ACH Events is an award-winning wedding coordination company based in Round Rock, TX. Owner and lead event planner Abbie Hillis is passionate about weddings and strives to create memorable milestone events that couples can remember fondly for years to come.
Abbie has been the organizational force behind ACH Events since its establishment in 2016. She accredits her business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit to her grandmother, who successfully set up her own catering company many years ago. Along with her two senior wedding coordinators, Mikayla and Melissa, this dedicated trio aims to ensure that each moment of your special day flows seamlessly into the next. The team is based in Austin, Texas, but they have also coordinated numerous milestone events in locations such as Colorado, Mexico, and New York City. Hailey helped us coordinate and plan our wedding day and was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole wedding planning process. Her email touch points were thorough and came at perfect times as we were working through getting our vendors and vision aligned. She also provided so many resources and organizational tools to use- I was so thankful for her suggestions, references, and guidance! As we got closer to the big day, Hailey took over all communication and logistics, which definitely helped my type-A heart knowing that someone else was putting as much thought and planning into everything as I was; it was much easier to let go of the reins knowing Hailey was the one taking over. My wedding was in great hands with her, and the day of was absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend Hailey and The Label Affair to any couples who want to have someone who listens, supports, offers guidance, and is overall wonderful and sweet to work with!
As someone who made my coordinator decision based solely off of online reviews, I’d be remiss not to leave one here since my experience was so vastly different from those of other reviewers - to the point where we ultimately made the decision to find a new coordinator two days before our wedding (stressful, but so worth it in the end!).
Mikayla, our Benevo coordinator, seemed great on our initial call, but it quickly became evident that attention to detail was lacking. From never being able to spell my fiancé’s last name correctly (it remained spelled wrong up until she canceled our calendar holds two days before the wedding) to getting quotes that were not at all what we had discussed, all work done by Mikayla needed to be reviewed to ensure that it was correct. Maybe this wouldn’t be the case in an established venue with more of a set plan, but there is more complexity in having a wedding on a private property and that complexity was not handled well throughout the time we worked with Mikayla.
Worse than attention to detail, the biggest pain point in working with Mikayla was dishonesty. Our package included a vendor walkthrough that was intended to be a chance for all vendors to walk the property and run through the game plan. A little over a week prior to this meeting, we checked in to see how inviting the vendors was going. When we didn’t hear from her for a few days, we checked in again on Saturday (the meeting was Tuesday) and were told that she was waiting on a few responses, including from our rentals supplier who was our largest vendor. Our contact from there was absolutely fantastic and not replying quickly was unlike her, so we reached out and she let us know that she hadn’t heard from Mikayla. When we learned this, we reached out to a couple of other vendors who said the same and invited them ourselves. Through one of our vendors, we learned that Mikayla did eventually reach out but it was less than 24 hours beforehand (!!!). On the day of, Mikayla let us know that multiple vendors had backed out… when in reality they just weren’t able to make it at all since they were contacted so late. This wasn’t the first time that Mikayla had said she was doing something that did not get done or misrepresented what had been done, so we had a conversation about it and about how we needed to be able to trust that she was going to live up to her word. Unfortunately, it happened again as we were contacting vendors to confirm the timeline. We’d be told that people had been contacted only to find that they had not, which led to us deciding to do all of this coordination ourselves to ensure that it got done.
Timeliness was another issue. Mikayla would repeatedly say that she was going to send something by a certain date and then miss that date, not respond to messages without follow up, and just all-around be difficult to reach. When we let her go two days before our wedding, it took us over 8 hours in the middle of the day to get in touch which I feel like is telling given that it was two days before the event when ideally we would’ve had the bulk of her workday attention.
We’re not sure if this was a particularly bad time for Mikayla given that Benevo will be closing and that she’ll be starting her own gig (so perhaps her energy was going elsewhere) or if this experience was typical, but we’d be doing others using reviews to book a disservice if we weren’t transparent with our disappointing experience with both Benevo and Mikayla.
