BG Catering Concepts

ns, and provided a great in-person tasting experience to help us with meal selections and prepare us for the wedding day! She truly made the catering process so easy, helping us to customize anything we wanted and giving us the confidence to know it would all be great. The team did a phenomenal job on the wedding day and was incredibly organized throughout the entire service of cocktail hour and the reception. Our guests were even complimented on how smoothly the food service went! Truly cannot thank Mai and the BG Catering team enough for all that they did to make everything perfect! We would absolutely recommend them for any events.

e wanted and stayed within our budget. When we wanted to add/tweak things in the weeks leading up to the wedding, they were more than happy to accommodate. Not to mention the food was amazing! Tim was also incredibly organized, which we very much so appreciated.

ade us even more confident when dealing with key decisions. The food from BG was DELICIOUS during our tasting and somehow was EVEN BETTER on the day of the wedding which is the true test of a catering/events business - they delivered on the day of, at scale! The other major advantage of working with BG is that you're able to have both food and alcoholic drinks from the same vendor which offers greater cost efficiency and lower stress (one less vendor to think about). We can't help but rave about Denise's ability to balance being focused on FLAWLESS EXECUTION, while also realizing that weddings are supposed to be a magical day for the couple and their guests...so it helped that she kept it really fun too! The BG staff moved with swift purpose and the bartenders were also great at keeping the party going. All in all we were very happy and satisfied - to whoever the couple is reading this, look no further, you've found your go-to vendor...we wish you the best for your special day! Summary: 5 stars Two enthusiastic thumbs up Would recommend Lovely balance of professional/personal Just give them a call and see for yourself Cheers, J&H

g never planned a wedding before, we were nervous in finding a company that would treat us as humans (not just another customer to help their bottom line), in addition to serving excellent food for our guests. Luckily enough, BG was a recommended vendor from our wedding venue and the first catering company we reached out to. While they do offer an array of services we used BG for our starters, plated meals and dessert. Every idea that we thought was impossible became a reality with no questions asked. We cannot put in numbers how many of our guests are still talking about the food from our wedding night - we are still getting asked who our caterers were 2 weeks later! Aside from the food, Denise worked with us to make sure every detail was in place leading up to our big day and was at the venue during the reception to ensure everything went according to plan. If we could do everything over again, we would work with Denise and the team at BG in a heartbeat. If you have the opportunity, do not second guess working with BG. My husband and I, in addition to all of our guests can assure you that you will not be disappointed!

inning-BG just got it. They understood what it was that we were looking for in a menu, dinner style, flow of the evening, etc. The food was delicious - and yes - we got to actually eat our food thanks to Denise and her staff of the evening! our wedding had a lot of DIY elements that we had a specific vision for and BG really nailed it. We are so happy with the service we recieved and highly recommend Denise and BG Events to others!

initial consultation with very vague thoughts about our reception (no goat cheese, maybe use the color blue?) and sat down with Denise who spent several hours getting a feel for us as a couple and then tuned around an inspired customized menu that reflected our blend of New England and Puerto Rican roots. (We have been raving to all our friends/family about how wonderful this initial consultation was!) On the day of our wedding, Denise, Margaret, and Betty brought our vague ideas to life and the execution of it all was simply stunning. The color scheme, the decor, the food-everything was perfect. Ilona’s gorgeous floral design for our bridal bouquets and boutonnières should also be mentioned as we used BG’s in-house florist. When we hired Denise and the BG team we came out not only with incredible food and menu planning but also a professional event management staff who really brought together all the elements big and small to make our wedding day the best day ever.

istics in someone else's hands terrified me, but the BG team truly had everything under control. Once I arrived at the venue I didn't have to think of logistics or my timeline ONCE. Denise took care of everything, and even through scattered thunderstorms and shifting our ceremony location from outdoors, to indoors, to outdoors AGAIN she did it all calmly and with a smile. My husband called Denise "The Machine" because we have no idea how she could have been so incredibly calm, cool, collected, efficient, and organized through the entire process, which is EXACTLY what we needed. I should also add that our food was raved about, and they crafted the perfect menu for our day. THANK YOU!

