The food was delicious and they were SO easy to work with! They were required to be used with our venue but I wouldn't have changed it. They made the food/bar services so easy and everything was extremely smooth on the day of. We got multiple compliments on the food on our wedding day too!

From the tasting to the wedding, the food was absolutely impeccable. The tasting was lovely and catered to us with a personalized tasting menu that allowed us to ensure we were getting exactly what we wanted. The day of the wedding, everything was executed perfectly and the guests raved about how delicious everything was. Professional and helpful staff, amazing food. Everything we wanted and more, would highly recommend.

Best Impressions made the catering process straightforward and easy from start to finish. Crystal was so great to work with, and we really appreciated the variety of options we could choose from, as well as how she helped tailor the quote to exactly what we needed. We got married during a rare (and panic-inducing) show/ice storm in January. The Best Impressions team did not miss a beat, though! If any of the catering staff wasn’t able to make it because of the weather, or if there were any other hiccups throughout the day, we never knew it. We are so grateful to the entire Best Impressions crew for making our day unforgettable and delicious!

Best Impressions was our caterers for our wedding at the Vanlandingham Estate. Everything day-of was absolutely amazing; the venue was perfect and the servers and bartenders really did a great job. We got soooo many compliments on the food and drinks! Only flaw of the experience was that our specific coordinator that we were assigned was a bit disorganized and not super communicative, so there were many things throughout the planning process that were more difficult than they really needed to be. Thankfully we had our own day-of coordinator, or else I would have been worried.

Wow! Best Impressions blew us away. We knew we wanted to do casual stations at our wedding and the BIC team nailed it. The food was incredible- our guests absolutely loved it. Cocktail hour was seamless- the team was ready with passed apps, passed cocktails and the bar tenders were so on point. Everyone was so easy to work with. Our tasting was professional and the BIC team answered all of our questions throughout the process. They are a dream to work with!!

One of the most important things to us about our wedding day was providing incredible food for our guests. Best Impressions absolutely NAILED IT! We wish we could eat our wedding menu every day. All of our guests have commented on how great the food was – actually that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Adam was a pleasure to work with and helped guide us with the menu selection, portions and drinks. We had a taco station, a stir fry station, a lighter fare station and passed hors d’oeuvres. Everything was delicious! The servers, bartenders and chef attendants were all incredibly sweet and attentive on the day of and took great care of us and our guests. They’ve worked with most wedding venues in the Charlotte area and venues love working with them, as we learned. Adam also gave us guidance on how to build a great menu (also keeping in mind for various food allergies, intolerances and preferences), and how to make the station setup, table settings and flow work to provide the atmosphere we were looking for. Best Impressions is by far the best caterer in the Charlotte area and we’d highly recommend working with them if food is important to you on your wedding day. Look no further, they are amazing!

Best Impressions catered my wedding in April 2022 at the Mint Museum and it was amazing. The food was divine and the service was excellent. Our guests raved about our food which made my day. I know catering big events is challenging so I was just hoping the food would be good, but it really was delicious and fancy restaurant quality. They were easy to work with and had great appetizer and entrée options. I highly recommend.

Best Impressions is the ONLY caterer you need to contact! Isabella, Donald and Kendra were so instrumental in assisting my fiancé and I during the entire planning process. All three individuals were so patient, kind and accommodating. The staff and food of Best Impressions is unparalleled. All, and I do mean all, of our wedding guests were talking about how great the food and desserts tasted. We had a shrimp and grits station, omelette station, fresh fruit, grilled veggies, baby roasted potatoes, vegan pumpkin pancakes, scrambled tofu, primavera marinara, banana pudding shots, raspberry cheesecake brownies and tiramisu. Everything was delicious! When the reception ended, we barely had any leftovers to take home and we were more than alright with that! Best Impressions also provided all of the tables, linens, chairs, dinnerware and glassware for an exquisite experience at a very comfortable price for us. The staff was professionally dressed and served us all with much warmth and respect. Hire Best Impressions for a very worry-free experience!

