our guests with my husbands special margaritas. She even allowed us to drive the uhaul full of our supplies up the night of the rehearsal and unload them into the reception hall and leave the uhaul there overnight! Again, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Antebellum. It's the best kept secret in Austin!

Suz,
Thank you so much for your wonderful review!
I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on this year, and how much I miss seeing and feeling all the “love” this job has to offer!
The photography was amazing, (Fun and hilarious) as I saw some of...
her work. It was certainly a fun celebration, and your hubby should consider selling his margarita mix!!
Your planning, and your vision made it a great day, and It was great working with you!

We loved Antebellum Oaks-- the place is beautiful, the bridal suite is great for getting ready, and they adjusted so easily for us when weather problems made us change our whole schedule the day before. Overall we had a wonderful experience! Our guests loved the venue and we were told so many times how beautiful and perfect the place was. The only downside for us was that there was one set price to rent the space, even if our ceremony was at a church elsewhere. Our total wedding cost was a little more than we'd originally hoped but it was still worth it!
We absolutely loved loved this venue! Great staff and gorgeous property!! Our wedding turned out beautiful and all of our dreams come true!
Antebellum Oaks was the perfect venue for our wedding! It was the first venue that we toured, and we fell so in love that we were not excited to check out other venues. It is absolutely gorgeous and we got endless compliments from our out of state guests! I love that everything was on-site from getting ready to ceremony and reception. The venue also had tables, chairs and linens as well as décor that we were able to use. Rebecca and Diana were so great to work with. This stunning venue helped make our wedding day a dream! I highly recommend Antebellum Oaks!
Antebellum Oaks was our wedding venue for our March 2019 wedding. We found them right after we got engaged, and we are so glad that we did. The staff were very friendly and answered all of our questions, and they continued to answer any questions that we had leading up to the wedding. We met with them a month before the wedding to go over the setup for the day-of. On the day of the wedding, everything was very smooth. Everything was ready for us when we arrived, and we were able to decide on the day that we wanted to move the ceremony inside since it was a bit chilly outside that day. And it was a beautiful ceremony! We moved the reception tables to the side, and it looked great. We had about 150 people, with reception tables on the outside of the room, with a big dance floor in the middle, and it was a perfect combination. Everyone danced the night away, and we never felt hot or crowded in the space. Having the big windows around the room bring in so much light and being able to open some of them really allowed for temperature control in the room as the night went on. We are so glad that we were able to use Antebellum Oaks as the location for our special day!
Choosing Antebellum Oaks for our wedding ceremony and reception location was one of the easiest decisions we made during the wedding planning process. As soon as I walked inside the reception space, I knew this was the perfect place for our big day! The venue has so many options on where you can host the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc. - which I loved!
We were worried about the weather, but it turned out to be a beautiful day so we were able to open up all the doors/windows. We received SO MANY compliments about how gorgeous the venue was. We had only toured it during the daytime, but at night with all of the lights, it's truly stunning.
Diana was incredibly easy to work with and was on site for the entire event making sure everything was exactly as we wanted it.
If you're looking for a venue, go check out Antebellum Oaks - great location, beautiful venue, easy to work with, affordable, flexible, the list goes on and on!
Antebellum Oaks was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! Working and planning with the staff was very easy. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating, and I felt they truly cared about our wedding and wanted it to be perfect.
We were married underneath the oak trees, which was magical. The grounds are so lush even in December, well-landscaped, and impeccable! We had our reception in the indoor space and it was plenty of room for 120 guests. We had to do very little decorating because it's already so beautiful on its own.
We enjoyed using the groom and bridal suites the day of the wedding, making it very convenient for everyone to get ready. The bridal suite overlooks the outdoor area, so I was able to peak through the windows and balcony and watch our guests arrive, which was so much fun!
Overall wonderful experience and I highly recommend!

Thank you, Meagan. We are thrilled your day was nothing short of 'magical'. It was a joy working with you and Carl, and we wish you both all the best!
I worked with Rebecca initially when signing with Antebellum Oaks, she was extremely responsive and kind. She even brought us a bottle of champagne when we signed our contract! The venue is stunning from every angle. There are two areas to get married, under the lit oak trees, or under string lights that come together at a small chapel. You can also get married inside the spacious venue should the weather not permit an outdoor wedding. They were very clear on contracts and rules about the venue, we never felt confused. We had a meeting closer to the date with Diana, the owner, who is also extremely nice and helpful. She helped compile a layout for the day of and review all final details. The day of the rehearsal and wedding day went off without a hitch and everyone raved at how beautiful the venue was. One feature we fell in love with was that the glass windows on the main area and stack back an open to the beautiful surrounding landscape...that was the selling point for us. :)

Thank you so much, Caitlyn. We work hard to make your event everything you imagine, and are thrilled that this was reflected in your review. We wish you and Keith a lifetime of happiness!