Ryleigh was literally the best wedding planner! Communication throughout the planning process was fantastic and she helped keep us on track and stay organized. Even when it looked like it might rain on the big day she assured us that she would keep the rain away and she did lol. The sun came out right before the ceremony. She is truly a good luck charm.
Our day was stress free, minus one little makeup emergency, which Ryleigh was on top of immediately and got our makeup artist to the venue to fix. She truly made our day go so smoothly and really helped to make our vision come to life. So incredibly grateful for her. Ryleigh you are amazing, keep up the great work! LOVE YOU!!
Ryleigh was the BEST wedding planner! My wedding day was stress free, and Ryleigh made sure everything went smoothly. She was extremely organized and did so much behind the scenes. She also helped so much leading up to the wedding day. She gave great advice on vendors and helped me plan the wedding of my dreams. She went above and beyond to make wedding planning easy, and I couldn’t have done it without her. My only regret is not hiring her sooner. There are so many options for vendors and Ryleigh really stood out. She listened to what we were looking for and provided suggestions when we had no idea what we wanted or were overwhelmed with all the options. I am so happy we were able to work with Benevo and Ryleigh. I will be hiring her for any event planning I need in the future and recommending her every chance I get! I’m so grateful for everything Ryleigh did to make our wedding day perfect and fun! She was amazing!
Benevo Events (formerly ACH Events) was 100% the best wedding planning service I could have engaged for my Jan 2023 wedding. Their team is impeccable - especially Mikayla Springer - and they went far above & beyond to make sure we had the best day in the history of the universe! From managing vendors to onsite day-of-coordination and everything in between, I truly couldn't have done it without them. Their pricing is affordable and flexible, too. I can't imagine using any other service for planning my wedding. You're missing out if you don't work with this team!
10 out of 10! We are SO glad we decided to have Ryleigh help us with our wedding planning. The weekend went perfectly and we didn't know half of the things Ryleigh was doing behind the scenes to make it happen. It was a no stress planning experience and I didn't have a single worry come wedding day. Our friends and family have not stopped talking about how much fun they all had and we also decided that Ryleigh is now on the guest list for any future ranch parties. If you want your guests leaving saying it was the best party they have ever been to- Hire anyone from the Benevo team.
Working with Mikayla as our wedding planner was the greatest decision my wife and I ever made. Mikayla gave us a tremendous peace of mind since day one of meeting her in what is always a very stressful planning process. She far exceeded our expectations in every way, and took the lead on everything possible, making it very comforting that our big day was well on schedule from catering to attire to music to decorations to the venue, etc. Mikayla is tremendously reliable, as she made herself available to us any time of the day when we had questions or concerns. Mikayla is responsible and has an incredible passion and confidence in what she does. My wife and I will recommend her any chance we get, and we even made a great friend along the way! THANK GOD FOR ACH!!! Most importantly Mikayla!! I knew how dedicated Mikayla was for her clients long before she was planning my wedding. Mikayla was my neighbor and I am so thankful I met her! From the very beginning Mikayla was on top of everything. She organized each vendor and was always doing behind the scene work to make our day perfect. Being a teacher made me feeling like I had no time or energy to make this day happen and I never had to worry with the help of Mikayla. Everything was perfect and organized. she was able to wrangle the entire wedding party (even the ones who were having too much fun) with grace and leadership! Not only was I extremely grateful for Mikayla but my entire family saw and appreciated her hard work, she is officially apart of our family and is so loved!

