I can't recommend Bethany Blues enough! Everyone has mentioned to me how wonderful the food at my wedding was. Kathy was incredible from start to finished. She kept me on track and organized and was always available to answer my questions. The day of the wedding she made sure my husband and I were able to tuck away privately to enjoy fresh apps and also served us directly to the sweetheart table so we could actually eat on our wedding. She left our venue (which was on our property) just as clean as it was when they arrived. The pricing really seems steep but when you see how much work and food was there you would understand why! Don't forget to select a late night bar - you will NOT be disappointed!

We can’t say enough about our wedding caterer, Bethany Blues! They were professional from start to finish…Kathy and her team were fantastic to work with. From our first call, to the tasting, to developing the menu, to the big day, they were super easy to work with, very responsive, and really helpful with great advice. Definitely recommend!

All I can say is AMAZING! The food was even better than the tasting and the servers were extremely attentive and professional. The bartenders were quick and all of our guests gave nothing but compliments. It's been over a month and people are still raving about the food. They even went above and beyond and helped us clean up our centerpieces after the reception was over. Their pastry chef Nicole did a stunning job on our delicious wedding cake. We had a backyard wedding and they were extremely helpful in making sure we had the correct tables, chairs and layout that was necessary to make the day seamless. We will be recommending them to everyone we know.

Kathy and her team at Bethany Blues were incredible at my wedding in November. Every person I talked to that evening RAVED over how amazing the food was. The service was excellent, food was out quick, tables were fed quickly, & the drink lines were never backed up for long. Kathy was so hands on with my husband and I and was constantly making sure we were fed & had plenty to drink. She even saved me extra mac & cheese from cocktail hour because she knew that was all I was waiting for and we didn't make it to cocktail hour because we were taking pictures. I was so incredibly impressed and if I EVER need another catering vendor in that area, Bethany Blues, especially Kathy, will be my first call.

We are so glad that we went with Bethany Blues as the caterer for our wedding. Kathy and the staff constantly made sure that my husband and I were able to try out the appetizers and buffet food throughout the cocktail hour & reception and just to check if we needed anything. The food was delicious - the guests specifically commented on the corn bread with honey butter and the tenderness of the beef brisket. One of our guests even said that it was the best food they had ever had at any wedding! We would highly recommend Bethany Blues for any couples looking for a caterer for their wedding!

Bethany Blues was so easy to work with! Understanding, flexible, reliable - we didn't worry about any aspect of the catering even once. Food all turned out great! Didn't hurt that they are home to our nephews's favorite mac and cheese :)

Kathy and her team at Bethany Blues were amazing! Throughout the entire process, Kathy was so great and easy to work with. She was so quick to respond to any question I had and went above and beyond to check in with my other vendors to make sure everything was in order leading up to the day. Throughout the wedding day, Kathy and her team were constantly checking in with me and my husband to make sure we had food and something to drink. Not only did our guests rave about the food but also the service! We had a large wedding and there was never a wait at the bar. We also used Nicole for our desserts and everything was delicious and so gorgeous! I could not recommend Bethany Blues enough!

Go with Bethany Blues. Just do it. This was, by far, the best decision I made for our wedding! The food is FANTASTIC and Kathy is amazing to work with. All our guests absolutely loved the food and incredible service from the staff!

We used Bethany Blues for our wedding at Hopkins Heartland and were absolutely thrilled with them! From the very beginning, their event manager Kathy was helpful, pleasant, knowledgeable and reliable. She got back to us very quickly with any requests and updates and made the catering process easy. The service at the wedding was great, the team worked well together to ensure everything went smoothly and the food was great. Many of our guests complimented the food and told us they loved it. The bartenders were quick and we never had a line of more than a few people. Overall they did an amazing job and we would highly recommend!! Thank you BB!

Bethany Blues hands down killed it for our wedding! From the constant and prompt communication leading up to with Kathy. To the outstanding and delicious food and desserts (by their baker Nicole). Bethany Blues catered our wedding and they were AMAZING!!! The food and the service, all are top notch! The food was a huge hit and everyone loved it. One of our groomsmen had 4 plates worth of food, And one of our bridesmaids said a week later she was still drooling over the food. Also, the desserts were an even bigger hit as we did a bunch of different assorted desserts for everyone. One of the guests said that was the best “invention” ever and she tried all of them and loved the idea and how they tasted so much. She said she now has high wedding expectations for desserts. Who also did a cake and that was awesome too! Everything was perfect, and we really appreciated how they came to the beach while we were getting pictures and gave us a drink and some food, it meant a lot! Their team goes above and beyond and we just had such a magical day!

We have been regulars at Bethany Blues for years, so we knew all about their delicious food and diverse menu. But the catering was above and beyond in a way we couldn't even imagine. Kathy is incredible. She helped us create the wedding menu of our dreams (offering her advice like what appetizers guests seem to love at all events). She made sure that even with COVID-19 restrictions our bar service and buffet could be executed perfectly. The staff was professional and pleasant. On the wedding day itself, Kathy created personal touches (like bringing a platter of the passed apps to us while we had our bridal party shoot) that made us feel so well taken care of, on top of our guests. Plus Nicole's desserts were so perfect and she was such a joy to work with, even when we changed things last minute. Bethany Blues is simply the best caterer in the area, offering options for vegan guests and kids menus (all at an amazing price) and we are so grateful to have them on our team.

Bethany Blues BBQ was the perfect choice for the rehearsal dinner. Exactly what we wanted but with an extra helping of kindness. First of all, Jessica and the entire staff was professional and so accommodating. We communicated from out of town much of the time and Jessica made it easy! She made sure everything was top-notch right from our taste-testing to our special signature drink (each hand-made using freshly squeezed fruit) and the cozy room. Secondly, the food choices were outstanding (including a last minute special plate for our nephew) , it was delicious and our guests loved everything (many stayed after the party to enjoy Bethany Blues' social atmosphere). So fun!

