My husband and I were glad we had Meghna and the Bells N Rings team during our planning process and wedding day. Meghna was always ensuring ongoing communication and phone conference calls at our convenience around busy work schedules, which we greatly appreciated. Her thorough and detail-oriented approach leading up to the wedding day really helped plan every part of the day because she made sure we did not overlook critical logistical aspects. Her knowledge regarding the planning process was always evident, she was helpful with all our questions, ideas and even helping suggest vendors, like our DJ/MC which was definitely a highlight for the event. Meghna was able to adapt and work with us even when we had a major ceremony venue change only a few weeks before the wedding, which worked out as she had already anticipated and made a back up plan timeline for the day, allowing us to have less stress about the big planning change. On the wedding day, Meghna's team was punctual, supportive, and kept the day running on schedule as much as possible. I remember having Meghna and her team members checking on me and being part of the calm while getting ready during an overwhelming morning, even making sure I ate something and the vendors kept on track. As a planner, Meghna was very accessible via phone, email and she made sure to promptly reply, she made a few hour drive to come for in-person venue visits as well. Meghna and her team are beyond amazing!! My husband, Sanjay, and I got engaged at the end of 2017 and started planning a multi day, fusion wedding: Catholic Vietnamese (me) and Hindu Indian (Sanjay) in Long Island, NY with Meghna helping us balance all the cultural and religious requirements and negotiating with all the various vendors we needed. After almost a year of planning, due to family drama... Sanjay and I made the difficult decision to cancel the entire wedding and we were both devastated. Through it all, Meghna was there. She became more than just our planner as she worked hard to help us start all over again from scratch to replan the wedding. Her emotional and moral support helped us through the drama. Within a few short weeks, we had locked in a new venue in New York City and most of the vendors we needed for our wedding. She helped us navigate the tricky process of closing down a small street in NYC for Sanjay’s Baraat and all the small details that made our wedding week special. When our final check to the florist was lost in the mail and they threatened to cancel our flowers a day before the Catholic ceremony, Meghna went to the bank branch to deposit the money directly to the florist and to reprimand and call him out for threatening us in the middle of our wedding week! She planned a secret trip with my fiancé to NJ to help him create the mangalsutra necklace he had specially designed to give me during the Hindu ceremony. She made sure we didn’t miss or forget any small religious and cultural details for our wedding. She was on our side every step of the way and we couldn’t sing her praises enough. Meghna was a lifesaver and an integral part of the success of our wedding week. She gave precise and well structured timelines for our wedding... and when there were last minute changes to the timing, she adjusted and adapted everything smoothly and efficiently. All the vendors she suggested, from the caterer to the hair + make up team we’re phenomenal and we all got along so well with everyone as each vendor cared about the success and happiness of our event (with the exception of the florist, the owner fired our original coordinator and tried to renege on our contract until Meghna put her foot down). When all is said and done, she pretty much planned our wedding twice! Meghna and her team did their best to ensure that our wedding week was everything we wanted and hoped for despite the rocky start and family drama. My wedding day was stress-free because of Meghna and her team, especially considering we had done most of our planning from several states away. Throughout the planning process, Meghna was able to anticipate and troubleshoot any problems that came up and help my husband and I understand what we wanted from our wedding in the first place. Meghna and her team planned our dream wedding in only 5 months – we definitely could not have done it without her! Bells ‘N Rings was a good fit for us versus planners who mainly focus on big-ticket Indian weddings as although we wanted a similar elegant wedding, we wanted a smaller gathering with only one day of events without spending $100k, all of which we achieved with Bells ‘N Rings. We were not sure that we could get a classy venue on a Saturday within the year, but after hiring Bells ‘N Rings, we did! Meghna’s turnover is very quick; in less than a week after payment, she had a shortlist of venues available within the next few months. She quickly returns all messages as well. She can answer questions that can arise in the planning process, such as how long RSVP dates can be extended, whether decorations will be needed in the cocktail hall, and exactly how many hours to book cinematography for. She will point out things that clients can be unaware of, such as the need to schedule a meeting to ascertain if the Gurudwara will be available, planning a table arrangement for the reception ballroom, writing a timeline for wedding events, or suggesting a photo backdrop. She goes on all vendor appointments with clients and does not take commission from vendors. The vendors she refers clients to are very good and the same used by the most elite Indian wedding planners. Bells ‘N Rings is a very good value. Staff members will come the day of the wedding for coordination and not only do things like MC your reception or bring the bride and groom breakfast, but even small details that can help like getting espresso coffee for the bride before the ceremony or holding the flower bouquet for the bride as to have it ready for photos. Guests said that our wedding was very well organized. The Bells ‘N Rings team only commits to one wedding per day, which ensures the best service. If you are like me and know what you want for your wedding, I recommend this company. Many months after getting married, I am still spend time admiring my wedding photos and video as it was any bride’s dream come true, all made possible by Bells ‘N Rings.