I worked with Riley as a behind the scenes content creator for my wedding and she was absolutely INCREDIBLE. She captured all the beautiful video and photo behind the scenes footage- even captured some moments my photographer and videographers missed. She was on it at all times and so beyond professional! And to top it off she was so incredibly kind and generous and wonderful to work with! I woke up the day after my wedding and had hundreds of photos and videos to look at and reminisce on the night. She even created a beautiful montage of my husband and I to music that made us both cry happy tears!! Thank you thank you Riley!!! Highly highly recommend hiring her for your wedding! I cannot say enough good things about Abbie and her team of incredible! I am probably not the easiest person to work with in general but make it my wedding and I am sure I can make even the most patient person mildly agitated. Abbie is the real deal y’all! She is there absolutely every step of the way! She provided such amazing planning tools, suggestions on what’s worked or what’s worth it and emotional support when you are starting to feel overwhelmed during the process. I don’t think my day would have gone even remotely close to what I was hoping for without her and her team. I can't say enough good things about Abbie and the ACH Events team! These ladies are AMAZING. I hired Abbie as our coordinator and she was always there for me when I needed her. From the first moment my now husband and I met her, we instantly felt comfortable and at ease with every decision she helped us make. There just aren’t enough descriptive words to express my gratitude to Mikayla and ACH Events for helping us with nearly every aspect of planning my daughter’s dream “destination” Colorado wedding. Caitlin and her husband Matt live in Australia. I’m in Austin and the wedding was in Breckenridge, a place I know well, but finding vendors from scratch was a daunting task. At our very first lunch meeting, Mikayla and Abbie were on it! Over the next weeks and months, they researched, interviewed, and found vendors that met Caitlin’s vision perfectly and were comfortable with my budget.
Needless to say, the weekend was perfect. Mikayla was amazing to work with - again. My youngest daughter Lauren and I worked with ACH just 14 months earlier for a Lakeway Resort wedding. The day, specifically the Colorado mountain weather, threw some surprises at us. Mikayla was prepared, funny, calm and I even got her on the dance floor with me for a moment of joy and laughter. Mikayla also helped us manage two one-year-olds, babysitting and their transportation. The fact that I’ve used Mikayla and ACH Events twice says it all. They are the best. - Fun to work with, professional, smart & creative!!!
The ACH Events team DELIVERS. I feel very lucky to have had Mikayla's support & creative input in bringing to life the vision and hopes my husband and I had for our wedding in June of this year. She brings fresh & creative ideas, attacks challenges head on with quick problem solving & has an extensive network of vendors that made planning an out of town wedding a breeze. Our wedding simply would not have been the same without her work. What I am most appreciative of though, is the level of care that she took throughout the planning process and the wedding weekend. The ACH Events team is relational and personable & I feel as though I got to plan my wedding alongside a longtime friend. Mikayla & the ACH Events team truly seek to create events that prioritize the must-haves and key moments for their clients and their guests. With their input, I was able to be present & soak in all of those moments Mikayla & ACH Events helped create. 11/10 recommend ACH Events - I cannot speak highly enough of this team!
Our venue owner recommended Abbie and the moment we talked with her we knew she was the perfect fit for us! My only complaint is with myself for not having hired their team for all of our wedding events. The ACH team was soooo INCREDIBLE! Our family and even friends made so many comments of how awesome the ladies in black running around were the day of the wedding! And Abbie saved the day many times leading up to the wedding too! It was such a wonderful day thanks to their team, needless to say wedding planning is overwhelming but once we started to work with Abbie it was the fun experience movies paint it out to be! I could not recommend them enough, their communication and professionalism is everything you could want for your wedding and their thoughtfulness and kindness is well beyond what you could ever imagine!

Working with Mikayla and her team was extremely easy and professional. They did an amazing job in the extreme Texas heat making sure all their vendors were all taking care of with plenty of water and vendor meal . Looking forward to working with ACH Events again .
I attended a wedding in Austin this weekend where Mikayla was the lead…. I am a family member of the bride and groom.
I just got home and the first thing I wanted to do was write a review. I cannot express the professionalism, kindness, attentiveness and so much more that was portrayed by this entire team this weekend. My daughters simply passed out programs (we were a very small part of the whole show) but they made us feel so special and noticed.

Mikayla was our planner and I truly could not have Imagined our day without her! She was there leading up to the big day, and was great about answering all my questions and putting my mind at ease. On the big day she was super helpful and allowed us to truly enjoy the evening. From greeting us after the ceremony with our favorite drinks, to checking In and making sure we're having the best time, and being there through It all. I even had a few people ask if we knew her before, she was that personable and helpful! My maid of honor Is getting married next year and said she was on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, but before cocktail hour was even over, I heard her chatting with Mikayla about how she will absolutely be hiring one (maybe ACH events will be heading to CO for hers!). Overall, I couldn't image our day without her!! 10/10 recommend!
