Beyond thrilled with our wedding! We originally thought we could do it on our own but it was so overwhelming. BHive events really took the stress out of it. It was great to have someone who actually knows what they are doing listen to your ideas. Other wedding vendors will tell you left and right, "yes that will work out great" just to sell you additional services or decorations. BHive events was much more practical and upfront about the timeline of the day, how the decor would work together, and when all of the other vendors need to show up. She was our point person for our cake, DJ, flowers, and linens. It made the day go a lot smoother knowing someone else had it covered and I could enjoy MY DAY!

I am not a planner and Rachel did a great job really keeping me on track. We had a large wedding and she helped manage our budget. Both of our families contributed financially but as a result had certain "asks and requirements" and she made sure they both felt heard and appreciated without compromising what we wanted. We were able to sit back and enjoy our wedding because she thought of things we didnt.

Rachel was Amazing. You could tell she loved her job and took great care to see that we were happy! I had no idea our venue had lost power till afterwards because she was so on top of it! The whole team was fun energetic, easy to work with!!!!!!

Rachael has done nothing but terrorize my best friends wedding. From not contacting her for WEEKS! Not contacting vendors AT ALL, even though she said she did, they haven't heard a word from her.. Adding on 3 "assistants" at $25/hour totaling up to over $500 for work she was hired to do. The list goes on. She is a liar, manipulator and legal action will be held against her. Especially since she created such a stressful environment and her job is to take stress away from the bride. Please. This is a 100% legitimate review. Do NOT use her!

We rate Rachel Hollenbeck and BHive Events 0.00! She took our money ($1000.00 up front even though the contract said only 50% upfront) and did absolutely nothing for us. Once she had our money she stopped communicating with us. When we finally were able to talk to her, she lied to us about contacting our vendors. She said she contacted several of them and they denied this. She said she would send us a schedule and other information on disk. Each time she promised to send it by a certain time, she didn’t. We never did get one. Several of our vendors said they had heard other complaints about her. We fired her because she created more stress for us, not less. We had an amazing wedding without her

I had a perfect wedding thanks to Rachel and the team. They all did a fantastic job! Several of our vendors (most of who were friends that work in the wedding industry) even commented on how smooth and seamless our wedding went in comparison to others they had worked with planners in the past. I knew BHive would do an amazing job but it's so rewarding to have others tell me how fantastic they did. Even with amazing friends and family we couldn't have done it without them!

Rachel and Katie were really on point during our entire wedding. Exactly why we hired them. Rachel calmed our planning fears the moment we walked into her office and did not disappoint throughout the process. We wished we had hired BHive sooner. Our wedding went so great and our family was so impressed. Our cousin who is getting married next year has already booked them. Highly recommend.

I loved working with Rachael and Kate. We got exactly what we were expecting which was nothing less then first class service the entire way. They helped guide me and my fiancé through every step of the wedding, everything from timeline, to guest seating, down to who was responsible for cutting the cake. There are so many details that we had not considered, when we were looking at a wedding planner we were convinced that we just need someone to show up that day. We would have been lost had we not hired her for full service planning.

Loved working with Rachel and her team!! They did an awesome job with coordinating our wedding. If anything went wrong we had no idea because they were so in top of it. They truly made our day perfect!

Very thankful to have hired BHive Events. Our wedding was all over the place. Within our first meeting with Rachel we were able to leave confident that everything was going to be put back on track. She was on point all wedding day and kept everything organized and on track for us. We didn't have to worry about anything at all. I would hire her all over again.

Bhive Events in Columbia, MO, was the first wedding planner I hired, and subsequently fired, due to terrible communication and failure to perform. This company failed to respond to text, email, or phone messaging around dates planned to meet at a florist, etc., and failed to show, gave excuses, etc. They replied finally regarding a personal health issue and the consultant being out until mid June, by email after many weeks, and refused to refund any portion of my deposit, stating they had not violated the contract, and they had already performed work toward my wedding , none of which was ever forwarded to me. After sending a certified letter as requested by Bhive Events addressing the issue which included copies of the text, emails, and missed dates as they instructed before they considered refund, the letter was returned to me as not having been claimed by the post office. I have never before reported anyone to the BBB, but will take the time to in this instance. My wedding venue, Little Piney Lodge, has been wonderful to work with and responsive, and in no way responsible for this mess. The second coordinator they recommended, Ashley Mercer, has been great.

I do not recommend trying to use this service. Basically they cashed my check for $1,000.00 and then didn't respond to me with the vendor contracts they promised. I honestly thought they had gone out of business because they never responded to multiple emails and voice mails over a 5 month period. I finally got a response when I said I wanted a refund, and lets just say it wasn't a very nice response. Please don't make the same mistake I did, I am not sure what happened to this business but it is not the same business that got all of the positive reviews. Plus I see now that some of the information/contact information has been changed on the knot review site. Maybe Rachael is trying to dodge these bad reviews.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE! Racheal has been nothing but a headache to work with. We hired her for "day-of" services, and she has dropped the ball on literally everything we have been promised. I could detail everything here but it would be a novel, so I'll keep it short and to the point. Do not hire Racheal. She puts on a good front in person, but she is as unprofessional and unapologetic as they come. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and hire the other wedding planner in Columbia. It's not worth it to have to put up with Racheal's bulls**t during what's supposed to be the most exciting time in your life.

Wonderful Job! We were so blessed to have BHive Events as part of our daughters wedding day. It took so much stress off of the family.

I wish i could rate their service a BIG FAT 0! I will not get into the details as we are in the middle preparing our lawsuit against them. Please save yourself the headache and heartache, find another planner.