Meghna helped us plan the wedding of our dreams in about 4.5 months! Due to a ill family member, we decided to move up our wedding from August to January. We are a Jewish-Indian couple, and we wanted a wedding that would somehow fitsboth of our needs and satisfy our families and two cultures. Meghna was up to the challenge! She started moving very quickly after we hired her. I am Jewish--and felt well out of my comfort zone picking Indian vendors. She sent me lists of some of the best in each vendor category--DJ, decorator, hair/makeup, photographer, videographer, etc. and then she would help us narrow down the list. This was tremendously helpful, as my husband and I are both resident physicians, and had zero time on our hands to call vendors in the middle of the day. Meghna AND her team were most exceptional when it came down to the last 1-2 weeks before the wedding, as well as, the day of the wedding. She started calling me almost everyday the week before the wedding to check in regarding tiny details. The morning of our wedding--her and her team were intimately involved in every detail. She kept both of our families in line on our wedding day--making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be on time. We had two separate ceremonies in one day--and WE KNOW it would never have been possible without Meghna.

Our wedding would literally not have been possible without Meghna! We hired Meghna two years before our wedding and it was the first and BEST decision we made! Its been about two and a half weeks since our wedding and we still cant believe its over. We hired Meghna for her Full Planning Services from start to finish about a year from our wedding. It was the first decision we made and it was one of the best ones. I only have good things to say about Bells N Rings Events. My husband and I, got the complete planning and coordination package for our wedding last weekend. Meghna and her team were immensely helpful every step of the way! In spite of our tight budget, Meghna was able to help us to secure the services of high quality vendors. Her team is extremely detail-oriented which helped us create a vision for our wedding and ensured all the vendors were aligned with this vision. On the day of the wedding, we had some last-minute confusion with the arrival time for the priest while I was busy getting my hair and makeup done for the wedding. Meghna is an amazing wedding planner/coordinator! We hired her as an event day coordinator literally 2 weeks before our wedding. Despite such little time she did a phenomenal job. She even met with the venue manager and the decorator with me one final time before the big day. All vendors were coordinated flawlessly. She worked with us to make a very detailed itinerary of our big day. She made sure we thought about things that were important which we didn't even realize until she asked us. We hired Meghna's services to help plan and co-ordinate a pre wedding event and our reception party and I couldn't have been more satisfied with how everything turned out. As a vendor (Makeup By Shaili), I am pretty picky about the vendors I chose for my big day. Being in the bridal business, I had done MANY weddings with Meghna before my big day, and I knew she was my match! She is professional and punctual and kept me on track (which was much needed lol). There are a million things to prepare for before your big day, and I wouldn’t have been prepared for half of them without her. She made sure my day ran smoothly. Even when things went wrong (with my venue), I never knew about it because she took care of it before it even got to me! Wow! The BEST PLANNER EVER! We started working with Meghna a year and half before our wedding and from that day on until the end of our wedding day, she was there every step of the way! Not a day went by when we didn’t hear from her, even if it was just a text that read, “Checking in”. Meghna helped us source all our vendors – all 24 of them reviewed all the contracts before we signed, managed all the vendors on our behalf, made sure we stayed within our budget and she did all this without hesitation. No request was too big or small; she delivered everything we wanted and more! Thank you for your diligence and most importantly for being a friend throughout the process! On the day of the wedding THE ENTIRE TEAM was AMAZING! Every little detail was executed to perfection and they definitely exceeded our expectations. If anyone were to describe me as a person, it would be a Type A personality, stickler about time and very particular. Meghna was successful in making sure everything on my wedding day not just matched but exceeded my expectations - which is a feat in itself for someone as particular as me. Everything from the first look to the vidaai started and ended on time. The cocktail hour and reception flowed seamlessly thanks to Meghna and her team's organization. Everything was organized to perfection, they were always following up with the family members to ensure everyone was present whenever they were needed. I don't think there was any point in the day when one of her team members was not present near us in case we needed them. They made sure everything matched up to what we wanted while checking in at all times to see if we needed anything. Even the vendors recommended by Meghna were incredible to work with. Even though Meghna did not plan the pre-wedding events, we used the same vendors, that she had recommended for wedding, for the pre-wedding events as well. They were great and worked with us to give us what we wanted, thanks to Meghna's recommendation. Meghna and the Bells N Rings team are extremely professional, great to work with and without a doubt the best investment we made for our wedding.