I hired Best Impressions for my April 2022 wedding. The food was excellent unfortunately the service was horrible. The lead caterer that day, Mariah, was non existent. I was unable to track her down even after asking multiple staff members and going into the kitchen to try to help course correct issues. I had to find out her name weeks later after contacting Best Impressions. After discussing in detail the logistics of our bar setup and 2 sided buffet, they only opened 1 bar, shorted us a bartender and set up a single sided buffet. This caused long lines and severely impacted the timeline/ flow of my wedding day. Experience is everything and I would not recommend.

Picking Best Impressions for our catering was one of the best and easiest decisions we made throughout the planning process. Adam was fantastic to work with and provided prompt and helpful feedback as we picked out our appetizers, entrees and desserts. We consistently heard from our guests how delicious the food was and how kind and professional the catering staff was. Finally, if I haven't already sold you on Best Impressions, ask any of your staff about the best catering in Charlotte and they will suggest Best Impressions immediately.

Donald and his team at Best Impressions are no doubt the best you can get in the area! Every bite we tried at our tasting was yummy and they were able to do the same on a much larger scale for our reception and cocktail hour. They were very professional and easy to communicate with, as well. To top it off they even had an assigned staff member to take care of my new husband and I starting immediately after the ceremony, who took care of every detail and made sure we actually got fed!

Best Impressions did an AMAZING job with all of the food for my wedding day. My guests still talk about how wonderful everything was. You can't go wrong with them, every single thing we tried was great. We were especially impressed with all of our interactions and tasting with Adam, he did such a good job tailoring our menu and bar to exactly what we wanted. They are one of the best caterers in Charlotte for a reason!

Best Impressions was worth every penny. Their food and service was AMAZING! We personally worked with Crystal and she helped us through it all. We had so many questions along the way and she did a fabulous job making sure every detail was covered! The food was amazing and the wait staff was so kind and professional!

No hesitation in recommending Best Impressions! All aspects of our wedding were executed perfectly on a food perspective. Our 'semi custom' late night snack of truffle fries with cheese were a huge hit.

Adam Smith at Best Impressions is the best! He did a great job guiding us through the process and was wonderful to work with! Overall the food was amazing! They really delivered some awesome food (everyone raved about our food) and made sure my husband and I had plenty to eat of the appetizers from cocktail hour and our buffet. A few things I wasn’t prepared for that I’d flag for other couples is (1) you only get to try the items you picked to serve for your taste testing and it costs extra to try other items (not an issue for us bc the food was AMAZING, but I would have liked to sample other dessert options); and (2) we got none of the leftovers from the taste testing nor from our wedding. Neither of these were a huge deal for us in the grand scheme of things but wanted to flag for others. Otherwise absolutely amazing service and food!

Best Impressions Caterers went above and beyond with us. They willingly answered all of our questions and made my dad's wants and needs for our reception's food and drink menus a reality. The food was EXCEPTIONAL! Everyone keeps saying it's the best food (wedding or otherwise) they've ever had.

Adam is an expert wedding consultant. Of the probably 300 questions we had in the months of planning, he answers them all and give personable advise and insight. Brings enthusiasm to the planning process and helps navigate, they also are a resource for every vendor you probably need. This is the best Catering company in Charlotte. We are really impressed with how they run and plan out events.

Adam was super great to work with. I always had a million questions, and he was very responsive, professional, and positive. Best Impressions had a great menu to choose from, and I was very happy with our selections. We did a buffet with beef tenderloin, crab cakes, and sweet potato ravioli as the entrees and cauliflower au gratin and roasted fingerling potatoes as the sides. I was very pleased that we were able to have all 3 entries on our plates! Best Impressions also provided non-alcoholic drinks, coffee, and an ice cream sundae bar. I received many compliments on the food. One of my guests attended another wedding the day after mine and later told me that my food was better! Everyone really enjoyed the food, as did I. Even the leftovers were delicious! Top quality food. I was referred by Erin Padgett (bridal boutique owner) and also by Amanda Caputo (wedding coordinator), and I see why!