every step of the way and helped us beyond what we could even imagine. Denise and the BG team worked with us to stay within our budget and even helped to talk with our venue to work on pricing. I can honestly say the our wedding was stress-free because of the incredible work by BG. The food was beyond incredible and I still have people coming up to me asking about the dishes and passed appetizers. Denise and her teams attention to detail and creative spark made the event space beyond amazing! They turned a bookstore into the most amazing wedding venue and I could not be more grateful. Denise was available throughout the entire planning process and even provided her personal cell. It really felt like we were working with family, but family that REALLY knew what they were doing! I had complete faith in what BG would deliver but was blown away on our actual wedding day. The custom farm tables, chuppah, and little details were so perfect. They were flexible with us and allowed for us to bring in speciality beer to be served while still using their services for a full bar! The day of staff were so attentive and helpful to us and all our guests. Every time I got off the dance floor I had a water and a drink waiting for me! I can't imagine having done this without all the help and support from Denise and the BG team!! They are extremely professional without being pretentious and deliver with class and personal detail. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

ving an all inclusive service offering catering, decor and florals. They are also familiar with a number of venues they have worked in the area so it was very helpful they knew the space so well. They pull out all the stops from your first meeting to the wedding execution. The food is absolutely spectacular, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and they took the reins working with our other vendores. B+G took all our little details and turned it into a fabulous day!

of the BG team! The whimsical vision they created was exactly what my daughter had in mind when she pictured her seaside wedding. Friends have been raving about the food, the specialty drinks and the outstanding decor. It was everything had imagined and so much more!!!

had to say something. First of all, the food was amazing, like what you would expect at a 5 star restaurant where the chefs were cooking for very few people. It was delicious, interesting, and displayed in a chic way. The waiters and bartenders were so nice and accommodating. You almost wanted to hang out with them as much as take an appetizer from one of their beautiful trays. There was never a moment when a waiter didn't magically pop up when I felt like trying another appetizer or needed to get rid of a napkin or wine glass. Finally, the look of the whole wedding was so cool - fun, but sophisticated and pulled together. My overall impression was that the combination of the food, the service, and the look made the whole experience both fun and professional, like I was at a party you really wanted to be at. Not always the case at weddings!

ery thing that came out was better than the next, not only taste but they way they put it on the platter was like a piece of art. When I asked who the caterer was the very nice waiter, Marius, said it was BG Catering. We looked into them after the wedding as we are now planning our daughter's wedding and they have been great. Denise got back to me right away and she remembered meeting me at the wedding. I was very impressed with the staff, the food and so far everything else.

BQ and tacos flavorful and sophisticated (with vegetarian-friendly options). Our guests couldn't stop telling us how much they loved the food and local beer at our event. The staff were also very professional and accommodating. I would highly recommend BG!

it easy for you to plan your wedding. Denise was amazing and is so easy to work with. Everything from the planning stages to day-of was very clear and our wedding was an absolute dream. We had compliments from all of our guests about the food, decor and florals! Everything was truly spectacular. The team at BG is phenomenal at what they do and I would recommend them to anyone who's about to get married in the Boston area.

nk them enough. Denise and Betty were responsive, creative, and receptive to our ideas throughout the entire planning process. Not only were they amazing to work with, but they also were able to take my handful of Pinterest inspiration pictures from our initial meeting and create what guests described as "a whimsical backyard fantasy." In addition to the team's talent, we were extremely impressed by their ability to execute so flawlessly. With last minute rain in the forecast, Denise and the team swooped in, made some necessary changes, and transformed the space entirely. I was able to remain calm and collected because they took care of everything, and guests had no idea there was ever another plan. Finally, I have to mention the food and drinks. Guests have been telling us that the food and specialty cocktails were the best they'd ever had at a wedding. They were blown away by the entire evening, and we owe it ALL to BG. There are a lot of decisions to make during the wedding planning process, but I promise you, choosing BG is one you will not regret!

