My husband and I had our ceremony and reception here on New Year's Eve! 12/31/2017 everything was perfect! The decor at the Belvedere is so elegant from the minute you step through the door! Candles lite, water falls flowing! A complete gorgeous look that fit right in with our taste! Lorna was our coordinator and she was extremely responsive to all our questions and helped in making our vision come to life! The day of service was awesome, the drinks kept flowing, and the food was exceptional! I'm still hearing today compliments on the food from the hors d'oeuvres to the main stations, to the desserts!! We requested a complete gluten free menu and belvedere made it happen! We chose stations instead of a plated meal and the presentation was awesome!! We decided on small pastries instead of a cake (along with cupcakes and a candy station) to make it all pick up and eat food. People keep asking about them, and couldn't say enough about the delicious sweets offered! Never ran out of food! The flow was smooth and we have heard nothing but raving compliments about the whole night! We chose late night pizza that Belvedere provided, they served it at the right time and it was gobbled up! We had our Wedding at the Belvedere on Friday, May 27, 2016. We worked with Orla on our special day and she was great! The day of the room looked amazing, she helped us with anything last minute we needed and all of our friends and family raved about the food and service from the staff. Doro, the banquet manager was great to work with as well and made sure our day went flawless!!!

I know this is suppose to be a review, however, I have a question. I saw that it was for wedding receptions but I was hoping to do both the ceremony and reception here. Is that a possibility. But I suppose as a slight review, I fell in love with this place after being here for my brother's college graduation in 2014!! :)

We used the Belvedere for our October wedding and could not be happier with our decision! Everything went so smoothly and Orla was so great to work with, she made everything so easy and stress-free. Everything was absolutely beautiful on the day of the wedding, we couldn't have asked for more! Having the hotel attached was a huge plus for us as we had a lot of people coming in from out of town. We did have a few minor hiccups (we asked for no candelabras on the head table and they were there, the servers were serving an appetizer that we didn't ask for, our cookies and brownies were never served), but it was nothing that took away from the day and nothing that anyone noticed but us. The food was fantastic, we received many compliments. Overall, we would definitely recommend the Belvedere to anyone!

It's difficult to find the right words to express my complete happiness and satisfaction with our venue. ORLA was our wedding coordinator, and throughout the 14 month planning process, she was nothing short of amazing. She was so patient, kind, and always made me feel comfortable when asking questions. She was always quick to respond, 100% friendly and professional, and was incredibly helpful with all of our day-of coordinating. I cannot thank her enough for all that she has done for me, my fiance, and our families. The venue itself is stunning. The food is absolutely delicious. The steak here is incredible - I highly recommend the filet, our guests raved about how delicious the meal was. We opted for an upgraded sweets table and it did not disappoint. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The service was incredible, and honestly, Orla was the wedding coordinator of our dreams. A sincere thanks to her and everyone else who helped made our wedding happen. We love the Belvedere!

We are so happy we had our reception at Belvedere Banquets! We worked with Lorna, who was extremely easy going and helpful. Belvedere was so accommodating and our reception could not have been any better.

After reading multiple wonderful reviews, my daughter was anxious to see if the Belvedere would be the perfect place for her wedding reception. Boy was she mistaken. We were greeted by an assistant who was bubbly and enthusiastic. Then we were passed to the owner/director who took us on a tour of the facility. She was rude to us and even had the nerve to suggest we take our reception to another location. We asked questions and asked to see photos of how the room would be set up. She didn't answer any of our questions and provided no photos that would provide us with a visual on how things would look. I have been to the Belvedere before, but after this experience I will never go again.

Lorna was great about keeping in touch with us throughout the planning process and answered all of our questions quickly and in detail. She checked in with us several times during the day to make sure everything was running smoothly and we were very pleased. The decor was perfect and was exactly what I wanted. It couldn't have been better.

I loved the belvedere as a venue. We got married on december 7th and having the hotel connected to the venue was so convenient. Caroline was the most helpful person answering the 1000's of questions I had right away. If i had to do it all over again i would choose this venue every time!

I couldn't have asked for a better place to have my wedding reception. Everything was beautiful, the food was fantastic and the service we received was outstanding!