Abbie is just pure amazing! She has been helping me coordinate my wedding since 2018! I am a Covid bride. I have rescheduled my wedding 3 times and finally had it in April! Abbie made sure all my ducks in a row each time there was a reschedule. She knows her stuff when it comes to weddings and when you have a thought in mind she can take that thought to the next level. I am forever grateful of the friendship I have with Abbie and forever grateful for ACH Events being there with me since day one! If you need a wedding coordinator, Abbie and her team are the ones to have!

Connecting with ACH was the best decision that I made in my wedding planning process. We had no idea what we were doing and were crazy to think we could plan it all without the help from experts which ACH is! By the end of our first call, I felt such a feeling of relief knowing that we had direction and a solid plan. We worked with Mikayla, and it was the best experience! I can't imagine how everything would have happened without her. She checked in with us to make sure we were on track hiring our vendors and gently nudged us when we were chronically behind on hiring vendors. As the wedding date approached, she confirmed and checked in with the vendors for us and she was available for all our crazy questions. The vendor recommendations she made were also spot on for our vision. Everyone we selected from her list was perfect! The day of the wedding I was able to chill and enjoy getting ready with my friends without worrying about anything thanks to Mikayla and Makenzie. I felt zero stress knowing that if there were any issues, I would never have to worry about them. If we needed anything or had questions they were there immediately. They were also consistently checking in to make sure we were doing good the entire day. She kept us on schedule, was on top of every detail, and super fun to work with. Everything went exactly as planned thanks to her and her team. I truly felt like she cared so much about making sure we had the best day and I’m so thankful that she was there to make our wedding perfect!
Mikayla is a literal angel from above. She was there for us throughout our entire wedding planning process. She took our vision and made it real, and she honestly felt more like a friend than a vendor. The entire ACH team made our day so special and it ran SO smoothly. Mikayla was flexible, consistent, and always had the best ideas for how to make our dream day come to life while still staying in budget. Mikayla was always willing to pitch in with whatever we needed, she has the greatest connections and was so happy to make introductions for us for any vendors we needed to book. The tools that ACH gave us truly kept us organized and made sure we thought about all of the details that go in to a successful wedding. All of our wedding party loved Mikayla and her team. If there were any issues on the day of the wedding, they did a great job handling them because we didn’t hear about a thing!! Mikayla truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and I can’t say enough good things about our experience with ACH Events. We would book them one million more times, we are so so SO thankful for this team!!!
Mikayla was our day-of coordinator but started helping us around 60 days out with final details leading up to the big day. She has a good relationship with a ton of vendors so don’t be scared to ask questions; she is a rockstar that makes sh*t happen! Day of, we had both Mikayala and Abbie on site and they were always one step ahead of us. They kept the night flowing/on track, kept our drinks filled, set up a private dinner for us, and taught me how to dip my wife lol. They definitely helped make our night everything we wanted it to be.
I worked with Mikayla from ACH events and she was amazing! My first conversation with Mikayla was how you shouldn’t have to spend $100,000 on your wedding day (unless that’s something you want), we wanted a small intimate wedding (<50 people), and we strayed a lot from tradition. The overall process was great Mikayla reached out for introduction purposes to all vendors I hadn’t booked yet. We had a very short engagement and had 3 months to plan the wedding but it was a very smooth process thanks to Mikayla. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and Mikayla helped take all the stress off of me so I could just enjoy the day. We had changes in our itinerary day of, and it was like it was part of the plan all along. My family and friends commented how great Mikayla was and I highly recommend her!
