Big Bill Entertainment

My partner and I were hoping for a better experience based on Big Bill’s great reviews, but unfortunately we were left quite disappointed during our wedding reception. We want to begin with what we appreciated about Bill. He was very friendly and accommodating to our music preferences. He also coordinated well with the vendor which was very helpful for us. Bill’s DJing during the cocktail hour went well - we had provided him a list of music we wanted played (he was very amenable to this during our planning call) and transitioned well into his own playlist once our songs ended. The trouble began during the reception. We had provided Bill with a first dance song, father/daughter dance song, and mother/groom dance song weeks before the reception. My husband and I waited in the center of the dancefloor in awkward silence for minutes while Bill tried to locate the name of our song. Next, my father and I waited in silence for Bill to find our song, only for him to play the incorrect song. My husband had to run over to him and help him find the correct song. Fortunately, he got the song right for the mother/groom dance. We had also asked Bill to only play one slow dance song, he played two. Lastly, the transitions between songs were surprisingly disjointed. One song did not flow nicely into another, but there was awkward silence in between songs. I was also disappointed that Bill never apologized for the many mistakes during the first dance and father/daughter dance. Overall, we were quite disappointed in our experience with Big Bill.
