Belle of the Ball Designs

My husband and I chose to use Belle of the Ball Designs for our wedding last month. Everyone at Belle of the Ball was super easy to talk to, extremely kind, and blew us both away with their creations on our wedding day. Jen went above and beyond to make our day look spectacular. We would recommend them ten times over. We really loved working with Jen and the team!

I am SO happy we decided to go with Belle of the Ball Designs for our wedding - they were the perfect fit! Their floral arrangements are truly top-notch - I don't think I've ever seen more beautiful florals in my life, and the team is supremely professional and responsive. I had a very specific vision for my wedding and the Belle of the Ball team executed it FLAWLESSLY. They took the time to listen to what I was looking for while also offering amazing suggestions. They tweaked and re-tweaked my proposal (and the demo arrangements) until we were 100% happy with every aspect - from the candles down the aisle to the bridal bouquets and sweetheart table arrangements and all of the details in between. They paid such amazing attention to detail and were so willing to go above and beyond in order to create the wedding of my dreams. The florals transformed my venue into a magical fairytale and I'm STILL getting compliments about how beautiful everything was. Belle of the Ball is amazing and I would highly recommend them for your wedding!

Jen & her entire team are absolutely incredible! I can say without a doubt that she made my dreams come true that day. From the flowers to the decor, she went above and beyond my expectations, all while keeping within my budget and vision! She was extremely professional throughout the entire process and extremely talented in knowing what looks good and what works! She gave me a Pintrest wedding with each and every detail! I highly highly recommend Belle of the Ball Designs if you want to be blown away and trust that everything will meet your expectations.

Belle of the Ball was great to work with and the flowers on my big day were beautiful. However, I feel they could have done a better job keeping track of the vision, specific personal requests, and specifics to the wedding. I wanted the flowers to really match my venue, Walnut Grove, with lots of greenery and some white thrown in to bring it together. My only specific for the flowers was absolutely NO roses. And of course almost my entire bouquet was roses. I also felt that my bouquet looked very out of place compared with all my bridesmaids bouquets and the other floral arrangements. Where there were no roses! I wanted my bouquet to be a cascade style very loose, organic, and almost vertical. I sent picture examples of this for reference, but it just ended up being extremely large and traditional style, and not what I imagined at all. I also mentioned early on that we would be having 150 people, but only 9 tables. Seeing as they are very familiar with the venue, I feel they should have known that this is not enough tables to seat that many people. We were doing very long king size tables, I know now that I should have been more clear. But it didn't cross my mind that the size of tables would affect flowers. We didn't find out that we actually needed DOUBLE the amount of centerpieces until 2 weeks before the wedding, and by that time most of the money was spent. Jen did a great job calming me down and letting me know it would all work out, but it just wasn't what I had in mind. Like I said, they were great to work with and they did a really great job. My only advice to future brides/grooms, is to be very clear and specific and don't be afraid to repeat yourself!

Belle of the Ball Designs did an INCREDIBLE job on our wedding. They made everything so easy for us in a very stressful process. We got mock ups beforehand to make sure the flowers would fit our vision. Everything was stunning. And even better, our wedding day happened to be the hottest day of the year - 104 degrees for an outdoor ceremony. Belle of the Ball managed to make an entire flower arch in that heat and keep everything looking fresh the entire time despite the crazy weather. We received so many compliments on the flowers (especially my bouquet). I am so glad we picked them!!

We worked with Jennifer and her team for our wedding in May and I am so thankful we did. After our initial style and vision conversation she created an incredible look-book for me to review that was basically dead on! The final arrangements were so beautiful, I only wish I could have kept my bouquet alive forever!

I can't tell you how AMAZING Belle of the Ball Designs is. My husband and I chose them as our florist for our October wedding and everything was lovely. Jen was so easy to communicate with and they nailed exactly how I wanted our ceremony and reception to look. I also had some changes I needed to make and they were incredibly flexible. I was referred to Jen by my wedding planner and she was absolutely amazing. I planned my wedding from out-of-state so most of our communication was via email. She was incredibly responsive and detail oriented, even with all of my last minute requests. The flowers on the day of turned out to be beautiful and exactly what I was picturing. I highly recommend!

Belle of the Ball was simply incredible. We looked at quite few florists when beginning to plan our wedding because we knew that flowers were going to be really important to us. Upon meeting with Jen and her team, we knew we were in good hands. These gals know flowers! We had brought pictures off pinterest and they were able to identify every type, and color available to help us make our vision a reality. The detail and thought put into every petal and decorative element truly exceeded our expectations. After leaving our reception, I whispered to my husband “Those were the prettiest flowers I had ever seen in my whole life”. With personal touches, excellent communication, and fair pricing for the amount of work flowers entail, we would happily recommend Belle of the Ball to anyone. They made the process easy, enjoyable, and were able to make our wedding truly stunning.

Jen and her team are magic makers. The ceremony and reception floral decor they did for my wedding at Hartley Botanica was enchanting and more beautiful than anything I could have dreamt of. I highly recommend this company to help take your vision to reality perfection.

Jen and her staff were so accommodating! Easy-going, but professional, she listened to exactly what I wanted and came through with every detail managing to help me stay within my budget along the way! Our flowers turned out absolutely stunning, dreamy and magical and really were just what I wanted! She was even accommodating with some very last minute changes and totally sweet about making them. I will say that there were some e-mails that took a long time to get returned and some that went un-answered, but we got married in the busiest part of the wedding season and I found that to be true with a lot of vendors, so I really don't hold it against them at all! The most important questions were answered which is what really matters-- I highly recommend!

