Had an absolutely incredible experience with the entire Bellyful crew. People raved on and on about how fabulous the food was at our wedding and I have to agree! We went through all the details about a week before the wedding and then I was able to enjoy the day with my friends and family without any issues! I will note that sometimes there seemed to be a lapse in communication a few months before the wedding, likely to their very busy schedules but none of this was seen within the last month prior which made my stress level decrease tremendously! So happy to have them there for our big day and even happier to have the leftovers to keep enjoying!

We hired Bellyful and while communication at the beginning was a little slow (I'm pretty type A over here) Abby and her team were great! We had so many food/dessert/beverage options, available add ons, and she was very flexible and helpful. The day of our wedding she and her team were incredibly wonderful. My day of coordinator said they wouldn't have survived without their help! They always had smiles on their faces and the food and service was fantastic! Most definitely would work with Abby and Bellyful again. Thank you again for everything!

We heard so many great things about Bellyful Catering and they were on our venue's recommended list (and even other venues' lists!) so we contacted them. Abby West was wonderful and set up a tasting for us. The food was amazing and we knew we wanted to go with them right away. They were so patient with all our questions and Abby's assistant, Jamie, was always so pleasant to communicate with. I didn't have a worry in the world about the food the day of my wedding and the food was spectacular. Everyone raved about how good everything was and the spread we had. Not only that, but their food was AMAZING! My husband and I heard “this is literally the best wedding food I’ve had,” more times than we can count. The salmon was absolutely mouth watering. Bellyful was amazing to work with all around! Throughout our planning process Abby was more than willing to answer the endless questions we had and was always extremely patient and accommodating to all of our (many) adjustments. :) Everyone loved the food our guests RAVED about the charcuterie table spread of appetizers! We 110% would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing wedding caterer!

Abby and her team did an amazing job for our wedding and we were so happy with how everything turned out. We were so impressed with Bellyful we hired them for the rehearsal dinner and bridal shower as well. They were all so professional and accommodating with all the changes in menu and the amount of people throughout the planning process. The salted caramel brownies are the best I've ever had.

When my then fiancé and I met Abby for our initial tasting we were blown away! We didn’t even bother to check out other catering vendors. They were very prompt to respond to my questions and super easy to work with. I’m not kidding when I say the food was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of our 2021 summer wedding. Multiple people told me the cedar plank salmon was some of the best they have ever had and were asking me if I knew some of the recipes for the side dishes! When searching for a caterer for our big day we set up 2 tastings, one with Abby and one with another local catering business. It was the easiest pick to go with Bellyful Catering. Everything they put out is delicious and fresh. We raved about our tasting for days and couldn't wait to enjoy it for the second time on our big day. After the wedding, all my guests asked where we found our caterer and how they can get ahold of them, because like us they were also blown away by how amazing the food was. Thank you Abby and team for serving up amazing food - we so appreciate it!

Abby was amazing to work with from the moment we talked over email! She was so helpful and understanding when it came to questions (especially when planning during 2020). We loved being able to do a tasting with her before the wedding and let me tell you, the food was AMAZING! Everyone raved about how delicious the food was. We are so happy that we worked with Bellyful Catering! 10/10 recommend to anyone in the Portland area!

We had 2 tastings with Abby and loved everything she prepared! It was so hard to choose what we wanted to serve because everything we tasted was delicious! We had buffet style at our wedding and everything was presented beautifully! All of our guests raved about the food we had (this was one of my biggest concerns about having a wedding- seems like every wedding I've been to, people complain about the food!) and even request to have some of our left overs because of how good it was! We had lots of left overs and it was really sweet that Abby donated a lot of the left over food to a homeless shelter (after asking us of course!). My dad asked me after my wedding if the lady working the catering was Abby (it was!) and commented on how sweet she was and said he was very impressed with her and the rest of her crew! Definitely recommend Bellyful for any catering needs!