game. Both weddings were absolutely spectacular. For this past one on 8/3/19, the team did the most incredible job of transforming outdoor space into a magical venue that brought the bride and groom's vision to life. The service by the bartenders and servers, the event planning (shoutout to Denise!), and every single person involved is second to none. They go above and beyond to make the day special for everyone involved and no detail is spared. And don't get me STARTED on the food and beverage! One word: WOW! Everything is unbelievable and special and delicious. If you don't choose BG, you are wrong. End of story!

om an amazing celebration this spring, and thanks to the extra effort provided by our coordinator, Margaret, my wife and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Chef Ethan and Denise helped us plan and tweak an incredible menu over the course of several months and our guests are still raving about the best wedding ever!

ould expect from a high-end company like this. Pros: The day of execution was flawless - my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing all night. The food tasted great, the beverage service was great, and the coordinators made sure everything ran on time. The initial meeting to discuss hiring BG as well as our food tasting was also very well-done. Cons: If you're someone who likes to plan in advance, you might be a bit frustrated - it seems like with the heavy schedule of events BG takes on, they really only focus on the detailed logistics of your wedding when it gets to be the last week or two beforehand. For example, by the time BG wanted to reach out to other vendors about the day of schedule (a week or so before my wedding), I had already created the timeline and coordinated with everyone myself. My impression is that if you let them handle everything (including decor, flowers, and providing liquor, none of which we got from BG), there would be less need for coordination, and so this would work out more smoothly (but would cost you more). Communication was hampered a bit by staff turnover, and multiple emails in the 1-2 months run up to the wedding were not answered promptly, although to BG's credit, once I called and expressed some disappointment about this, it was promptly corrected, and emails in the last 2 weeks were answered very quickly. Both our initial contract and our final invoice needed multiple rounds of corrections, and I was needlessly stressed out two days before my wedding correcting a more than $1500 over-billing (which required multiple phone calls and emails). While I think this billing issue was due to poor record-keeping, I could also see another stressed-out couple not realizing the error and just paying their bill that late in the game. Overall: The day of service at our wedding was great, and if you are willing to stay on top of your emails/phone calls (to document what you've agreed to and how much you are paying), they will definitely execute your vision. But considering the high level of competition in the Boston area, I just don't think the pre-event hassle was personally worth it for us.

for my August wedding. Originally from Boston, we were living in Atlanta at the time... do you know how difficult it is to plan a wedding remotely??? Challenging to say the least. We got married at the Boston Cyclorama, an entirely blank venue where we had to bring in EVERYTHING. For one, BG offers THE WHOLE SHEBANG - although they're more known for their food, they do the settings as well. Which made our lives 8,888 easier - plus, to work with them... let me just tell you: 1) Until we could get up to Boston, they met, answered, accommodated my parents as many times as they asked (and they asked A LOT). 2) They were incredibly responsive - I'm pretty sure I only had to wait a maximum of 48 hours for them to respond to any email... and typically it was less than 24 hrs. 3) DAY OF: I was NEVER without a drink in my hands. That's not even an exaggeration. Which when you talk to 100s of people, you always need that drink. 4) Denise listened to US and my parents. We had a pretty unique menu mixing Chinese food, Italian food, and Dominican food. When there was some type of food that culturally wasn't exactly correct, Denise went ALL OUT to make sure it was right. - I'm sure people can relate but sometimes, there are culturally certain foods that are suppose to be served at weddings :-) - For example, they accommodated a full Roast Pig (from Chinatown). 5) EVERYONE LOVED THE FOOD. In fact, they ate SOO much that many people said, no matter how much they drank... they never got... well you know. Without a doubt, would recommend BG. When I have my future events, they will no doubt be called again.