We could not thank Meghna and her team enough. From day one discussing venues and vendor selections to the actual wedding itself Meghna provided spreadsheets and timelines and kept us on track through the entire process. My husband and I had a weekend replete with wedding events. And we were very thankful to have Meghna and Bells N Rings Events with us for the journey. Meghna is very thorough, and she is able to execute things very capably. But what also greatly impressed us was the way she was able to anticipate what our needs would be before and during the days of our events. And that is truly what we found so valuable in a wedding planner/coordinator. Because of her, we did not have lots of stress, sweat, and drama relating to the organization, timing, or flow during our events. We were able to just fully enjoy ourselves and each part of our wedding. At one point during the reception, I realized I had left my purse outside when our videographer asked us to pose for a moment just before the reception. I was just about to panic and ask Meghna if someone could see if it was still there, and she responded that the purse was already at my table waiting for me. Yay! Throughout the events, she went the extra mile and I felt well-taken care of by her and her staff, as she checked in regularly with me to see if I needed anything. She also checked in regularly before the days leading up to the wedding weekend, to see if I needed anything or had any questions. One thing to mention about Bells N Rings and Meghna's thoroughness . . . during the planning process, she had detailed questions for us and spreadsheets to fill out about our events. At the time it seemed like a lot, but planning a wedding takes work. And once the events came around, we were very thankful we had had those spreadsheets, b/c they addressed everything that one could think of relating to the wedding, the order in which things should run, the people involved, etc. I just wish I hadn't procrastinated so much on filling them out, because she did give me sufficient time in which to look through and complete them. The best decision we made was bring on Meghna as our wedding planner for our big day! We could not have gotten through the wedding planning process and the wedding day without her! We got engaged in April 2015 (married in April 2016), and when we started planning for our big day, we quickly realized that there was so much about the process that we did not know. Thank goodness for Meghna – within the first week of bringing her on, she sent us detailed questionnaires to fill out to that allowed her to understand the kind of wedding we envisioned. She helped us choose all our vendors – caterer, photographer, videographer, hair and makeup, decorator, etc. She reviewed all of our vendor options with us and went over the pros and cons of each particular vendor. She reviewed all the contracts, and if something didn’t seem right she quickly addressed it with that particular vendor. She also came with us to all the meeting with vendors, expertly guiding us on what questions to ask, what to watch out for, etc. She guided /helped us do everything from coming up with a great menu for our big day to helping us to decide colors for our mandap to making a detailed timeline for our big day and everything in between! On our wedding day we were not stressed or worried at all, because we knew Meghna was there and she knew every detail about our big day. Our wedding day was perfect. Meghna and her team were with us all day, making sure everything was set up the way it should be, making sure things occurred on time as planned, etc. The entire day went smoothly and was perfectly executed. Since Meghna and her team where there to coordinate, our families didn’t have to worry about those details and were able to enjoy themselves and focus on our guests. We hired Meghna for our Wedding Ceremony day coordination in July. We planned our Wedding details and selected vendors on our own. But, Meghna helped us pull everything together. She crafted a very detailed timeline for the day, which she distributed to all of our vendors. The timeline helped us ensure that family members and the bridal party were on time. Meghna’s staff checked up on us to make sure we all okay and if we needed anything. Everything went smoothly, even though our priest was sick and sent a replacement, which Meghna helped to sort out. We hired Meghna for coordination of the day services for our traditional Indian wedding this past June (finally getting a chance to write a well thought out review)! Although we did the venue and vendor selections on our own, Meghna was definitely the glue that held it all together and made our wedding day flow seamlessly! She started communication with us about 3 months prior to the wedding, coaching us through the logistics and many parts of the wedding/reception that we never would've thought of on our own. We had phone conferences with her during the weeks leading up to the wedding, as well as an in-person meeting with her and our venue staff a week before the wedding to discuss all details of the whole wedding day. Meghna formulated an easy-to-follow timeline for all of our vendors and reached out to all of them prior to the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page. We, along with our family and bridal party members, found the timeline to be extremely helpful for our reference as well. On the day of the wedding, Meghna was in the bridal suite, right on time early in the morning, checking in on the bride as she was getting her hair and