Abby the owner of Bellyful Catering Co. is wonderful to work with and I highly recommend her services. She is very knowledgeable, experienced and so trustworthy to make your event perfect. I am so grateful we chose her as a caterer for our daughters' wedding. She didn't freak out in the midst of planning during a pandemic but she was super- flexible, of calm demeanor and so understanding. She really wants the customer to be happy. That being said, her food was fresh, hot, plentiful and lastly sooooo delicious. We had great feedback that everyone loved it for our large wedding. We had the Prosciutto Chicken, the pork tenderloin with marionberry sauce, the asparagus, roasted red potatoes, pear salad and her fresh Charcuterie was perfect and fresh for the guests between ceremony and dinner time. My favorites were the pear salad and the chicken but everything else was amazing as well. Everything was cooked perfectly and timely and everyone was well fed. She and her team are hard working and professional and helped creatively serve our large wedding well in the crazy summer of 2020. I will definitely utilize her business again.

I am delighted to share with the reader my wedding experiences with the catering services of Abby West, owner of Bellyful Catering in greater Portland, Oregon. First, I have rarely met a more pleasant person than Abby West to help me plan and implement our mid-September 2020 wedding for our daughter. Abby was available by phone and e-mail whenever we needed to make a change to menu items and timing. Second, my daughter was hoping that our wedding menu, over two days, could be prepared on-site. Abby and Michelle delivered wonderfully, including using the kitchen and barbecue grill at the wedding home to ensure that our guests received their food exactly to their tastes. Third, no menu detail is too small or unimportant for Abby and her staff. In our case, the Grandfather of the bride is gluten intolerant. For Sunday brunch, Abby prepared a cornucopia of fresh baked gluten free pastries. She also included a handwritten sign, “Baked for Grandpa Ken” that made our patriarch feel very special. Fourth, during these COVID times, Abby and Michelle wore full face masks at all times. I appreciated this and so did our guests. I also appreciated Abby taking full responsibility for cleaning up after each serving – one less thing to worry about!! Fifth, the price quote, for the two days of multiple menus that I approved was itemized and the final invoice was exactly the same amount. I am very impressed with Abby’s financial planning skills to allow her to deliver on her pricing commitments. In closing, for your special wedding day, I highly recommend the menu planning, price estimating and implementation skills of Abby West and her accomplished staff at Bellyful Catering Company!

Our guests are still talking about the caterer from my daughter's wedding 4 months later. Bellyful Catering was amazing to work with Abby and her husband were both awesome. When my daughter went to her food sampling she knew right away that Bellyful was exactly what she wanted. It was absolutely perfect both the Rehearsal and Wedding Dinner. Our grazing table was just a sight - beautiful cheeses, fruits and meats. The Salmon with lemon aioli and the Chicken was cooked to perfection. Definitely COVID safe.

Abby and her crew at Bellyful Catering were absolutely fabulous. Having a wedding during a global pandemic is not something that anyone has had to deal with before, but Abby made it work flawlessly. Yes things had to be adjusted, but we still got to enjoy every fabulous aspect of our catering package. One of my favorite things was how transparent she is - all of her prices and fees are listed on her website. I am so grateful for Abby and her crew, our dinner was delicious and served safely. We have heard from almost every guest that her pork was the best they have ever had. Thank you for jumping through every hoop that 2020 has thrown at you, and thank you for making our day so wonderful!

We had approximately 100 guests at The Water Oasis wedding venue in Newberg, Oregon. We were very happy with Bellyful Catering and received many compliments from our Wedding guests on the food and service provided by Abby and her team. The food was amazing, and the price was reasonable, especially considering what was included in our chosen package. The best thing about it is that they cook/grill the meat onsite, so everything smelled amazing and was fresh! We chose the Cedar Plank Salmon, and Flank Steak package, it was wonderful! Would definitely recommend them and use them again without hesitation.

Seriously the best catering company ever! Abby was super kind and helpful in creating the perfect meal option for us. Their prices are super reasonable, and they offer a huge variety of different food options creating an almost limitless menu variety. Even though we didn't get to see our appetizer tray, we heard several guests talk about how beautiful and delicious it was. And the dinner was amazing. It was beautifully presented, well maintained, and bursting with flavor. And even though we didn't have hot wings as part of our menu, Abby went out of her way to create a small plateful for my husband because she understood just how much he loves wings! The staff also got our plates all set up and filled with food so that they were all ready for us at the head table. That way we didn't have to go through the buffet line. Seriously, this caterer is phenomenal, and you guys will not regret hiring them.