and her team were absolutely amazing from the very beginning of the planning process till the end. All day I’ve been getting calls and texts from our family and friends raving about the food and staff from the event. I literally cried when I walked into the tent and Denise and her team created the exact aesthetic I had been dreaming of! I’m going to miss working with them!!!

n to detail made the whole process such an amazing experience. Our tasting was such a fun and great time and Denise/Ethan followed up with us to make sure all of our questions and tweaks to the menu were addressed. The team ran the show behind the scenes and made sure everything was flawless.

food is delicious and the team is so creative in designing our menus, cocktails, and decor. Thank you BG!!

w where to begin! Everyone on the team has been so helpful and professional at each step of the process. They have taken the time to get to know us, listen to us, and collaborate with us to bring our vision for our wedding alive. They ensure every detail is perfect. In terms of food, the menu options they’ve provided us are so creative and delicious. They’ve been able to create a menu that caters to our Asian, Greek, and American backgrounds. Yum! Although I won’t be getting married again, I look forward to using them for my holiday work parties.

pectacular. My husband and I are both vegetarian, and we were able to carry out an absolutely delicious and 100% vegetarian wedding with BG. In addition, it's worth noting that BG is amazingly LGBT friendly, and treated us SO well. Thanks a ton to the entire BG team!

nds (New England seafood + Brazilian BBQ), and the food was both beautiful and delicious. When we had our menu tasting, Denise was great about writing down all the details of our feedback to make sure everything was just right. In addition, the decor was exactly as we requested - simple, elegant, classy. BG was great at both listening to our ideas, as well as helping out in areas where we weren't so sure what we wanted. The on-site team really knocked it out of the park, making sure to take care of us and every last detail (and save us a plate of food when we were too busy chatting with guests) - special thanks to Lauren and Samantha in particular. They coordinated everything so smoothly, including last minute changes due to rain. Lastly, while it was not inexpensive, Denise was more than happy to adjust the plans as we went along in order to keep things within budget. Thanks BG!

ible and delicious menu, and everyone was RAVING about the food. They also provided planning services so that we didn't need to hire a planner. They helped us build a timeline, work with other vendors, and just make the day go so perfectly and smoothly. Denise was so fun and professional - an absolutely pleasure to work with. Cannot stop beaming after the perfect day - thank you BG!!!

Center allowed, Denise at B&G was the first one I spoke to. She gave me the lay of the land when it comes to wedding planning and budgeting and was generous with her time. Then I went through the rest of that list. After spending a few weeks trying to get answers out of the other caterers, I came to realize that what made B&G the best option is the fact that they're not just caterers: they incorporate wedding planning into the budget. I still have no idea how, but they were among the most affordable out of the 9 caterers I called and reviewed, and none of the other caterers included wedding planning as part of the service. They have their own equipment and facilities, so they don't have to source much except the florals. I can't stress this enough. The other caterers don't have the capability or the interest in planning your wedding: they're concerned with the food and that's it. B&G is *fully* invested in your wedding, they're honest about cost, and most importantly, they know what they're doing. When I met with Denise the first time, she spent more than an hour with us at their office getting to know us. When our venue changed its mind and decided to deny us the two hours of load-in time B&G needed to get the wedding set up after the fact, Denise simply added staff to speed up the process, instantly deflating my worries. They provided seating software to get the venue designed exactly as we wanted. They sent a site manager to help us with the reception the day of which was invaluable. Needless to say, the day of was executed perfectly, despite the carfuls of personal items we delivered and all the moving parts with our photobooth, DJ, florist, and bartending. A shout out to Stephanie, who took extensive notes on to ensure it was all set up correctly. Their staff is so efficient, I remember coming back inside after the wedding to see if there was anything left for me to pick up, and the whole venue was pristine and ready to go for the next event. These are pros, I don't know how they do this day-in and day-out. They will save you on budget and heartache. So glad I settled on B&G, don't hesitate to do the same for your event!