Great food, great service, and a great experience overall. Nicole was very easy to work with and was able to accommodate us just 4 months before our wedding date when we dropped our original catering vendor due to a lack of communication and professionalism. She was there personally at all tastings and our big event, and made sure my husband and I were served and had our glasses full throughout the night. Side note: Our tented wedding at IRLSS had to be briefly evacuated due to torrential rain and lightning storms, but the Bethany Blues crew was able to keep the cocktail hour going and serve guests as they huddled in a nearby building to wait out the storm cell. Talk about above and beyond! There were also a LOT of leftovers (which we got to take home), so I'd suggest underestimating your headcount by 5-10 people if you do buffet style dining.

The food is amazing, everyone was stuffed and loved it. The risotto bar was a huge hit! The staff was extremely attentive and helpful to everyone.

Bethany Blues Catering services was out of this world for our wedding day. As local Delawareans, we could not have been more honored to have Bethany Blues cater our wedding. From the beginning, Jessica was extremely easy to work with and have a great time with at the catering meetings. She was on top of every little detail and added invaluable wedding experience tips to our wedding day. The food was not only spectacular, but it was affordable and Jessica was attentive and worked with all sized budgets to make the day wonderful. The set up and take down was all assisted with the catering staff and their hard work and organization. The staff was extremely attentive throughout the night, yet you didn't even know they were there at the same time! I trusted them with all the seamless transitions from cocktail hour to reception and the buffet flowed flawlessly through dinner. We were able to choose an array of options that pleased our large wedding. If we had to do it again, we would absolutely choose Bethany Blues Catering!

Jessica Nathan and Bethany Blues were amazing at our wedding. In addition to doing all the things they said they would like set up, catering, bartending (great bartender - btw!) and clean up, they also were extremely helpful in other situations. For example, we had a picnic style wedding and therefore had cupcakes for guests, but a little cake for us to cut (tradition, I guess) but the cake vendor didn't have plates and when we realized this Jess came running over with more plates for us to use! Side note - use the bamboo plates they offer, they look nicer than plastic plates in my opinion, are heavier and sturdier than plastic plates, and are environmentally conscious! Oh, and of course the food was spectacular! They made the groom and myself a plate so we didn't have to stop greeting and talking to our guests to go through the line, and they made us a leftovers plate to take home! Just absolutely spectacular. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the brisket. They all agreed with me - best brisket I've ever had. Thanks again Jess!

Jessica Nathan & her team at Bethany Blues were incredible. Punctual, polite, fun and high-energy. Helped with set-up and breakdown. Food at the Lewes restaurant has always been amazing, it was fantastic to have it at our wedding. On-site smoker was perfect. They even packaged up our left-overs and held them in the restaurant until the next day for us to pick up. Drinks were delicious and a very heavy pour :). Would not recommend anyone else but Bethany Blues. They can do stations, buffet, plated dinners, anything you need!

AMAZING! FANTASTIC! WOULD DO IT AGAIN!!!!! Love this place, the staff, and the FOOD! The crab cakes were to die for and the crab dip was MAGNIFICENT! I cannot rave enough about the wings, platters, professionalism, and help these guys pitched-in on. Always made sure I had food and my new hubby had everything we needed. THE SMORES BAR WAS A HIT!!!!! This was one of the best parts of our wedding! People are still talking about how cool it was to have a smores bar! Everyone should have these guys! They are one-in-a-million! Thank you for helping make our day absolutely MAGNANIMOUS!

We had our rehersal dinner at Bethany Blues, the place were we met and frequent. It was wonderful (as expected), but there was plenty of food, the room was set up and they were very accomadation!

We are so happy that we chose to have our rehearsal dinner at Bethany Blues! We had so much fun designing our invitations for our "I Do BBQ" and Bethany Blues provided the perfect location for a casual and laid back vibe for the night before our special day. The private room in the back was exactly the perfect size for our party of about 35 people. We were able to play a picture slideshow that we had created and also bring in our own playlist of music to play throughout the night. Jessica and the entire staff was so accommodating and helpful during the planning process. The food and service was so amazing. We decided to go with the buffet, which allowed guests to select just the amount of food they wanted and to try from the array of sides and main dishes. The staff made the best recommendations and the food was absolutely delicious and it was so much that we had leftovers to enjoy during our family party the day after the wedding. The cold italian pasta salad, potato salad and veggies paired perfectly with the pulled pork and beef brisket, which were cooked to perfection and everyone enjoyed the array of sauces. The served salad was the perfect starter, the cornbread was amazing I could have eaten the entire bowl, and everyone devoured the strawberry shortcake dessert which was so fresh and fruity and with the perfect amount of whipped cream. The servers kept all the glasses full with beer and wine from the open bar selections and our guests were able to move around the room, mingle all night, and we cannot rave enough about how helpful and friendly the staff is. My parents are regulars at Bethany Blues for wing night during the week and the staff was so excited to see us there. We cannot wait to return and definitely recommend this location to any bride and groom looking for the perfect casual, pre wedding gathering for your wedding party to mingle in casual, fun and relaxed atmosphere.

The service was out of this world! My dad has been in the restaurant business and is a stickler when it comes to food and service, and he was beyond impressed! The food was great, buffet style so everyone was fed well, and they were always asking how we were. They exceeded every expectation we had from the time we met until the end of the night with clean-up. They even snuck a card in for my husband and I.