AH-MAZ-ING. Donald and his staff at Best Impressions did a terrific job!!! Not only was the staff terrific but the food was incredible. All of our guests were in awe with how delicious the seabass and filet were and loved the sauces that came with them. We interviewed several caterers for our big day and chose Best Impressions because they offered the duet entree (which made RSVPs SO much easier) and in large part because of how Donald explained how they cooked and kept the food warm so that it didn't dry out. They were 100% top notch in all aspects and couldn't recommend them highly enough!

I was so impressed with Adam and his team at Best Impressions! They were super helpful with multiple COVID-related date changes. About 3 months before our wedding, we decided to change venues and go with Vanlandingham Estate. I was slightly panicked when looking for a new venue at the last minute. I had never actually heard of VLE, and reached out to Adam about some of their other venues. He suggested VLE and I toured it and absolutely fell in love with it. I’m so glad we had our wedding there instead of our original venue - the space was absolutely beautiful! It rained all day, but it didn’t really matter because we had a tent so we were still able to eat outside and it wasn’t a problem at all. Best Impressions also handled the catering for the event. Their food was absolutely delicious. We are still getting compliments from our guests about how great the food was! I would definitely recommend Best Impressions for catering and Vanlandingham as a venue.

This food is amazing ! I got so many compliments on The beef tenderloin and the mashed potato bar. They have amazing food and service ! Totally awesome all around !

We hired best impressions for our wedding on June 5th. The food was incredible, and well worth the cost! We had our wedding set up as stations to accommodate all dietary and allergy needs (as there were ALOT), and the entire best impressions team was so diligent and did not disappoint! We also requested no cake, and did a cannoli cutting instead, which the team was so accommodating of! The entire team was incredibly responsive, we worked with Donald as our contact person, and Taylor took care of my husband and I all night. She was incredible, made sure we had a little bit of each station on our sweetheart table as soon as we returned from making our rounds. She also was incredibly responsive regarding drinks, knowing our specific orders, and having a replacement ready to go before we even had to ask. It was a wonderful experience!!

We used Best Impressions for our wedding and we are so glad! We went with butler-passed hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour, a buffet style dinner, a cutting cake and mini-dessert table, and bar mixers and their bartenders for our open bar - ALL through Best Impressions! They did not disappoint!! The food was delicious, the drinks were flowing, everything was set up beautifully, and the service was great. Shannon, our point of contact, was so attentive and helpful throughout the whole process, and answered all of our questions. Best Impressions is professional, good at what they do, delicious, and super creative- a 10/10!

The food at our wedding was absolutely delicious. And not just delicious “for a wedding,” but REALLY good. One of our guests said it was the best meal he’s ever had. Everyone is still talking about the appetizers—I think one guest ate an entire meal’s worth of fried oysters! In addition, Crystal and the BI team were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the stressful wedding planning process (made even more stressful by COVID and two postponements). Crystal helped us reimagine our “stations” menu to make it a more COVID-safe seated dinner. BI was willing to make anything we wanted come to life. The bar service was also top notch; they sourced our favorite local beer and all. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them for an event in the future.

Holy moly did Best Impressions knock it out of the park! My husband and I started planning our wedding right before COVID hit, so we had to evolve our plans a number of times. (We went from a buffet/station basic setup for ~115 people to a 6-course traditional Italian feast for 23!) Donald was brilliant to work with throughout the whole planning process, and he really understood our vision for the wedding. We loved being able to partner with Best Impressions on our menu; and when it came to execution, the team was flawless! Everything was presented beautifully, and guests said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, hands-down. (One even said it was the best meal he'd ever had!) The Best Impressions team of servers was attentive throughout the night - they brought the two of us a plate of hors d'ouevres when we were doing "virtual guest visits" during cocktail hour, and they even helped with pausing music for toasts! Would highly recommend working with Best Impressions - hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Out of this world! The staff and service at Best Impressions is top notch. The food was unbelievable, and my guests are still talking about it (the cauliflower au gratin is to die for). We worked with the planner Adam, and he went above and beyond on our wedding day! He was always there asking what the groom and I needed (more wine, more food, etc). Can’t recommend this caterer enough :)