I was against banquet halls but when I walked into the Belvedere I knew I wanted to have my ceremony and reception there. It is very modern and elegant, no ugly carpeting or wallpaper like most banquet halls. It was great to have Lorna coordinate everything and be able to get food, alcohol, linens, etc. in one place. You have to check it out!

I loved the Belvedere, they did such a fantastic job. I don't have a signle complaint, they were awesome from the first day I walked in the door to look at the venue. The venue is beautiful, the staff is great and the food is delicious. I wouldn't change a thing. I would recommend them to everyone!

Belvedere created an absolutely GORGEOUS ceremony hall and reception ballroom for our wedding! It was stunning! The food was good and the staff during the reception was wonderful. The staff helping us plan could have been more prepared for our questions and given a little more information to make our planning and payments easier.

We had both our ceremony and wedding at the Belvedere in Elk Grove - they both were wonderful! The venue is absolutely stunning and we had so many compliments from our guests! The food was great (though I didn't really eat that night) - again many of our guests had positive things to say about the menu. We worked with Jodi and she was very accommodating and easy to work with. The only complaint that I heard was there should be a bathroom on each side of the venue. There was our wedding (200+ people) and another wedding the same evening and it got a bit crowded in the lobby and bathroom area. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you for making our day wonderful!

Very good food

I really do not have complaints in regards to my wedding at the Belvedere. We worked with Jodi and she was wonderful, as was her staff. Everything from booking to planning to finish was great! Not your typical banquet hall, very modern. Food is top notch, excellent service, beautiful space! I would highly recommend this venue!!

The belvedere made my wedding as beautiful as I imagined it would be. I love their modern style and how helpful they were. Jody was very helpful and worked me. Everything was set up so perfect the day of the wedding and I got so many compliments on the venue and how great the food was!! Loved it!

The service was amazing throughout our entire wedding-planning process. Orla was responsive and incredibly helpful, and the same goes for the rest of the staff. The food is amazing, the portions are huge, and the service is impeccable. The hall itself is beautiful and off-centre, which we loved; the quirky decorations helped set it apart and made it feel fun. Our price tag was high because of our guest list, but the pricing here really blew every one else out of the water; the package includes so much! We did end up having to pay more for our cake because the bakery said the Belvedere's package is "fairly basic," but the cake came out awesome so it was no big deal. :)

I was very very impressed with every step of the planning process at the Belvedere. I was given a wedding coordinator who made sure that everything I needed was taken care of. The space itself is beautiful and fun at the same time. About a month out from my big day the manager informed me that my coordinator was no longer employed with them. Before I even had the chance to freak out Caroline (my new coordinator) was contacting me, making sure that I knew that she had everything under control. I felt that this hall was an amazing value. I was able to have the open bar that my family wanted and was able to offer my guests 3 different entree options. We had butler passed h'orderves and champagne as our guests arrived. One week before the wedding I received more great news. The night of our wedding was supposed to be a full house with a total of 4 weddings in house. Caroline surprised us by letting us know that a few of the weddings had been rearranged and I was able to have the two end rooms on the left with the amazing staircase and fireplace. It was just perfect. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! Not one person out of around 170 people had a complaint. Everyone got what the ordered. Even my gluten sensitive and dairy free guests were very happy. Over all I was so so SO happy with my choice. I would, and already have, recommend this venue to everyone I know. Not only me, my parents, family, and friends just loved our whole experience. I had an awesome experience with the Belvedere. My wedding was beautiful and they were on top of everything all night. There were a few mishaps but nothing is perfect.

The Belvedere was wonderful. A great value for what you get. The entire staff was very professional and very helpful. The foyer area is beautiful. There is a bridal suite located above the foyer area where the bridal party could go to relax, prep, clean-up etc. They had a staircase leading down from the suite into the reception hall which my wife absolutely loved. The set-up of the room was fantastic. All of the guest raved about the food and the overall set up of the reception hall. Overall, we were very very happy with the Belvedere and would recommend any and all friends and family to have a reception there.

I can't say enough great things about the Belvedere and our coordinator, Lorna!!! The Belvedere is an absolutely gorgeous venue and the people that work there were all wonderful to work with!! Lorna was such an amazing coordinator to work with! She was so sweet & helpful throughout our whole planning process and made sure everything was perfect!! Everything on our wedding day went perfect as well & I am so happy that we went with the Belvedere for our wedding reception!!!! We loved our venue at Belvedere Banquets. It was exactly what we wanted with the updated decore and friendly staff. The food was an added bonus. Our guests enjoyed the proscuitto chicken--everyone loved it! I highly recommend working with Orla as well!