We just got married here in October and everything went absolutely perfect! The weather was a tad warm for us but the oak trees gave good shade for the ceremony at 5pm. We got so many compliments about how gorgeous the venue was. Great photo opportunities around the property as well! So many great things to say about the venue, would definitely recommend this venue to anyone getting married in the Austin area.
Response from the Vendor on 01/29/2019
Woohoo! Thank you for your great review. We love what we do because we have such great clients. We wish you and Anthony a lifetime of love!
This venue was gorgeous and extremely helpful! They let me come and check it out as often as I wanted. They also provided some of their own decorations we could use which was really nice. Only negative was the groomsmen room (pool house) didn’t have good AC and it was really hot in mid June! I would def have my wedding here again if I had to do it over! There were lots of great places to take unique background pictures which I also really enjoyed!
Absolutely beautiful venue! The oak trees are to die for and they do have a back up area in the reception hall in case of rain, which we had to do.
We had our wedding at Antebellum Oaks on March 16, 2018. From the very beginning of the process, Rebecca was awesome! I’ve had to cancel our tour twice due to the hurricane and me getting sick but she worked with me. When we were finally able to visit the venue, I feel in love with it quickly. It’s the perfect place for where and how we wanted our wedding to be. The oak tree is magnificent and God blessed us with the perfect weather so everything turned out beautifully. Best of all, Tony and his wife, our venue coordinators that day were just amazing!!Tony was so attentive and helpful. He made sure that my husband and I had food and drinks through out the night. From when we started decorating that morning all the way to the end of the wedding that night, he was a constant calming presence and I couldn’t have thank him enough. For sure, the venue is just beautiful but Rebecca and Tony made the entire planning and wedding experience a memorable one because they went above and beyond to make it less stressful so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for everything!
perfectly!

Thank you for you kind comments, Nannette! You, your new husband, and your family are the reason we love what we do! We are honored to have hosted your wedding and we wish you the very best!
This beautiful venue MADE our wedding. Not only is it a goregous and romantic venue, but it has everything to make sure your entire wedding day is an amazing experience. The girls sipped champange while getting their makeup and hair done in the private bridal building. The guys swam and had a fun-filled day at the pool house (probably too much fun!). The sweet and amazing Diana made the entire process exciting and stress-free. It was as if I had a second wedding planner. She helped in setting up, breaking down, and I even noticed her picking up after others. I absolutely loved working with Diana and Antebellum Oaks. I am so thankful to them for making our special day such a success!!

Thank you, Sarah! Your wedding was unforgettable, and your family is the best! You are the reason we love what we do!
This venue is really stunning. Diana was extremely helpful and flexible throughout the entire process and was proactive about communication. We have nothing but good things to say about the venue and our guests were blown away. We used the ceremony site under the oak trees and even though we were married on a June afternoon (hot!) there was a nice breeze and a reasonable amount of shade. The pavilion was lovely for our reception - We had a fairly small wedding but they set up the room so it felt like the perfect size. The landscaping was lovely and because the pavilion is encased in glass sliding doors, we really didn't need to do much to decorate - the flowers and trees around the venue did most of the work for us! We would highly recommend this venue.
The venue is beautiful, and we had a wonderful wedding day.
We were told there was a wedding the day prior to our wedding so we made special arrangements to have our rehearsal at noon. We were unpleasantly surprised that there was no wedding that day and would have liked to have been told ahead of time so we could do our rehearsal at the time of our wedding.
Additionally, the lawn was extremely overgrown when we arrived the day before and called the staff who had no idea. Had we not called, the lawn likely would not have been cut for our day.
Diana took no notes during our walk through and I had to remind her of my setup needs the week of the wedding which was stressful. We did not have a pleasant conversation with her only days before the wedding about something she insisted we needed to do. Turns out she was wrong and caused us some stress during our week prior.
The wedding venue is beautiful and we wouldn't change it, but be prepared to make sure the staff does their job. You'll have to remind them of a lot of things. The price is cheap compared to other venues, at least for the time of year and day we booked. You get what you pay for.
I saw the owners of the venue making their way through my buffet line. In the contract, there was no statement that I had to pay for their meals too. I should have had an overage of at least 10-15 meals left due to guest who couldn't end up making it and also just an extra overage of 5 meals. I had 3 meals left.
Also their maintenance man was harassing my bridal party and called one of my family members a bitch. He was a real prick and had an arrogance about him that he owned the place.
Beautiful venue but they felt they were entitled to take advantage of their clients.
Overall was disappointed in their service.
Antebellum Oaks Venue was perfect for my wedding and reception. The venue is private as it is surrounded by a nature preserve. The staff was always helpful and accommodating, responding quickly to emails with answers to my questions. I liked that the venue had two ceremony sites. We chose the site under the Oak trees. It was lovely. Another great aspect of this venue is that the reception area is completely covered, but because of the sliding glass doors, you can get the feeling that you are outside. You also have the option to keep the doors open if the weather is great.