ACH Events is like if you took the best girlfriends you've ever had and let them plan your wedding! I truly cannot say enough AMAZING things about Abbie and Mikayla! From my first phone call with Abbie asking, "How do I even plan a wedding?!" to the post wedding hugs and happy tears, I know that I could not have asked for a better team. I never once felt like a "client" of theirs but a very dear friend. Every concern, question, and favor I asked of them was handled in the most professional, timely, and beautiful way. For every bride/groom planning their wedding, I can tell you that if you want someone who will far exceed your expectations, you will not be disappointed by ACH Events! I am sincerely grateful for the work Abbie, Mikayla, and the rest of their team did in order to support our wedding weekend. Even with COVID and crazy, windy weather, they pulled a beautiful day together. They helped the day run so smoothly and went out of their way to make things work out like helping with our Zoom stream and even doing my hair after COVID prevented the stylist from coming to the wedding.
When I think of ACH Events, I think of how lovely it was to work through and dream a new dream for our wedding. Being queer, weddings are extremely layered and challenging, but Abbie and Mikayla worked tirelessly to be innovative and help us create special memories from our wedding day.
This review is long because the Abbie Cole Hillis Events team absolutely crush it! We used Abbie's services for wedding planning as well as the florals for our wedding day. Melissa was our planner since day one and she was amazing throughout the whole process (2 years in the making - Covid bride/groom over here). I can't say enough good things about Melissa, she's responsive, compassionate, and was super helpful especially during such a difficult time to plan a wedding. She really saw what we were wanting out of our wedding and made it happen! Abbie did our florals and they were better than I could've imagined! Her choice in textures of dried and live florals as well as the colors were the exact vibe I was going for. I also have to give a shoutout to Mikayla because she was a huge help on the day of as well! Seriously got the best team for our big day and we were shocked at how beautiful and perfect our wedding day was. Extra grateful to have found these lovely ladies!
I cannot say enough positive things about ACH Events. Hiring Abbie from ACH Events to be our wedding coordinator was the best decision ever—she was awesome! Abbie and her team were top-notch. Communication was easy, and her vendor recommendations were all amazing…literally every single one of them!! Not only did she help with the timeline, logistics, and ideas, but we also hired her to do our flowers! I was truly blown away with her floral creations. Hiring her saved us a ton of time, money, and stress. I would hire ACH Events 10x over! Everyone at our wedding was very impressed with her and her two assistants, Hannah, and Mikayla. She is the one who gave us the names of our caterers, cake bakery, DJ, Live entertainment, and more—each of which were complimented repeatedly. I can’t believe how wonderful our wedding day was. It was a dream come true! Hire ACH events, and I promise you yours will be just as magical. Abbie is a rock star!!
Abbie and the ACH Events team were wonderful to work with! I was a bride that thought I could do it all on my own, and I am SO grateful that I didn’t. My only wish is that I found ACH Events sooner. Everything about our wedding from set up to tear down ran perfectly and I didn’t have to worry about any of it. I can’t recommend them enough!
Abbie was absolutely AMAZING, and I would highly recommend her to everyone! We were originally supposed to get married in March 2020, and Melissa from ACH was our original planner (she is also just as incredible!) We had to reschedule twice due to COVID, and when Melissa was no longer available for our new date, Abbie stepped in and took care of everything. She literally thinks of everything - what questions to ask different vendors, what you need to bring the day of, all kinds of small logistical things we would’ve never thought of, etc. She handled a couple of issues that we had with vendors with ease and was so helpful and informative. She even stepped in and helped us with an issue we were having with our rehearsal dinner, which she didn’t have to do at all.
The day of our wedding went perfectly and so seamlessly because Abbie coordinated everything so well. She even carried my lipstick around with her so I could touch up between family photos! At the end of the night, she took care of absolutely everything and made sure all of our gifts, leftover alcohol, decorations, etc. were put into the cars they were supposed to and made sure my husband’s suit jacket made it home with a family member after he forgot it.
All in all, I would highly recommend Abbie or any of the ACH planners to anyone! They are so well organized, efficient, and helpful - and to top it off, they are all so warm and friendly. It was honestly the best choice we made when picking our vendors, and I can’t imagine how hectic things would have been without her. It’s been 3 weeks since our wedding, and we still talk about how much of a lifesaver she was for our big day! If you want to not stress about a single thing on your wedding day, ACH is definitely the best choice.