Bellyful Catering went above and beyond our expectations! They were on time and very professional. The food was amazing. Even though we didn't get to see our appetizer setup, our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing it looked. The main course and desserts were delicious and the service was outstanding. Wow. Wow. Wow. There aren't enough words to explain how amazing Abby and her team is as what they do! Our initial meeting included a sample of two possible dinner options and they were absolutely FANTASTIC, I figured that our actual wedding dinner would still be really good but definitely not as great since cooking a single portion for two is much different than catering for 120. Well I was wrong, so so wrong! Our wedding day came and the food was just as amazing. The tenderloin was melt in your mouth tender and the halibut was moist and flakey. We only got to see pictures of the appetizer arrangement, which was absolutely gorgeous and looked so delicious. Our guests must have thought so too, because it was demolished by the time we came in for our grand entrance! We got so many compliments on the food, and it was all we ate the next few days until we left on our honeymoon. I wish I could hire Abby to cater all my life events, and I am so happy I picked her to cater our wedding. Her pricing system is straight forward and makes it easy to know exactly what your catering cost is going to be, an aspect of her business I really appreciated. No surprise fees! Please book Abby for any of your catering needs, you won’t regret it! It will some of the best food you’ll ever have!

Abby and her team are incredible! Abby was very easy to work with through the entire planning process and had so many great ideas to help us with our final menu decision. On the day of, she got their earlier than expected and created an absolutely beautiful display of our dessert table and buffet. Her staff was professional and was on top of any issue that arose (such as needing to refill cups at the cup station, etc). I could not recommend Bellyful Catering enough!

Abby West exceeded all of our expectations catering our daughter's wedding. Abby's appetizer display was truly beautiful. The food was outstanding and we are still getting compliments about how delicious it was a month after the wedding. Abby is incredible. she was available to talk and brainstorm at anytime I needed it. she was able to make my vision come true. she is creative and able to display food beautifully and it all takes amazing. her desserts are mouth watering and her food is delicious and fresh. everything looked and tasted amazing at my wedding. she is priced reasonably for her work and quality. she is a small business but can take on great tasks. If I need a caterer for anything else she will be the first person I call. Thanks for making my dreams come true on my big day and for being so patient and willing to work with me. Abby and the Bellyful Catering crew are simply the best. We had a lot of crazy moments dealing with vendors leading up to our wedding, but Abby was always someone we could trust to get things done. Throughout the planning stage, she was prompt to respond to questions and always had answers. On top of being trustworthy, her food is DELICIOUS! Our guests have repeatedly told us that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. We did a pre-ceremony cocktail hour and had Abby do a cheese and charcuterie board... it was a work of ART. So many people took photos and continue to tell us how beautiful it was. The crab cakes, steak with chimichurri, salmon, orzo pasta... I could go on and on. There wasn't a single thing we would have changed. I want to recommend Abby for all of my friends weddings so I can continue to eat her food.

Abby (owner) was our primary contact through the entire process. She was great to work with from the very start and listened to all of our desires regarding catering! From our first tasting to the day-of, we felt confident in Abby's ability to deliver an awesome meal our guests would enjoy. The venue was outdoors in a remote area with no kitchen access which was an initial concern, but Abby reassured us that the food would be cooked onsite and of the highest quality for our 240 guests, and they definitely delivered! The whole team was professional, attentive, and the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend Bellyful to anyone needing catering in the Portland metro area.

Abby and her entire staff were absolutely incredible!! The food was even better than we expected...our guests could not say enough about the appetizers and the entire wedding dinner. Abby was perfectly on time, professional, and was actually the heart of helping us keep this wedding happy and right on schedule. The food was great! All our guests raved about the many delicious bread options we had available. And the meatballs were fantastic!! They even packed up all our left overs for us. So glad we picked Bellyful to cater our wedding!