What an amazing, gorgeous, great location venue to host an event. My daughter was married here on March 29, 2014. The staff at AOV knocked it out of the park. So easy to work with and extremely knowledgable and helpful staff. I HIGHLY recommend checking them out for any event you are hosting. Close to hotels, in the middle of Lakeway, but feels like they are out away from it all. Loved the fact that the grounds are so perfectly manicured and you have access to the whole property. Under the tree pavillion, Open air or closed a/c or heat main hall, and upper level grounds. STUNNING during the day or evening. Can you tell I loved this place?
We got married at Antebellum Oaks and couldn't have asked for a better venue! We worked with Frank & Diana, who were both fantastic! They were always very helpful and answered any questions we had efficiently and effectively. The landscaping is beautiful and there's a great plan B in case of rain. They also provide all the tables and chairs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and set them up. We got lots of compliments from all our guests- I would definitely recommend Antebellum Oaks!
This venue is absolutely gorgeous with a large pavilion and plenty of space for guests to walk around. We got married under the large oak tree and there was such an easy transition from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception. And we were allowed to have yard games set up so there was plenty to keep guests entertained while the bridal party took pictures.
The pavilion just had glass doors installed around the sides (it was completely open before), which actually made the reception area larger. We had just under 200 people and it was still very comfortable even with a large dance floor and buffet area set up inside. Diana is amazing and is a true pro at weddings! I thought we had everything planned but she thought of things I hadn't imagined and helped make everything absolutely perfect!
I would definitely recommend this venue to any couple that want something different than a stuffy hotel or country club and want an outdoor style wedding- without the worry of rain or bad weather! Everyone keeps telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to and we are so glad we chose this venue!!
I can't say better things about this venue. Everything was perfect, and the service and venue were spectacular.
I planned my wedding from across the country, without a planner, and Frank and Diana were such a huge help. Not only did they provide vendor recommendations and other helpful tips, but they also happily accommodated countless emails and visits to the property each time I was in town to ensure that we were comfortable with our DIY plans. We joked about "my good friend, Frank" multiple times throughout the process.
The day of site manager was so sweet and did a great job watching out for the venue's interests without making guests feel uncomfortable. She worked closely with our day-of planner to ensure everything went off without a hitch!
As for quality and value, this place is awesome. The package includes all basic rentals for 200 guests, sparklers, onsite management, and amazing facilities. They are also willing to step in where other tasks need to be done and worked well with the caterer and other vendors. The Hill Country views pretty much eliminate the need for additional decorations (we just had centerpieces), and the new sliding doors on the pavilion make for a perfect indoor-outdoor wedding with an excellent rain plan!! We were blessed with spectacular weather, but we also were happy for the piece of mind, knowing the venue could handle any change of plans.
Our wedding really was perfect. We used the open lawns for cornhole, washers, and bocce, the open deck for soft refreshments and mingling, and the air-conditioned pavilion for dinner, which we were able to open almost completely once the temperature cooled a bit.
I highly recommend this venue! Everything is just beautiful, and fantastic service!
We had an amazing wedding at La Paloma! It hasn't rained in Texas in like two years, but of course it rained the day of our wedding. Diana (the owner) was really cool about everything - she knew I wanted the ceremony outdoors if at all possible, so they set up all the ceremony chairs outside with a tarp over them in case the rain broke...which it did - they were out blow drying the trees we were getting married under with a leaf blower, and they just worked their butts off to make the wedding a success. Super-cool people, and beautiful outdoor ceremony site. We loved the covered pavilion for the reception too - it's like being outdoors and indoors at the same time. I would highly recommend this place!
This venue is amazing!! I had the whole venue for the weekend, including the house on the property which was so nice and convenient. I loved the layout and it was perfect for our wedding day. The one thing I will say is that the service provided by the owners are hard to work with. It felt like they weren't communicating with my day-of coordinator. The day of the wedding and in fact when we were supposed to be packing up they completely changed plans and made us take everything off the property when the original plan was to move it up to the house for the night. It was SO stressful for my guests, family and everyone having to pack up everything and move it in several truck fulls to my family's house. Also, I had lights set up and the lights weren't even arranged how we had talked about and I still had to pay the full price for set up even though they weren't set up correctly. There were many other things that were confusing or unclear throughout the year of planning the wedding. Also, they were unresponsive at times if I had questions and rude at times if they were needing something from me. As the bride, I was not expecting to be treated this way. The day went fine overall but there were some hiccups here and there with the level of service. My day of coordinator was awesome and did the best she could.
Response from the Vendor on 05/16/2012
Dear Elizabeth,
I appologize for any misscommunication! As you know the wedding coordinator is no longer employed by La Paloma event center. I appologize that you were given the impression your rental for the venue was for the entire weekend....