ly for over a year, and she was always kind , helpful and SUPER knowledgeable. She clearly cares deeply about what she does, and it shows. The rest of the staff were all fantastic, most notably our amazing day of coordinator, Rebecca, who was assigned to us through B&G and she really was amazing. We couldn't have done it without her. The food was even better than I rememered from the tasting, and all our guests raved about the food! All in all, A++ experience, thanks B&G!!

we expected planning a wedding from a distance to be extra stressful and difficult. Denise and Baylee at BG Events totally proved us wrong. They streamlined the whole process for us in a way that made it so manageable and fun! They were personable and professional, their experience in the business extremely apparent; they thought through every last detail and executed our vision for the day beautifully. On the day itself, they eased all of our worries and assured us that our only responsibility was to celebrate with our family and friends. And I'd be remiss to not mention the food! We chose to do family style and I'm so glad we did because it meant that we each got to try so many of their dishes. Every last bite was delicious and our guests haven't stopped reminding us of it! If I can offer you two pieces of advice, I will say this: book BG Events right this minute and choose the donut bar!

vital for us. Denise was always very communicative, and answered many of our questions which helped eased anxiety from having to plan from so far away. The day went smoothly with our BG coordinator Rebecca, the food was amazing, and the venue looked beautiful. Wedding planning is stressful, and you want a group like GB who are competent and excel at what they do!

ght questions and helped us plan a great event. Everything went flawlessly thanks to their great staff. Tasty food all done right. It was a HUGE plus that they only take one event a day so our day-of team was committed to us. Our main coordinator with BG got sick on our wedding day but her fill-in was more than able and things were completely seamless. They were always willing to come up with ideas and run with things. I would recommend that, because BG is good and does these things so well, that if you have things you want or need or want to try out SPEAK UP because they're happy to accommodate. BG isn't inexpensive (but not by far the most expensive) but they were worth every single penny. Would totally go with them again in a heartbeat - and not just because they always made sure my husband and I always had a drink in our hands!

on of a backyard party on the river come to life. Our guests literally tell us it was one of, or the best wedding, they have ever attended. From the delicious food, to the engaging staff, to the attention to flowers and decorative details, it was just perfect. Even more, Denise and Baylee’s personal approach through the planning, lead to an enjoyable and trusting relationship that let us let go of the details and fully enjoy our wedding day, and create wonderful memories. A perfect match for a day that became much more than we ever imagined.

ne on staff was so incredibly friendly and accommodating of our rowdy crew. Denise and Baylee coordinated the event flawlessly, and worked so well with the other vendors on site. Communication throughout the planning process was pretty consistent, and pricing was fair and transparent which made staying on budget possible. We also took advantage of BG's in-house florist, whose prices were significantly lower than any other florist I spoke with, and the flowers absolutely exceeded expectations! Overall great experience with BG - so glad we used them for our wedding!

, MA in September 2017. There were various catering companies on the preferred vendor list and once we spoke to Denise on the phone we knew that she was who we wanted to go with. We live in Maryland and were worried about planning the wedding from far away but between Denise & Baylee they took care of everything. They had experience working with the museum and out of town brides and completely reassured us that we were in good hands. Throughout the planning process they worked with us to create not only a menu that was perfect for our taste, but were so knowledgeable and helpful regarding what equipment / event rentals we would need for the big day and offered their experiences in how we could repurpose everything. They understood our vision and worked with us to make it a reality. We had our ceremony and reception in the same room and the BG team was able to flip the room during cocktail in under an hour and it looked absolutely incredible. On the day of, with Baylee managing the event and Denise right by our side the entire day, we were able to completely enjoy our wedding and not have to worry about any of the logistics. BG Events gave Keegan and I an amazing stress-free wedding and we couldn’t have asked for anything else!