We went with Abby because when we went to the tasting kitchen, her food was excellent....well prepared and flavorful and also, she had great package options, very reasonably priced and without a lot of the nickel-and-diming that a lot of catering companies do. Most things I needed were already included and we didn't have to add a lot on. I also appreciate that her service fee was reasonable (15%) compared to others' 18% or so. The catering arrived in a timely manner and was ready in a timely manner. I got a lot of compliments from guests on the food and the presentation was very nice. I like that Abby takes leftovers after the reception is done (and with your permission to do so of course) to various charity organizations/shelters. If every vendor did this, we could do a lot of good in the world. My one "opportunity for improvement" would be more timely communication since it could sometimes take awhile to get responses to emails or messages left, but I also know it was her busy season and everything else was great so I can't complain much. At the end of the day, I was very glad I went with this catering company and would definitely use them again for another function.

We had our wedding catered by Bellyful back in September and it was amazing! I would give them four stars on communication, but keep in mind that I contacted them at the peak of wedding season and I figured they would be busy with other weddings. Five stars for sure on the food. Everyone at my wedding enjoyed it. Portion sizes were great and service was amazing. I would 100% recommend them to anyone getting married in the area!

Bellyful Catering was amazing! Abby is the absolute best. She was so accommodating, kind, and full of great ideas. We had a lot of questions and Abby always got back to us within a short time and was endlessly patient with us as we worked through the menu to create our dream meal! She went above and beyond with her professionalism and we are so thankful we chose her as our caterer. Abby is 5 stars. She knew our venue and created the perfect meal for us. Guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and kept telling us it was the best wedding food they had ever had! For her prices and what you get cannot he matched and we would hire her again in a second for any other events that might pop up in the future!

I am not exaggerating. One of the first things guests told us after our wedding was how amazing our food was! We had the cedar plank salmon and chicken Dijon, and everything tasted incredible. Abby was amazing from the start. She gave us a variety of food to choose from, and made sure all of our needs/wants were met. The minute we tasted her food we booked her! Abby worked with us directly to schedule tastings and to customize a menu that our guests loved and that represented the best of Oregon cuisine. It was absolutely delicious, and the entire staff was kind, prompt and genuinely cared about how our wedding turned out. We would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone.

Abby catered both our rehearsal dinner and our reception for our wedding and the food was amazing. Our families are big "foodies" and really take our food seriously. My husband's family is from Wisconsin and they loved all of the cheese selections. My only gripe was that she was a little difficult to get ahold of at times and I would have wished for a quicker response. Other than that, the food and service the day of was spot on and there wasn't much leftovers. Highly recommend!

Abby and her team were AMAZING! I could not have asked for better at our wedding. We had SO MANY compliments on the food, I don't think one person left without telling us how much they enjoyed it. Abby and her team at Divine Occassions Catering rock. We were catered for our wedding on 2/12/17. Her food was phenomenal. All our guests loved the food. Context: We had a blended wedding, where I am from Indian origins and my wife is American. For our catering, we wanted our food pallettes to be blended similar to our cultures. So we planned a mix of Indian food - palak paneer, naan, samosas and comfort food - winter salad, mac n cheese and fried chicken. As a testimony to her awesome cooking, the samosas she baked as appetizers for us ran out before I (groom) could even get a chance to taste them. People complemented about her lemon bars as well, and were ever so curious to get the recipe. Abby's quote was also very very reasonable as compared to all the other caterers we had spoken with. She even provided us with a complementary food tasting prior to making any payments, so we can be certain that her food gets us excited. After the wedding when we had some food left over, she even agreed to box them up for us so it doesn't go wasted. We found it to be very easy to work with her, and customize our menu based on our tasting with her. I will give her 5 stars for excellent food, punctuality, excellent bartender services and overall satisfaction of all my guests with the catering. The only feedback I have is that given she is so busy with events lined up all through the year, and she takes the effort to prepare the food herself on most occasions while responding to customers, responses can be a bit delayed if you're used to same day replies.

