Everyone at the Best Western Ramkota was extremely easy to work with. My new husband and I went in to talk to them a few time just to nail down all of the details and the information we got back was always perfect (none of that 'oops I forgot to add that to your banquet order' business). The space was beautiful (and will be renovated soon!). Penny was always quick to respond to an email. They truely made our day special.

Matthew was absolutely perfect to work with and did all the communicating with my decorator, dj, videographer and photographer. The food was amazing and the venue was gorgeous. They made any accommodation we requested and we're always so pleasant to work with.

Spacious.. Room is big enough for everyone to move freely. They will provide you with everything from chairs, tables, open bar, dance floor and more for a very affordable price. If you book with them, the reception hall is all yours for the day.

We loved having our wedding at the Best Western Ramkota in Aberdeen! For a wedding of 440 people, they were able to have our meal very efficient and the set up and tear down were fabulous. Some things we would have changed would be to request the second bar remain open after 10:00. We also didn't receive the specific type of vegetables we requested but they were still great.

Had complaints from guests that staff were rude. Had several complications with paperwork and rehearsal dinner. Reserved rooms under my name for family. Had several complications with getting my family checked in. Would not reccomend. Catering Staff were amazing. Catering Manager was awesome.

I'd wanted to have my wedding reception at the Aberdeen Ramkota ever since I started thinking what my wedding would be like. Overall, the experience was great. There were a few bumps along the way - I had trouble touching base with the catering manager, for example, but when it got closer to the time of the wedding, all of my questions were answered. I hired a decorator that was non-affiliated with the hote, and when I checked in the morning of the wedding, she didn't have all her materials. But they were easily found and problem solved. Our meal was absolutely fantastic. Guests chose between the Montreal Pork Chop and the Italian Chicken Breast. Everything tasted wonderful - our food got rave reviews from our guests. Two small complaints on the service - the staff didn't bus the tables after dinner and there was quite a mess of empty bottles and glasses by the end of the night. Also, the bartender wouldn't serve me a drink without a drink ticket! I was wearing a full wedding gown and clearly didn't have cash on me. In hindsight, we should have probably had that arranged beforehand, but still. The price was right on par with the other hotels in town. Overall, I would definately recommend the Aberdeen Ramkota to anyone planning a wedding.
