Big Bob's did my wedding a few years ago. Becky is the absolute worst person to deal with, wedding or not. Everything seemed fine before, even though she had a bit of an attitude. The day of my wedding, she and one other person show up in old khaki shorts and stained polos. The potatoes were hard and black liked they were reheated. Salad dressing still in bottles, not in dishes, and they never cut my cake after I asked for this and paid for it, according to their bill. Becky and her help stood in the text eating while my dinner was going on. Never dismissed tables and gave my parents and new husband attitude after we asked for a plate to put the cake on for the cake cutting. Big Bob didn't care when both my mother and I called to talk with him after the wedding. Please, for the love of God, stay away from these con artists. The rest of the food was ok, but honestly, if you are going to do someone's wedding, at least act like you care. They had no problem taking my money and not giving any discount or refund. The food was not worth the hassle!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!Did not serve wedding party, very rude w guests & wedding party, ate the food my sister paid for when they should have been filling/serving the food..They sat in the kitchen u til pans needed filled.Didn't have appetizers til about 5 mins before wedding party got there..Witnessed them eating our appetizers while setting up the appetizer trays.Ridiculous!! Loads of food leftover, not offered to the bride and groom ttake home..
In a positive note the Mac N cheese was AMAZING but overall service was a big fat 👎 — in Windsor, Pennsylvania.
Let me start off by being positive and say that their food was excellent and everyone loved it. It went perfect with our rustic country wedding theme. BUT.....
Three months before my wedding i went over to look at their tables and chairs that i had already book 9 months prior... (I wanted to see how my table cloths and center pieces looked.) Thank God I went because I found out that day the manager Becky Buser had double booked chairs. I needed 225 and she only had 100 for me. Now I booked over a year in advanced to my wedding and so I was shocked. Then she said she'll figure it out and get back to me. Well she never did. So finally about 50 days before the wedding I called to see what was going on and she had forgotten about the issue. Her solution was to just "Let me use" the old back up mix and match chair, but still charge me full price. So I went back and forth with her and I was extremely polite considering the screwed up situation (mainly because I wanted good service and food for the wedding) I was beyond helpful in the sense that I called around and found the same chairs for the same price that I was willing to order if she would just cover the delivery fee, which she wouldn't.... so any way the communication sucked she had to "ask her dad" and it would take her a day or two to get back to me; usually I would have to call her and she would have a million reasons why she hadn't called yet. She never had the answers I needed. Finally they made the chair situation right... BUT the day before the wedding I was told the chairs would be delivered by 9 ( I had a crew of people there to help set up) and they were and hour and a half late. When I called to see where they were they had just left the farm and she had tons of excuses of why... oh I have other weddings blah blah blah. The least she could have done was called and let us know they were running late. No, lets add more stress to the wedding. I was never offered any discount to make all my troubles right or even given an apology. The best thing Big BOb could do is hire a better manger who actually knows how to communicate, and stay organized.
We had our wedding down on a farm and only thought that a BBQ would be fitting!! The food was amazing, and everyone loved it!! Things got a little mixed up with time and some of the food got a little bit cold(but it was also cold outside since it rained). They were very helpful in the planning of what we were going to have to eat, and they did a wonderful job!!
We had our wedding outdoors, but they did a great job with it. They made sure that everything was ready so our guests could get through quickly. Yet, everything was so elegant looking. The staff was excellent too. They were helpful through the whole process and very willing to help make our dinner special. Especially since we desperately wanted pork bbq (despite the white dress). I recommend them for anyone wanting an easy going dinner service for the wedding or any other event.
