It was a pleasure to work with Jodi at the Belvedere Banquet. She was amazing and made it very simple and easy at every step. I saw the prices and we talked about any changes along with the price for any changes. I got a packet that clearly stated what was included so I did not have to guess or question anything. We agreed on everything and I put down a small payment. Next payment could be spread out or in my case since the wedding was so close, I just paid in full. No extra fees were added on. Over the next few weeks, I had a few questions arise and she answered everything within the same day or next business day. My vendors were able to set up earlier than expected which was nice for them. I stayed next door at the hotel which was very convenient. They have doors that open between the hotel lobby and the banquet lobby. Plus a beautiful indoor lobby and outdoor courtyard for pictures. I loved the tall ceiling and the windows at my wedding. The food was amazing as well. I got many complements from my guests about the quality of the food. Many guests also enjoyed taking pictures in the lobby. Food was served at a timely manner. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

I graduated from Marquette University in Marketing and Management and continued on to the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago achieving a degree in Culinary Arts. I got married in 2014 in our family home and we now have two cute sons! My passion is planning events from start to finish. Culinary art is not only a part of my job but also one of my favorite things to do in my free time. Growing up I always loved to throw a great party and who knew that my passion would one day turn into a profession that I love!

the door! Candles lite, water falls flowing! A complete gorgeous look that fit right in with our taste! Lorna was our coordinator and she was extremely responsive to all our questions and helped in making our vision come to life! The day of service was awesome, the drinks kept flowing, and the food was exceptional! I'm still hearing today compliments on the food from the hors d'oeuvres to the main stations, to the desserts!! We requested a complete gluten free menu and belvedere made it happen! We chose stations instead of a plated meal and the presentation was awesome!! We decided on small pastries instead of a cake (along with cupcakes and a candy station) to make it all pick up and eat food. People keep asking about them, and couldn't say enough about the delicious sweets offered! Never ran out of food! The flow was smooth and we have heard nothing but raving compliments about the whole night! We chose late night pizza that Belvedere provided, they served it at the right time and it was gobbled up! y and stress-free. Everything was absolutely beautiful on the day of the wedding, we couldn't have asked for more! Having the hotel attached was a huge plus for us as we had a lot of people coming in from out of town.
We did have a few minor hiccups (we asked for no candelabras on the head table and they were there, the servers were serving an appetizer that we didn't ask for, our cookies and brownies were never served), but it was nothing that took away from the day and nothing that anyone noticed but us. The food was fantastic, we received many compliments.
Overall, we would definitely recommend the Belvedere to anyone!

cess, she was nothing short of amazing. She was so patient, kind, and always made me feel comfortable when asking questions. She was always quick to respond, 100% friendly and professional, and was incredibly helpful with all of our day-of coordinating. I cannot thank her enough for all that she has done for me, my fiance, and our families.
The venue itself is stunning. The food is absolutely delicious. The steak here is incredible - I highly recommend the filet, our guests raved about how delicious the meal was. We opted for an upgraded sweets table and it did not disappoint.
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The service was incredible, and honestly, Orla was the wedding coordinator of our dreams. A sincere thanks to her and everyone else who helped made our wedding happen. We love the Belvedere!

ed by an assistant who was bubbly and enthusiastic. Then we were passed to the owner/director who took us on a tour of the facility. She was rude to us and even had the nerve to suggest we take our reception to another location. We asked questions and asked to see photos of how the room would be set up. She didn't answer any of our questions and provided no photos that would provide us with a visual on how things would look.
I have been to the Belvedere before, but after this experience I will never go again.

space itself is beautiful and fun at the same time. About a month out from my big day the manager informed me that my coordinator was no longer employed with them. Before I even had the chance to freak out Caroline (my new coordinator) was contacting me, making sure that I knew that she had everything under control. I felt that this hall was an amazing value. I was able to have the open bar that my family wanted and was able to offer my guests 3 different entree options. We had butler passed h'orderves and champagne as our guests arrived. One week before the wedding I received more great news. The night of our wedding was supposed to be a full house with a total of 4 weddings in house. Caroline surprised us by letting us know that a few of the weddings had been rearranged and I was able to have the two end rooms on the left with the amazing staircase and fireplace. It was just perfect. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! Not one person out of around 170 people had a complaint. Everyone got what the ordered. Even my gluten sensitive and dairy free guests were very happy. Over all I was so so SO happy with my choice. I would, and already have, recommend this venue to everyone I know. Not only me, my parents, family, and friends just loved our whole experience. THANK YOU CAROLINE AND THE WHOLE BELVEDERE STAFF!

most memorable day of our lives. The facility is absolutely beautiful and The Belvedere was extremely attentive to our needs the entire night. Our wedding was perfect. Our only suggestion would be to ask The Belvedere to put extra food and cake in their refrigerator for the night so you can pick it up the next day. Our food went bad because the tray they put it in didn't fit in our tiny hotel room fridge.