I just want to say that Orla my wedding coordinator at Belvedere took her time and patient to give me the wedding of my dreams. She help me through out the whole planning make sure that everything is in place. She constantly check on me during the one year preparation till the day of the wedding! The staff were polite and the food is delicious! My guest were impress with the ambience and the food!!! Thank you for the beautiful wedding!!!!!!!!!!!

Great food and absolutely beautiful banquet hall but my husband and I didn't feel like we were taken care of very well. The people we dealt with didn't make us feel like they all can handle it. Since we had tons of questions, they didn't seem to be happy with dealing with us so much. On the day of our wedding everything turned out great.

Belvedere puts on a wonderful wedding! I received so many compliments on how beautiful my wedding was and many complements on the food! We had no issues with this venue! I had Lorna as a consultant, she was very professional and dealt with my consistent mind changing hehe. She did a wonderful job helping me out and everything came out great.

From the initial tour of the facility to the day of our wedding, Jodi from The Belvedere was extremely helpful and friendly. She was willing to work with us to make our wedding the most memorable day of our lives. The facility is absolutely beautiful and The Belvedere was extremely attentive to our needs the entire night. Our wedding was perfect. Our only suggestion would be to ask The Belvedere to put extra food and cake in their refrigerator for the night so you can pick it up the next day. Our food went bad because the tray they put it in didn't fit in our tiny hotel room fridge.

We had our wedding reception at the Belvedere in March, everything was beyond great. The food was delicious, the room was set up beautifully and the staff was great. The only problem we had was that the beef we ordered, I remember being a very different cut at our tasting, people still really liked it but I don't think its exactly what we ordered. Dinner service was really fast for 335 people which allowed more time for dancing!

My husband and I held our wedding reception at The Belvedere. We planned our wedding from out of state, with my parents as our local liasons. Jodi was the coordinator that I worked with and she was always there to answer my questions via phone or email. When I was in town, she made sure that she was able to meet with me if I had any questions. She was EXTREMELY helpful to my husband and I when, last minute, the bakery that we had ordered our cake from had gone out of business. She was able to get information to me, while I was still in town, and help me make arrangements for tastings, within 24 hours. Jodi was very responsive for the 11 month planning process and our day was absolutely perfect (and she was never rude to the bride who constantly nagged with questions). The hall was beautiful, everything went more smoothly than I could have imagined, and I heard rave reviews from our guests all night. If there was a problem, it was definitely taken care of without anyone worrying my husband or I and we never had to take a minute away from our special day. Even with 2 other weddings at the venue, everything went perfectly - the food was delicious (even the next night - we had our dinners boxed up), the decor was amazing, and the party was awesome!

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about the Belvedere and it's staff. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at the Belvedere and everything turned out better than I could have ever imagined! We worked with Lorna and she was beyond amazing. Everyone was more an accommodating and I highly highly recommend the Belvedere to anyone and everyone!

We were "sold" from the minute we walked in! That place was perfect for us. Contemporary, yet minimalistic! :) Orla took great care of us! She was easy enough to get a hold of and answered all of our questions and even made a few suggestions! Everything was taken care of and our guests still can not stop talking about our dinner, desert table or the size of our dance floor! I really wish the air conditioning hadn't broken that night! Go figure....85 degrees in October! It was like a sauna in there! But, they did bring in a jumbo fan for us! The only other thing I can complain about (and it is our own fault too) is that no one thought to pack up any of the extra plates (and there were over TEN) for us to take back to our room to eat! We were starving (and paid for those plates) and it would've been great to have had good food to eat since we skipped a lot of it during the reception! The bartenders were phenomenal! They created a signature drink for us and no one ever had to wait for a drink :) Thanks Belvedere! We enjoyed ourselves!

I LOVED my venue. I was looking for a twist on just your normal banquet hall and I sure got it! Beautifully decorated with up to date decor... The food was great and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

We had our wedding at the Belvedere and it was the best choice we could have made. The staff, the food, the drinks, and the venue itself were all outstanding. The staff was wonderful the day of, and throughout the entire planning process. Jodi worked with us to make sure every detail was up to par and our wedding was beautiful!

