I recently had the pleasure of using a photo booth with a gold glitter backdrop, and it was an absolute hit. Setting up the photo booth was straightforward, and the gold glitter backdrop fit seamlessly into the overall design. Guests loved it and couldn’t stop taking photos in front of it. We rent an open-air booth setup, it was sleek and modern, with a minimalistic design that seamlessly integrated into our venue. Unlike traditional enclosed booths, the open-air style allowed for a more flexible and dynamic photo area. The setup was quick and efficient, and the team was professional in getting everything ready in no time.

We loved having a photo booth at your wedding! It was so much fun for us and our guests. I am not giving 5 starts, however, because this companies communication needs improvement. Our original phone call talking with this company was very awkward. In addition, communicating back and forth with the graphic designer was difficult because they hardly responded. In the end though, we loved our design! Last, the company says you can email your pictures to you phone at the wedding, but when you do, they are blurry. Now you are forced to purchase the photos when I thought that’s what we paid for.

We booked Big Hugs Photo Booth for our wedding reception and they were a hit with our guests!! They were also really easy to work with during the planning process, even through a covid postponement. They also designed a custom template for us that matched our invitations and color scheme! Great package at a great price. Glad we booked them.

Everyone loved the unique mirror photo booth. It came with a background, props, and printed and texted copies of the photos. The attendant was also very nice.

Excellent customer service. Very quick setup and take down. We had a small issue with my wifi not extending all the way to the back yard but we solved it with a hot spot. We used a Big Hugs Photo Booth at our wedding reception in a restaurant . Couldn't have been happier. They showed up on time, weren't in the way, the operator was friendly and they brought props everyone enjoyed using. We got access to the online photos 2 days later and were able to share them with all our guests. Plus they sent us a flash drive of the photos and we opted for the print album as well. All in all everything we could have asked for.

Having a quality photo booth was one of my top priorities. I've been to plenty of weddings with terrible ones, so I was determined to be an exception! After a bit of research, I stumbled upon Big Hugs and I was instantly impressed. Big Hugs beat a competitor's offer financially, and also included so much more for the price, including choice of backdrops, custom print design, 4x6 or strip print options, etc. Stanley was very responsive and all of my requests were met. What truly blew me away was the gorgeous custom design print that Christina from Big Hugs created for us. I sent her a sample of my other stationary, and her design matched PERFECTLY. It was beautiful and truly exceeded my expectations. I LOVE that Big Hugs gives the option of 4X6 prints instead of just strips, so my guests walked away with something they can frame! The photo booth itself was perfection. I chose the Party Photo Booth, which comfortably held up to ten people, while still providing a curtain for privacy. The props provided were great, and I was also able to bring my own custom props as well. My favorite part of the booth was the fact that it gave you time to re-pose in between frames, with a countdown, and you can see yourself as the photo is taken, so you know how it will turn out! There was even the option to print in color, black and white, or sepia, although I wish the attendant had made that more clear to our guests. Unlimited prints allowed all of my guests to walk away happy, but what truly impressed me was the gorgeous guestbook our wonderful attendant Paolo assembled on site from guest photos and signatures. It is one of my favorite souvenirs from our wedding day. Paolo was so friendly and accommodating to our guests, and was so approachable and patient! One of the biggest perks was receiving digital copies not only of all of the photo booth sessions from our wedding, but also the individual photos from each session, in extremely high quality. I can't stop looking at the photos, they are AMAZING! Big Hugs is the best photo booth out there from what I've seen, and the value is incredible. I wanted some sort of entertainment, which could indulged all the guest and make the day more special. My wife suggested photo booth and made all arrangements, I wasn’t sure if this will work out. But to my surprise, they created a personalized design print especially for my wedding, with various props and a few personalized ones based on my wife’s guidance. My wife’s was overjoyed with the surprise and all the guests also enjoyed the photo booth to the core. Everyone went home along with a copy of their photo booth snaps with them. We utilized Big Hugs for our wedding about a month ago and I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. They were great to work with through the entire planning process and CJ was helpful and responsive with all of my questions. On the actual day of the wedding, they were timely and professional. Everything looked nice once set up, and all of our guests had a blast!! Would definitely recommend to anyone in need in the Chicago area.