As for the lighting our staff was never given a layout on your lighting. We make exceptions for our guest staying in the house that items of decor can be moved up to the house at the end of an event, so i'm not understanding why you were given the impresssion that you couldn't do that. Again I sincerely appologize if we came accross as rude, that was not our intention. As always, Diana Barron
We had our rehearsal dinner at La Paloma the Friday night before our wedding. We initially had spotty communication when we first signed our contract because La Paloma was transitioning through new management, but Diana began communicating with us at the beginning of March and she was incredibly friendly and flexible. The rental included tables, linens, chiavari chairs (how rare is that!), set up, and break down at the end of the night, which makes it so easy and hassle free. Another one of the main reasons we chose La Paloma was the ability to choose outside catering - we were able to bring in food from two different restaurants. We kept it simple that night and didn't do any decorations, which worked out just fine because La Paloma is so beautiful already - the pavilion is beautifully lit, there's great landscaping with a small creek and huge trees. We got tons of comments throughout the night about how beautiful the venue was.
La Paloma is a beautiful venue at a great value. There's a house, pool, and poolhouse on the property that you can rent if you have your wedding there. The venue is definitely a hidden gem!
La Paloma Event Center is gorgeous! Our wedding was beautiful, fun, and memorable. If you are looking for a picture perfect venue, this is the place. Diana and Mike have done an amazing job at including everything that a couple wants for their wedding. The staff is so helpful and it's easy to relax and enjoy the big day. They really take care of everything and make it beautiful. Thank you Diana, Mike, and Casey for helping us make our dream wedding a realization and for sharing in the celebration of our union!
I cannot say enough about how wonderful La Paloma was for our March wedding. Throughout the year long planning process, Eileen was amazingly helpful and on top of things. She went above and beyond her duties to help us with whatever we needed and answer the millions of questions we had. And on the day of the wedding, Eileen, Diana and Mike were all at their best. Everyone there works so hard to make sure everything is perfect for your day.
And the venue alone is beautiful. The landscaping is amazing and everything looks clean and new. I did very little with extra decorations because the venue on its own is amazing.
We rented the house from the Thursday before the wedding to the Sunday after, which cost extra but was well worth it. My family and I stayed there, which was perfect for bringing stuff over and setting up early. I would recommend booking the house for extra days if possible - it makes everything very convenient.
We definitely feel that we got our moneys worth (and then some) with La Paloma. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
We looked at about 40 different venues to find the perfect place for our ceremony and reception. Ridiculous? Yes, but I have been a wedding coordinator for 3 years, and as soon as I met Eileen and Casey and saw La Paloma in person, I knew we couldn't ask for a better venue. Diana and her husband Mike, the owners of La Paloma, are fantastic! They obviously take great pride in their gorgeous venue because the landscaping is always perfectly manicured and the entire space is always spotless. Eileen and Casey were my day of coordinators but were there for me every step of the way. During the planning process, they helped with set up and decoration ideas, floorplans, timeline and so much more. The night of the wedding, Josh and I didn't have to do a thing. They took care of setting everything up and making sure we were staying on track, without being pushy. We could not have asked for a better venue. They made us feel amazing on our special day and our guests are still ranting and raving about how beautiful the ceremony and reception were. We can not thank them enough and we highly recommend La Paloma for a wedding or any other special event.
First, this venue offers everything you need, ALL inclusive! We had a great relationship with lots of help months in advance of our event! The facilities are impeccable. We had both a wedding ceremony and reception that went so smoothly thanks to the attention of Mike and Diana who are in my opinion experts at something they clearly enjoy. There were so many beautiflul places to take pictures it was hard to choose. So many options for setting up for ceremony, cocktail hour, reception you name it. In short, it was perfect!
I would definitely recommend having your wedding here, it is beautiful! We didn't even use that many decorations because it didn't need it. The price is reasonable for what you get (which I thought was a lot). Also the event coordinators where very nice but a little hard to get a hold of.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A VENUE, LOOK NO FURTHER, LA PALOMA HAS IT ALL. THIS BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY HAS A GORGEOUS HUGE PAVILION, LARGE DECKING WITH LIGHTED TREES, CATERING KITCHEN, BRIDAL AND GROOMAN SUITES, LARGE LIGHTED PARKING LOT, BEAUTIFUL 5 BEDROOM PLANTAION STYLE HOME, POOL W/HOT TUB, POOL HOUSE, AND MUCH MORE... MIKE AND DIANA BARRON, THE OWNERS, ARE THE SWEETEST MOST HELPFUL PEOPLE, I HAVE EVER MET. THEY WILL DO EVERTHING WITHIN THEIR POWER TO ENSURE YOUR EVENT IS PERFECT. THIS IS AN AMAZING VENUE!!!
