Belles & Beaus

Currently having a nightmare of an experience dealing with them and have been told by several people that I was completely taken advantage of. I’m never one to leave bad reviews and I’m really a pushover when it comes to most things, but this is very upsetting. I have absolutely regretted choosing to buy a wedding dress from them. I try to support small businesses as much as I can but I would expect better than what I have received. This review is lengthy but I have had to make 5 extra trips out there and I feel like the details will save another bride. So long story short I go to pick up my wedding dress after dealing with alterations and there were black stains on the bottom (which definitely shouldn’t have been there since it was literally just altered...) and bright orange stains on the outside and inside of my white wedding dress. I never wore makeup either time I tried the dress on, so I know it wasn’t from me and I can’t find the bright orange stain on the thigh area in any of the pictures from the day I bought it. I called to check on it and the girl on the phone told me it looked brand new again. I get there and you can still see the stains (they did get almost all the black out of the bottom and the others weren’t quite as bright but still visible). They, in their words, “cleaned it for me for free.” Like that’s not what should have been done? And I was told, “Well you can barely see them.” I paid over $1000 (taxes included) for this dress... there shouldn’t be a stain on it. They also can’t tell me where my veil is that I asked about Wednesday of last week and by Saturday they still never contacted the company to ask. I have to contact Monday to see if they called. Dealing with alterations was a whole different headache. My appointment was forgot (no biggie), never received a call about my dress being done until the day of asking me, “Hey are you going to come pick up your dress today?”, I was told they closed at 5 so I had to scramble and rearrange my day just to get there at 4:09 to locked doors. The owner opened the door to tell me they were closed and the alterations girl came to the front to say she’d be there Wednesday or Saturday. I went to work late to get there at 11 Wednesday and she wasn’t there. I had to come back and that’s when I asked about the stains on my dress. She told me she noticed them and tried to get them out with Shout but couldn’t. She also said to wait until the week of the wedding and they could probably get them out when they steamed the dress. I take the dress, get halfway to work then realize I didn’t have my veil. I pulled over to look in my bag and that’s when I saw the black stains. I called and they told me to get my dress there ASAP so I turned around. Just in that one day I had to make three trips there.

I am so thankful that we chose Belles & Beaus! Not only are the dresses beautiful & affordable, the experience there is above average. I felt understood and important the whole time I was there. Haley was an amazing help and so kind.