We used Best Impressions for our daughters wedding this past weekend. If you are looking for an amazing caterer this is it! The food was amazing and the staff was so professional. They served everyone quickly. They made sure the bride and groom had a lovely meal before the reception started and even packed left overs for us to take home. Donald is so easy to work with and always gets back to you promptly with any information you need. There are so many food choices available and he helps you pick the best one. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

Best Impressions Caterers deserves five stars in EVERY category! I worked with Best Impressions for our son's Rehearsal Dinner, and committed to hiring them in February 2020, right before Covid hit (our event was in August of 2020). Needless to say, our event took numerous twists and turns amidst the virus and it's uncertainty. Crystal could not have been more wonderful and more patient with me as I navigated the difficulty of decision-making during this strange time. Even when I knew that I was emailing her entirely too much with my wishy-washiness, she responded with emails that always began with "thank you for reaching out." She not only welcomed my emails, but she went out of her way to help me create the most magical night for our son and his bride! Everything was PERFECT... from the setting she helped me create in our backyard (with her connections and relationship with Party Reflections and help with tents and the layout) , to the INCREDIBLE menu she helped me to create (the food was amazing, and we received so very many compliments on it), to the service of those who worked our event, to the set up and break down... I could go on and on! The day of our event Crystal swooped in at 4:30, and in a matter of minutes, her team had set up all the tables and chairs, and the bar, and they took the liberty to jump right on putting out the linens and did not ask me to help with one thing! They created a beautiful atmosphere long before our guests arrived. Once the guests started coming, Crystal helped me to navigate the night and a plan for moving the event along, and was a very calming and helpful presence for me. The staff cleaned up and did not leave one thing a mess or one thing behind, except the leftovers of our food and desserts, packed neatly in containers in our refrigerator. I could not get over how smoothly our night moved along, and how DELICIOUS EVERYTHING was, and how helpful the staff was to me personally. It was amazing! Best Impressions comes with the HIGHEST of a wonderful recommendation from our family! I do not want to jump into any important catering event without them, and will definitely be reaching out to them the next time we are in need of catering. There are not enough good things I can say about Best Impressions catering. I would say that my wedding setup was difficult in that the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all completely outdoors with everything being serviced with generators. In addition, my wedding started about 30 minutes late and Best Impressions never skipped a beat. They provided amazing quality food that my guests raved about! Everything was presented beautifully, tasted wonderful, and everyone was pleasantly surprised with the large portions provided. The quality of service with the bartenders and waiters were also extremely professional. As a bride, the day went by extremely quickly. The servers actually found my husband and I to provide us appetizers as we were going to miss the majority of our cocktail hour, brought us drinks and packaged a to-go box for us to bring home for late night snacking. I highly recommend Best Impressions as a caterer for a wedding or any other major event. They exceeded expectations in every way and I greatly appreciated them remaining on top of things as they changed throughout the day to reduce our stress and let us enjoy our special day!

When planning my daughters wedding I knew I wanted good food. Let’s face it there are hundreds of caterers in the Charlotte /Concord area. I knew right away if I would take a second look by the menu, website and my first phone call. We cannot day enough good things about Best Impressions the good was out of this world. We wanted filet mingnon and did a duet option with chicken. The butler passed Appetizers were awesome and the staff was so great. Crystal was so great to work with and very responsive!! I would highly recommend Best Impressions!!

Matt and I wanted a North Carolina meets Cleveland, OH inspired menu incorporating both our backgrounds. Best Impressions delivered a wonderful stations set up incorporating NC BBQ and a delicious Pierogi Bar that was a major hit with our friends, some who had never had them. This theme carried from appetizers to desserts. The point is, they worked with us to create exactly what we wanted, within our budget and delivered. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the food was and neither could we. Best is an understatement, this truly is the top caterer in Charlotte and we'd recommend them time and again.

If I could add a couple of stars just due to the above and beyond service- I would. 5 stars is an understatement for their service and food at our wedding. Everything from the initial consultation to the tastings, the responsiveness, and their execution of the day of our wedding was remarkable. The food was a huge hit at our wedding and we recieved multiple compliments on the food, dessert and service that was delivered. If you are looking to knock it out of the park at your wedding or any event where you are looking to service fine food and really impress your guests, Best Impressions is hands down your ONLY option. My husband and I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us.