Divine Occasions is THE vendor to book for wedding catering. Not only are they affordable but the food is INCREDIBLE! From our first meeting and tasting Abby was great to work with. I about died when I tried the first bite of food from our tasting, and ever since was so excited to eat it again at our wedding. We went with the beef tenderloin and chicken hollandaise with roasted red potatoes, green beans and salad. She cooked the food on site and even plated out food for myself and my Groom so we didn't have to go through the buffet line. I have had so many compliments on the food, many people saying it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Book Abby West and Divine Occasions for your wedding!

I had an amazing experience with Abby and her people from beginning to end at Divine Occasions Catering. I would give them 6 stars if I could! From Abby arranging for us to try some of her food in the industrial kitchen next to her home, to making us two kinds of new chicken recipes a few months later to take home in tupperware to try out (we couldn't decide on one of her current chicken recipes so she made two others once she added new recipes to her site), to knowing that one of the ovens at our wedding location (Troutdale House) ran hotter than the other...I could go on forever! We paid for a lot of the wedding ourselves and Abby worked with us to keep out costs manageable. Rather than get ALL of the flatware/dishware for an extra $10 per person, we figured out the bare minimum we would need for each person and added $1 fee for cleaning up the plates! We ended up only spending an extra $3 per person, it was awesome. She was so great to work with that we decided to get our bartender through Divine Occasions, too - it was so easy to have all of that done through one person. We paid about $4200 for EVERYTHING for about 130 people. When I did my research on other caterers (or the required ones at places like the Abernathy), you're looking at like $80 a plate or more and a ton of fees...for 130 people you're looking at $12,000. Abby was a smoking deal! The food was amazing, our costs included table service AND a bartender! The service was amazing during the reception...the food was to die for! One of my pickiest friends had TWO plates of food! Everyone was talking about how great every thing was (we did the pesto chicken dish and the steak). The cheese/fruit tower appetizer was demolished, in good way. :) I also want to add that on our very first visit with her, she gave us tons of advice around our wedding in general (how much alcohol you might need for X guests, insurance, etc) that was extremely helpful. And that was all for free. I could not recommend them more!! One more - being a Portlander, there was one other thing that drew me to Divine Occasions (other than they are a local small business), they have an option to donate the leftover food to a homeless shelter, offering to drop it off after the reception. What? I'll never forget her saying that reheating some of the meat and veggies isn't the greatest as leftovers, but you sure can do a lot with all of it in a soup. She even let keep a few boxes of leftovers and took the rest to the shelter. Obviously this is a long review. :) I wouldn't change a thing about working with Abby and her team! Thank you!! Sierra

Abby catered my August wedding and her food blew my mind! The salmon entree was to die for (the pork one was excellent, too, but it paled in comparison because the salmon was just THAT good). Her buffet setup was efficient. The macaroni and cheese kids' food bar was a great addition to the main dinner buffet-- it was suited towards our younger guests' tastes and was cheaper than feeding them the full meal. She was easy to work with since she responded to emails promptly.

We had a wonderful experience! All 60 of our guests raved about the food and service! We couldn't have been happier! If we have another event in the future in the same area we will certainly call in Devine Occasions again! Thank You

At first meeting, Abby West, the head caterer, served my fiance & me steak. I guess you could say it was love at first taste! Everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and Abby herself was fantastic! She was SO flexible with what we wanted, and our wedding was pretty far out of PDX, yet she was willing to drive & help us on the most amazing day of our lives. We got SO many compliments on the food, and Abby was perfect on the day of. She made sure my husband and I got something to eat (which is surprisingly easy for the bride & groom to forget that day!) , and was graceful & attentive throughout the night. If we were ever to have another big event like that, I would hire her and this company again in an instant. I also have been actively recommending her/her company to all of my friends. We just cannot speak highly enough of Divine Occasions!!!

I chose my title for this review as The Best because I can not even count how many of our guests came up to me and said that it was the best food they had ever had! We went with the wedding option which was a little more expensive but value wise, it was well worth it! The food really was delicious and plentiful. Abby was very nice to work with and was able to accommodate our venue out in Stevenson, WA and make sure rentals were taken at the end of the evening. When it decided to rain we had to quickly change from having the wedding take place outdoors to inside at the tables set up for the dinner. The three ladies worked around our scurrying in a efficient and professional way. It was SO nice to know that they were taking care of whatever had to happen to pull off this wedding. At the end of the evening Abby and her team left the kitchen area so spotless that the owners of the venue said it was the cleanest it had ever been left. I highly recommend Divine Occasions Catering. Seven weeks after the wedding a people are still commenting on how good the food was.