Abbie is a genuine rockstar and I do not know how I would have made it through the wedding planning process without her! From start to finish, she was there to answer all of my questions, offer advice, read through contracts, coordinate with vendors and so on. Her profound knowledge of the industry is invaluable and you will want her in your corner. Let me tell you, she has your back no matter what and she will do whatever it takes! It is also worth mentioning that COVID hit in the middle of our planning process and Abbie was there every step of the way to help us navigate through the craziness, giving us consistent industry updates and even hosted group zoom calls with her brides to answer our questions. A true pro, especially when faced with so much uncertainty. Because of her I was so at ease and relaxed on my wedding day (and the days leading up to it) because I knew she had everything under control. And it was the most perfect day thanks to her! I was so grateful to have Abbie by my side through this process and cannot recommend her enough!
I love to plan, but I am a busy graduate student who does not have a lot of spare time. I hired Abbie for month-of coordination, which was perfect. I needed someone I could transfer everything to at the one month mark and someone I could trust with the day’s details. This was especially important as a largely DIY bride because there were many little moving parts, and I wanted to be able to enjoy my day. Abbie was always available for little questions and was super helpful in finding vendors and providing tips/advice. She is thorough and flexible, as she was able to troubleshoot solutions on an unexpectedly cold and windy day. If you need someone supportive, dependable, hard-working, and organized, Abbie is the coordinator for you!
We were so lucky to have Abbie and her team plan our big day! Her and Melissa were so great at understanding our vision and helped us achieve that vision every step of the way! They not only helped us with planning and coordination, but they also took our floral design on as well and they CRUSHED it! Couldn’t speak more highly of them!

Planning, design, florals, scheduling, life coaching, encouragement, my sanity…. The list goes on!! I cannot even say how many of our guests came up to us and our families saying how amazing and on top of it Abbie was. Whether you’ve just started the planning process amid all the COVID craziness or your a few months deep and not sure what to do next CALL ABBIE!! We recently had to postpone our June 2020 wedding to June 2021 and Abbie has been an absolute lifesaver! She always has the most up to date information impacting the wedding/event world and proactively updates me and all her other brides. I literally have not had to reach out to her once because she has been so on top of posting video updates, sending emails and just calling to check in on me. Abbie was a huge help when it came to working with our vendors to postpone and I can honestly say if it weren’t for her it would not have worked out even half as good as it did. I’m so thankful we decided to hire Abbie, based on her efforts during this difficult time I know our wedding day will be managed flawlessly!
How do I even start with describing Abbie? She is one of a kind and the best decision by far we made for our wedding. She is the perfect combination of fun and professional. Abbie and her team were amazing from day one! Abbie not only knows the ins and outs of weddings, but also supported me throughout my entire engagement! When any issue came up, she problem solved and came up with an immediate solution. She perfected our timeline so we didn't have to worry about anything leading up to the wedding, especially the week of the wedding. She took care of everything! On our wedding day we had an issue with our reception venue and not being able to stabilize the floral arrangements on the tables; she came up with a solution that allowed for everything to work out beautifully! It is so important in the event planning business to be someone who can remain calm in the chaos and Abbie does that seamlessly. I cannot say enough good things about Abbie and her team. when looking for a coordinator, we were looking for a month-of coordinator that could handle the details when it got down to crunch time, and that's exactly what Abbie did. Her team made my wedding day and the weeks leading up to it so stress-free. Everyone was where they needed to be, cues were on time, vendors were paid, and I didn't have to manage or stress about any of it. My bridesmaids LOVED how organized and friendly Abbie was, and the groomsmen appreciated someone who could tell them what to do without being bossy or abrasive. Abbie and her team are the absolute best!! Melissa was our coordinator and, along with her assistant Sierra, made everything run so smoothly the day of our wedding. This team truly went above and beyond. They incorporated personal touches and special moments, like sunset photos during dinner and a last dance as our guests were getting ready for send-off, so that we could share a few moments together without taking away from our time celebrating with our family and friends. While I could go on for hours about how wonderful and professional they are, I think the highest compliment I can give is that Melissa and Sierra (and Abbie) aren't just wedding coordinators, now feel like dear friends. We could not recommend them more highly and are so thankful for all of their hard work!