the best. They were attentive throughout the entire process of planning the wedding, and were continuously responsive to all of our questions. They were able to take all of our ideas and make them come to life- and many of their own suggestions were so creative. For example, we wanted to do a buffet style wedding, and Denise suggested family style. It was an absolute hit at our wedding. Denise and Baylee, with their amazing event staff, ensured that our wedding day went off without a hitch. Many of out guests commented on how attentive and nice the event staff was the entire day/night. Also.... the food.... amazing. Its been a month since our wedding and we continue to have family/friends tell us that the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding (especially the short rib!). Matt and I cannot say enough about how wonderful BG Events and Catering. You won't regret booking their services!!!

ghout the process was outstanding. The day of the ceremony went smoothly and on time, all because of the attention paid to the details beforehand. The staff were always smiling and attending to our needs. The food? Nothing short of spectacular, and nobody confused it with "wedding food!" HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

autiful, fun, non-traditional wedding for us, and that they did. We loved the fact that they were a one stop shop and could not only provide great food for the event, but also fantastic service and coordination. Whenever we had questions about costs/financial breakdowns during the planning process. Denise always got back to us promptly with the information we wanted. We did not feel afraid to ask questions about anything wedding-related, and that helped us feel a lot less stressed about the wedding. We had two tastings, a walk through of the venue, and a meeting beforehand to drop off our personal items, so it was great to get to know who we were working with before the big day. We felt that Denise and Baylee really understood our vision and made it come to life in a way that was even better than expected! The additional decor brought in for our buffet and gift table was a lovely, unexpected extra touch that we super appreciated. We cannot recommend BG enough!

icated event planner, and the team was so responsive, organized, and professional. Not only did they provide amazing food and gorgeous linens and furniture rentals, the event staff was great and they took care of every detail. We had amazing flexibility with our menu and got everything we and our guests could have wanted, from appetizers to an upgraded coffee and dessert bar. They also recommended our wedding band, Them Apples Band, and they were the best! Thanks so much to the whole team for a great event! Everything we could have wanted :)

ke! Denise made it all work within the budget we gave her. Denise is flexible and will assist what ever you like. For example, I took care of putting the decoration pieces together myself, which BG placed on the dining tables. Time wise, we contacted BG in begining of June 2017 and our wedding was end September 2017 and everything worked out with - even no stress from my end. That says something about Denise and her teams experience getting things done the right way. To bad you only get married once.., happy to work with BG again!

an initial meeting. During that first meeting, we established a) a budget, b) a gluten-free menu proposal (my husband has Celiac), and c) a general concept - we wanted more of a cocktail party than a wedding reception (no procession, first dances, or speeches). When we received the contract, it accurately reflected what we had discussed at that first meeting, so we signed and put down a deposit. From that point on, however, things took a turn for the worse. Below are a few of the highlights: BG does not take allergies seriously - When we went for our tasting, Denise did not know whether the food was gluten-free. She had to ask the chef, and it turned out that there were two dishes that contained wheat flour. BG does not have transparent pricing - After we signed the contract, Denise suggested adding an additional table and linen, but did not tell us that there would be an additional cost. We later received an invoice for $39. BG prides itself on owning all of their equipment so that their clients do not need to rent each individual item. Also, the same table was priced at only $8.75 on our final invoice. BG also offers lighting packages, but again, the pricing is not transparent. We were initially told that lighting would cost about $40 per light. We were later offered a lighting package (but were never told how many lights it included) that was originally priced at $1000, but discounted to $400. When we said that we did not want the entire lighting package, we were charged $70 per light. BG does not take their clients’ wishes seriously - Denise continually requested information that did not apply to our event which revealed that she did not respect what we wanted for this event. She requested processional information 7 different times (we did not have a processional), she tried to arrange time for speeches during our rehearsal causing a lot of unnecessary confusion (we did not have any speeches), and she kept asking for contact information for vendors that we did not have. BG does not respect items the client has paid for - At the actual event, the food was delicious, and everyone had a great time. The night went smoothly, and I only have one complaint: the wait staff were very aggressive about clearing both dishes and drinks. Multiple guests reported that alcoholic drinks were cleared before they were even half empty (which, with an open bar, means that we had to pay for alcohol that was thrown out). Other guests reported that multiple staff members tried to clear children’s meals before they were finished. Since we only had 10 children’s meals at our event, for the 10 children who attended, this was especially problematic as children’s food was not available at the buffet . All in all, working with BG was a nightmare. They made things more difficult than necessary, we felt like we were being taken advantage of, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