She was EXTREMELY helpful to my husband and I when, last minute, the bakery that we had ordered our cake from had gone out of business. She was able to get information to me, while I was still in town, and help me make arrangements for tastings, within 24 hours. Jodi was very responsive for the 11 month planning process and our day was absolutely perfect (and she was never rude to the bride who constantly nagged with questions). The hall was beautiful, everything went more smoothly than I could have imagined, and I heard rave reviews from our guests all night. If there was a problem, it was definitely taken care of without anyone worrying my husband or I and we never had to take a minute away from our special day. Even with 2 other weddings at the venue, everything went perfectly - the food was delicious (even the next night - we had our dinners boxed up), the decor was amazing, and the party was awesome!

d answered all of our questions and even made a few suggestions! Everything was taken care of and our guests still can not stop talking about our dinner, desert table or the size of our dance floor! I really wish the air conditioning hadn't broken that night! Go figure....85 degrees in October! It was like a sauna in there! But, they did bring in a jumbo fan for us! The only other thing I can complain about (and it is our own fault too) is that no one thought to pack up any of the extra plates (and there were over TEN) for us to take back to our room to eat! We were starving (and paid for those plates) and it would've been great to have had good food to eat since we skipped a lot of it during the reception!
The bartenders were phenomenal! They created a signature drink for us and no one ever had to wait for a drink :)

Belvedere was the 4th venue place that we decided to look at for our special day. The most important thing to us was size since our guest list was 1000+ people. They had three room...
s, all of which were available for our wedding day (May 27). My husband had been a groomsmen in a wedding that had their reception at the Belvedere and he loved it. I decided to trust him, since he gladly gave me free reign over everything else, I figured I'd let him choose the venue. So we paid the downpayment and started the process. We were originally referred to the owner's wife, and while she started the process, she eventually transitioned us to Jodi C. who was a pure delight! She was flexible with the due dates for our payments if we were a little short or were a little unsure of our final number towards the end. She gave her input without being overbearing, which was highly appreciated since she had done many weddings and knew what to expect when it came down to certain things. They worked with our florist very well and allowed her to play with her creative side. I only had a few appetizers (which were delish) and the soup and salad on my wedding day, all of which were very good. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they had mashed potatoes on the dinner plate instead of the potato I ordered and they missed an "I" in my name on the display. But I'm not the biggest stickler for details, so it didn't really bother me that much. Great place to have your wedding!

We had one problem, the fuse blew during our entrance. But the manager added an additional hour to our reception since it took a while to get the music started again.

d to be. Orla took care of us and she went above and beyond anything we could've hoped for. She was the warmest person and wanted to do anything in her power to help make our day more special. We had a Persian ceremony there and they were so willing to accomodate us with it and helped make it a truly special and unique experience. We're going to be talking about it for years to come. The food was delicious. The room looked spectacular and everything came together seamlessly with Orla's help. She was there all night checking in, making sure everyone was taken care of including my husband and I. It was just sensational and we coulnd't have asked for anything more. We're still on cloud 9 and so thrilled that we went with Belvedere!!! Thank you!!!

r that. I fell in love with this venue from the moment that I walked in. I loved the contemporary and elegant look and feel to the Belvedere. I fell in love with the bridal suite and the purple couch in the lounge in the women's bathroom. The fountains in the lobby make for a great cocktail hour. The food was fantastic. Our friends and family still complement us about the food that we had served at our wedding. The Belvedere was very accommodating with special needs diets such as Gluten Free meals too. We worked with Orla and she was fantastic. She made sure that everything went perfect for not only my husband and I but all of our guests too. If I could relive my wedding reception again, I would not have changed one thing about how our night went at the Belvedere.

This reception hall is gorgeous! I couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were for such an elegant looking hall. The people at Belvedere were very easy to work with and accom...
modated any special requests I had. Plus, there is a Country Inn & Suites attached to the hall- SO nice not to have to worry about a shuttle service for the end of the night.
Food was good, about average with most places I've been to.