ACH Events were the absolute best to work with. My fiancé and I went into our first meeting with a few ideas of our own and a general flow of how we wanted things to go, but we also had some gaping holes that we had no idea how to fill. Abbie understood our vision and was able to help us make decisions we had been putting off. She offered suggestions for a few vendors that we ended up LOVING. At our final meeting, I came in feeling a tad anxious about how much was left to do and left feeling like everything was taken care of. In general, I am a planner and wouldn’t have hired someone if my venue hadn’t required it, but I am SO glad that they did. Abbie’s expertise and knowledge of the wedding industry was something that was so valuable to us and saved me so much time and frustration. The day of was a breeze - hands down the best day of my life, and a lot of that was due to the thoughtful planning of ACH Events.
Abbie is amazing! She was our day of coordinator for our wedding in May. We had a very bad experience with our previous coordinator so we met Abbie very close to our wedding date and were a little nervous... but she came in like a pro and didn't miss a step! She recommended an amazing band and churro company that truly made our wedding our own! I can't say enough good things about her and her staff! She has amazing energy and responded to every email, text, phone call!
We also had two locations for our large wedding and lots of coordinating and everything went perfectly! Abbie and her staff were incredible!! Great decision on our part!
Cannot say enough good things about Abbie Cole Hillis. Planning our daughter's Boho style wedding reception at a very "Austin" venue, Gather - Monroe, was so fun but a bit overwhelming and stressful to pull it all together. When all the stars aligned and led me to Abbie everything clicked. She organized us, had exceptional ideas and advice, and paid attention to every detail to make the evening a huge success. She had a personal collection of vases and decor available, sparkler collection, and even had a person on her team who did the most gorgeous and reasonable flower arrangements for the reception. Her knowledge of the venue and vendors in the area was so helpful; we couldn't have done it without Abbie! I would highly recommend her to anyone planning an event or wedding.
Abbie was nothing short of amazing (and also, an absolute angel) to work with. As a working mom with 0 extra time to plan a wedding party, Abbie ( and my mom) took my vision and somehow, just made it happen. Abbie is so detail oriented and thinks of all the little things you would have forgotten. She knows the important extra touches that go a long way, and the wedding trends that are hot and not. She is also very honest, and will give you the pros and cons on any wedding topic imaginable.
When I walked into the venue the day of my party, I started crying happy tears, because the decorations and aesthetic Abbie and my mom put together were so spot on. Guests at my party actually came up to me and said “if you were a wedding venue, this would be you”- that’s how perfectly Abbie was able to put everything together. We also had a few “unruly” guests and family drama, and Abbie was able to handle each situation with ease and class. As the bride, I was able to still have fun and not give a care to those situations, because Abbie just made sure everything went on seamlessly.
I can’t speak highly enough of Abbie. She helped make my special day everything I had envisioned since I was a little girl.
Hiring Abbie was one of the best decisions we made in regards to planning our wedding. Not only did she work hard for us on our wedding day to make it stress free and everything we hoped it would be and more, she worked hard for us after our wedding following up on an unfortunate experience we had with our DJ, calling the company THAT NIGHT to speak to them about it and making sure we were taken care of and reimbursed appropriately. I cannot recommend ACH events enough for anyone planning a wedding.

I talked to the venue I was working with, and they recommended a couple of planners. I looked at Abbies website and loved what I saw. Abbie was amazing from start to finish! When we first met, she was prepared and helped us understand all the fun parts of wedding planning while simultaneously making us feel at ease. Our meetings with her were always a delight. From brainstorming entertaining options to helping us envision the layout of our venue, we knew she was looking out for us. She has strong relationships with vendors which was a major plus for us…we went with several of her vendor recommendations and were very pleased. We could enjoy our day more knowing she was around and had a handle on everything. She set up and decorated our venue beyond our expectations—we were blown away by how absolutely lovely and perfect everything looked. We feel like she pulled out all the stops (even bringing some of her own personal items for décor!) to make everything look even better. We highly recommend meeting with her when considering a topnotch wedding coordinator!