aterers, they were the only company that wanted to meet with us in person. They wanted to get to know us, understand our vision and our love of food. They treated us to cheese and wine and made us feel very welcomed and taken care of. Their prices were very fair compared to their competitors who offered less for more. The team at BG Events helped us through every step of our wedding. They were there for us when we had any question, day or night. They helped me to choose decor, lent us pieces that they thought we would love, and tried to help us save money once final costs were being added in. They never pushed us to spend more. They always put our wants before anything else. Oh, and I haven't even mentioned how incredible their chefs are - their food is just amazing and is presented so beautifully! I cannot say enough about BG Events. I am one of 3 sisters, and all 3 of us are going to use/have used BG for our weddings!!

your bank account, BG can make it happen!

ies and BG was the first I reached out to. Denise spent almost an hour on the phone with me. She listened and answered my questions and I knew immediately she would make our day something very special. Throughout the planning process Denise, Ken, and Caitlin met with my parents, husband and I to create a day that was truly "us" and a day we would never forget. The decor, flowers, and center pieces were perfect. The food was unique, delicious and met the needs of our vegan and vegetarian guests. Denise, Ken, Caitlyn, and the entire BG staff worked tirelessly planning, preparing, and catering to our guests to ensure my husband and I could enjoy our day. Denise and Caitlin thought of everything. We could always reach out to BG by phone or email and receive a prompt reply. If you are looking to work with a caring committed team we highly recommend BG. They gave my husband and I a truly unique and personalized wedding full of delicious food, gorgeous flowers, and a stress free day.

us away! The all-inclusive services they provided were reasonably priced and excellent quality (catering, florist, day-of organization, day-of staff, equipment rentals, etc.). They easily saved me the 100+ hours of work it would have been to organize a wedding on my own, and they were responsive, flexible, practical, and respectful of the agreed-upon bottom line. While those qualities make them great, what makes BG exceptional is the personal relationship they built with my husband and me. From our first meeting, Ken, Denise, and Caitlin made an effort to get to know us. And not just, say, our favorite colors and cake flavors, but real stuff: how we met, what we love to do, our family and background, etc. They built a connection with us that allowed them to custom create a very personal menu (e.g., appealing to our Southern roots with favorites like "fancy" BBQ, chicken & waffles, bread pudding with bourbon sauce). I always felt comfortable reaching out, and they were happy to collaborate/brainstorm with me when I changed my mind on the details about a dozen times after each decision (e.g., to seat or not to seat, two stations or three). We felt like we knew them, and they knew us, so we could trust them to make the right calls on our big day (which they did...my wedding had no hitches or hiccups). I really didn't realize they are working with other couples, because they spent so much time getting to know us. It was truly a treat to work with Denise, Caitlin, and Ken, and I will reach out to them again in a heartbeat if I ever get the opportunity to host a similar event (no more weddings though -- my husband is awesome!). Best of luck to all brides, grooms, and families out there planning a wedding!

ceremony. On the day of the wedding we had so many moving parts -- buses, venue transformations, jumping on a sail boat, and have our friends build a structure in front of our guests! BG was able to make everything EVERYTHING go so smoothly and perfectly. We had delicious food, a great wedding flow, beautiful tables and overall a magical wedding weekend. Thanks!!
