and wonderful. We used Bill Hansen for food, alcohol, tables, chairs, diningware, cloth_things, and the dance floor (and this is what I can remember - there’s prolly more). Before the wedding: We settled on Bill Hansen as a friend of mine had used them in the spring on 2019 and they had great reviews. They were immediately wonderful at iterating through and replying to our requests and were very transparent about what changes would cost. Valentina was really fast with a reply and the communication was wonderful. The tasting was also great. Further, whenever we weren't sure where to get something, we’d reach out and they’d either give a good price price (e.g., we went with their dance floor) or they sent us in the right direction. Valentina was one of the most on-top-of-it people across most business I’ve seen - she’s a rockstar. During the wedding: The food was the bombdotcom.com (that’s right, two “dotcoms”). We did the surf and turf and the steak and the salmon were both incredibly well made. Everything else was also great. We went with a Caipirinha as a custom cocktail and they were really really good (my aunts leaned in on them maybe a little too much?). Finally (on thing things), they let us bring in a couple cases of Sam Adams to match the hometown drinks feel (did the Boston (Sam Adams) and Sao Paulo (Caipirinha) thing), and that made it that much more special. On the service thing (not the things thing), it’s been a year, and I don’t remember one interaction with the staff outside of the bartenders being amazing. I think this speaks to how amazing they all were - this was a highly effective staff who got the amazing food out quickly and whose bartenders never had a long line (something I was worried about beforehand). I can’t endorse Bill Hansen enough - the food/drinks and the service were all phenomenal. A special shoutout to Valentina - she was really great to work with.

sed on wedding day and more. The best thing about the Bill Hansen approach is that it's a one stop shop. They did all the rentals, all the food, all the drinks, all the wait and bar staff, all the load in and clean up, and it was just done, on time and with personal attention and care. For example, after the ceremony a waiter brought us a personal platter of every appetizer so we didn't miss out on anything while we did photos and talked to guests. And everything from the tables and chairs to the plates, food and drinks is customizable. They have a great showroom and tasting space at Villa Woodbine where you can go through everything and take your time to get the look and tastes that you want. The team was incredibly responsive, and all the guests loved the food (as did we). They accommodated a variety of rather complex allergies and dietary restrictions (veggie, vegan, nut allergy, dairy allergy, gluten free, and combinations of above). In short, can't recommend them enough. Thanks for making it such a special day Sandra! e full-service team had us feeling like we were well taken care of. On the day of the wedding, we couldn't stop gushing over how my Pinterest page became our reality. The operations team is incredibly attentive to the guests, and most importantly to us, ensuring we had a moment to indulge alongside our loved ones. The food was phenomenal! The party was so fun, and we can't thank the Bill Hansen Catering staff enough for making it so enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend and 100% would use again for any future event.

We are so happy we had Bill Hansen on our team to make our wedding dreams come true. From the first meeting with Sandra and Chef Mary, we knew we were in great hands. Chef Mary is a culinary artist: she not only did the research to make sure she delivered authentic and tasteful interpretations of the Jamaican and Ethipioan dishes we wanted present, but she plated, decorated and served them in such a fantastic fashion, that truly delighted all of our family and guests. Sandra is a dream collaborator: she is so organized, efficient, and professional, and would work alongside us to make sure all of our desires were met. I cannot thank them enough for being part of our special day-we cant have imagined it without them!

to support, but BHC just raised the bar at every step. First, BHC's tasting was hosted in a gorgeous venue. The long-time owner, Bill, came out to welcome me even though I was surely a lower budget event for them. The food tasted spectacularly with looks to match. (Seriously I never thought chicken could be so uniquely delicious.) Chef Dewey was awesome. Accommodating, creative, and patient. But the highlight above all was Sandra Perez. She was such an anchor for us during our wedding weekend. Insanely responsive and will do anything to make sure your event goes smoothly. She went above and beyond on the wedding day to keep us fed and help out with other areas that were surely not in her scope. Ok, BHC wasn't cheap, but I love good food and it was so validating to have every guest tell me how unexpectedly amazing the food was. Highly recommend BHC, and especially the power combo of Sandra and Chef Dewey :)