Belvedere was the 4th venue place that we decided to look at for our special day. The most important thing to us was size since our guest list was 1000+ people. They had three rooms, all of which were available for our wedding day (May 27). My husband had been a groomsmen in a wedding that had their reception at the Belvedere and he loved it. I decided to trust him, since he gladly gave me free reign over everything else, I figured I'd let him choose the venue. So we paid the downpayment and started the process. We were originally referred to the owner's wife, and while she started the process, she eventually transitioned us to Jodi C. who was a pure delight! She was flexible with the due dates for our payments if we were a little short or were a little unsure of our final number towards the end. She gave her input without being overbearing, which was highly appreciated since she had done many weddings and knew what to expect when it came down to certain things. They worked with our florist very well and allowed her to play with her creative side. I only had a few appetizers (which were delish) and the soup and salad on my wedding day, all of which were very good. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they had mashed potatoes on the dinner plate instead of the potato I ordered and they missed an "I" in my name on the display. But I'm not the biggest stickler for details, so it didn't really bother me that much. Great place to have your wedding!

The hall is beautiful and the biggest compliment of our guests was how wonderful the food was. They enjoyed the buffet style so they could pick their own food. (The pasta stationed cooked the food in front of you and each person added their own touch). We had one problem, the fuse blew during our entrance. But the manager added an additional hour to our reception since it took a while to get the music started again.

Our coordinator was great and flexible. The place is BEAUTIFUL and modern. The wait staff did not follow any of the plans, specific dietary meals or fulfil any requests made by the guest or myself (the bride!)

Great food, Great service, Great atmosphere!

We celebrated our wedding reception at the Belvedere 2 weeks ago now and it was absolutely amazing. It's so modern and beautiful, not old and stuffy like a lot of banquet halls tend to be. Orla took care of us and she went above and beyond anything we could've hoped for. She was the warmest person and wanted to do anything in her power to help make our day more special. We had a Persian ceremony there and they were so willing to accomodate us with it and helped make it a truly special and unique experience. We're going to be talking about it for years to come. The food was delicious. The room looked spectacular and everything came together seamlessly with Orla's help. She was there all night checking in, making sure everyone was taken care of including my husband and I. It was just sensational and we coulnd't have asked for anything more. We're still on cloud 9 and so thrilled that we went with Belvedere!!! Thank you!!!

When my husband and I started looking for venues for our wedding reception, the Belvedere was the first venue that we looked at and compared it to all other venues that we saw after that. I fell in love with this venue from the moment that I walked in. I loved the contemporary and elegant look and feel to the Belvedere. I fell in love with the bridal suite and the purple couch in the lounge in the women's bathroom. The fountains in the lobby make for a great cocktail hour. The food was fantastic. Our friends and family still complement us about the food that we had served at our wedding. The Belvedere was very accommodating with special needs diets such as Gluten Free meals too. We worked with Orla and she was fantastic. She made sure that everything went perfect for not only my husband and I but all of our guests too. If I could relive my wedding reception again, I would not have changed one thing about how our night went at the Belvedere.

This reception hall is gorgeous! I couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were for such an elegant looking hall. The people at Belvedere were very easy to work with and accommodated any special requests I had. Plus, there is a Country Inn & Suites attached to the hall- SO nice not to have to worry about a shuttle service for the end of the night. Food was good, about average with most places I've been to.

I could not have asked for a better reception site! Every step of the process was organized and stress free!! Food was great, service was great, having a hotel attached was so convienent, great value for the price!!!

The hall was beautiful. We had the first room and it was gorgeous. The bridal room was very swanky. I didn't have to decorate anything additional because the room itself was so romantic and elegant. The food was delicious. I would recommend to anyone to have their reception there.

I can't say enough great things about the Belvedere. They were quite accommodating with some of our special needs, were extremely professional, and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The food was amazing and we're still receiving compliments on both the dinner and the cake. In addition, I made the centerpieces and a few other things myself for the reception. The Belvedere mentioned that we could drop everything off the day before and they would take care of setting everything up at no extra cost. The only drawback is that we did not have a specific point person that we dealt with the entire time. Our original contact, Caroline, was on maternity leave at the time of our wedding, which is totally understandable. Jodi, who is absolutely amazing, helped us out until the day of the wedding, and then Stacy was our contact person the day of. This was a little confusing, but for the most part everything went off without a hitch. I would definitely recommend the Belvedere for future events.