We could not be more grateful that we booked Best Impressions for our wedding cocktail hour and reception. Literally every bite was DELICIOUS and beautifully styled to boot! The staff was uber professional while also still having a good time - shout out to Stephanie, our Event Manager, who was the single best individual we worked with! She took such detailed care of the bridal party and family, on top of running a super smooth event with multiple bars, stations, and circling staff. We could not be more pleased with their service! They even worked with our venue to source several products, which really meant a lot. It shows that they care and are invested in the quality of their product matching your event - no cookie-cutter here! Shrimp and grits, crab cakes, pulled pork, slab bacon pimento cheese bites, the unctuous salad station were all highlights!!

Best Impressions Caterers is genuinely worth every penny. They were extremely helpful in guiding us on pricing to make sure that we had the perfect meal. During our photos, they made sure that food from the cocktail hour was getting down to the bridal party. They also were helping us get our drink orders in so that we could start partying a little before the reception. During the reception, they made sure that we had everything that we needed and were so perfect in the cleanup. I have heard so many amazing things about them, and I truly understand why! I will find any excuse to have catering done through them in the future!

We had such a great experience with Best Impressions Caterering this year! Hosting quality nonprofit events can be tricky, but Crystal and her whole team treated us like valued customers and worked with us at every turn. Look forward to working with them again in the future!

We had a wonder wedding reception for our daughter and son in law at Byron's Southend catered by Best Impression Caterers. Crystal Harrell and the rest of the Byron's staff were professional, friendly and easy to work with. All of our questions were answered promptly which made the planning process much less stressful than we anticipated. The renovated venue was gorgeous. We were able to customize the layout to fit our needs. The food was delicious. All of our guests had a great time and we continue to receive compliments about the reception.

Best Impressions had the BEST food of all the caterers we tried. We used them for both our plated dinner and our dessert station. Everyone loved the food and they were very professional. Our venue recommended Best Impressions because they not only have the best food, but they clean up nicely after the event is over. I am so happy we went with them. From the very beginning, my husband and I were very impressed by Best Impressions. We worked with Justin king who helped us put our menu together as well as organize the rentals we used for our wedding. Justin was very helpful with everything during our planning process. Best Impressions delivered. The food throughout the night was incredibly tasty and they were extremely accommodating when serving our guests the featured cocktail. They were also flexible with us when we needed to incorporate our decor/desserts. My only suggestion for BI would be to compile a checklist for couples without a planner. We felt we needed to ask a lot of questions to discover information that wasn't initially provided. Depends on your personality, but I love to see the details available and what we should expect!

The best ever. Okay, so, their food is phenomenal. If you dream it, they will make it (including our pad thai station, highly recommend) and it will exceed anything anyone you know has ever served at their wedding. But you can read that in the other reviews. What you might not know, however, is that while the food is exceptional, the service is actually impeccable as well. When our ceremony venue only set up chairs for 65% of our guests (ugh yes really) the BI team was SPRINTING in 95' heat to get our remaining chairs in place. We also (per the 95' heat) had a fake cake with slices in the back - the BI team carried that thing to the back to cut like it was the heaviest cake ever so that our guests would be none the wiser. Every single step of the way they overdelivered - the food, yes, insane, not wedding food, so good - but everything else you might ever need too. Can't be beaten, just hire them. Thank you BI for not just delivering an awesome meal, but also saving our day so many times over!

Best Impressions catered our uptown Charlotte wedding and were absolutely AMAZING! The food was excellent and the servers professional, kind, thoughtful and hardworking. We loved the Ahi Tuna Lollipop and Baked Brie En Croute hors d'oeuvres and the duet entree of Fillet Mignon and Chicken Florentine was DELICIOUS! We received so many compliments from our guests and thoroughly enjoyed the meal ourselves. Best Impressions was incredibly accommodating of our guests with dietary restrictions, thoughtful and flexible working with our venue and made renting the flatware, chairs etc. we liked so easy. It was an absolute pleasure working with them!