We initially booked Big Hugs for our wedding because it seemed like the most affordable option, and had good reviews. Our experience, however, was terrible. The attendant was extremely unprofessional and ruined the photo experience for my guests that evening. First off, we had multiple wedding guests comment to us that the attendant was eating the passed hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour. He was actually waiving the servers over to him. It goes without saying that these are for guests only. We graciously provided all vendors with meals during their designated break time. In addition, he put out an open plastic food container along with a handwritten message, on a napkin, that said "Please give Tips". It looked super unprofessional. To make it worse, when guests left the booth he said "tips, tips, tips, tips, tips" to everyone. He even did it to us, the bride and the groom. Tips, tips, tips, tips - who does that? I was mortified for my guests and apologizing to them all night for his behavior. We had paid a built in gratuity for the service, plus gave him an envelope with additional money at the end of the night, so he certainly got the tips he wanted so badly, whether he deserved them or not. Needless to say, we were quite disappointed with the service. But mostly humiliated that our guests had to witness / experience his behavior. Learned our lesson the hard way, you get what you pay for.

We made a last minute decision to add a photo booth to our NYE wedding in downtown Chicago. I landed on Big Hugs because they had great reviews and were more affordable than a lot of quotes we received for an open photo booth. The booking process was pretty straight forward, but it went downhill from there. I explained that we only wanted to have the photo booth set-up after dinner (~3 hours) and that we wanted it in the space used for the cocktail hour. The contact we signed it outlined that they needed 30 minutes for set-up, so I didn't think it would be an issue to start the set-up after cocktail hour, and it would be ready well before dinner concluded. When my coordinator confirmed final details, they said they needed 2 hours for set-up... Although this was way different than the 30 minutes outlined in their contract, we were still able to make the timeline work because dinner took about 2 hours. The night of the wedding, the photo booth was not working for the first 1.5 hours. We had guests waiting to use the photo booth, but the attendant was not able to get it operating. Eventually, the owner came to my venue and was able to get it working, but the backdrop was out of place for a portion of the photos and they forgot to put out the guest book that we paid $150 extra for. I was surprised when I returned from my honeymoon that I didn't have any email or apology from Big Hugs. I reached out to get an explanation and refund for the event, and initially was told they were willing to refund the 1.5 hours the photo booth was not operating... after additional conversations, they agreed to a full refund. However, it took 3 follow-up emails and calls to actually get the refund issued. I went back and forth on whether or not to write a review, since they made an effort to correct things with the refund, but knowing I used these reviews to decide on Big Hugs, I would have wanted this information before moving forward with them as a vendor.

We hired Big Hugs as our photo booth vendor for our wedding. The pictures turned out great and everything went smoothly the night of the wedding. At first, Big Hugs was super responsive but after we signed the contract I found myself chasing them for responses but it turns out they had a glitch in their system. However, the night of the wedding they showed up on time, needed very little guidance and helped make our wedding memorable.

I was skeptical at first to do a photo booth at our wedding- I feel like they've been overdone lately and they're not always fun. I'm so glad my husband pushed us to do it because it was a huge hit! We didn't have a large space for a photo booth, but Big Hugs had a small option that was kind of like an old timey walk in photo booth with a curtain. They had just a few fun props- some other booths I've seen have about 50 options which is overwhelming- and the attendant was very friendly & personable. They even came up with a custom design for the bottom of the photo strips for our wedding. they sent us a proof of what they came up with, we didn't love it so we asked if they could try again- and they were more than willing to make any changes we wanted. The value was great as some photo booths we looked at were well over $1000. I'm very happy with our decision to use Big Hugs. Not only did we have a lot of fun ourselves getting goofy, butour guests and our family LOVED it! It was so much fun watching everyone get as silly as they could and then making PERMANENT evidence! Don't get me wrong, I love the professional pictures that were taken. They are very beautiful and really captured the elegance of my dream wedding (and it really was!) BUT... the Photo Booth was the real winner! It was the photo booth that captured the real fun of the event. It's wonderful to be able to look through all the pics now and see how wonderful and formal and beautiful my special day was, and then also see how much everyone truely enjoyed themselves. Can not recommend Big Hugs Photo Booth enough! The original photo booth that we booked cancelled 3 days before the wedding!!! We were both extremely upset at the thought of not having a photo booth at our wedding, however we came across big hugs on the Knot, and within 1 hour of sending on online inquiry, I was on the phone with Stanley who assured us that we came to the right place. They expedited everything for us and with virtually no time were still able to design a custom photo strip to match our theme. The service was incredible. They arrived on site early and stayed engaged the entire evening to make sure our the guests got to enjoy the service. Big Hugs Photo Booth was a HIT! Our guest had many things to do and stopping by the Photo Booth was one of them! I loved the guestbook they put together and loved the online gallery! Big Hugs Photo Booth is THE BEST Photo Booth company ever! They provided our photo booth for our wedding and our wedding guests loved it! Their setup is amazing and Stanley and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. They helped add so much fun to our wedding. Guests took home so many pictures. They have the best quality booth, prints and props around. They had guests put their photos and sign a guest book for us to keep! I was also able to download all of the photos and posted it in social media. We love seeing and having all the photos that everyone took. I highly recommend big hugs photo booth! I can't wait to hire them for our future events because they added so much fun. And, they're affordable! Pls. Book them, you and your guests will love it!!!!!