Everybody is still taking about how great the food was... even the foodies! Package also come with cake from Rolf's.. who makes cakes for Whole Foods! All the planners were extra helpful and gave us great suggestions about the event and tips on crowd pleasing gestures. The hall is naturally beautiful so minimal added decorations! Stacie, Orla, and Caroline are fantastic!!!

I couldn't have imagined a better wedding. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was fun, everything turned out perfectly and the staff at the Belvedere were extrememly helpful and accommodating. I loved everything about it!

Gorgeous, modern banquet hall with excellent pricing

We were a little hesitant about using a standard banquet hall for our reception, worried that it would be too cookie-cutter and boring for us - yet - we had a limited budget... Belvedere turned out beautifully! The room was gorgeous (we got so many compliments) and everyone raved about how delicious the filet was (we heard it was the best steak ever at a wedding from more than one person). There was a slight hiccup at the beginning in terms of communication with the planner, but they completely made up for it. Beautiful party and wonderful servers/planners on the day of the reception.

Like the the past reviews say, Belvedere's decor was beautiful, very modern and fun. There was no problem trying to get a hold of anybody. Our event coordinator was Jodi, and she was great during the planning process. She responded to my emails immediately, if not, the within the same day. Although we did have a few issues the day of the wedding. The day before the wedding I went to drop off the favors and place cards. That's when I found out that Jodi would be out the office and someone else will be helping us. Now this wouldn't be a problem if somebody contacted me before to let me know, just some professional courtesy. But I was a pretty laid back bride and didn't think much of it. The next issue was the hors d'oeuvres. We had about 320 people at our reception and many people complained that the hors d'oeuvres weren't being served and some had to chase down servers just to get a few pieces. We brought this to the attention of the staff and still nothing was done. The same issue happened with the cake. A lot people mentioned they didn't receive any cake. Now I'm not sure if the cake was too small (it was 5 tiers) or if the servers didn't get to everyone. When I brought this to Belvedere's attention the week after the wedding, i was pretty much told that the staff said everything went well, family seemed happy, and there were plenty of hors d'oeuvres left over (thats probably because they weren't served!). They also said that they understand that there's two sides to every story and offered a gift certificate (which i haven't received yet) for any inconvenience. Now we have been to weddings before at the Belvedere and the service was great. We were just disappointed that we didn't get the same level of service. But like everyone else said, the food was awesome and the bartenders were the best, very professional, very courteous.

I wanted something elegant but reasonable and achieved that in Belvedere. There staff was exceptional, they set up everything, including my favors. The decor was absolutely breath taking when I walked in. I hear that the food was excellent! I couldn't eat b/c of nerves but everyone else enjoyed it. All I can say is fabulous, absolutely fabulous;My room was only $24.50 w/out any grautity/tax tacked on. That has changed though as of Jan '07.

We loved the price! The room which we were in was the garden room and it was beautiful! It was recently remodeled and it was just so beautiful!;I don't think I would warn them about anything. We did have a problem with some place cards being lost but I don't know if that was our fault or not? We did them ourselves the day before so it could of totally been our own fault?

We used the Garden Room for our reception and it was breathtaking with its huge chandeliers, lighted tree in the middle of the dance floor, beautiful balcony from which we were introduced from, nice big foyer, covered driveway with a private entrance, big (private) bridal bathroom, inexpensive decorations, etc...! It was a polish establishment which meant there were several items on the menu we had never heard of. However, they allow the bride & groom to do a food tasting the nights they have events. The food was fantastic, by the way! Plus, they were the most reasonably priced reception hall (price per plate with all drinks included) in the Chicagoland area! We (and our guests) were more than pleased!;Make sure to order a cake large enough to serve all your guests! We had prepared a 'sweets table' for those guests who don't prefer cake and thus had ordered a cake to only serve 80% of our guests. HOWEVER, the cake was cut and served to each guest at the reception which meant they had to cut and serve the cake that was to be for our 1st anniversary to have enough to go around.

It was beautifully decorated, the food was excellent. Well priced for what you got.

It was wanderfull!! All of it!! Our coordinator (Orla) did everything what she was asked and much more. The food was wanderfull, the staff was great. It cost us less, than we thought.