They may be known for their dishes and presentation skills or quality of ingredients but we were blown away throughout the entire process (tasting, planning, and the big day). The only hiccup we experienced (and the reason we knocked 1 star off for Quality of Service) was with the bartenders they provided to serve our signature cocktails which were an Old Fashioned (His) and a New York Sour (Hers)... instead of using the Maker's Mark bourbon we provided for both cocktails, they used Buchanan's Scotch Whiskey and about 4-8 sugar cubes per drink... Other than this very small detail, everything else was amazing and we would not only recommend them for your wedding, but they would be our first call for any major event we plan in the future. here - this is high end restaurant quality. Not only is it the best wedding food we’ve ever had, but the Bill Hansen Catering staff worked with us to create a unique menu based on anything we desired. We felt like a king and queen at our menu tasting and it will be a day we will remember forever (for being so incredibly happy and full!). We chose two of their classic stations, the Cuban and the Fire and Ice, but we also made our own station based on our travels to France, Spain, and Thailand. They absolutely nailed it and the green curry with rice was one of the best rated items on our menu! They were extremely flexible in working with what we wanted. Highly recommended!!

The whole team at Bill Hansen is great! I can not even being to put to words how amazing Valentina was at Bill Hansen, she helped my dream wedding come true. From the 1st interaction she was so timely on getting back to me, worked with my schedule , created a special menu for our reception &tailored it to what we wanted, recommended vendors, helped me choose vendors (DJ, florist, planner), worked with me until the very last minute. I am telling you I was probably the most difficult bride with being in school and making a decision, Valentina was patient and helped me so much. I recommend the Bill Hansen team 100000 times you will not regret it. Every penny spent was worth it. Wedding Day: The staff was so welcoming and kind. Everyone was so nice. The waiters SO nice and accommodating. The food was great. I had a guest text me a week after asking me how she could get some of the food bc it was so good (thats the kind of caterer you want to be part of your wedding). I promise you this will be the best vendor you choose!!

Ashley Morales worked with my husband and I for a year and was responsive, kind, helpful and honest. She made our experience unforgettable and we are so thankful for her! Not only is the venue incredible, but the Bill Hansen catering is phenomenal. It affords you a multitude of options and the food is to die for. Numerous guests commented on how it was some of the best food they have been served at a wedding. Most importantly, if you have the chance to work with Valentina, DO IT. She is the best of the best. We would have another wedding just to work with her again (and hang out with her). We are not from the Miami area and she went above and beyond to help us. She understood our vision and connected us with the right vendors. She definitely went out of her own way to help us get everything we wanted. Thank you Villa Woodbine for the best night of our lives. It was by far the best wedding we have ever been to :)

The day of cancellations were no issue and everyone LOVED their food - especially the sliced bistro steak! we had 105 people order the steak out of 120 and we had nothing but positive comments "the best food i have ever eaten at a wedding" and "The is the first time I have had wedding food that is actually still hot when it got to me" were some of my favorites. highly recommend!

4 weeks before our big day because of Covid. We decided to get married here in Miami instead! We found Villa Woodbine and Bill Hansen Catering after a bit of research, and the rest is history! We met with Genevieve at the venue (she is a rockstar, by the way) and planned our dream wedding in less than 3 months. They were able to see our vision and pair us with the most incredible vendors. From the food, to the decor, to the cocktails, everything turned out perfect and our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was. It truly was such a fun, easy, and wonderful experience! I wish we could do it all over again.

We had such a hard time deciding what to choose because everything we tasted was phenomenal. The service was great too. Our guests arrived early, and they began to serve welcome drinks right away while they waited. They also catered to us as the bride and groom. They brought us up platters of hors d’oeuvres to the bridal suite during cocktail hour, gave us an extra meal at the end of the night to take home, and even continued to make the welcome drink all night for me. Highly recommend!

I don't think there was a single guest that didn't mention this to me! Second, they made sure to make my random pinterest inspired dreams come to life, even if it meant chasing leads to find the smallest limes possible! And, if all that wasn't enough, they also provided a beautiful surprise on my wedding day for me and my husband AND our guests - our engagement photo superimposed onto our cocktail hour drinks! There is so much more but I have to stop writing at some point. Not only were the actual products provided amazing, but the service was above and beyond. I truly don't think there is a better team and I am eternally grateful they were a part of my wedding day. I will never forget it.