makeup done. From then on, she was running the show! Meghna and her staff made sure the vendors were set up on time in the morning and were staying on track, according to the timeline, all throughout the day. Her and her staff made sure that the bride & groom/bridal party/family members were ready on time, and in the right place at the right time (for pictures, for baraat, for formal entrances, etc). They made sure that the guests (crowd of 350 people) were directed into the right room at the right time. They made sure all of our personal touches (ceremony programs on every other chair, Instagram signs, signature cocktail signs, etc.). Every part of the baraat, wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception went right on time with no interruptions, which for an Indian wedding, is usually impossible! In about a year, Meghna helped us find and meet our vendors for video, decorations, makeup, mehendi, and coordinated our day. She provided a number of options that fit our budget, and was able to coordinate our visits to the vendors even though we were not living in NJ. She is very good at vendor contract negotiation (my venue contract was 2 pages but her attention to detail added ELEVEN pages of addendum to the base contract). She works around your schedule as much as she can and for critical meetings she will even step-up and go even if you can't make it. Leading up to the wedding her attention to detail and ability to keep you organized is impressive. She really earns her keep on the wedding day. You absolutely need a wedding planner, throughout if possible, but definitely on your wedding day. We hired Bells n Rings Events approximately 1 year prior to our wedding. After searching in the NJ/NY area for wedding planners/coordinators, Meghna provided us a very reasonable price for the services she offered. She tried to be available for most of the venue/vendor appointments and we appreciated that she did much of the negotiating for us. Also, given both our busy schedules, it was helpful that she could do much of the "middle man" work that can be time consuming. In the weeks prior to our wedding, she brought things together in terms of creating a timeline, and working out all the little details of the wedding day. On the wedding day, Meghna and her team came together to ensure our timeline was held to, and was able to direct wedding guests, family, and wedding party as needed. All members of the team were professional, courteous and kind. Having Meghna there alleviated much stress and allowed both of our families to enjoy the day.

I've just returned from our honeymoon and am thinking back on the time I spent working with Meghna at Bells N Rings on planning my wedding festivities. I think hiring a wedding planner is a great idea if it's within your budget and I would recommend trying Bells N Rings for your event. Meghna has years of experience working on weddings and with vendors and it shows as she is quite professional. The day of the wedding went pretty smoothly with one tiny hiccup which I think is pretty amazing seeing that we had a 250+ plus wedding in Manhattan. Her staff was courteous and prompt and she made it a point to make me relax and enjoy my big day!

Planning an 800 people wedding was not easy at all, and being the first in the family to get married we had a lot of questions and many things we were unaware of. As I had a mixed Indian/Western style wedding, I planned a dual ceremony that Meghna and her team ensured went smoothly on the day of. Having Meghna and her team help plan our wedding from day 1 was the best investment I could have made for our wedding. She and her team went above and beyond throughout the process from planning and selecting vendors, to helping me negotiate with vendors, and even going to vendor locations with me! We hired Meghna to help plan our multicultural wedding. My husband and I both worked everyday, 12 hours a day and Meghna was our lifesaver in planning our special day! My husband is Indian/Hindu and I am Filipino/Catholic so we definitely needed someone knowledge in both cultures to help guide us through all our planning. Meghna was professional, extremely helpful, and always available to us. To make us feel comfortable she met both sets of parents soon after we hired her and she also went to most of our vendor appointments. She had many vendor recommendations and useful experiences that helped us with decisions we made throughout the planning process. We hired Meghna of Bells N Rings for day of coordinator for our wedding this past Labor Day. Overall we are very happy with her work. She was very organized and more importantly she helped us get organized. She had good ideas and was available to meet us as many times as we wanted to get comfortable. As soon as we signed her on, she emailed all our vendors and introduced herself and took over as the point person for many of the things. She is very easy going and a pleasure to work with. On our wedding day she wasn’t feeling well, but I had no idea and she did not miss a beat. There were definitely a few hiccups on our wedding day, but she did a great job managing them without bringing us in. She gave us her honest opinion every time we asked and many times we took it, but even in instances that we chose to do something differently, she was 100% on board. Overall my wife and I were very happy with Meghna and without a doubt would hire her again. We actually wished we had hired her earlier. We only hired her a month before our wedding and by then we had done a lot of heaving lifting on our own.
