AJ is the worst manager I’ve ever spoken to. EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. A DISGUSTING MAN AND A SCAMMER. I had my wedding here and this is everything that ruined it. - Didn’t stick to the pricing the previous manager we booked with. Charged us for things that were never agreed upon. - when I brought it up and told him how ever since the last manager left we’ve had nothing but problems with them, he sent back a very rude and unprofessional message stating we were wrong about everything. - said as long as the guests got what they expected that’s all that mattered. The guests DIDNT get what they expected. WE should be the ones he should be worried about as we are paying him. - lied about the rooms we blocked and told my bridesmaid that they were all booked so she couldn’t get a discount. I had 15 rooms blocked and only one person ended up staying. So there is no way they were all booked. - staff was rude - I complained about the bathroom in the bridal suite (that was supposed to be included and he charged us for it) because the toilet had this pukey colored stain where the water didn’t drain. I also complained about the cabinet in my husband and I’s honeymoon suite because it was literally falling off of the wall it was on. The manager proceeded to say that there is nothing wrong and they’ve never had any complaints. - the menu was wrong. We wanted pork and chicken and they served pork and steak - made my makeup artist wait in the lobby instead of getting set up in the bridal suite because we were running behind on our hair. Turns out they never had the room ready for us. - black duct tape held the dance floor together, which ruined my photos - the chandelier was crooked - Room was rented until midnight but after I came back downstairs after changing out of my dress they locked it all up and the lights were off. There were still several items I needed to grab from in there. - they almost didn’t let my husband check in to our room because I wasn’t there. When he is literally the groom AND his name was on the reservation. - staff that was helping clean up were talking about how it was ridiculous that the bride and groom weren’t hardly even at the reception and that it was all a waste of time. - the manager keeps lying to try and make himself look better. I had a family member reach out to him about the escalated pricing and he said that he gave us a discount on the room rental and that he was kind enough to give his microphones to the DJ. Both of those are false. The weekDAY rate was different than the weekEND rate, if he has a problem with it then he can change it but he made it seem like he went out of his way to do that for us. I asked the DJ if he used their microphones and he said no. The DJ was never even offered a microphone let alone used theirs. - when we tried to present proof that his pricing was wrong he immediately got a bad attitude and threatened to take us to litigation. Over all, we were expecting to pay maybe at the MOST $2,500 (for food and the deluxe package we asked for) but his invoice was for $3,700. Went in to pay it and AJ wasn’t even there. Called the next day, still wasn’t there. A manager should always be available. The attitude he gave us without even offering to help resolve the situation was just baffling. He should not be in the position he is in and they need better staff members or something done about their attitudes.