Big hugs was fantastic! They were affordable, informative, and friendly. I received everything I could possibly want. The props were great and the photo album was awesome. The open air party booth was so much fun. The booth was busy all night long. They even designed the photo strips for my wedding in our wedding colors. It was all very personal and surpassed my expectations. I would recommend this company to anyone!

We heard about Big Hugs Photo Booth through our Day of Coordinator (Abby at Events by Abby). The photobooth was a big hit at our wedding. There were lots of props and the attendant made sure to put all of the photos into our complimentary scrapbook. The set up happened during our cocktail hour when they were flipping our ceremony venue into our reception. Overall, we really liked Big Hugs.

A follow up to the review I wrote yesterday. A month and a half after our event, I finally received the items promised because of the difficulties we had. Stanley finally called to let me know the items were coming. I increased the rating by another star, but cannot give any more given the difficulty I have had communicating with Big Hugs.

This was such a fun way to add something different to our celebration. All of our guests loved it and we had so much fun looking through the photo book after our wedding. Stanley and Paolo were awesome to work with and we highly recommend by them for any event! They were accommodating every step of the way, communicated efficiently and effectively and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy!

Big Hugs was a great addition to our wedding reception. Working with Stanley was hassle free from beginning to end. Our photo booth attendant for the night, Paulo, was also very attentive, helpful, and friendly throughout the night. The guests loved it and going with Big Hugs was one of the best decisions we made. Let me tell you.....of all the wedding vendors we had, bighugs got the most compliments from our guests. The staff was super nice and made everyone coming to the Booth feel welcomed! The service provided was tremendous!!! With everything going on before the wedding we even forgot our final payment and they still showed up!!! (We paid after no worries) but seriously huge shout out to bighugs for making our day even better.

My guests loved using the photo booth. They designed the back drop of the photos in our wedding colors. The vendor was easy going. The best part was we got to view all the photos as 4 X 6 and were given a code to download them.

We had a great experience using Big Hugs for a photo booth at our wedding!! I had purchased an impulsive Groupon deal and wasn't sure which vendor we'd be getting for our photo booth (the Groupon was for a broker company), and I was getting nervous it was a scam until a few weeks before the wedding the broker set us up with Big Hugs and everything went amazingly! I got an email from Stanley at Big Hugs Photo Booth confirming all the wedding details including timing, type of photo booth, and colors for the photo booth pictures. Stanley was very friendly, responsive, and amenable to last minute questions and a shift in timing of our photo booth. He had no problem shifting our 4 hour time frame by 15 minutes just a few days before the wedding. The attendant was on site the whole time the photo booth was up at the wedding ensuring it was working properly and helping guests with questions. The attendant also even made sure me (the bride) and groom got a set of pictures in the booth before it closed since we had forgotten to get any of ourselves. In addition, setup and take-down of the photobooth was so seamless I didn't notice either occur. And lastly, the pictures are priceless. BIG THANKS TO BIG HUGS FOR MAKING OUR WEDDING DAY EVEN MORE UNFORGETTABLE!

I used Big Hugs Photo Booth for my wedding. One of my best friends had used one of their photo booths for her wedding and I really enjoyed the fact that guests were able to take home a photo strip of their good memories at the wedding. I decided to use them for my wedding and I am so glad that I did. Big Hugs Photo Booth was pretty much the highlight of my wedding. The line to get in the photo booth was out the door and I could tell that my guests were having the best time ever taking fun photos. I went with the Party Hug Photo Booth because I loved the style and thought that it would fit the location perfectly. I'm really glad that I used this company and Stanley was so accommodating. He was easy to speak with and was very prompt in getting back with me. I was impressed with his communications skills and with how genuine he was. The photo booth crew was so nice and kept my guests laughing the entire night. It really added to the fun. It was kind of hard to believe initially when I came across Big Hugs Photo Booth in The Knot because they really have good reviews in a very affordable and reasonable price. After our big day, I then realized why! They have this new and high-quality type of booth which I haven’t seen in other photo booths. All our guests who had their pictures taken even got a chance to get individual prints even they are a big group (it was really a great remembrance of our wedding to our guests!). Their staff was professional and very accommodating.