Abby at Divine Occasions provided the most amazing buffet for my wedding! She is so personable and friendly - my fiance and I knew we made the right decision when we went to her little home kitchen for our tasting - everything was sooooo good! We had juicy, amazing beef tenderloin and delicious parmesan halibut that all my guests absolutely loved!!! Most people who commented about the food said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. I am so grateful to Abby for helping to make my day perfect! Abby, Owner of Divine Occasions Catering, was so wonderful! She made our catering needs affordable and easy. She is a wonderful person to work with, and her food is absolutely delicious! I can't even count how many people came up to me during and after our wedding who said how wonderful the food was. She even had plates set aside for PJ and I because our guests ate before us, while we took pictures. Her presentation was gorgeous, and her work ethic is to be admired. From beginning to end, they were amazing! The ladies that came out were very sweet and worked very quick, while producing amazing food. All my family and friends commented to me at the wedding and even after the wedding how amazing the food was and how nice they were. Not only was the food amazing, but they also cooked it on site; which I had my wedding at a beach house, they setup in the kitchen and cooked everything. Some of the other caterers I had contacted said they cooked it at their own facilities and brought the food pre-cooked. I would completely recommend them to anyone!

Not only did Abby cater my wedding, she was also my wedding coordinator. She knew I had a tight budget, so she helped me make my own invitations, centerpieces, programs, & even my bouquets. There is nothing she can't do! Instead of being stressed as I planned my wedding - I was having fun. She is quite the perfectionist and made sure everything was exactly as it should be. Words can't describe how delicious her food is. She catered my engagement party & wedding and I have had so many guests come back to me asking for her info. Her food is always the topic of discussions. You'd be crazy not to book her for your wedding, or any event for that matter!

Greatest wedding food I have ever had. People were going back for seconds and complimenting the food all night. We had 2 kinds of pasta, 2 kinds of salad and amazing bread! Abby is very helpful in making your menu to suit you. She is also very reliable!

My wedding experience was one of a kind, and it is sincerely thanks to Ms. Abby West with Divine Catering! From the first time I met with Abby, she inspired me and sent me on my way, overflowing with ideas and possibilities. I had a circus themed wedding that was as over the top and crazy as any carnival can be! Everything from the theme to the food was inspired and planned with Abby's help and guidance. She was available whenever I had a question or was stumped on an idea. She was always patient with me and thought of every little detail!! The food was amazing and everything stuck perfectly with the circus theme! We even had elephant ears and cotton candy! I had more guests compliment the food than anything else at the wedding! My husband and I sincerely thank Abby and her amazing staff for their thoughtfulness and help with everything! I would highly recommend Divine Catering to anyone and plan to use them for every event!

We were introduced to Abby through a former co-worker. Upon meeting her we were pleased with her comfortable manner and of course, delicious food! Not only that but her prices were so far more affordable than other caterer's we spoke to. We've even since referred other bride's to her! You have to make sure you try the peanut sauce! We told our guests how good it was and ran out at the wedding. Abby then told us that had never happened before! Only negative I can say is some of the food was not exactly as we asked for, but our guests seemed to be very happy with what they got. We ordered a pesto pasta salad that was not served, but rather an extra green salad, so we had 2. And the green salad we requested was not what was provided, but the guests loved what was served. Regardless of this, our guests raved about the food! Their service was excellent and reliable.

We are so glad we used divine occasions for our wedding last year. We got lucky and heard of the catertering sevice through a friend. From the start Abby was very attentive and had a great ideas. The food was so delicious. My friends and family still are talking about how good the food was a year later. I had people comment on how hard they worked and how much they cleaned up. The food was hot, with the kitchen a drive away. The presentation was gorgeous. We would highly recommend divine occasion(Abby) to any friend.