We rented some very cool antique doors from Belle of the Ball, that provided the backdrop for our wedding "altar". We loved the rustic look it added to our day, and everything was smooth with delivery, set up, and pick up. They weren't cheap, but we were overall pleased with the service and communication.

I am so thrilled that i choose this company to provide my flowers. They usually dont do an event for under their minimum but made an exception for me. I asked for a bridal bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 boutonnieres, 12 table centerpieces and an aisle full of rose petals. I Also asked to rent several gold mercury glass vases for the tables. They came through with flying colors! My flowers were natural,modern, fresh and on point. I sent Jennifer several photos of what i was looking for and she executed to perfection. I saw several photos on her website and wanted what was seemed to be promised from their site. I definitely got what i wanted! They were on point, on time, professional and so helpful through it all! I highly recommend this company. Your wedding will no doubt be luxurious, romantic and high end!

Jennifer was great to work with. She regularly answered questions via email, and was able to update the contract regularly as plans changed (our ceremony moved from outdoors to indoors, so that definitely changed our order). We ordered our flowers, an escort card display, signage, and drapery from Belle of the Ball Designs, and everything was beautiful. Our whole theme was "Thank you for being a part of our story" and when I told her that, she suggested using a book display for the escort cards. I love that she cared enough to ask questions and make suggestions based on our theme and color choices. When she went to order the flowers, she emailed me photos of 5 different calla lillies and asked which one I preferred...I didn't even know there were 5 different purple calla lillies. Her attention to detail makes the big picture beautiful, and we're very appreciative of the amount of care she put into our wedding.

Jennifer and her team at Belle of the Ball Designs were just phenomenal!!! Not only did she do my flowers, but she did our furniture rentals and the rest of décor for our wedding. She was easy to work with and completely understanding throughout the entire process. Her ideas and creativity were always exactly what I wanted and she listened to everything that I said. She was responsive, attentive and reasonably priced for everything I wanted for my wedding and much more. You could not go wrong hiring Jennifer and her lovely team!

I will say that their designs are beautiful, but I'm not sure they were worth the price. We paid a lot for their services and although I loved their rentals featured in our centerpieces, it's not like we had a plethora of flowers. Our communication with the company was unsatisfactory. It took a while to get replies from our emails. I was undecided on many factors of our ceremony decorations until the final months, so maybe that added to the confusion in the several emails we sent and received. Let's just say that I was very underwhelmed by the mock-up they presented to us in the months before the wedding and from there we could tell how this experience would go.

I had no idea what I was doing when it came to flowers at my wedding. I chose Jen and team at Belle Of The Ball because they're prices were the most reasonable. When we met with her the first time, she did not make me feel stupid and gave me a lot of great ideas. She does a run through with your centerpieces before the wedding so you can make sure you're getting exactly what you want. I gave her very little direction and she blew me, and all my guests, away with gorgeous chandeliers, hanging roses and crystals, flowered design down the aisle and fantastic centerpieces! She even took care of all my candles and chalkboards--amazing! Worth every penny!

belle of the ball was the recommended florist for my wedding venue, hartley botanica. they provided the following for our "enchanted forest" wedding: bridal bouquet, toss bouquet (free), bridesmaids bouquets, wedding party corsages and boutonnieres, aisle petal flowers in a swirly design, hanging petal flowers for the ceremony altar, and table centerpieces. everything was beautiful and exactly how i imagined it would turn out. additionally, belle of the ball even helped place all my table tealight votives and candles at the guest tables. though this was not part of their duties as florist, they generously agreed to help and im sure this relieved some of the setup pressure for my coordinators. the owner, jennifer rothfield, is a very nice, professional lady. she has worked with hartley countless times and is extremely familiar with how their system runs, how/where to setup, the layout of the garden, etc etc. she made sure to contact the caterer's florist to coordinate the floral pieces at the buffet counters with the other florals. everything was as smooth as clockwork. apparently, she and the manager of hartley botanica are even good friends outside of work! though i have to admit that belle of the ball's pricing is slightly higher than other florists i spoke with, i adored their work and had nothing but the utmost confidence in their aesthetic skills and the intimate familiarity they had with hartley. moreover, jennifer was patient and willing to work with me on my prices, which helped greatly.

Jen is very creative and new work is top notch. Everything we could afford to spend on flowers came out PERFECT. She has plenty of props and vintage displays that really made our outdoor country wedding look great. Her work is awesome but dont expect to find many affordable options if you are working with a small budget.

Photos cannot even capture the beauty of what Jennifer Cooley and staff put together for our wedding on July 2, 2011. She not only worked with our budget but helped us truly create the perfect backdrop to the most memorable day of our lives. She professionally executed all the little detail and more! Not only did she match our color scheme perfectly, but we also wanted to tie in a theme that was very special to my fiance and I. Jennifer created special boutonnieres that incorporated the theme better than we ever could have imagined. She has such an amazing talent. I cherished the bridal bouquet that she created so much that I took it to Hawaii with us on our honeymoon and tossed it off a cliff! It deserved a proper burial than just the trash can. We were honored to have Jennifer and Belle of the Ball Designs as our wedding florist and HIGHLY recommend them for any event that you might have. Blessings, Kevin and Heidi