Hiring Abbie as our wedding day of coordinator was by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She was incredibly sweet and beyond patient with my multiple requests/ questions. Abbie was always happy to help with vendor selections, ideas, and thought of everything I hadn't thought of myself. We had a large Colombian wedding and Abbie was super accommodating and flexible – she made it seem she had done Catholic Colombian weddings a million times before! She was very patient with all of our family members and most importantly, made sure everything ran smoothly. We knew we needed someone that was patient, yet assertive, and I can’t imagine anyone better.

We were a bit unsure at first if we really needed a coordinator, like I’m sure many of you might be...so let me do you a favor, YES. You need one. But not just any one, YOU NEED ABBIE!
When calling around to check out coordinators, a lot of people here in Austin were either really snooty or intimidating or even a little bit pushy...and they all had ridiculous names for overpriced packages to make sure all of my “majestic bridal elegance dreams” came true. It was all just too much, but then I called Abbie and it was like talking to your really bubbly organized friend from college who is super fun and realistic but also dreamy and excited and willing to get down to business and make everything happen.
She is so ridiculously warm and welcoming and approachable and breaks everything down for you and makes sense of all of the one off details you aren’t sure how to pull together etc. She was so helpful and reassuring leading up to the wedding, helped us with all of our vendors, helped us put together the ceremony, timeline, and she added incredibly thoughtful and lovely details to everything. EVERYTHING.
Hands down the best money that we spent on anything for our wedding was Abbie.
I hired Abbie to coordinate my wedding on the day-of. I thought I generally had the planning under control, but just wanted a little extra support the day of. What I got, however, was a HUGE surprise. I didn’t realize how much Abbie would do, take care of, and manage – all without me having to worry. Any bride who is drawing near to their wedding date knows how absolutely sick you get of making decisions. The last few days leading up to it, I was to the point where I just wanted other people to make decisions about the little things – I was tired of it. Abbie completely understood where I was coming from and took what I envisioned for my wedding and made it 10,000 times better. She seemed to be everywhere at once and thought of things that never would have crossed my mind. I looked around, and things just happened to “magically” be DONE – everything from making sure candles were lit, to gathering up phones/chargers/overnight bags and loading it all in the getaway car so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Her organization and communication skills are something to be admired. She has the greatest easy-going personality which made it so easy for me to just relax and enjoy the day. She also deserves a HUGE reward for controlling my husband’s eight (yes EIGHT) groomsmen and getting them to the right places at the right times. It takes the patience of a saint to accomplish something like that with a group of guys who are all jokesters. I could go on for days about all of the things that she did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect but, in a nutshell, hiring Abbie was by far the best decision I made during our wedding planning process. I can’t say enough about how valuable she was to our special day.
There are no words to even begin to say how thankful and grateful I am for Abbie! From the very first phone call I knew Abbie was amazing! She was so helpful and put up with my dozens of emails. She put me at ease through the whole planning process. The day of the wedding was amazing, Abbie was perfect, running around, setting up, dealing with issues and vendors all while being the cutest pregnant lady there! Abbie made our day perfect and a breeze, if there were ever any issues I still don’t know about them. Paul and I have a very special place in our hearts for Abbie, we will never stop singing her praises or recommending her to everyone we know getting married. To Abbie: Paul and I adore you. After I got engaged I started planning my wedding along with my mom's help. We had no idea how much there was to do! We then hired Abbie, and I cannot express enough how amazing she is! Her ideas, guidance, management and energy were exactly what we needed. I felt completely at ease and confident that everything would get done, and our wedding would be smooth. Then the wedding weekend came, and she was AMAZING!! We had a large Bridal party and a large number of guests, and she managed everything beautifully. If anything went wrong, we never knew. I would highly recommend her for planning your wedding, it's the most important day, and you want to enjoy it and not worry about details, and that is exactly what she did for us!
